G'day! I'm an easygoing, mid-20’s Swede who’s all about Melbourne and the Aussie culture. I work at the new Woolies in North Melbourne, and as I'm in the deli I know how to keep things tidy and clean up any mess. I keep my stuff organised and I don't need a lot of space or make any fuzz. I like to stay active; I play ultimate frisbee (no, not the one with the baskets!) and work out with a team a few times a week. I'm not the biggest of sports fanatics, but I’m definitely developing an interest for footy and the local sports culture (yeah the Tiges!). In my off time I enjoy chilling on the laptop and perhaps an occasional froff or two. At the moment I live in a flatshare in Caulfield, but I'm looking into moving closer to the city. Preferrably in or around Richmond. You can reach me here or on 0490822526. Please give me a shout and also let me know if there's anything else that you need to know. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! :)
I've just landed in Melbourne from the UK. Working full-time in web design in Collingwood (sponsored visa so I won't be disappearing any time soon) I work long hours during the week and may be invisible some days. Always up for an adventure at the weekend though and have a long list of things I need to do in this country.
Hello, hello, I’m Khiarna! Currently 19. I am in the middle of my second gap year (sorry, mum) and looking to go back to study my bachelor of physiotherapy in 2020. I am therefore looking to move closer into the city, as I don’t fancy 3+ hours of public transport a day. About me personally, I am pretty quiet and chill. I am quite shy so might take a bit to get used to a new environment. I like to keep to myself but I would love flatmates who are open to engaging and becoming friends as well, as I don’t think I could handle the nerves of never chatting. I love sport; tennis and cricket, but NRL is my main. During the season, I watch every game (just a heads up). I love animals, dogs preferably, so I am definitely dog friendly. I do however love my family, and will probably miss them a tonne. So most weekends I will probably be back at home visiting the fam. Negatives: Due to physio having so much contact time, and looking at moving, I have resigned my job. Therefore I will be a student on Centrelink payments as well as my own savings. I will be actively looking for a part time job, however, I can’t say how long it will be till I get one. I would love an apartment/house with between one to three roommates, 1-2 being ideal. I can afford approximately $200 a week (could stretch if need be, but not ideal). Stretching up to about $220 if bills inclusive and there’s a gym 😜 Searching for somewhere for about $180- if at all possible. Sorry for the novel, but I prefer to be out there and honest from the start. Please don’t hesitate to ask me anything else you may want to know :) Cheers
Hello people! I'm arriving from Auckland, New Zealand on May the 7th and will initially be staying in Collingwood. I have put down 6 months but am open to longer with the right fit :) You could classify me as an ambivert as I definitely love to have a good laugh and connect with others as well as having my own "Jen" time. I'm very easy going in nature, yet I still like to maintain a clean environment. I enjoy connecting with people from various backgrounds and getting out to experience new places. I'm a music, coffee and food lover, so Melbourne will be a great fit for me! I have been working as a Support Worker for a Mental Health organisation for the last three years. I have recently completed the qualifications for this position so I am now ready to take my experience over to Melbourne and start a new journey. Don't hesitate to contact with any further questions :)
Hi my name is Sangkyu I'm here in Sydney on a working holiday. I'm Korean and looking for housemates who speak either English or Korean or both as I'd like to improve my English skills and feel i can do this best when conversing with English speakers. I am a clean and tidy person. I like to keep the house and my room clean. I clean up after myself when I finish cooking. I'm friendly and approachable. I hope to hear from you soon.
Hi, this is Venkatesh. I am currently studying my Masters in IT at Latrobe uni. Looking for a ideal and neat place to shift by May 2019.
We have been the head tenants in our current flat and previous flat so know the importance of keeping a house tidy and ensuring the bills are paid on time. I have been offered a one year contract role in Melbourne working full time as a Management Accountant, and my partner will be looking for work once we move over. We currently live in Wellington, New Zealand. My partner is a gamer, so we will definitely need good internet! I am studying for my Chartered Accountant qualification which takes up most of my spare time. We will be using the move as an opportunity to explore Australia!
