Hi! My name is Maria and have just moved to Sydney to begin an MD program. I just came in a day ago from Toronto, Canada and am looking forward to getting to know Australia better over the next 4 years. I'm 31 years old (I'm returning to school after a couple years of working). I'm pretty clean, laid back (especially for a med student), and pretty easy to get along with. I'm happy to answer any questions :) I'm looking to live with 1-2 roommates in a spot that is less than a 45 minute walk from the U Syd ideally. Looking to stay in a budget of about $350/month (utilities included) or under. I need to find a place to stay asap so I'm open to both short- and long-term arrangements.
Hi there! We moved to Sydney a couple of weeks ago and we are looking for a room to share. We are quiet, clean and very reliable people. We are a couple so we would like to share a room! We have family living in Sydney in case for any required reference. Thank you!
We're a Dutch couple and just arrived at Sydney. We're looking for a place to stay for longer term so we can really experience living and working in Sydney. We're friendly, calm, like to hang out but also like to go our own way.
I'm Rosie, 22, 23 this year! clean and tidy. Am originally from Melbourne and have come to Sydney to try something new, get out of my comfort zone and meet new and different people. I work in Law Monday - Friday in the CBD so my week consists of early starts and late nights unless my boss is in a great mood and lets us finish up earlier. (Very rare) I love travelling and have learnt many skills whilst being abroad, one skill i pride myself on is cooking. I come from a big ethnic asian family on one side so i tend to cook up large feasts that may put you into a food coma (a great one though). I believe i am very easy going, I've lived with an array of housemates in my time. Including an all male household which i found to be extremely enjoyable and they've assured me i would be a great addition to have as a housemate. They were not bribed to say that :D I am big on respecting other housemate's privacy and space, as i like the same for me. Although being young the days of wild partying are done for me, I enjoy grabbing a few drinks at some funky bars with mates or just hanging out at home with the gang. Being new in Sydney I'll probably try and pick your brains on some cool places to go and visit. I like to head out of the city most weekends and go on a hike or find some decent burger joints and more than happy to be accompanied whilst going on such adventures! Other than all that, i like animals, and all around banter, pretty basic stuff. Hopefully I'm a suitable housemate for you :)
Hi there! My names Maanveer. I work and study part time. I'm easy going and always up for a laugh and respectful to people surroundings. As I am quite working and studying I always make time to be sociable. I'm looking for a private room in shared accommodation. Somewhere clean with internet access and well-maintained facilities. I look forward to hearing from you. If you have any further questions please feel to contact me Regards Maan
We're two friends who have recently moved to Sydney and are looking for two bedrooms in a house/apartment share. We are easy going, non-smoking, beer loving girls who are hoping to find like minded people to live with from the beginning of February onwards. To tell you more about us we are two professionals who on a week night could be found hanging out and chatting, exploring Sydney, enjoying our own space, exercising, having a cheeky drink after a long day or eating seafood. On weekends we like to go out and socialise and tick off new places and experiences on our bucket list. Keen to some like minded people to live with :)
Hey, Hope you are well. My name is Sonal. I'm a 22 y/o female and I work in digital marketing for a law firm based in Sydney. I have lived in a shared house before and enjoyed it. I am pretty relaxed, my work keeps me busy during the week but weekends I enjoy trying out cafes, hiking, reading. Thanks :) Sonal
I am a 20 year old dutch girl. Studying and working in Sydney. I love to explore Sydney, but also like to have a drink at home or going out. Always up for meeting new people and going new places.
Hello. My name is Daniel and I am a 24 year old law student in my final year of studies. I am a big fan of chilling out and would ideally like to develop a friendship with my new housemates. At the same time, I completely respect other people’s space and privacy. I consider myself to be pretty easy going so I’m very willing to accommodate any sort of house rules and any pets would just be an added bonus for me. P.S. I also come with a coffee machine and TV if they’re needed. Just a little added bonus to sweeten the deal.
We are a young, happy couple who are looking for a place to live whilst we are living in Sydney. We are aged 22 and 25. From England and France. We are easygoing, Trust worthy, friendly people. We enjoy making new friends and we are very easy to get along with.
