Working full time in marketing and studying graphic design, big fan of dogs, sport and having a good time in general. Keen to live with people who enjoy a beer or 17 and a bit of banter.
I would consider myself as a very easy going, clean and friendly person. As long as you're the same we will get along just fine! I have never lived with people who I don't know so for a place to feel like home I would love to be able to enjoy your company, have fun and feel completely comfortable :) I work full time Monday to Friday in Milton so even better if it's near the city too!
Hi, my name is Juul Verschuuren, 20 years old and i am from The Netherlands. I live in Amsterdam and study biology at the University of Amsterdam. I want to follow super awesome biology courses at the University of Queensland for the second semester of 2017 (july). I arrive on the 14th of July. Besides studying i want to travel and meet a lot of lovely people. I like animals, nature, playing the piano, playing the guitar, scubadiving, hiking, windsurfing and surfing. I am so excited to visit Brisbane!
I'm Amelia, I'm 16 and I am studying my diploma of nursing. I'm very clean and organised. I'm looking for a private room. I am open minded and get along well with others :)
Hey! Here's a little bit about Shaye and I: - We are friends - We are both first year female students studying Business (Marketing and Economics) at QUT Gardens Point - We are tidy, we are quiet and just generally very easy to get along with - We both have access to furniture for our spaces - Shaye would need a place to store her little car (Connie the Corolla) - We are on the lookout for a place to move into around July/August - We both love food, fashion and music - Would love to get to know some new people as we both moved from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane this year! Thanks, Andie and Shaye :)
I'm a PhD candidate and sessional academic (doing my research about culinary tourism/social media and marketing). I've lived in a lot of shared houses (both in Brisbane and Glasgow) while Bangkok and Malmö are cities where I spent my childhood. I'm pretty easy to live with but I would say I prefer to keep the house organised and clutter-free (and I love house plants). I mostly cook at home (meal prep sundays - so I dont need to cook everyday)...but as a foodie I often go out to find good places/cafes to chill out and catch up with foodies. Although I love cooking and baking at home, I use electricity wisely so we can save money and help protect the environment :)
Heeey😊 We are two girls looking for a house/apartment to share around the end of June. We both work full time. We're Irish so we like to have a drink or two and have fun but we are also very respectable, clean and responsible. 😀 We're both 23 and are looking for housemates who are preferably females and are around the same age as us. Thankssss!😁
Couple: my girlfriend Monica (33) and me (29) - looking for a 1 bedroom/studio/grann flat in the Brisbane Area. - we are both working. Monica works in hospitality and had her own baking business a while ago, I work as a stagehand. - no neat freaks but clean and tidy...ok, Monica has cleaning OCDs sometimes...haha - Monica studied fine arts, i played in bands for 15 years...but no worries, i´m quiet at home. - one of us smokes
I am a HR Professional and have just accepted a new role at Kelvin Grove, so I am looking to move from Oxley to be a little bit closer to work. On the weekend, I enjoy social activities , along with activities involving the outdoors. In terms of housemates, I am looking for like-minded people (ideally in their mid to late 20's) who are independent, but also would enjoy a having an end of week beer and/or meal from time to time.
We're really easy going love filled people! Both studying at design college in the valley, myself (Josephine) doing graphic design and David studying interior design! I sell retro vintage clothes to make extra money and david works at woolworths ☺ I will be hopefully continuing my barbering apprenticeship also on my days off from college, and with my spare time be spending that with my beautiful cat kasper and puppy Kendrick 🌞 We're very busy people, but love having a few drinks and good times and are super relaxed and easy going!
My name is Jamie and I'm 22, I'm currently living in NSW but will be relocating to Brisbane in mid June for study purposes. I will be studying at Griffith Uni Nathan campus. I'm working full time at the moment and I plan to be working part-time or casual while studying. I like my own space so I won't be in your hair or much of a bother. I'm polite, respectful of others spaces, privacy and lifestyles and I like to keep a clean space. I'm after a furnished room (bed + study desk would be ideal) in a share house though I'm also interested in team ups and unfurnished rooms as I can bring my own bed. A place where I could stay long term (1 or more years) would be preferable. I'd like to have a place close by public transport. I love animals so rooms in a house with pets would be no issue to me but I myself don't have any pets. I also enjoy socializing and wouldn't mind having a chat and hanging out with other flatmates but I'm also fine with keeping to myself if that is preferable. I finish my work in NSW on the 16th of June and will be in Brisbane for some of the following days to look at accomodation.
