We are Sarah and Jamie a couple originally from the UK. Sarah works in the city in an office Monday to Friday and Jamie works at a bar/restaurant/cafe doing various shifts. We are friendly and easygoing, equally love socialising and also chilling out. We are tidy and considerate and want to share with people who are too.
Hi guys! Im a British backpacker looking for a place to stay for a month or so. I'm a very easy going person who loves travelling and meeting new people! Consider myself to be clean, respectful and good fun so if you have a spare room going would be much appreciated if you could help a brother out!
I am clean, respectful, chilled, no drama! Moving back to Melbourne from a two year stint in Sydney. Start a new job on the 29th of May. Yep.. on my birthday..
Hi! Im 28 years old from Sweden. Working within retail on Bourke St. For the moment I live in a house with two friends in Windsor, but the lease is ending and I need to find a new place. I'm a person who likes my home tidy and clean. I don't spend much time at home but when I do I like it pretty quiet, and its important to respect each others privacy. I'm looking for a furnished room, or a furnished 2 bedroom apartment. If u found me interesting, please let me know if I can come for an inspection. Best regards zozo
My name is Akshay and I am from India. I am doing my master in marketing at RMIT. Very easy to get along with, I like sports and just to chill on a Sunday.
Hello everyone! My name is Ehsan (persian) and I am 27 year old professional working as a web developer at CHE proximity, close to Chapel Street. I am positive and outgoing person, love to have a nice conversation with people or glass of Wine. I am looking for a room where I can relax after busy day and I can call it my second home.
I'm not home much, and when I am I usually catch up on sleep. I work construction weekdays and weekend I'm security guard at clubs and pubs. I cook mean eggplant and wouldn't consider eating anything without yoghurt .. But that could be a culture thing.. I'm originally from Iran and have been living in Australua for 6 years.
I am aware people need space, but also know that a house is boring if you don't socialise with your roomies. I'm a teacher. So I'm in a professional job. I also play sport on the weekends, so wherever I live I will always be in and out all the time. I'm friendly, and talkative (not to the point where I annoy you)...and I like to think I'm easy going.
I am a 26-year-old Londoner who moved to Melbourne just under a month ago. I work in South Yarra as an Account Manager in PR and am looking to move near the area with St Kilda being my preference. I love the gym, sport, music. I'm a social guy. Also clean and tidy.

I see myself as a very easy going person, friendly and very respectful. I plan to visit the city and its surroundings a lot and of course, I would love to exchange and share a meal (with wine and cheese !) as this is why I travel in the first place. Hope to meet you soon ! Hélène
Hey guys, Looking for a place for me and my fat, cuddly cat called Trips. I'll be moving to Melbourne from Brisbane around mid-June to start my Masters at Monash (Caulfield campus) so move-in date is relatively flexible. I'm super laid back and sociable, but can also really enjoy my personal time. I'm an Indonesian-Australian who grew up in France/Switzerland and love meeting people from all over. Looking for housemates that enjoy sharing a meal, a beer or a glass of wine (or three) from time to time and who can spark up interesting conversation! I'll be new to the area, so would definitely appreciate someone willing to explore Melbourne a bit with me! Send me a message if you think we'd get along! X
Hi there I am a 25 year old Australian relocating to Melbourne. I'm laid back, quiet and clean. I will be working nights in hospitality but are quiet when I arrive home. I am interested in most inner city suburbs and a lease of 3-6 months.
Hi everyone!! I am an Italian student who's currently undertaking a Master of Design at Monash Uni - Caulfield Campus for the 1st semester. I'm really respectful, clean and tidy and I do respect privacy. I had been working as an aupair in Sydney for 6 months so I do not mind cleaning or cooking. I am a really outgoing and openminded person: I like to socialize, have fun, go out for a drink or for a live concert. I love any field of art and I am always excited for organizing trips during the weekend. Although I am still focused on studying, I really want to take the chance to explore Melbourne and Australia. I need a private room from the 10th of May till the end of July. Contact me on 0416045430 ;)
Heyy, I am a pretty outgoing guy that that works hard and enjoys socialising on the weekends. I am clean, tidy and respectful of other people. I have just been trekking in Nepal for the last month and now back in Melbourne to find a good crew to live with. I'm looking for like minded people that enjoy the occasional drink with their housemates. I'm a site manager for a construction company that mainly focuses on apartment developments. I really enjoy my work.
