Looking for a place starting mid-January! I'm moving from California to start a PhD at Griffith Uni (studying coral reefs). I'm social but respectful of space, clean, and pretty easy to live with. I like to cook and usually enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine or a beer during the evenings. I like exploring new places and enjoy all things outdoors (weekend hiking is my favorite!). I'm hoping to find a place with accessible public transportation to get around (especially to the university) until I get a car. Ideally, I'd want a furnished room but not a deal breaker. No preference on male/female housemates but prefer similar age group. If it seems like I'd be a good fit to your place/household, don't hesitate to contact me!
Hi I'm Haidee Leigh I'm a young working professional working at Griffith University. I am looking for my own private space with a secure car space close to work, or a shortwalk to the bus way. I'm very clean and respectful like my own space, so I respect your privacy too. I do love a laugh and a chat too, I love hiking and road trips on the weekends to enjoy my days off work.
I am an easy going and clean person to live with. Happy to have my own space or socialized. I understand that after a long day at work you might want to be left alone. I work full time, non smoker and enjoy an occasional drink or two. Looking to get somewhere to move in mid January. The budget is negotiable depending on the location and also if I could have a covered parking for my car. I wouldn't mind an unfurnished or furnished place as I have items in storage that I could use if the place is unfurnished or I am more than willing to bring in some furniture or appliance from my storage if required.
I'm quiet, respectable, single, outgoing, I was bourn in Sydney and of Fijian decent, brought up the treditional island way, I have a big heart and always help others, I am told I'm too kind. I am clean, I'm a Diesel Technition and quals that range from the auto industry to Business/ Accounting. Great with kids, don't have any of my own tho. I do smile from time to time lol. Good with my hands and can fix just about anything, love challenges. Great listener and keen for a chat. Love music and a bit of a Dj too. You can contact me looking forward to what comes next :)

I am very tidy and respectful. I love animals, health, computers and having fun! I currently live with my 2 aunties and only just moved to Brisbane in July.
I am from India, about to start my Masters in Finance at Griffith. 24 years old, love sports. I am pretty laid back, fun loving too. i need my surroundings to be clean and preferably quite. Wanna judge me? Go ahead - Manchester United fan(not the douchey kind :p ) who loves football on the whole amongst other sports, Favourite band - The Beatles, open to all kinds of music but classic rock takes 1st place. Kinda shy, especially if you're pretty. *wink*(not for you men out there..lol) ..Favourite food- Pizza(pizza is life, pizza is love), Favourite movie- Dark Knight. Last but not the least- Favourite women- Amber Heard :p ...... Wanna hear a joke? In Winnie The Pooh, why did Piglett make Tiger look down the toilet???? To find POOH!(duh *drops mic*)
I am tidy, respectful, and easy to get along with. I go out on most weekends and chill with my mates sometimes have a drink. I usually stick to myself but don't mind a chat. During the week I have work from 6-2 and sometimes on the weekends so I'm busy most of the time.
I'm a communications professional currently working in the city, looking for a self-contained place for myself and my mature and very timid cat, so a pet friendly granny flat or studio with a sunny windowsill would be perfect. I'm currently in the process of selling my 3 bedroom house in Sunnybank Hills, and hoping to rent for a year or two while I focus on career. The house is expected to sell very quickly, however I will keep any prospective landlord in the loop. I have lived happily on my own for the last several years, and rarely have friends over, preferring instead to go out, as I do love my privacy. Having said that, I highly value good neighbours. I adore gardening, and will find this the biggest challenge as I downsize (happy to help out with yours or point me towards a community garden). I have been a landlord on flatmates.com and been contacted by many people with no profile details, references, or comprehensive explanation of what they are looking for or why my property suits them - so I invite you to ask me as much as you need to know to ensure we are going to be a good fit. My cat comes with vet reports (medical and behavioural) and I can organise references from pet sitters and catteries. As I have been a homeowner for the last 10 years please let me know what kind of references you expect from me.