I am very easy going and love my own space. I am always up for a chat, dinner, drinks etc on the weekends. During the week I'm a bit of a hermit. Mostly just work then home, work then home. I respect common areas and always tidy up after myself, however, my bedroom is my bedroom and will usually end up pretty untidy. I have a 3 year old Chihuahua X Jack russell. He is super friendly loves cuddles and gets along with other dogs fine. Not terrible with cats, just not great. I always pay rent and bills on time. I am really just looking for a stress free environment for me and Charles.
I don't think I spend too much money on avocados and lattes, but that house deposit is just not going to happen. So while I'm stuck in the share house situation, may as well make the most of it. Neat, tidy and happy to help around the house. I'm a journalist full time so my hours are weird, random and long. But that means I come with a free newspaper subscription in actual paper form. Looking for a space in the New Farm, Newstead, Tenerife area preferably in a Queenslander setting with people who are chilled out and good for a yarn and a wine once in a while.
Hi there! I am an independent, full time employed, easy going, social lady looking for semi-private accommodation from city fringes up to 25km from the city. Prefer Northside, but I'll consider anywhere suitable. While a modern, tidy granny flat (not studio) or a self contained place would be ideal, in a share situation having my own living room space would suit me. I can move from 1 July 2017. I prefer spacious accommodation so we're not living on top of each other with a wish list of: - a well-kept home of a house proud person - air con -own bathroom -prefer built in wardrobe - clean and tidy -employed mature housemate -room for own furniture. I like my TV shows to relax in the evening after work, so my own living area to do so is appreciated. I like to chat but also enjoy my solo time and will respect yours. On weekends, I catch up with friends or just get out and about enjoying the good weather and activities around...but I also like being able to relax and chill at home. Hope to hear from you! Thanks!
Hi, we are an enthusiastic couple with a lot to offer a new and beautiful household. We value our responsibilities, maintaining cleanliness and friendliness. We stride to do our own thing, respecting other people's space and their day to day lives. We're quiet and well mannered, motivated and passionate, positive and happy people to be around. We're very organized, enjoying a routine and the potential to achieve a lot with the time we do have spare. Together, we are healthy, adventurous and social people. My partner (Rob) was full time carer for his father until recently, leaving him not a lot time to work or spend on hobbies. Caring being the demanding full time job that it was, Rob shortly shifted his attention towards his father to share the last of his final years by his side. Now Rob's focus is on finding a full time job, continuing his artistic career on the side under a personal ABN (wedding/event photographer/dj). As for myself, I have recently decided to defer my studies at university to undertake full time work within the retail, administrative, legal or real estate industries. Furthermore, we wish to grow within our careers and create a gorgeous little home with a great friend or two. Please feel free to state any rules or guidelines that you may have regarding your home or property and we will assist and follow each to the best of our ability. You are welcome to ask us any questions or chat to us at anytime, we appreciate you for taking the time to get to know us. Amber & Robert x
Hi, I am Mat - a tidy medical student from Germany in my final year. I've got the great chance to do internships in training hospitals in Brisbane as a Trainee Intern at the moment. Therefore I am looking for a favorable room for rent in Greenslopes or around from JULY to SEPTEMBER only. In my spare time I go swimming and taking photos, with focus on people and events. I do enjoy travelling, getting to know new people and cultures. I am always open for a shorter or longer chat =) I am living in a shared house in Germany for five years now. Thus, I am used to share my bathroom with other mates. I do enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, the young community and would be pleased to experience this while my stay in Brisbane, too. If you like what you read and you have a room to offer, I am looking forward to hearing from you and visiting your room for rent, soon!