Hello! I'm a film student on my last year of Uni at the Australian Film School working part time at UTS (and other various jobs). I'm a clean and laid back type of person who loves to hang/socialise with people but also respects space of others. I love films! (obviously as I study and make them haha) as well as studying/training in martial arts, going to the beach, reading books and going out on the occasion. I'm a pretty good cook and always clean up after myself. As for my background - I'm from NZ w/ Maori, Italian and Aboriginal heritage but grew up in inner-west Sydney for high school.
Hey! I'm Laura, a 29 year old female professional originally from Melbourne. I've been living in Sydney for just over a year now. I'm clean and very considerate. I currently work in Finance but am actually quite creative. My I like drawing, art, design, exploring, walks, bike rides, tea of all sorts, drinks with friends, the beach, brunch and meeting new people. I pay bills on time, tidy up and always make an effort to respect others. I like to keep things fairly quiet during the week but enjoy a laugh over some drinks from time to time. I say I'm into exercise and healthy eating but I'm not always great at actually doing it. I hope to find housemates that enjoy hanging out at times, maybe play a game of cards and have a couple of drinks, but I also respect people's space. I have a bunny named Hans. He's house trained, uses a kitty litter and doesn't cause any issues. I'd keep him in a courtyard/veranda and let him inside on occasions as he likes the company. I hope you'll consider me as your future housemate! Cheers, Laura
Hi my name is Darren, I've just come over to Sydney from Melbourne to begin post grad med which I'm really excited about. Im a really easy going, laid back guy, always happy for a chat or a movie binge, games night, whatever you're into. Im generally tidy but not a neat freak - would always do my own dishes etc. Would love to make new friends wherever I'm living but also will probably be crazy busy at Uni so I'm happy with easy going or outgoing housemates! Im good with animals if you have any and am respectful of peoples personal space. A furnished room would suit me best as I'm more or less coming over with the clothes on my back but I'm flexible with whatever is available. Please message me if you think you have something that might suit me - I'm currently available to meet potential housemates/view rooms now that I'm in Sydney. Thanks for reading
We are a fun couple and great to live with. We are both creative, i'm a designer and Tim study's fashion. Love to relax at home, socialise a bit, and know when to keep it private. We love watching movies, and relaxing and happy to share in this. We have a full set of funky furniture and items for the kitchen, as well as fridge and washing machine. Ideally looking to team-up for a town house, inner city or inner west. I also like making craft beer and have it on tap at home, willing to share.
Hey! We are a couple from the Isle of Man and Germany who met while travelling and we've just finished a roadtrip all around the country. We like food and beer and head to the gym regularly as we like hiking and adventures. We will both be working in the day time and like to cook. We like to go out with friends but enjoy staying in to binge watch a TV show or movies. We are both 24, easygoing, love animals (if you have a dog, it will be shown so much love) and like live music. Before meeting in Sydney, we have both explored the world and love meeting people with different stories to share. We aren't intrusive but down to hang out with a cup of tea or coffee. Get in touch if we sound like a match!
We are a French couple looking for a new share house asap ! We are currently living in Ashfield but our room mate wants to move out so we need a new place we can call home. We are clean, tidy and easy going people. We are both working in construction around Sydney. We are quiet people who like time to time to rest in their room but also share and talk with nice house mates ;) If you're interested to meet please let us know. Claire & Antoine
I am originally from China but have lived in the States for 5 years. I am an easy going and tidy person. I love to travel, do yoga, cook and spend time with friends
I enjoy making a house a home, and a place where you feel happy and relaxed to be. I like being able to have housemates that you can either cook dinner with, chill in front of the tv, have a discussion over a beer/wine or everyone keeps to themselves. I'm house trained, so understand the dynamics of living with people. For 4 years, I've been working for a German audio company, but have recently stepped into a Customer Service Manager role for ANZ. On the weekends, you'll usually find me trying to check out a coffee joint, or a food place I've been wanting to try.. alternatively, I love being outdoors, anything from heading to the beach, to sipping a wine and reading a book outside. Try not to take myself too seriously. Shout out if you have any questions at all :)
My boyfriend and I are new to Sydney and looking for a great place to live! We're from the UK, on working holiday visas and looking for a new place to call home! We're both into running and fitness! Enjoy the occasional beverage or two in the evenings and weekends! Always up for socialising but happy to keep ourselves to ourselves too! Both really tidy and have done house shares for years before! :) Would love to hear from you if you have a room going or interested in teaming up to find somewhere!
