Hi there, My partner and I are students at Deakin Uni and looking forward to renting a place of our own. We work part-time and are rather quiet and tidy. Do leave a message if you have any listings that we might be interested in. Cheers!
Hey , My name is Kam and I'm studying at Deakin University , commerce student major in Accounts. Easy-going and caring guy , but bit quite sometimes 😅Big fan of animations, tv series, movies, road trips and gym 🙄😝. Basically I wanna have a great time while im in Melbourne. So most of the weekends I ll be at my mates place for gaming sessions or spending $$$ on clothes or shoes hahah ... I love to keep things organised and clean ! I expect the same from my house mates ;) House chores must be equally divided among the family😜, and please respect each other's privacy and give each other space when ever they need ... Currently sharing a house with three mates in Clayton but looking for a place near Deakin University. P.S.- I'm definitely down for BBQ's , board games, gaming sessions , road trips and night outs;) .. Drop me a message if you are keen to team up with me ;) cheers Kam
Hello! I am a 24-year-old female from San Francisco, CA studying Communications and Media Studies at Swinburne for a semester. I also work part-time and am extremely responsible financially! I am often inspired and a lover of all things creative: dancing, music, graphic design, fine arts, and food! Whether it's a mom and pop shop, hole-in-the-wall eatery, cafe or bar, I love to explore new places (which is why I'm here in Melbourne!). I'm a friendly and considerate roommate and always prefer clean environments where I stay. I would love to discuss further details about a space to stay at during my time in the beautiful city of Melbourne!
My name is Andrew and I just graduated from Melbourne Uni and now get a full-time job working from Mon-Fri and sometimes three days a week. I have learnt erhu, a traditional Chinese instrument, for 3 years since grade 4 and I am planning to learn guitar. I enjoy outdoors and traveling. I'm a quiet, friendly person and neat with good boundaries. I respect others and expect the same. I enjoy cooking by myself when I get spare time.
Hey guys! we have just been accepted to a beautiful 4-5 bedroom two storey house located in wheelers hill. There are 3 of us so far, 2 girls myself and liz, and one guy billy, all super friendly and down to earth. We are on the hunt for some one to fill the 4th room :) I love music and adventure and my sports and fitness. I respect others space but am also keen for hangouts the occasional nights out and would never say no to a beach trip. We are all super clean and wanting to treat this place like a home. If you think you would be a good fit into our little fam hit me up ASAP Thankyou!
I'm an Australian male, originally from South Australia, living in Melbourne permanently for the past two years, with a professional engineering education, and very down to earth. I play video games (console and PC are both cool), boardgames, and tabletop roleplaying, so housemates that understand my interests is a definite plus, but it hasn't really stopped me before. I love to cook, drink, and eat a variety of foods. Historically, I do keep to myself most of the time, but I'm also very adventurous, want to try new things, open up more, and hopefully find housemates who actually are interested in being friends. I'm hoping for a place I can live in the long-term, but I'm also happy to take any accommodation for shorter periods.
Hi, I am Andrew. I am 26 years old working full time as a lighting designer in an international lighting company. I have lived in share houses before in Melbourne and was given the opportunity by my company to live in Hong Kong for a year. Now my company is sending me back to Melbourne in September to work as a global designer. I am aiming to live somewhere close to the station as my office is located in the city. Little bit about me: I am a outdoor person. Don't really like being at home all the time. However when I am at home, i usually watch movies and TV shows. I usually cook my own food as well. I do a lot of outdoor activities like; snowboarding, rock climbing, gym, fishing, camping and go for drives. I am very chill and lay back person and just do my own things but if house mates want to talk, i am always happy to chat. I am looking for a male housemate ranges from 20 to 30 yeas old that is also pretty lay back. Hit me up and we can chat before looking for a place together.
Hi , I am Ankit , recently finished my masters from Perth , Western Australia . I came to Melbourne to work full time and live here for long time . I love Melbourne and love socially drinking . Hey there, I'm Karoliina! I'm an international world traveller currently studying in Melbourne and looking for my next home. I'm looking for nice, laid back people! I generally keep to myself due to working and studying but love a good chat and party. I'm into the outdoors, gymming and spending time with friends on my days off. I'm really outgoing, happy, always smiling and full of energy. Preferably looking for a place under $160 p/w and open to pets (I'm not bringing any myself). Get back to me if you're up for a chat!