Aww, what? Writing about myself? Dammit. ok, ok I'm a guy from America who has been in Australia for over 12 years. I have Russian heritage and like to clean my own dishes just after using them. I finished my electrical apprenticeship about 10 months ago , and moved to Brisbane soon after when I fell in love with Zouk partner dancing. I've stayed in the one house the entire time I've been in Brisbane so far. I like meeting people and talking to them. Also having fun and making them laugh ;) My girlfriend stays with me month on, month off and loves attending zouk events. She is learning Russian with me, but she's also working on German while finishing studies.
Hi there! I’m Jason, 29 years old and have been working full time in Brisbane for a year now as a Draftsman. Before that I completed my trade as a Boilermaker. My hobbies are photography, designing loudspeaker systems, listening to music, working out at the gym and hanging out/going on adventures with my friends. I’m generally quiet and keep to myself and understand the need to respect your space when you need it! If you are the kind of person who likes to have a chat about work as soon as you get home, or are more the kind of person who briefly looks up from their laptop and makes a quick grunting noise resembling “hi”, either way is fine with me! I can chat or do my own thing. I am animal friendly, especially cats, so if you have cat(s) that’s a bonus! I like dogs too if they aren’t those little yappy things and the house doesn’t smell like wet dog. If you are in to the healthy eating & active lifestyle that would be awesome, I’m on a fitness streak now and like to meal prep, doing most of my cooking for the week all at once. If you know how to cook and could teach me something other than salmon and rice I would also be very grateful! If fridge space is an issue I have a brand new stainless-steel fridge and microwave I’m happy to share or sell/put in storage if not. In saying that I’m not one to judge- some days I like to eat pizza and vegetate on my computer doing nothing :D I’m a massive audio enthusiast so just a heads up I will need to cram a lot of equipment in to my room which might seem unnecessary- but don’t worry I am always respectful with it and won’t play loud/late at night or get you a noise complaint. If you love music (any kind) or have a vinyl collection we can be friends! I work full time and go to the gym before or after work. If I want to party and have drinks I always go out to friends places so you won’t find me bringing a stampede of drunk mates the house or waking you up in the week. I’m easy with whatever you want to get up to on weekends and in the week I’m asleep by 10-11pm. Keeping the kitchen and bathrooms spotless will be no issue. I’m tidy and enjoy helping out around the house. You won’t find me leaving a pile of greasy, carbon encrusted fry pans left in the sink with a rotting sponge 2 days after I wanted to cook 2 eggs. I can also fix most things when they break! If you want to find out more or think we would get along shoot me a message! - North side of the river only please - I have a car which I will happily park on the street so need at least street parking
We're two dudes originally from Far North Queensland looking to make a life here in Brisbane. I (Leo) have been living in Brisbane for over a year now and am currently bar tending at The Zoo (that's the venue in Fortitude Valley, not the animal prison). Also working at AMF Bowling in Mt. Gravatt which means $3 bowling games for me and 4 friends (chyeah, bowling nights will be a thing). I've just finished a Diploma in Live Sound Engineering SAE Qantm and am looking for full-time work in the field. I'm very easy going, friendly and love to laugh. I'm very much into music, especially vinyl, and love incorporating the sweet sounds of music into my daily life. I (Aidan) have just recently returned from travelling around Europe and am excited to make the move to Brisbane and begin working again. Prior to Europe I was working in the Northern Territory rehabilitating a toxic dump but am taking a fly in/out job in Weipa. I’ve spent a large amount of time in Brisbane (as its relatively close to home) and have decided its time to finally move there. Have a keen interest in music, especially live music, and love attending gigs and finding new tunes. We're both hoping to find a place soon so if anyone is interested in living with two rad dudes hit us up!
I'm currently looking for a place a bit closer to Brisbane. I'm currently working part time. I am quite and I like to keep things neat and tidy but I'm always up for a chat.
My dog is amazing, he's a Rottie x Boxer. I am easy going and up for the quiet and the noisy life. I am tidy. I also like going to watch live gigs, have plans to update my 4WD and am back into fitness.