I'm a biomedical engineer moving to Melbourne for a new job and couldn't be more excited! I'm American - originally from Seattle but spent the past 5 years in the NYC area. I'm very clean and respectful. I love my work which means I keep quite busy during the week. I love to socialize, explore, meet new people and go out on the weekends. I'm not a party animal but always am up for some fun. Hobbies include yoga, going to the gym, reading, enjoying a glass of wine with friends :)
I'm pretty relaxed and won't be someone who's in your face. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates here and there when I'm free whether that be going out for dinner and drinks or at home chilling out watching a movie. I have an active life and keep myself quite busy through my sport, work and friends. I love surfing in the summer and going to the beach. In the winter you'll find me playing football and going to training during weeknights. I have a corporate job in the city which can be fairly demanding of my time so when I'm not at training I'll often be working until around 7ish. My friends say I'm fairly outgoing and social. But I do enjoy my own company at times. That's about me in a nutshell :)
Important details: Dates - From immediately (or as soon as possible) until the end of May Preferred budget for the two of us (i.e., not per person) - $250/week rent only or $320/week including bills and wifi A little more about us: We are a chilled out, clean, tidy, and respectful Australian-Chilean couple. We're pretty easy going, happy to keep to ourselves and respect your privacy and equally happy to be social and share a meal and/or a drink or two with you. I'm originally from Brisbane and Marcelo is from Santiago, Chile. We have been living and working in Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, and Port Macquarie over the past few years together and this will be our first time living in Melbourne. We both love to travel, rock climb, hike, dance salsa, and relax with good food and a nice wine. We are also interested in languages; I speak some German and am learning Spanish, and Marcelo speaks Spanish and Portuguese fluently. Marcelo is an engineer and will be working full time. He just started a short contract in the St Kilda area on April 19. I have not had a chance to find work in Melbourne yet, but when I am working, I work on public health projects or in the area of health promotion. (We don't know whether Marcelo's contract will be extended beyond May. This and the fact that I don't have work yet are the main reasons why we are looking for such a short lease and also why our budget is a little tight.)
I'm not sure about the lenght of lease as it depends of personal reasons. It could be from a month to a year at least. I work full time and I love practising Yoga and cooking tapas and spanish food :-) . I'm not a party girl although I do enjoy a glass of wine and having a good conversation. I'd prefer to rent a room with my own bathroom and a big robe or space for one.
We are exchange students from RMIT Vietnam. My major is business information system and my friend studying Eco-Finance. We are very friendly and super interested in technology. Hope we can make friend with all of your guys :)))) .
Hiya everyone. I'm just going to get straight to the point... I currently live in a MAD HOUSE!!! A MAD house I tell you. Like when I say 'mad house'... what I mean is I currently live in a Share House with 11 people and I swear, if I hear one more argument at 3am over drugs, or if I have the police knock my bedroom door one more time looking for one of the other housemates, if one more pair of my 'eye patches' go missing off the washing line.... If one more morning I wake up and someone has left me with none of 'MY' milk for the most important farking Coffee of the day.. then I may be forced to turn into the worst version of Jekyell and Hyde they've ever seen... I bet your about to Google to see who Jekyell and Hyde' is.. But SERIOUSLY, who has to put a padlock on their own Fridge in their own house???????? I didn't realise that anybody else likes Blue Cheese. I'm happy to move anywhere in Bayside/Kingston area as long as it's close to public transport. A bit about me. 100% up front. Best way to be so there's no surprises later. 29 FT Student. Originally from South Wales, UK. Perm Aus Resi. I pay my bills on time and every time.. my Mum would disagree but that's her job so don't listen to her. Love you mum. Not a party animal. LOVE and expect my own privacy and space but still love to be social. Non drinker. Outside smoker.. 🚬 and occasionally I like to indulge in a 3 paper 🚬🍃🍂 If you judge me for indulging in the odd bit of natural urb then that says more about you than it does me. Live a little. Anal about cleanliness. Can cook. Will cook. Quiet. Respectful. Helpful. Honest. Don't I just sound like the perfect housemate? Snap me up already why don't you? Preferably this weekend as my stuff is already packed and ready to go, like yesterday. Which isn't helping my OCD, I need somewhere to unpack it. Looking for Furnished or Unfurnished room. Granny flat, Studio.. Preferably with it's own ensuite, that's not a necessity but it would be nice. Max $220 PW. Can provide References and a Bond if needed. Hope to hear from someone soon! Have a great weekend everyone. Taryn