I am a trustworthy, kind, understanding person. I take pride in where I live and everything I do. I work a part-time job. I am easy to get along with and I respect property owners and their wishes. I am looking for a temporary place to stay in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs while i arrange for more permanent accommodation.
My name is Zach currently 24yo fully employed landscaper! Have been renting for the past 5 years but now trying to find something new. For a long term accommoadation I'm a very neat clean person and doesn't mind doing that little bit extra to help everyone out! I like to think I am a great cook! Very involved in my football.
We are an easy going British couple from just outside of London. Both looking to work closer to the city in the hospitality business preferably as that's where we have experience. We aren't massive party animals but do enjoy a few beers at the end of the day every now and then. Looking for a room for us to share with a double bed.
Hi Guys My name is Pat. I moved from Sydney to Melbourne in 2014 to pursue academic and career goals. I would describe myself as ambitious yet laidback. Preferred social setting is definitely a café/restaurant, although I do enjoy a sneaky night out once in a while. I currently work split shift 5.00am - 8.00 and 3.00pm - 7.00pm with school in between so I'm normally the first out of the house and first to bed but enjoy to socialise and share a meal. Also fairly clean, like to keep things tidy but by no means a neat freak. If you would like to no more please do not hesitate to ask. Look forward to meeting you Pat
Hello everyone! Name's Amo Chakravarthy, and I'm a 19-year old bloke studying Politics and Public Relations at Deakin University, Burwood. A true ambivert, I'm pretty outgoing in general, however would prefer my alone-time, especially when I'm reading (an avid bibliophile), and making plans to takeover the world (the plans are pretty bad, honestly). I love to watch footy and soccer, binge-watch Netflix (favourites: House of Cards and Narcos), play Monopoly, travel, and most importantly, eat (an absolute foodie). I'm a bit messy, but that's confined to the walls of my room, and wouldn't mind if it's the same with you. Preferable move-in would be the 2nd or 3rd week of February. Maximum number of housemates would ideally be 4, and lease period would be a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of a year. Feel free to hit me up on FB. Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers!
My girlfriend and I are currently living in SE Melbourne. Our lease is expiring on the 6th of March and we are looking to find a Short Term Stay for a month, maybe 2 while we find another place. We would be looking to move in over the weekend of the 4-5th March and are not overly fussed about the location. We are a clean, easy going, friendly couple. We both work full time Monday - Friday. Steph is a Primary School Teacher, and I work in Marketing. We are always up for a chat and a laugh and enjoy meeting new people. If you think that you could help us out please feel free to get in touch. Cheers guys, Brad and Steph
I am easy going, friendly, currently studying the Japanese language. I enjoy going to the gym, playing video games, reading, films and art. I can tend to be quiet or shy but I love funny conversations and going out! Looking for a roommate to find our own place together!
Hi, I'm Bernadetta. I'm here to help my friend Saddam find a nice place, he will move to Melbourne next Saturday on 25th Feb. Both of us travelling here with working holiday visa. Since we will drive from Sydney to Melbourne, it's really important for the house to has a spot for car park. Saddam is very tidy, reserved but really easygoing guy, no smoker, quite a traveller and a barista too. Please don't hesitate to pass by any information, cheers!
Hey Guys, My name is Kelsey, currently studying full time at Latrobe as well as working part-time, I am a relatively outgoing and social person. I love playing sports, but equally love lounging around, binge watching tv on some days too. I absolutely love animals, I don't have pets but if you do, we will most likely get along really well :)
Hello friends, I'm Hannah, 23, inherent geek fluent in dad-jokes. Looking for a relaxed environment with like-minded people. I currently live on the Gold Coast and want to move to Melbourne for the lifestyle and work. I just finished my Masters in Writing, Editing and Publishing and hope to work in a publishing house, but am a killer waitress which I'll pursue while setting myself up. Films and novels are my true loves, but eating and hiking follow closely. If you wanted to hike a mountain before sunrise and follow up the rest of the day with a Tolkien marathon while gorging on raw cookie dough we'll get on famously. I'm a tidy person who looks after themselves and others, I will offer to cook and do laundry if those things are appreciated and reciprocated. I'm always keen for a laugh and hanging out but I relish my own space as well, sometimes the only reminder you'll have of my existence is the cackle echoing from my room. I have a cat named Gregory House (after the tv show). As most cats are, he's grumpy and entitled but I love him more than anything else in the world. He is an indoor cat, toilet trained, has no inclination to damage furniture or belongings, and spends his days lazing around, usually out of sight. I am a very caring person and easy to get along with. I'm also liberal person. I believe in equal rights, marriage equality, freedom of ideals and religions. While I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I don't have space in my life for bigots. I also prefer to be in a drug/smoke free environment. Happy to talk anytime for those interested.
