Pay all bills on time. Neat & tidy. Quiet, enjoy time to myself, but also enjoy catching up with housemates after work for a drink etc. Work in retail telecommunications, lived in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne most of my life. Love watching my favourite TV shows, reading comics, going to the gym & playing mixed netball.
I'm doing a PhD in physics at the University of Melbourne. Australia is a very generous country so they decided to give me a salary/scholarship, which means that I can always pay my rent and bills in time, without having to rob any Woolies. In my spare time I like to do sports (running, swimming, yoga, soccer etc), annoy people around me playing my guitar, read books and travel as much as I can even if that just means going for on an adventure to the nearby pub. This is my 5th year living abroad in shared houses, before coming to Melbourne I lived in Ireland and Canada, so I am an international expert in the art of sharing a house. I value a lot the relationship with my housemates, so I'm looking for a bunch of people I can feel comfortable with, inside and outside the house, sharing dinners, drinks, lazy afternoons and any random moment life brings about. Luckily I also know how to respect others' privacy so I promise I won't follow you inside the bathroom. Living in a clean house is fundamental for me, so I hereby solemnly commit to put my efforts in keeping the place tidy and neat, and cleaning regularly.
Since I work full-time, have projects and like being out, I'm not in the house too much. Got my cat, Mackerel, who's a brilliant soul and is pretty warm and respectful. Though, I am polyamorous, so future flatmates definitely need to be kind of open-minded and open to discussing things their uncomfortable or happy with. Pretty chill and low key and when I'm home, it's usually for down time, so I'm pretty respectful of space. Just looking for a kind of short term place for a few months -- unless the situation turns out to be great!
We like to stay clean and help out our fellow flatmates and friends on every occasion possible. Prefer to cook at home, preferably vegetarian food, but no fuss. We love music and pretty much all forms of art. We like to paint and do crafty things when the time permits it. Hope to find a cosy room and friendly flatmates to chill with from time to time.
Hi, I'm Bridget! 27 year old full-time Nurse! Bubbly and social, always busy working or at the gym so rarely home. When I'm home, I am quiet and mainly keep to myself. Having said that, I'm always up for a chat or glass of wine occasionally! Non-smoker and lead a fairly active and healthy lifestyle. My two deal breakers are: 1) I'd like my own bathroom/ensuite. I'm happy to pay more and share everything else! 2) Need a some form of carpark! Not phased if it's on/off street or a permit.
Hello! My names Shelby, and I've been living in Perth for the past five years, but I'm originally from the USA. I enjoy getting outside, reading and eating fried food (the best of all the food groups). I'm fairly clean, and work full time in marketing.
Hi there! I'm moving up to Melbourne in the next month or so to study up at Deakin Uni in Burwood. I currently live in Bendigo (central vic) which is about 90 minutes away. I will be a full time student at Deakin, and will be travelling down to Bendigo every second weekend for work (at least until I get sick of doing that, then I'll get a job in Melbourne). I'm looking to live in a shared house with about 2 or 3 other people, and would prefer to live as close to the Burwood area as possible but I don't mind travelling if I find an awesome house. I love socialising & meeting new people, drinking lol, binge watching everything and I have a weird thing about ordering a chicken parma everywhere I eat. Ironically I also like (trying) to keep fit. Also sorry for the awkward photo. The only recent photos I have of me all feature an alcoholic bev in my hand or are a group pic so this photo will have to do. I am happy to live with people either studying or working :)
Hey! friendly gay Irish guy who recently moved to Melbourne. I don't drink, I'm easy to live with and I like to keep a house clean and tidy! I'm friendly and social but like to keep to myself at times also!
Hiya, I'm moving to Melbourne from Perth to come study Interior Design at RMIT Uni. ideally, looking for my own small unit ...partly furnished with white goods would be even better! Will also consider house shares but no room shares. Up to $200pw is what id be looking at spending (ahh the life of a student) I'm 34 years old, so my partying days are quite behind me. Much prefer quiet nights in reading, listening to music- huuuuge music lover...though don't ask me what i listen to because i have a huge range of tastes ranging from ska, rocksteady, Old R&B, rockabilly, to old funky hip hop and old school metal... coming from a family with musicians i was always taught to keep my music tastes open! Love watching documentaries- mainly true crime, paranormal, Nat Geo, and environmental. Drinking tea, health & wellbeing, aromatherapy, cooking, drawing and potting plants makes me happy...but then so does the occasional social drink and going out to a good gig and dinner with friends from time to time. I would consider myself respectful to others ,easy to get along with and very clean and tidy. Though i'am quite a private person, i get along with all walks of life. Also will be looking for a casual job 2 days or 3 nights a week.. Please feel free to get in touch if you'd like to know more.
I'm very neat and tidy (which is the main reason that things are not working out with current housemates, so would prefer someone like-minded). I generally keep to myself but like to interact with housemates to keep things comfortable. I'm very laid back and easy going, working part-time (mainly during the day but occasionally in the afternoon/evenings). I'm a creative type, very musical, enjoy painting/drawing, sewing, etc. I'm relatively new to Melbourne, but have settled in comfortably. Can only commit to accommodation for about 3 months as I like to regularly reassess things.