We are a couple who have lived in shared houses for 7 years - originally from NZ and have been in Sydney for 2 years. We are easy to get along with, considerate and tidy. We both work in finance, and are looking for fun and friendly new people to live with.
Hello! I'm Benjamin - 30, I am super chilled these days and bit of a creative-file I guess! I'm really into music (Listening, playing, studying, producing) I like photography, I like surfing, I like reading and travelling Umm I am from Byron :) I Work in floristry during the week, am a qualified electrician and work most weekends in that field. I studied at the Australian Institute of Music (Art's and Entertainment management). On my days off I tend to head to the beach for a surf, socialising with friends, doing yoga or work on my music. I'm a major Language and culture enthusiast - can speak Thai, learning Korean and intend on learning Japanese in the close future. I grew up with 3 older sister's and a single mom soo can handle living in a more 'feminine' household... I'm totally LGQBT accepting (and any other lifestyle choice you may identify with) but yeah I am open minded and chilled. I eat pretty much everything, and have lived in both sharing/non sharing houses so I am quiet easy going but generally if i am going to cook a meal I will cook enough for everyone living with me :)
I'm moving from Newcastle to Sydney to study full time. I'm studying acting (which doesn't mean I'm not a good payer - my parents are very supportive of the course & back me 100%). I'm pretty easygoing so sharing a place with me won't be hard. I'm fairly quiet (but not antisocial); I'll never keep you up late at night (I'm not a crazy partier). I love movies, staying fit, and hanging out with friends. I don't have any bizarre habits. I don't know what else to say really, but I'm a good flatmate and just want to find somewhere safe, happy & non-smoking to live. Choose me!
I grew up with 4 sisters, so I've picked up a few good (I hope) habits along the way. I'm often out in the city looking for good food, music, coffee, and galleries, but when I'm in, I'm very chilled, clean, love to cook, and occasional acoustic guitar. I'm very respectful of other people's space, but also love to share whatever I'm indulging in (more than likely, it's Thai food). Looking for normal roommates, if they exist... Preferably very chilled, and must love a good wildlife documentary.
Interested in architecture, design, life, yoga..Read books, take walks in nature, friends and fun. From Sweden, graduate architect, looking for work in Australia! Right now travelling Southeast Asia! Non smoker! Tidy and clean! Love to find some cool people to share my time in Australia with:) All the best, with love Sandra
Hello there, my name is Gage! I am a New Zealand student currently studying a BSci at the University of Sydney, and am looking for a room for the school year. My degree is full-time, and I hope to transition into medical school afterwards. I am a tidy and quiet individual, and I like to think I am very outgoing and friendly. I've flatted before, and I would love to have flatmates who are fun and interesting. I look forward to living with you!
I am a respectful flatmate, non-smoker, clean and easy to live with looking for like minded people. I enjoy sport, exercising, reading and meeting new people. I work in Education and usually spend Monday to Friday trying to keep fit while socialising with friends on the weekend.
QLD guy moving to Sydney to start study at Uni Syd. Spent the last 5 years living and working overseas. I really enjoy great conversation over a few quiet drinks. Reliable, quiet and clean - I also love to cook from scratch (with the occasional baking). Happy to live with anyone from anywhere as am very open minded and tolerant. Look forward to meeting soon.
Hi, My name is Jourdon and I am a UNSW scholarship student currently working at the investment bank Rothschild. I am looking for housing for the next 6 months near the city or a train line to facilitate easy access to work. I am a neat person with minimal personal items and am simply looking for a private room with enough space to hang my clothes and fit a king single or double bed. I've lived overseas for last 6 months in America on University Exchange in shared housing so I am house trained and work well with people of all demographics and age groups.