Hi there, Its Azam (Aaaaaa-zam), a simple, tidy and empathetic international student who happens to be a technology and snooker enthusiast, came all the way from Pakistan in order to pursue master's degree majoring in ''Information Systems'' at Deakin's buwood campus. It has been a year now since i got here and recently finished my 2nd semester. Currently i'm on vacations but coming back to Melbourne in the starting on Feb (26th) so will be needing the place by then. I am looking for a ROOM either in a shared house or apartment with friendly, laid-back and tidy housemates but it would be preferable if the place comes furnished and close to Uni. Feel free to contact me and help me find a best and reasonable option. Cheers, Azam
Hi, I'm young and easygoing guy who love to cook. I work mostly during weekday and barely at home in the afternoon. I'm looking a room to share or a room just by itself preferably. If any of you have a vacant room please let me know as I have to move quickly soon .
Hi there, I am looking for an unfurnished room in the Northern, Eastern or inner Eastern suburbs. Ideally, I would prefer to live with only one or two other housemates. I'm quiet, clean, respectful and very easy-going. I work Monday to Friday (days) and keep fairly low-key during the week. On weekends, I like to socialise which may involve going to the movies, a nice restaurant, bar/pub, sporting event or a weekend away. Best of luck in your search. We all need it!! :) Best regards, Joe
Hey! I'm 23 year old guy from Ireland. Recently moved to Melbourne and working full time. I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Always up for hanging out and having a laugh! I've house shared loads before, always clean and tidy up after myself and have previous landlord references and all that jazz.
I work full time, am clean, respectful and private. Only keen to live with one other single person, pref someone that works and gets out and about rather than always being at home. I have some furniture and would ideally also need some storage space (in garage is fine).
Hey Everyone, My name is Amber and I'm fun, clean, easy going and super friendly :) I am looking for a place for at least 12 months, preferably longer. I'm a student at RMIT University in the city, I am also searching for part time employment (I do have a stable income to support my accommodation)
Hi my name is Kenny, I'm a quiet, clean and friendly person to live with. I pride myself in my ability to be able to ingratiate into new places and my ability to make new friends quickly. I have a job, about to commence study next year, and also run a small technology service business. I can cook quite well, not chef level, but i always clean up after myself. For fun, I love to exercise, play games and hang out with friends on the weekends or even if I'm free sometimes after work. I would love to live closer to the city, as I’m currently living on a farm, in a location with a quiet night life. Regards, Kenny R

I am looking for a place closer to my current work and future University placement and job opportunities. I like an equal amount of quiet time and socialising. I am friendly, easy-going and hard-working. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I'm a musician and an entertainer, I like seeing people smile. I'm very easy to get along with and also very career oriented. I've gone back to Uni to secure my place in the music industry with some Business knowledge. My cat is a good boy, he's trained to sit and everything. He's a cool cat!
Hi there, I'm currently looking for a new place to live! I'm 23 and in my last semester of my Psychology and Legal degree, so somewhere close by to La Trobe would be ideal. I work in hospitality most week nights and on the weekends so i'm hardly home. I consider myself a pretty clean person, and enjoy socialising with my housemates. However, i do respect other people's privacy. I like to spend time with my friends and keep fit! Maximum I would be able to spend is 160p/w!
Hi guys my name is Dylan! I work at Mcdonald's. I do work overnights which means that work from 9pm to 8am. I do sleep during the day due to my sleeping pattern, but I am happy to do chores. I enjoy going clubbing and going to the pub. I also enjoy watching the soccer, cricket, UFC and the NBA. My last flatmate and I would go out regularly to pub and the club. I really enjoyed that and hope to chill out with my future flatmates soon! I hope to meet you soon! Kind Regards, Dylan
Hi I'm Paul, I'm a 31 year old professional musician and teacher. I teach a few days a week and perform on the weekends for a living. I'm looking in particular for a place where I could do some saxophone practise during the day. Generally between 9-5 business days, and maybe on occasion a hour or two on the weekends. If that suits you that'd be great! I'm a very laid back person, not really a party animal, and tend to stay home a fair bit. I also enjoy cycling, seeing live music, and catching up with friends. Totes up for a beer and hang in the evenings. Love pets, but don't have any myself, if you have a pet, consider me the fun uncle to that pet...or is that weird...