At this time I have found a place. I am just sorting out details. I'm a quiet person who likes puzzles, reading and studying. I'm a huge pop culture nerd. I am a person who loves to hang out with friends and I make friends quickly so feel free to hang out with me or if you are a person who likes company (parties or chill outs) I'm cool. I'm a full time student and a part-time nanny.
Neat and tidy individual, very easy going, affable. I like to do severe work, have a chat and also keep to myself - a social all rounder. I always buy cheese, olives, prosciutto, sourdough bread, etc. so if you like antipasto type food, we'll definitely be friends. Have my own furniture if needed, otherwise, I don't mind if the place is furnished. Cheers
Hello, everyone! I am a 32 years old Brazilian studying International Trade and currently working at a Mantra hotel. I am preferably looking for a private room with easy access to the city, as I study on Adelaide St. I am a very quiet and tidy person, that likes to cook my own meals, listen to music and read. :) Please, be in touch if you think you can help me. Thanks!
Hi there, I am looking to rent a place to call home with one other clean and tidy person. I have two cute indoor kittens so you would have to be okay with curious little faces everywhere :) I work full time. Happy to live with students or workers. My party days are over but super happy to socialise with guests. I am not in rush as I want to find the right people/place but would like to move before Christmas. Budget can be flexible.. Would love to hear from you :)
Hello! My name is Maurice. I am a 42 year old professional (software engineer and business owner), looking for share accommodation either close to the city, or on the southside (near Sunnybank/Eight Mile Plains). I am quiet, tidy, and very respectful of other people's ways. I do like to socialise, and I'm always up for a meal and a chat if you want. At times, though, I can be quite busy (with work and family). If you're looking for someone to party with every night, I am not the person for you. I am a light social drinker, have never done drugs, and I am looking for a house that is completely smoke free. I try to live a healthy lifestyle (I do ashtanga yoga twice a week), and I'm a bit of a foodie (I'll be bring a sous vide machine with me). Having said that, I currently live near Sunnybank and there's a lot of great restaurants around here!
Moving south from Bundy. My work is in construction administration, working at Springwood. I am quiet and tidy, and get on well with most people. I enjoy good beer, and good company. Young at heart and get on with most people. Hoping to find a home that has easy going housemates. note that 6 months term selected was just to satisfy the listing. Term could be more or less as required. my age is 40+ :)
Hi there! I'm a bubbly and friendly 19 year old Aussie girl looking to move out of home. I currently work part time but am looking for a full time job to start asap. I'm tidy and quiet but would love to be able to have my boyfriend stay over occasionally. I don't smoke and i barely drink.
My husband Matthew and I are a young couple who love travelling the world. We're pretty easy-going and quiet and like to keep things clean and tidy in our living spaces. We have a gorgeous Siberian cat named Belle, so our ideal future flatmate has to be able to tolerate animals!
Shalom! My name is Chevy, I'm a 19 year old author, blogger and columnist! I am looking for a cool guy or gal to stay with in or around the city from January onwards in order to look for part/full time work. I can teach you Hebrew phrases and cook you Kebabs. We can be partners, conspirators. We will plot our takeover. It will be just like in the movies. I've grown up in the suburbs and also in the sticks - I lived in a small rural town, in fact so small it can no longer even be found on maps, and attended a school with only twelve or so other students (what?). Shortly after moving to the suburbs, the school closed down and the town was virtually abandoned. I grew up in Upper Caboolture for about eight years before moving West to Kilcoy, where I have been for the last six or so years. In my spare time I am a blogger and a collumnist, and I am about to publish a non-ficton book on the changing dynamic of power in the Middle East. At the same time I play Minecraft and my eating habits are ridiculous, so I am still quite the typical teenager. Just a little different. Let's you and I get in contact!
Hi guys, Im looking for a place with one or two others, that I can have a laugh with and the occasional beverage or two. I would prefer people that are easy going and I could hopefully become friends with, rather than people that keep entirely to themselves or sit in their bedroom all day.
