Hey I'm Gel! I work full time as a training manager and store manager at a store called glassons on chapel st! This is a womens fashion store, i have a plethora of clothes so if you ever need something to wear on the weekend hit me up haha. I work 40-50 hours a week tuesday-saturdays. During my work week i take it pretty easy, On the weekends i am usually out with friends. Otherwise I love to have a drink at home and hang out. I also love to cook and spend a bit of time in the kitchen :) I have a passion for plants, food, music, sewing and my work! I'm a pretty social person and can get along with everyone! I also like my alone time and am very respectful of Others. I moved out of home a few years ago so I have experience living with others :) I am looking for a medium-large private room, if it has robes that would be awesome but not essential, just room for a rack and cupboards. I have all my own furniture, i also have a washing machine if needed, and other furniture if needed at the house (including a grouse couch). I have listed st kilda/prahran area for work, but also carlton/fitzroy because i love this area and know it well. My move date is flexible, I am looking to move out end of october but can move a bit earlier then that and also up until the end of november if required. I am really looking forward to hearing from you! If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact me :) Thanks!
Hi, I'm Monica. I'm in my late 30's and work full-time. I'm tidy, clean and respectful of other's privacy. I see my home as a sanctuary to relax in and hope my flatmate has a similar outlook. As for hobbies, I enjoy doing zumba, seeing friends, watching movies and reading anything (books, magazines and now my Kindle!). As for a flatmate, I'm looking for someone who is clean, tidy, respectful and friendly. Good communication is essential. I enjoy a friendly chat now and then but can be very quiet at home and will often be chilling out in my room. If you think we would be a good match, feel free to contact me.
Canadian guy, just graduated from university, taking some time to refresh in Aus! Love to meet new people, total social butterfly. Looking for people to share a space with who don't mind screaming the lyrics to Fergalicious, exploring the city, and going out to dance! I'm a very respectful individual, and super open-minded. Love being outdoors hiking/biking/adventuring, and have an equal love for both going out for a social drink and staying in and binge-watching trash TV shows. I'll be moving to Melbourne alone, and without knowing anyone there, so i'm hoping to match up with some housemates that will quickly become family, and ease the home sickness thats bound to come around Christmas time :) All-in-all, I would like to think i'm pretty easy to live with. I'm a total neat freak, and I can bake some mean chocolate chip cookies! Hit me up if you're looking someone to laugh your days away with Down Under :)
Originally from New Zealand I have just moved to Melbourne and am looking for a room in a friendly and relaxed share house. I have several friends living in Melbourne already, I am social and outgoing, love a chill vibe at home but enjoy a few wines on the weekend. I love meeting new people and would be great to meet flatmates who can become friends! I have spent the last year living in New York working in the fashion industry, I am clean and pet friendly.
Hi there, I am an international student from Singapore, studying naturopathy in Fitzroy and works as a dental assistant in Mulgrave. I am neat and tidy, who has the 'clean as you go' habits. Hope I can find a suitable place for my 20 months stay in Melbourne.
I'm a singer/actor from Perth and just moved to Melbourne a couple of days ago. I'm fun, easy going and friendly. I love singing, acting, watching movies, netflix, travelling, and hanging out with friends. Hoping to find a place close to the city.
I'm 24 years old and currently at rmit full time studying a diploma of writing and editing. What makes me an ideal flat mate is: I'm cordial, respectful, hygienic, diligent and reliable, I love to socialise and also enjoy my solitude. I love to cook, and I always clean up after myself. I usually go with the flow when it comes to having fun, but often I'd go out with mates or check out a gig.
Hi folks, This is a Spaniard, who has been living in Melbourne for four years, looking for a new place to call home. During the last two years, I am living in the CBD, however, I´m missing the inner suburbs of this beautiful city so, I have decided to enjoy the city just during work-time. The majority of my time is spent on work (marketing and consulting) and University (MBA & PM). In my free time, I love to keep me fit and socializing. At home, extremely clean and respectful. When I have time, I love to enjoy outdoors (unfortunately no too much time at the moment but summer is just coming up) More than happy sharing nice dinners or drinks with you all and, why of course, exchange some yummy food & cocktails recipes. Seeking for a friendly atmosphere and a nice place for living. Really easy-going person.
I'm working full time in financial planning, work a 9 - 5 so am preety chilled during the week. Love sports and staying active, snowboarding in winter and the beach in summer. Enjoy a drink and a night out but nothing too crazy these days. I've lived in share houses before so get how it works and am respectful of personal space and know when to be quiet. Would like to find house mates that become friends and love a laugh. Originally from Melbourne, currently out in the burbs and wanna move closer to work.
Easy to get along with, down to go out to a bar for some cold ones or see a band. Melbourne born and raised but I love to travel and experience other cultures and meet new people! Currently working as a Registered Nurse in Melbourne and loving it! Very accepting of other people's need for space and respect and working full time so reliable with bills and rent.
