Hi, I'm Daniel. I'm currently studying Film and Video Game Composition at ANU and I'm looking for a share house for 2019. I'm a quiet person and I keep to myself quite a bit. Not a heavy drinker and I don't smoke either. Just really passionate about writing music and I'd love to have a peaceful space where I can create my music. I am pretty clean and take care of myself quite well. I am also very comfortable living with females as I grew up with two sisters, one older and one younger. I'm an easy going person and I'm also very friendly and polite. Just really wanting to move out of uni accommodation and to enjoy a share house type setting which I feel I'd be more comfortable with.
Hey there! We are Eryn, Rohan, and Taliah and we are looking for a fourth person to join our house hunt! We’re after someone whose cleanliness and personality is unquestionable and outstanding! I'm Eryn and I'm quite the dynamite gal. I've just completed my Cert IV in Musical Theatre but will not serenade you with broadway songs if you do not wish for me to do so. I'm a pretty arty person and love to draw/get my art on and obviously perform. I'm currently working 3 jobs in children's entertaining/educating and customer experience. I'm a fully grown child and love to watch anything disney (classic and pixar), As a theatre girl, I would consider myself outgoing (but not whack job crazy) but I do respect that some people need privacy/quiet time :) Rohan isn’t in the photo and isn’t too great with words but that is his only weakness! He is a very loyal friend and very easy to get along with! He is working full time in IT so his days are long but he never passes on an offer to hang out or just to chat! Think of the most loyal, trustworthy, reliable person in your life and double them! Taliah is yet to make her description but she’s great too :)) Let us know if you have any more questions and if you're interested in being our 4th housemate!
My name is Lily and I'm originally from Maitland in the Hunter Valley which is about 30 min from Newcastle. I moved here two years ago to do my PhD at ANU in plant science. I'm neat, don't mind socialising or leaving you to your own space. I enjoy cooking and just generally hanging out with my friends. My PhD keeps me busy most of the time but happy to lend a favour if you need :D
I am 24 yo, having recently moved to Canberra to start my PhD in Astrophysics at ANU. I have spent considerable time traveling over the last 1.5 years, changing continents every 3-4 months while doing research in space sciences. I have lived in Canberra for 3 months last year while working at Mt Stromlo. I am a fairly easygoing and flexible person. I like to keep my house neat and tidy and respect everyone's personal space. I have lived in sharehouses before and have gotten along pretty well with my housemates. I enjoy a drink or two here and there and like to socialize. I love cooking and sharing meals (if you love Indian food, you can save lots of dollars you spend in Indian restaurants xD). In my free time, I like to binge watch Netflix, go out for movies/drinks or read. I like playing badminton and spend two evenings every week at ANU Sport with my badminton club. I am also good with pets and can help you take care of them if you have one. I have been very punctual with respect to rent and bills. I have a scholarship to pursue my PhD which can conveniently take care of all my expenses. I am looking to join a friendly household where I can feel like home. If you think we can click, please feel free to drop a message! PS: My moving in date is flexible and can be anything between October 1 - October 30.
I'm a fourth year Law/International Relations student at the ANU. I also work at a cafe and do some other law related social justice projects. I'm a keen baker and rower and love coming home to a friendly relaxed house with people to chat to over a cup of tea.
I am a tidy, friendly, non-smoking full time uni student who works part time in the APS. I am generally very busy, spending most of my days at uni or at work. but I do enjoy socialising when I can, and I also enjoy getting outside and exercising.
Hi I am Elina, I am a full time student. I am from Singapore. I have been in Canberra for a year now. I am a friendly and tidy person who respects others space. I have been in many fields of work including law enforcement and flying around the world. I am a minimalist and I like to read. :)
Hi, I’m moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a new job as a research scientist. I enjoy playing sports (especially tennis) and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, and tidy.
Hey my name is Aiden, I’m in my final year of University in QLD and have secured a graduate job in Canberra and will be starting early-mid February 2019 (a little early to be looking right!). I've never been to Canberra before and don't know where any of the hot spots are so flick me a message if you have any advice, best suburbs to live in or where the best coffee is. I'm looking for another person to team-up with to get a place, or move into an already established house with a spare room. Location wise, as close to City Hill with 1-2 other house mates and own bathroom would be perfect! I’m a clean, tidy, easy going person who lives an active and pretty healthy lifestyle. I love my coffee, eating out, wine nights, watching movies and in general keeping busy. I'll be working full-time and looking to live with the same. I’m allergic to cats so unfortunately can't live with any on the property. Would prefer no pets, unless its a super cute doggo. The perfect housemate/s would be friendly and social people, who respect your own space/time as we all need that sometimes. If you're looking for someone to team up with or have anything available around February, let me know and will plan a trip to Canberra to catch-up.
