Hi there! My name is Jen. I'm a 34 yr old professional looking for a like-minded flatmate to share a new space with. I recently started a new job in St Kilda, so want to move closer to that area and looking for someone who wants to look for a new place, too (Or an established home that suits). I'm not home a lot as I work pretty long hours, have a house full of furniture (sans washing machine, or whatever you need in your room), and two lovely cats who are exceptionally loving and friendly. Their sort of like puppies in cat suits! I'm very easy-going, love to travel, play board games and have a chill old time. I'm not the kind of person who plays loud music until all hours of the night, so totally open to living with a shift worker. I am clean and tidy, but not a neat freak. I don't mind if the dishes get stacked and then a load done in the dish washer, I don't mind if you put your library of eclectic books in the living room, or leave your scarf on the couch. Honestly, we're both paying for the space, feel free to live in it. That being said, I think there's a nice balance between 'lived in' and 'outright messy'. I'm a great communicator, so always open to chats and talking about whatever comes up. You will also get the house to yourself from time to time while I'm visiting my BF in the US.
I work as a waitress currently but also have experience in administrative work, looking at going to uni in 2019 to study architecture. I love to keep myself busy with seeing friends, going to the gym, work/study, and going out but at home I'm pretty quiet and love to relax. I love to meet new people and chat but also will be respectful of privacy & space. Ideally looking for another female to find a nice, clean apartment with & spilt costs, or to join an all girls sharehouse. Not too fussy where I end up as long as it's close to a trainline (need easy access to the CBD for work) and a good gym/shops etc nearby. Moving out of home due to how long it takes to get to the city (1.5+ hours).
Hi there! My name is Marcie and I'm obsessed with art. That's why I'm keen to move from Brisbane to Melbourne and be engulfed by the culture and creative community over there. I'm a very clean, respectful and polite housemate who loves to cook. The social aspect of share houses is very appealing to me too, as I love to be around people. At the moment I work full time hours at an ALH pub and plan to get a transfer to Melbourne, so I would have a job as soon as I get down there. I'm also about to start a dual Arts/Fine Arts degree at Monash (Caulfield campus). For fun I like to read, make art and go to gigs. Can't wait to meet you xo M
Hello all! My name is Kelsey. I’m a Drama teacher living in the Inner South East on my own currently, and although I love it, I’m looking to team up with someone and move out of my place at the end of May/start of June. I’m trying to do this whole “saving for a house” adult thing, and it’s easier when you live with an awesome housemate. I’ve been teaching for 6 years (Drama/English/Psych), so I have a reliable job. I spend most of the week either slaving away at work (kidding...I swear I love my job), at the gym (let’s see how long that resolution lasts), playing tennis or visiting friends/family. Bonus points if you play tennis. I’m pretty relaxed and like to chill with wine and watch tv every now and then. If I’m in a bad mood, I know to lock myself away. Would like a housemate that isn’t going to lock themselves away 24/7 though. Wouldn’t mind making a new friend! I like to go out every now and then, but I’m not a huge party animal (probably because all of my friends are basically married, but anyway....) I have everything needed for a house (fridge, couch, coffee table, tv, storage cubes, washing machine etc). Please note: my lease runs out mid June, so not looking to move until at least May :) Thanks!
Hi, Looking for somewhere to live for at least 3 months in one room of a private home. I work full time in Bentleigh and would prefer to stay around areas listed on my profile. If you do not have a listing, please do not make contact with me. Only people with listings please. I do not have a budget so please be in contact if what you have suits. Please also note l will not give cash for rent, l will only direct deposit. If you don't agree with that, don't waste time contacting me and l say that in the nicest possible way.
ill make you soup and do your shopping when you get sick. Am open minded, warm hearted and have a filthy sense of humour Im not a control freak nor do i have any interest i living with one so although i like to keep my surroundings clean and tidy I'm not bothered by a few dishes in the sink I am convinced that my 2 cats, tiger my big ginger boy and poppy still a crazy kitten are the most gorgeous , chilled out loving cats on the planet....if your having a bad day they always seem to know and with cuddles or plain cat weirdness they always make everything seem better.
Hii. I’m from France and i’m Student here for 2 years minimum. I’m working part-time also. I’m great to leave, i’m Tidy, friendly and funnyyy! Haha! If i’m Not studying or working.. I love watching series, or doing some shopping or going out sometimes of course ! 😇 I’m a smoker but don’t worry I always smoking outside. ;) Cheeeers
Hi! I am a happy positive person who loves being social but I'm not a party person at home. I work full time but also study and do research. I am respectful, helpful, busy, and clean and tidy. I also go to the gym, swim and want to start Latin dance again. I have a car and so will need a space to park it safely.