Hi there!. I am a final year medical student, currently studying in Malaysia. I would be travelling to Melbourne, on the 28th of October, for a short-stay of about 7 weeks for my Medical Electives at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I am looking to rent a private room for $200pw (bills inclusive, but flexible). I am neat, love travelling, meeting new people, and also enjoy some me time.
Hey I'm Nicole. I run a small business doing face painting, balloon twisting and make-up. As I've been in the industry for 7 years, and given the high pay rate, I make the equivalent of full time salary doing this work and have consistently supported myself and lived very comfortably doing this. I also have a degree in psychology and neuroscience, a sociable and toilet-trained bunny, and enjoy music.
LOOKING AGAIN! Last place fell through! I'm reliable, tidy, friendly, can cook (not a masterchef tho!) & pay my bills on time. I'm willing to pull my weight with the cleaning & am respectful of others needs & privacy. I'm a Kindergarten teacher and do agency work within northern & western suburbs. In my spare time I like to catch up with friends, go shopping, go to the movies, go to markets or visit family in country victoria. I need some storage space for work books & resources- even if at the back of a garage
I’m Sam (27) and have just moved over to Melbourne for minimum 3 months potentially longer, with work (usually based in London) and I’m working in the CBD. Currently staying in an air bnb in abbotsford till Tuesday. So can move in pretty quick if that helps. I’m sociable and like to hangout and go to the pub, though I’m more than happy in my own space. I like to stay active and am at the gym 4-5 times a week. I’m clean around the house and I’ve lived in a lot of different house shares in a number of countries before this and would like to think I’d make a good housemate for most people :)
Hi, I am relocating from Sydney to Melbourne for work and looking for a nice furnished room for myself. I am working full time in finance and would appreciate sharing an apartment/house with full-time professional(-s) as well. Apart from work, I am doing gym, reading/watching and hanging out with friends. Team-ups are more than welcome for me :) Let me know if any questions, Anna
My name is Vanessa, I'm an Spanish girl that I'm going to be studying english in Melbourne for a next 9 months. I'm a clean person looking a place to stay, I like to share time with people so if you are looking for a friend besides a flatmate I'm your person.
Young Brit just moved to Melbourne from Vietnam (where I stayed for 3 months and did a yoga teacher training course and a little partying). Ready to settle and find a job in healthcare preferably/teaching yoga on the side. I graduated in biomed last year so I'm here for a anywhere between 6 months to 2 years before going back to the UK to study medicine. Looking for laidback housemates with a sense of humour!
Hi I'm Lockie, I'm 24 and I work full time as an electrician based mostly in the city/airport. I work pretty normal hours, typically starting around 7-8am and finishing around 3pm. But don't worry I'm really quiet when leaving the house. During the week I usually like to chill at home. Nerdier than you might expect. Nights at home are usually spent watching some sort of Sci Fi/TV, games or reading. That being said, doesn't take much to convince me to join mid week drinks/dinner. I do try and visit the gym enough to justify the cost of it as well so I can be out of the house a bit at times. Weekends are spent usually out with friends either going to bars or just hanging out. With the weather clearing up a bit I do like to get outdoors a bit and have an itch to start exploring more, whether that be going for a road trip, hike or camping. Pet friendly, especially with cats. Sadly the furry one in my profile picture won't be joining me. I do love music so I'll often be caught with my headphones in or playing tunes through speakers but I do respect noise levels. Always up for listening to new stuff with housemates. I do my best to keep a clean house, consequence of being raised by two massive clean freaks. That being said I'm not gonna be starting a war over some dirty dishes. I'm also happy to help around the house where I can and make it feel like more of a home. I pay all my bills/rent on time and keep track of my finances pretty well so rent money doesn't become an issue. Lastly, I do have a lot of respect for people's privacy and giving them the space they need in the house. I also believe that good communication is key to thriving so don't be afraid to bring up any problems/issues with me. End of the day, I'd like for us to be friends, not just roommates.
Born in rural South Australia. Raised and educated in Melbourne. Always loved to travel; parts of Asia, Europe and Northern U.S. over the past 15 years. Travelled Africa for 2.5 years since then. A lot of life experience lived. I am good at respecting other peoples' space. I do my best to keep a pretty low profile, and not be a bother to other people.
Hi, I’m Anjana, 25 years and a new PhD student. Currently, I work as a Software Engineer. I like cooking and in the weekends/evenings I often try out new foods. I’m the kind of guy who enjoys a chat over a cup of tea/coffee or glass of wine; Yeah, I love to taste different kinds of wines 😊 . So, I’m more of an extrovert and also respect others’ privacy as well. Also, I'm an easy going, adaptable and an open minded person.