I am moving to Canberra Mid-October to start a new position in the public service. I am friendly, tidy and love a good chat over a glass of wine at the end of the day. I am currently studying externally, so will often be required to lock myself in my room and study, but as soon as those assignments are submitted, I'd be keen to get out and see Canberra! :)
I am moving to Canberra for work. Originally from Country Victoria. I have had vast experience living in share houses and know howto show respect
I work full time and have lived in Canberra for two years. In my spare time I play sport, cycle, hike and read. I’m vegetarian but wont get up in your grill about this. I currently live in a share house and I like a wholesome, respectful lifestyle.
I will move to Canberra by the end of the year to start a job at CSIRO but the date is not set yet. I am in my early 30s and really easy going. I like to socialize with people but also as well prefer to have some time on my own. Sharing a beer or a glas of wine is fine with me but I am done with excessive partying. I love cats and dogs and won't mind to watch out for them.. On my days off I like to go hiking or just relax. I've been to Canberra before on a holiday but I am not familiar with the city or it's neighborhoods so I rely a bit on you to tell me where best to live.
Hi there, I'm Freya! I'm from Melbourne and I'm moving to Canberra for work! I've recently graduated from Uni and am looking for an awesome roommate/s to have the occasional Netflix and wine night with (or Stan, whatever floats your boat)! I'm a very social and friendly person who is super keen to meet people in Canberra, but I also totally value my alone time to recharge. I like music, fashion, film, keeping active and art galleries! Hit me up if you think we'd be a good fit!
Looking for inner North share house for shorter term 3 - 6 months, with possible extension. I work full time Monday - Friday, and keep busy with dance classes/training on weeknights. On the quieter side but enjoy a chat. Clean, tidy and responsible.
Hello there! My name is Cara and I am currently planning on moving short term to Canberra as I am starting a graduate position in the public sector. I am easy going and likes my quiet time too. I can clean and don't mind the odd night out or playing card games in. I have my own car so don't mind doing the weekly grocery run. Let me know if we could be a good fit!
Just a silly lad without a dad who enjoys making people laugh. Also I make a pretty mean salsa. I know how to turn on a vacuum and push a broom across the floor. Currently studying year 12 so I’ll be out of the house mon - fri. I’m a dam good artist and self professed comedian but I understand when to be serious. I’ve been looking after myself for 3 years now and have been having a great time doing it. I can also provide some pretty good references on request😊
My name is Garigarra, but everyone calls me Garra. I am currently living in northern Canberra, but the owners of the home are looking to go to auction at the end of October. So I am currently looking for a new share house in the area to move in late October/early November. I am currently working full-time in the Commonwealth Public Services, and I have just graduated from my undergrad at ANU. I am 26, turning 27 in May next year, and would class myself as fairly evenly split between introverted and extroverted. I do enjoy a nice chat with my housemates, but I tend to spend most of my time in my own room or out with my friends. I do enjoy going out with my friends once every 1-2 months, but I have never been one to host parties or invite a lot of friends over and play loud music. I am very respectful of my housemates and their own space/wants/needs. I wouldn't class myself as a clean freak. I am the youngest of 7 and have always had pets, so I would feel most comfortable in a house that looks lived in. Although I like to keep my own area quite tidy and am well trained to clean up after myself if I do make a mess, such a when I'm cooking. I do have my own bedroom furniture and a small fridge and washing machine, but I am happy to either sell or put in storage my extra furniture if needed. I also have a small ginger cat. She is a timid and shy outdoor cat who appears to be okay with other cats as I have found her spending time with the neighbourhood cats occasionally. So I would be happy to move in with someone who already has cats. But like me, she tends to just hang out on her own or likes a quiet cuddle. She has never bitten or scratched me and has a good routine of being fed in the morning and night, and going out during the day. I am happy to have her sleep with me at night. If you would like to know more about me or if you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me on here.

Hi I'm looking to share share short term from October 3 to November 11. I'm coming to Canberra to work full time in the APS and will likely be chillin' and checking out Canberra's social scene in my time off. I'm not a party person and tend to keep quiet and friendly around the home. I'm a second-hand book store and and coffee-chat kind of person. I also like hikes and overgrown gardens. I'm very tidy and like a clean house so I'll certainly pitch in with cleaning as required. I'm not in Canberra at the moment so happy to skype to see if we gel. Cheers, Rose
Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Adelaide in Feb 2019 to start as an APS Graduate (I know that's still a long time away but I thought I might try and get a jump on the crowds..) I'm looking for a share house of people who are easy going, who enjoy sharing a meal and a few drinks, but who are also respectful of the need to have time alone. I've lived in share houses for the last few years and have loved it - I'm friendly, very relaxed and more than happy to pull my weight with cleaning, cooking etc etc all that fun stuff. A little more about myself... I love hiking, camping and getting outdoors, I try to ride my bike wherever I can, and I try to live sustainably. I enjoy cooking (especially Mexican nights and Taco Tuesdays) and Netflix binging in my free time. If you think we'd get along and you might have a free room around the start of 2019 please let me know! Cheers :)