I will be in Sydney this July and looking for not only a place to live but also a place to call 'home'. I'll be studying Accounting for the next 2 years (Master program) in the University of Sydney so the stay will be the longer the better if we get along really well. I'd like to think that I'm open-minded, friendly, clean and tidy.I enjoyed my life in many ways---I cook, I travel and I make my place cozy. I would be doing a part-time job after moving to Sydney but won't keep myself around the clock. By the way, going to the gym will also be part of my daily routine. I would do things like watching movies, reading, and throwing some conversations with my flatmates after school/work. Besides, hanging out around interesting places of the city will be my cup of tea. I'm definitely not a party animal but won't say no to interesting ones once in a while. I don't smoke and drug-clean. I come from China originally, and I'm also gay if this matters. For more information, please feel free to send a message.

After work I like to go anywhere outside to enjoy the rest of the day or just hanging around and have a chat combined with a few drinks. My biggest hobbies are snowboarding and mountainbiking.

I'm usually fairly chilled in the week but love to socialise on the weekends, going for drinks and meals. Love a wine :) I'm clean, tidy and respectful - and ideally I'm looking to live in a house where we are friends, not just room mates.

Hi All, My name is Andy, I have been here in Australia now almost 3 months and mi currently living in a house where no one speaks English and the house is falling apart. I'm looking for a new place where i can get to know people and possibly make new friends/contacts as where i am is very isolating and is not good for anyones state of mind. Hi all ! My name is Nicolas, 26y-o, and I’m really interested in the place you’re offering. About myself, I’ve been in Sydney for almost 3 years now and planning on staying for a while. I just finished my Master Degree in public relations & Advertising at UNSW. I’m currently working full time in hospitality (Messina Gelato) and looking for a job in public relations and advertising for a label, magazine or anything related to the music industry. I’m a positive and respectful person, independent but I like socializing especially with the people I’m living with (sharing a meal from time to time, have a few drinks these kind of things). I play the guitar and I am a big fan of music (mostly through my headphones so I don’t bother anybody). I am chill and open minded, and a decent cook when it comes to it, though I don’t cook all the time. I always clean after myself and respect the common areas. I love going out for coffees, drinks and spending too much money on concert tickets (when I'm free from Messina). I'm usually pretty busy since I've started a couple of businesses with a friend of mine, but I'm always available for a chat. I have experience in sharing a place with people, I travelled a bit and am used to different people, different culture and I am flexible about pretty much everything as long as it is respectful to others (I spent 1 year in San Francisco, 1 year in Dublin, 1 month in Tokyo). I have to leave my house in Rosebery (that I am sharing at the moment with 3 legend Aussie girls) at the end of this month but am pretty flexible with the move in date. If you think I might be a good fit, I’m available for a possible inspection. Looking forward to hearing from you ! Nico
We are a relaxed and easy-going couple. Both of us are working full-time and are looking for a place as we are both just moving to Sydney. Daniel is Australian and lived in Queensland for most his life. Karina is Brazilian and a recent graduate going into her first job. We both like the outdoors and healthy lifestyles.
Hi I'm Rudy :) I'm 25. I'm student in digital and admin assistant part-time. I'm looking for a nice and clean place to live for more than one year. I would like to live with social and nice flatmates. I think the best thing to do is to catch up and see !
Im from Sydney and have lived abroad in China. Work Full-time in Construction Management – 5 days a week. My boyfriend Joe is a steel fixer - he works 5.5 days a week. Home is a sanctuary, looking for like minded, respectful, clean & tidy as well Social Housemate/s who enjoy a good drink on occasion. I am a huge food snob and do rate myself as a fantastic chef - when I can be bothered to cook !! We typically lead a healthy lifestyle – but everything in moderation. Not much fun through the week due to work & on the weekend enjoy the beach / outdoors and anything good food related.
We are both software developers looking to settle in sunny Sydney and came here with skilled permanent residence visas. We love reading, practicing sports (Yoga, Swing dances, Running, Snowboarding) and having a good party from time to time. We play board games as well :)