Hello, my name is Alex. I currently live in Logan but have taken a new job in Eagle farm. My girlfriend lives in morayfield. I am looking for a share house between my work and my girlfriends house. I have a bit of furniture, queen bed, 2 bedside tables and tall boy as well as a narrow bookshelf and large corner desk. I'm looking for a room to accommodate that furniture but am happy to have my desk outside of my room. If you feel your place may suit me feel free to contact me via text or pm.
Hey! Anyone going away for the summer and wanting to rent out their room temporarily? I'm only looking for 1-2 months, will respect all your things and can pay for the whole duration up front. Thanks :)
Student- friendly, honest and always quite. Been moving to many places and had met great people. Looking for a place close to transportation to the city to go to uni and shops close by.
Hello! I'm looking for a room to rent while I continue my study at Griffith Uni. I'm someone who enjoys having a chat in the kitchen, perhaps with a glass of wine so I want to move in with people I will get along with. I also enjoy my time alone so I am big on respecting each others spaces so don't worry about that :) I'm a tidy and relatively quiet person and I enjoy to bake occasionally. I do spend some time out of the house usually on weekends at my boyfriends place so I won't be home all the time. Mostly just looking for a household I can live comfortably in while I continue my university career :)
Currently working full time in the Brisbane city as a graduate accountant. Seeking to find a room/team up with someone to get an apartment near the city or I also don't mind living on the south side (Sunnybank/Garden city area). I am generally out of the house throughout the week, but if I am at home I would be playing PS4, cooking or chilling with friends. Other preferences: Car space, nearby gym Also I am flexible on move dates
Professional male, working in the Brisbane CBD. Friendly, social type. I keep my space tidy and enjoy others who do the same. Often out of an evening, when I'm at home enjoy a game or some Netflix, or heading to the gym. Ideally looking at a 6-12 month stay. Feel free to contact me if you would like to know more!
Hey guys! My partner, dog and I are planning to move out and we would love someone to move in with us. About us: G'day, my name is Penny Higginbotham, I am a 23 year old female and am studying a bachelor of international tourism and hotel management. I play a lot of volleyball (indoor and beach) and I also reff and coach indoor volleyball. I also work part time as a kids swimming instructor. I have a beautiful 3 year old malamute cross german shepard called Mishka, she is absolutely amazing and she was originally acquired as an emotional support animal. I am in a long term relationship with Lachlan who is a 19 year old male. Lachlan is currently undertaking math components at university in order to study an engineering course. Lachy is currently seeking employment, he loves a good gaming session and he may be 19 but he has a soul of a 60 year old. We promise to never make you feel like a third wheel, we behave a lot more like mates than a couple. We are currently looking at places in the suburbs listed. Some of our prerequisits are: House related: Must be less than 20 minute drive to Griffith's Nathan campus Must have 3 bedrooms (of course) Must have 2 bathrooms (can be 1 bathroom + ensuite) Penny requires the master bedroom in order to fit her king size bed and Mishka Must be fully fenced People related: We're not able to live with anyone who smokes (cigarettes and other) We're not able to live with anyone who partakes in any other form of drugs Must be ok with Penny not wearing pants around the house (I promise to always wear undies though) Some of our preferences are: Built in wardrobes in rooms Males to move in with us (it's fine if you're a female, as long as you're ok with me not wearing pants 95% of the time - I always wear briefs though!) No other pets (Mishka does get along with other animals but it is preferable that she is the only animal) Basically we want to live in a house that isn't gross, that's fair right? I've got a number of house inspections booked during this week, if you are interested, please message me and you're more than welcome to come along. Also message me if you would like to meet either myself or myself and lachlan or even myself, lachlan and mishka. Looking forward to hearing from you! Penny
I am a very clean and tidy person, Vietnamese born in Australia, I work full time Mon-Sat 10 hours a day except for my one rostered day off a week, I look after myself cooking and cleaning after myself. But I'm happy to share work load, which is what i do with my current roommates. I don't do much at night since I get home so late I only have a few hours before I need to go to bed, I am into my cars, and occasionally do a little work on them, but I'm very respectful of others curfews and privacy. I currently don't have my pup with me, he is still only a few weeks old and still needs to be with his mum, I have trained dogs before, eventually becoming toilet trained, not allowed on furniture and certain rooms and walking without a leash.
