Hi there, I'm moving to Melbourne the 22nd of July. I've a Working Holiday Visa. I'm planing to stay in Melbourne for 5/6 months and then travel around Australia. I'm looking for a private room close to the city. About me, I am friendly, tidy and respectful. It's not the first time I share a flat.
Me: 23 year old, Office Manager at a development company, also studying Interior Design. I guess I'm a creative type that likes numbers. I like to stay fit, meet new people, shop, eat and drink wine. Originally from country Victoria, Ballarat/Hamilton. Ma & Pa live on a farm in between the two towns. I've been to boarding school so I'm pretty accepting and chilled. And yes I am one of those girls that goes to parties and hangs out with the dog..... I could ramble on for pages about how great I am, or we could go grab a coffee and chat!
Looking for a new place to stay during my exchange, starting around mid-august! About me: Small town French Canadian early retired sexologist 28-year-old gay law student based in Montreal. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counselor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up, Brenda!
I am a fun Indian to stay with. Mature for my age and can compete very well in a beer competition. I am a clean person and quiet sleeper so no snoring or walking around in the middle of the night. I am currently a full-time student at Monash University, Caulfield pursuing a Double Masters in Journalism. I have an awesome friend circle so far full of international students and would love to make some more. P.S- I can cook well and make one of the best-scrambled eggs. (demonstrations subject to availability of eggs and necessary kitchen equipment in the house)
I've been living in Melbourne for 5 years. Originally from Adelaide. I'm working full time at RMIT. I don't drive - by choice, I haven't had my licence suspended or anything like that. Currently living in Northcote and would be happy to keep living in this area but also happy to live in similar locations e.g. Brunswick, Collingwood, Fitzroy, etc. I'm not very familiar with the south side of the city but would consider moving there too. LGBT+ friendly. Places that I am interested in have the following features: Close to public transport (preferably a train line but trams are okay). Close to shops and cafes. Housemates that are clean and tidy in common spaces. A bedroom that can fit a queen size bed and bedside tables. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
I'm a civil engineer born and bred in WA but I've spent the last 9 months living and working in Shepparton. I’m heading back to Melbourne to work in head office on from Monday the 14th of August so I’m looking for somewhere permanent to call home. I'm 29 years old, been working as an engineer doing FIFO construction for 6 years and been living in share houses for 7 years (with guys/girls and dogs). I'm well accustomed to the usual housemate business (paying bills, keeping the place clean, keeping the noise down etc). My job has long hours so no risk of me waking the house up at 2am on a Wednesday morning. That said, do enjoy a beer and a chat after a day’s work but more than happy to give people their own space if that’s their thing. Music is my big time/money sink. Love going to shows/festivals and watching bands play live (usual poison is rock/metal). Other than that, like gaming and surfing (useless in the water, but love it), chilling with people, going to dinner, all the usual good stuff. I’ve chasing a place that is already kitted out (only moved over with 2 suitcases), but I can kit out a room as required. If that all sounds promising, send me a message and we can go from there cheers

Hi there, I'm looking for a nice share accomodation with a nice housemate (just one) I have my own furniture that will like to take with me, but I could get ride of some stuff if need be. I'm also open to team-up to look for a place together. I work full time in the cbd and studying part time and also trying to get back on my fitness sooo I'm usually pretty busy. I'm very easy going and like to be organised and tidy (not a clean freak - just tidy :)
Hi, my name is Hannah and I'm a study abroad student from Germany. I'm studying at the Swinburne University for four months and after that I want to travel in Australia. I'm searching for a place where I can meet new people to have a great time with. I like to read, watch movies, see new places, cook, and meet friends. I'm also a tidy person. It would be nice to hearing from you!
I'm easy going and tidy to live with. I enjoy my own space but love to share chats, meals, movies and such. I'll be working full time in the city Monday to Friday. Love to cook an occasional shared meal and will help with household chores. I'll be in Melbourne in January 2018 for approx. 4 months before moving onto Adelaide - then off to Europe towards the end of 2018. Looking for a basic furnished room, specifically a bed and preference is to have my own ensuite / bathroom.
Easy going and relaxed person, prefer to keep social activities outside the house. Hard worker with potentially future study. clean and organised. Happy to chat over a couple drink but also respect and like private personal time. Ideally looking for room with private bathroom and maximum 3 bedroom apartment. All female house mates preferred.
Hi future houseshare, I run my own space clearing declutter business so I am very respectful of spaces and keeping them tidy. I have travelled with my work all over the world and have stayed in many airbnbs, holiday rentals, hotels as well as private homes. My friends call me the bed whisperer :) I like to use my home base as a chill zone and focus on my business. I will usually go out to see a movie or hang with friends, I don't drink or smoke or party I did all of that in my younger years. I love one to one conversations and not into small talk, in fact I like to keep to myself mostly. Not in an weird way locked in my room, more about meditating and working, so I like to be free of distractions. I love to cook and love watching the odd rubbish tv show occasionally. I have an easy light personality so not into drama or heavy negative energies. Spontaneous dancing may occur. I practice Qigong and Kundalini Yoga and will finish my Lomi Lomi Massage Training at the end of this year in Hawaii. I love to laugh and believe everyone deserves to be respected and listened to. Because my business is about CLARITY, I like to discuss and clarify what is expected in the domestic running of the house, so that there is no room for confusion. It's also important to be aware of boundaries. Really look forward to finding a space that feels like "home" .... and chatting with you soon Thanks Eirena ( aka ell ) PS Some things that are important on my list. -NBN Internet is very necessary for my work -I run my own business, so my hours vary, so when you ask full time and mean the conventional 9 t0 5- that's not me. -I really would like a place with a bath tub - Love love love gardens, so prefer a house to an apartment
Current undergraduate student studying Psychology/Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne and have just transferred from the University of Sydney this semester. I have experienced living with others when I did a French Immersion programme in Quebec City last year and really loved the experience. I enjoy reading, travelling, music, and going to the beach. I am responsible, tidy, honest and considerate. Very happy for my previous host family in Quebec (although some translating may be required as they only speak French!) or my former school principal to be contacted for a character reference.
Hi there, I'm Shahin. I'm in my late 20's and I work full-time in Melbourne in the IT industry. I do enjoy to keep fit and have a healthy life style. I also enjoy nature, a good hike, reading, hanging out with friends on the weekend for a game of tennis or a drink. I also love travelling. I've been living in Melbourne for about 3 years now. Before Melbourne, I was in Dubai and before that in the US. How am I at home? I like to keep my space neat and clean. I also don't live a very loud life, so I might not be the best match for a party house. I also like doing a bit of cooking from time to time and sharing it. If you have more questions feel free to drop me a line.
I'm a 24 year old Male from New Zealand. I have just moved to Melbourne for a year. I am a tidy guy, quite and respectful. I clean and garden when I procrastinate. So leave your room door open if you need a clean lol. No I respect others space, but would be great to get to know you and if we get on you could show me around the city. 😋 Thanks
Hi there, I'm a single social girl looking to move into the city and make some new friends. I'm looking for a social house of three or more people. I'm currently looking for somewhere for between 3 and 6 months and would prefer not to sign a lease. I like to keep clean and tidy, and am happy to do my share of the housework. I work full time in HR. During the week I enjoy a Netflix binge and a glass of wine, but like to get out and about on the weekends. I spend most of my spare time going out for dinner/drinks/dancing with friends, live music, outdoorsy anything and cooking (I make the best sausage rolls ever and am happy to share). If there's anything else you want to know just ask :)