Hey Guys, I’m moving back to Melbourne after a stint in London and I need somewhere to live! I’m great to live with because I'm a super tidy (I’ve been known to do laundry and mop the floors when drunk) and I’m also an expert at ordering in (in the past 3 months I’ve cooked 5 times), although don’t let that deceive you because I’m still an alright cook. Another great thing is that I’m a ‘social media expert’ well that’s what my colleagues in London called me so I’m always there to help you draft the perfect insta caption. I have my twin brother’s Netflix and Stan accounts (free to use) which honestly is a pretty good deal. I’m pretty easy with where I live as long as it’s central to the city. My goal is to live near/on a tram line because prior to London I was confined to Williamstown… So hit me up if you want some sass in your life because I’ll bring it in bucketloads.
Hello! After living with a group of great friends in Rosanna for a few years, it's time for a change (aka they're moving back in with the 'rents so they can save for a house deposit #millenialcurse). The silver lining here is that I'm taking this opportunity to move closer to work! I work at Melbourne Uni full-time, and will also be studying there part-time next semester. I have a Masters degree in Literature, so will come with a solid (if not eclectic) collection of books and can provide hours of conversation if books/film/tv is your thing. I love gin, makeup, eating food that I don't have to cook, and buying different editions of books I already own because the cover art is pretty. I love my current living situation, so would be keen on replicating that as closely as possible. That means becoming fast friends with my potential housemates (that's you!) and being able to come home to a group of people that I adore. We share food staples (milk, eggs, flour, sugar, etc, etc) and cleaning products, but everything else we keep separate. I think this system works a treat, so ideally my new housemates would agree. I'm looking for 3-4 housemates around my age, who work full-time, and who are as friendly as I am but who also understand the need for quiet/Netflix time every now and again. I love to socialise and hang with friends, but rarely bring the party back to my place, so your sleep is almost guaranteed to be uninterrupted. Having said that my goodness I flipping love house parties so would be totally fine if you wanted to host one on the odd occasion. I've also gotten used to the glorious invention that is a dishwasher, so would be keen on a relatively new place that has schmick, modern ammenities. I'm all for gender balance too! Having grown up in a house full of women, living with men is a genuine novelty for me. If the stars align, our new household will have 2 lovely ladies and two gentlemen occupying it. I'm a cis woman, but I'm also LGBTQI+ friendly (I hope I got the acronym right). I'm not opposed to sharing with a couple, as long as I have another single buddy to keep the balance. For fun I take pole dancing lessons, go to the movies, spend time with friends, and have performed in the odd amateur musical from time to time. You can expect sweet shower-renditions of showtunes if I'm feeling brave. I don't have very much house stuff beyond the furniture in my current bedroom, and I'm keen to avoid having to buy anything, so ideally one or more of my future housies will be able to provide luxury items like a washing machine and a fridge. My current lease is up in early November, so I'd be keen on having a place locked in by mid-late October. Anywhere in/close to Parkville would be amazing - I'm determined to find somewhere walking-distance to work so I can ditch my monthly Myki fee! If any of this sounds appealing to you, get in touch! I'm so excited to welcome a new bunch of awesome people into my life and hope you feel likewise after reading this very long explanation of who I am. Speak soon!

I am a friendly, considerate 20 year old male who is currently working full time in the wealth management division of the Commonwealth Bank. I have been living out of home for a year and a half now and have had no issues with bill or rent payments of any kind. I am very clean and tidy (I always clean my dishes as soon as I've finished cooking) and I am looking for a friendly household to live in for the next 6 months-1 year. I enjoy surfing, reading, watching movies, exercise, listening to and playing music (I have an electric piano and wear headphones when I play so there aren't any noise problems). I also enjoy going out on the weekends and occasionally having friends over.
Hello - I'm Catriona, 27 yo, Female, working full-time near the airport (never know what to write in these things!)... I like to think myself as a social go getter. Yet at the same time, I am also happy to do my own thing. I work full time, which means I usually like to kick back during the week. However, I am also partial to impromptu BBQ's and a cheeky wine every now and then. I also have great fun trying to convince myself that I'm a health enthusiast; enjoy running... My current housemate is sadly looking to move a little too far for my work commute. So sadly, this means that we will need to part ways. Keen to find somewhere close to the Thornbury area (I just love it). Would be happy to do a team up, or come and check out a space. I come with a few house hold items, though not much. A hammock, and a BBQ - because, really, what else do you need? Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi guys! I come with two very adorable animals! A staghound named Obi who loves daily walks and lots of cuddles, and a gorgeous kitty named Snookie who never bites or scratches - they are perfect :) I also come with a piano and other furniture that I would love to share with my housemates! I work as a teacher so paying rent won't be an issue; neither will paying bills. Always happy to have a chat but I also love to read and do other quiet activities. Not even close to being labelled a party animal, but I definitely love social outings to the movies, theatre and live music concerts. It would be fantastic if I could come and check out your place, or join with someone to lease a place. Hope to hear from you soon! Bethany

Hello! I'm relocating from Perth to Melbourne in August. I'm a mature, tidy, respectful housemate that gets along with people of all age groups, and walks of life. I'm a creative type that loves making art, photography, reading, live music, and watching kitschy b-grade films. My ideal home would be a safe place with a private room (preferably with enough space on the floor to do yoga), relatively close to public transport, with friendly people that like to have a laugh. I would like to stay for at least six months if possible. Sadly I don't have any pets of my own, but I adore animals (especially cats!). I'm looking forward to calling your beautiful city my home, and to meeting you!