I am sociable, clean, outgoing, love travelling and animals (I don't have any, but happy to leave with them). I am rarely home as I work long hours during the week and spend most of the weekends out. I have recently sold my house and am looking to flat with some cool people before I make my next step (so maximum time flatting would probably be 6 months). I am preferably after a flatshare (no room shares) and would like a separate bathroom.
Caleb here, Im starting an Electrical Apprenticeship and need to relocate from Perth to Brisbane for 4 months for training. So during the week I'll be mainly occupied by study and going to the gym. On the weekends I'll be out exploring to see what Brisbane has to offer, whether it be the nightlife or the beaches etc... In Perth, I currently share an apartment with 1 other person and don't mind cooking and cleaning for the both of us. Very low maintenance and considerate towards my flatmates.
Please note I am looking anywhere in Brisbane (NORTHSIDE OF BRISBANE) Im a 24 year old male that looking for room to rent or a granny flat I have full time work (and shift work) Im clean/tidy Hard working I am a friendly outgoing person thats always up to have fun I dont smoke but i do drink socially sometimes So please contact me if you can help thanks heaps in advance Please also consider I have a 1yr old that I share and look after and would love to have a spot to cater for him so he can come and visit and play safely. I said no children because I don't have 100% care of him but I do look after him 3-4 nights week while she works and he has had to stay a night. I need to find a place asap
I'm in my final stages of my Engineering degree, looking for a place to move out to. I've lived in Brisbane most of my life, so know my way around, and I seem to enjoy reading and gaming (the non-gambling variety). I am a bit of an introvert, but generally get along with most people.
I'm a graduate Linguist working Part-time the in CBD who is returning to full-time uni once again! I'm a great cook, love the gym, vegan, musician and an overall chilled out person. I'm happy to live with singles, couples, kids, pets, smokers [though I am not one], everyone and everyone as long as we all get along!
Currently living in the Redlands and looking for a change in scenery. I'm Hoping to find a good roommate or group of people who are fun to be around, fairly tidy and don't mind a drink or two on the weekends. I work full time throughout the week and leave early in the morning. Im clean and tidy and although I like to hang out and chat with the people in my household, I know when to give each their own space. If you don't mind the house being filled with good tunes and inside jokes then send us a message.
Melbourne girl relocating to Brisbane for uni in feb. I like me beer dark, my coffee black and my gin with a splash of tonic. Chandler is my favourite Friend. Black Forest is by far the best Cadbury chocolate. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day even more so for dinner. Looking for a comfy home with some great people who would like to show me their Brisbane.
* NOTE - would like to find a place within a few days :) Hey everyone, My name is Sarah and I'm a 25 year old female. Currently looking for an ensuite room around the $190-$200 mark and because I work in the city, I would prefer to live in or close to the city. A bit about me, I work 5 days a week at Treasury Casino and when I'm not working, I am out and about doing my thing so you will hardly see me. I am obsessively clean, pay my bills on time, friendly and considerate of you and your privacy. If anyone has anything suitable, please let me know :)
From Brisbane 19 y/o studying to be a trauma surgeon at Griffith University. I work bar and bistro at a tavern in bellbowrie. I have a 4 month old dog and so am looking for a pet friendly household. I'm clean and love to cook. Really just want nice housemates who are fun to hang out with. Have a lot of furniture so would prefer to start fresh in a new place rather than move into an already active share house.
I'm quiet, responsible and keep to myself. I do enjoy a drink or a night out occasionally but most of the time I love my private space. However I'd love to help out with anything if you need.