I study in Frankston so I need a room that is close to a railway station on the Frankston train line. Firstly, I'm studying paramedics and have worked for 3 years in a pharmacy so I'm here for all of your medical needs. Secondly, I'm nice, fun and bubbly, I mostly like to keep to myself AND I love to bake, so cookies and cakes for you. I'm after a good sized room in a small house (easy to clean).
Hi, I'm Josie, I'm a backpacker from the UK here on a working holiday Visa and looking to stay in Melbourne for the next 6 months to a year. I'm a quiet but friendly person, I am tidy and clean, and reliable. I like cooking and listening to music (on headphones) and watching too much Netflix.
Hi, I've just moved over from perth for work. I work in the rail industry and will be doing a project from dandenong to Caulfield. I am looking to stay here permanently but need to adjust first. My partner is currently trying to transfer from Brisbane but as a flight attendant it will be a lengthy process. My partner is with me for this week, then she is back to Brisbane until everything's sorted. I'm easy going and pretty quiet but would like to get out and about here in Melbourne aswell. I'm a clean and tidy housemate and have no issues complying with any house rules etc. Just excited to be here but need something ASAP lol so please don't hesitate to contact me. Cheers guys, Adam Comery
A final year Monash student looking for a room to stay from Feb 2018 for roughly 5 months! I'm neat, caring and I respect others' privacy. I'd love to socialise and be more than just housemates. Also love psych rock! will be glad to accompany you to cool bands' gigs. LGBT+ friendly. Pescatarian (vegetarian who eats seafood). I also have one friend who is interested in moving in together (separate rooms). If you have a room that might suit me, pls feel free to msg! Even better if you have 2 rooms.

I have been living in Melbourne since July 2013 and work at the Alfred hospital. My current lease expires on 15th march however I have to give 28 days notice so technically need to have found somewhere by 15th feb if not earlier. I am looking for a 6 - 12 month rental, maybe longer - hopefully longer if I can find some nice people to live with. I really want to live in a home rather than a room and so hopefully get on with who ever I end up living with. I enjoy gigs, music festivals, good food, movies and am currently getting back in to the gym. I also have two litter trained house rabbits. Also keen to look into teamups i would love a 3 bed place that i could share with one other or a couple... who wouldn't love a guest room! Lorah
Hello, We are very easy going, friendly and confident people. We love to spend time outdoors but also enjoy time inside also. We live a rather quiet life and enjoy reading, board games, some PS3, going for walks and generally just relaxing. When the sun is out the beach is somewhere we love to be. We are very tidy and respectable people who would like to live in a clean and tidy place. We are vegans and non-smokers. Brodie is from Adelaide and Indi, Melbourne. Meeting new people and doing new things is something we are looking forward too. We spent the winter living in our first rental in Merrijig working in the snow at Mt Buller. In October we left for a road trip up the East Coast. We made it all the way to The Daintree, it was a great experience. During this time we mostly minded houses and pets using the mindahome website. This is our profile page. :) Due to our busy last 7 months, we have got some great rental history and plenty of references from many homeowners. Indi has a hospitality job working around 30 hours a week and Brodie reads water meters for about 30 hours a week also. We have one car that we share. We would require a little bit of storage space as we are campers and have some camping gear that is better off the roof. However, we do not have a lot of stuff as everything we own fits in or on top of our car! We look forward to speaking with many of you and finding a great place to live! ***LOOKING WEST OF NEPEAN HIGHWAY*** Exceptions can be made :D Brodie and Indiana
Hi all, I'm Jordan, a 25-yo m looking to join an existing share house or to team up with others to apply for rentals with. I would like somewhere that has a 'home-vibe' to it rather than a messy share house feel. I'm an easy-going, clean and respectful housemate. I keep pretty busy but when I'm home I'll be keen hangout for a bev (I drink anything) or a meal. Please try to support me not to abuse Uber Eats though. I cook about four specific meals really well. Good conversation or any other fun in-house-activities would also be great too. I only drink socially, don't use drugs, I don't smoke and I'm not noisy. I like to keep healthy and active. Probably likely to cohabitate best with similar people. I come with a clean shot-haired cat who will be sure to make far better company than me. He enjoys cuddles, eating and likes to play fetch relentlessly. Just don't bond with him too much or I'll probably get jealous. Please send a message if you're interested in the same suburbs (close to Frankston trainline) and think you make a decent rental applicant too. Cheers, Jordan