Hello, We are Sam and Sava. Sava is at RMIT studying engineering. I'm a teacher by day and I tutor a couple of weekday evenings. So we are both quite busy! Hey there! I'm Mithran, a 23 year old med student looking for accommodation close to hospital placement. I'm super social, friendly, and open-minded, and would love to live in a place full of activity and laughter. I'm a big music fan, and also love to cook (especially Sri Lankan food), and most of all I really like making connections with interesting new people. My work hours will vary between placements through the year, but I'm usually working roughly 8-5. I've lived with housemates before, and I know the importance of being respectful and adaptable to your requirements - I don't have many requirements of my own as long as you're fun and friendly, and you don't mind me having friends over to visit occasionally (I promise they're all nice!)
I'm easy going, friendly, reliable. I have a master degree in Microbiology, I have a PR visa since 2015. I will learn 1.5 years full-time at Swinburne University from March/2017. I love all animals, especially cats and dogs. I can sleep with them.
Hi there - I'm Susannah but please call me Susie :) Looking for a place to call home for me and my gorgeous puppy Mooshka! I'm practically a domestic housewife so if you need one contact me ASAP! Very clean, tidy & pretty good company. Very friendly but like us all I do like to keep to myself at times. I do work part time at a bank but I'm also running my own business as well as hanging out and going on adventures with my puppy. So I do keep myself quite busy - I won't be just loafing around the house haha. Feel free to ask any questions :) Honestly, I'm harmless and love baking! And who doesn't love free cake? Ha!
I'm quiet, I clean up after myself, I pay my bills on time, I'm easy going, shadilay, long live kek, I know how to mind my own business, and I don't mess with things that aren't mine.
I'm a Canadian moving to Melbourne for a new job in international development, and I'm looking for a central place with great housemates who are open to hanging out once in a while. Overall, I'm easygoing and tidy, and usually spend my time grabbing a drink with friends, enjoying the arts scene, or playing team sports.
Hey there I'm Kell ! A freelance artist from the hills looking for a place closer to Deakin Uni in Burwood :) You could call me a sociable introvert, I like meeting and talking to new people, but I can go days working on a project without seeing another living creature haha. I'm an artist so I love to paint, which means there'll be a lot of large canvases of art lying around everywhere in the house - if this is a problem I can always keep it in my room ^_^ I'm open minded and am generally cool with anything, I also consider myself to be quite environmentally friendly - greenbags, and not using power when possible is a strong philosophy of mine :) I have a lot of hobbies aside from art; I really like gardening, I can successfully grow yummy fruit n veggies in your backyard! I also love to go on spontaneous camping trips, palmistry, hulahooping, going to gigs, doofing, playing music, exploring and cooking - my forte is Asian dishes and vegetarian curries!
A bit about me; I'm nineteen almost twenty years old, born and raised in Australia, I'm a relax and well minded person with a good heart, easy going, love a good conversation and a bit of banter back and forth. My hours for work is all over the place, some days 3-11pm some 11pm-7am. We might miss each other most days but I'd love to catch up every now and then. I'm a tidy person and enjoy too cook. Apart from work I like too watch tv, catch up on sleep, go for walks, spend time with friends and family. I'm currently in Altona, been here for about 11 years. Feel free to ask me anything! Sunny

Love pets (although I dont have one) and love to make new friends. I am clean, tidy and responsible. I am looking for friendly and down to earth people to team up with :)
Very tidy and self sufficient. I'm used to living alone and taking care of myself, and don't need to be reminded to clean up. I'm mostly pretty quiet and introverted, but enjoy a casual, friendly vibe at home. I'm not currently working, as on disability. I have 2 young indoor-only cats that are very friendly. I don't entertain much, my ideal night is relaxing at home with my cats, eating a pizza and watching a movie.
I mind my own business and generally keep it to myself. Don't really party much. I read a lot and stay upto date with current affairs. I play a lot of sports in general.
Hi, just looking for a room for myself. Easy going guy, drama free. I have no pets, non smoker and I am tidy. I work full time in the CBD in banking and also do a bit of modelling when asked. Ideally looking for a granny flat or a place with my own bathroom.