A recent graduate who works part-time as a salad artist until she finds a full-time job. A senior but not expensive housemate, featuring: • 5+ years experience in house-sharing • Always clean, respectful and responsible • Above-average friendliness • Hosted 1 garage sale, 3 birthday surprises and 2 welcome parties for the housemates • Owns a 50" television, a wireless printer, a bike, 2 frisbees and a ukulele • Fluent in English and Mandarin (I'm from Taiwan) • Loves to talk about politics • Not a party animal but enjoys dancing in an appropriate environment • Overall, a very likeable young woman Looking for a sociable and mature (everyone cleans after themselves and refills the toilet paper) house/flat, preferably with lots of natural light as I enjoy reading during the day when I'm not working. I also like to stay in the living room and greet the housemates so I hope my future housemates are comfortable with that.
Hello I’m Yuka. I’ll move to Melbourne on 30 May and start working there. I love yoga, cooking, baking, workout and eating. I’ve shared flat with flat ate over five years so I know how to treat a house. I’m tidy and neat and like spending time with flat mate.
Hey! I am self employed (own an online business) based in Collingwood. (Work does take a lot of my life right now). I love keeping fit and having a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy the social drink/travel/weekend getaways etc...I like being friends with my housemates (but also like doing my own thing at times.) My parents live in Country Victoria, so I try to go home where possible.
I'm friendly, sociable, and fully house trained as I have been sharing for years. Looking for some like-minded flatmates who want to hang out but also respect that we're all busy. I work in hospitality and study on the side, so I'm busy, but also love coffee, wine, dogs, plants, going out to gigs and re-runs of Gilmore Girls!
We are a chill, outgoing couple but also respect privacy if prefered. I’m originally from Austria, have just finished my Master’s degree at QUT and am working in Brisbane now. My partner is Aussi and works in IT. We love dancing and playing tennis and are open to be introduced into new hobbies. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions! Cheers
Hi my name is Sue (23) i work as a shift worker in the health care industry & on my days off I enjoy catching up with friends or catching up on my favourite Netflix series. I also like to keep my space clean and tidy all the time . I am looking for a room close to the city , flexible on furniture and preferably with aircon and with my own bathroom. feel free to send me a text or an inbox :)
I'm a pretty funny and chilled out kind of person. I mainly mind my own business but I don't want to be a stranger! I'm currently studying film and also work in the film/broadcast industry. My main occupation other than studying is doing local sports coverage as a camera operator but am also in the works of starting a broadcasting business. My main hobbies include casual games, almost anything film related, and just generally hanging out with friends. (Don't worry, I'm not the party type, more of a chill out and watch a movie, maybe some card games here and there). I'm looking for a place where the people are the main selling point. Just some nice, fun people to get along with. Something near public transport is a must because I do go to the city a lot but otherwise pretty flexible as I have all my own bedroom furniture and even my own TV which we can share :)
So a lil about me- i love keeping busy/active ranging from playing sport (netballer, yogi and f45- i promise i won’t talk about f45 too much lol) I’m a massive foodie and coffee snob and would love roomies who also want to try conquer every cafe in around the richmond area. I also love couch chills with a good book and netflix binges. Im addicted to reality tv (guilty pleasure is Geordie shore lol) I love travelling and do a lot of it! i enjoy cooking- I’m no masterchef but I wont give you food poisoning...well hopefully wont haha (and i will do my dishes afterwards) I’ve done share housing before I’m looking for house mates that will become buddies as well. Any further questions, just ask away!
I teach yoga and give really good hugs :) 10/10, would recommend. I love to sing and dance, go for beach walks and just generally love being in nature. I'm pretty tidy, I care about the environment & am a minimalist. I'm looking for a share house of like-minded people to begin my adventure with. Very open-minded about length of stay... I like to go with the flow. If I find a place I'm loving and it works, I'm open to staying indefinitely. Peace and love.