Very humble, clean and quiet couple, although we do enjoy socialising on occasion. We both love reading, cooking and camping and have been living together for three years. We are looking to move closer to uni for our studies. We are both studying at different universities also. Bryce is studying Information Technology and I (Brooke), am studying to become a secondary teacher in the fields of English and Arts. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
I am good company, just looking to move out of home. If you're interested in travel, we will be best friends for sure. I like to eat healthy so there will always be free fruit in the fridge and i definitely like keeping things like the kitchen nice and tidy (dishwasher preferred ahah)
I HAVE THREE PETS. About me: i'm jema, I'm fun and easy going. I currently work full time hours and have a secure job. I make a consistent amount of money and can pay bills on time, every time. I'm social but also like my own space, would be fantastic to live with people I can have dinner with or a quiet drink with on the odd occasion but I also highly value my alone time. I'm a bit of a neat freak and don't like mess, so any areas I occupy I always make sure are clean and habitable. I'm looking for somewhere to live that can accomodate myself and my three pets. I have a 3 yr old, extremely social, desexed (male) and vaccinated Australian shepherd - so where ever I move, it needs a fully fenced yard. He LOVES other dogs, so if you have a fluffy canine friend, he would be over the moon! He is indoor/outdoor and is fully toilet trained. I also have two desexed and vaccinated cats - they are strictly indoor only (I think it's unsafe for them to be outside and I value wildlife) - they are friendly and toilet trained and they also get along with dogs.
I'm respectful, friendly and have a good sense of humour. I always clean up after myself and keep my space tidy. I have a car, so will always be up for giving lifts for shopping or anything if others in the house don't have one! I won't make too much noise and will always do my best to make sure everyone is happy. Hopefully this makes me a good housemate to have :) also I'm a pretty good cook!
I'm 20 years old, looking for 2 other females to start a share house with. I work full time and go to gym, i am very tidy and like to keep the house very organised. I'm not a big drinker but I don't mind a cocktail here and there. I do like going out but I also enjoy having my own space and usually will keep to myself.
I'm quite shy but once I get to know someone, I generally become fun and bubbly person to be around. I'm moving because of study and a new environment, I want to start fresh. I've only ever worked in Cafés and McDonalds. I'll be looking for retail jobs or waitressing/bar-work while I live in Brisbane. I'll be doing a bridging course at Mount Gravatt TAFE (Screen and Media) and will hopefully be attending QUT (Bachelor of Creative Industries) in 2018. Ideally looking for a place to stay longer than 6 months. During the days I'll either be studying, working or most likely keeping to myself. I'd love to live with someone I can get along with socially but I'm still rather independent and respect everyones privacy. But overall I'm really excited for the move and hope to find some like minded gal(s) to live with while I'm there. Looking to move in at any point in January as I'll be starting my study on the 30th of Jan. My budget is a maximum of $200 per week. I'm looking for a room or flat that is unfurnished as I have all of my own furniture for my own room and plan on bringing it all with me (Bed, drawers, bookcase, side tables, desk, etc.) Furnished share homes/apartments are cool, so long as the room I'll be shacking up in has space for all my stuff 😅
Hi my name is Cindy..29 yo healthcare professional..I think I am pretty great to live with (my previous housemates can verify..hehe..) I am friendly and laid back. I work a lot (6 days a week) so I am quite busy..and in my down time I like to go for a walk, listen to music/play acoustic guitar, read, or going out and about with some friends...I am happy for a relaxing chat over dinner afterwork or sunday breakfast/coffee. I also respect when people need their own space and down time. I see myself as considerate and clean/tidy (adult common sense..hehe). Look forward to hear from you
I am a young student at Griffith Nathan, looking to move with my cat Finn into a lovely home with wonderful housemates. I am very tidy and usually keep to myself but also enjoy socialising with friends and housemates.
I am a very friendly and outgoing person. On a weekend i most likely will be out and about having diner or a cocktail. But at the same time I can be very geeky attending nerdy festivals dressed up in silly costumes. Im not one to stand on someones toes, i like to give people space so i expect the same in return.
