I am a Belgian living in Australia and have just finished my degree in audio engineering. I spend a lot of time playing/working on music and am not really a party type. Preferably I'd like to live with people that aren't too loud either. I'm looking for places along the Frankston/Sandringham train lines.
Hello, I love cooking, meditation and I often read quietly in my room. That said, I love chatting over a glass of red at home or at a nearby bar. I got a new job in digital marketing in South Yarra and I am looking for a place nearby. And yes, I am tidy and know well how to respect others' privacy. Single, no-children and non-smoker.
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 30 and I run my own business from home. Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling I would like a safe place to stay for 10 months. I plan to move interstate in March/April 2018 to study. But I promise to pay my bills and rent until then! I am going through naturalization. Based in the inner Western suburbs, but would consider moving to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Glen Iris, Malvern, Maribyrnong, Ascot Vale and Kensington It needs to be close to public transport BUT with a parking spot, for my little red Ford Festiva. Prefer unfurnished as I have my own furniture. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go PS: I share a lovely 3 level townhouse in West Footscray. My housemate is a passive-aggressive alcoholic man who is getting divorced. We have just been given 3 months to vacate. I am looking to move out/in in mid-June, July or August. If you are considering asking me to share a house with you, I think we would get along if you are: - not an alcoholic (manage your anger in other ways) - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working/not a student) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet (I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I am not obliged to be your psych/best friend) - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting or cursing at me; please approach me in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues. Say "Please and thank you" These rules would go for me too! I would only share with one other person, to keep things simple. If I were to share a house, the room must be: - LARGE (at least 3.5m by 3.5m) - have large BIR - have an ensuite bathroom I can afford up to 350 per week, so that's what I'd expect. I am happy to pay for gas/water/electricity and Internet but NOT Foxtel as I am very much a YouTube girl. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara
I'm a joyful French guy spending some time in Australia to study. I will be in Melbourne for 6 weeks to work there as a research assistant, before going back to the country. I'm tidy, respectful, but also social and outgoing !
We are a young couple who have recently moved from New Zealand to Melbourne!! I (Madi) am studying full time and working part time, and my partner (Nathan) is working full time and playing AFL. We are both pretty busy but enjoy socialising when we can!! Looking for some young like minded people to become friends with!
Hey Everyone, I'm relocating to Melbourne for work from Adelaide and am needing a place to live. I am a Civil Engineer who has lived in a share house since 2011 and have managed to stay good friends with all my previous house mates. I'm easy to get along with and can maintain a tidy household. I enjoy watching and playing sports, socialising with friends (I spent 5 months in Melbourne the past year so have a starting network of friends and know my way around the city), exploring new places to eat and going out for drinks. Not really a fan of hosting parties but happy for social drinks at home before heading out somewhere. Coming from Adelaide I will typically have friends and family come visit, so I'm easy going when it comes to friends / family visiting. I have the max budget at $325 but that is relatively flexible. Looking forward to hear from you all! Allen
So I've just moved over from Perth and have secured the job I wanted, now I need the home. I'm a professional so I'll be working lots and I hardly make any mess. I don't know many people over here yet so won't be making much noise, I love a good chat though.

Well as i'm sure it states somewhere, My name is Sam. I've spent my whole life in Auckland and have decided to make a big move to Melbourne! I'm pretty unsure about where I want to live but I'm excited about it all. I'm a very good cleaner - especially dishes - and consider myself a pretty responsible and considerate person. I know literally no one in Melbourne (exciting) and look forward to making a fresh start. I am an actor, so my working arrangements will be based around whatever fits in with acting classes and auditioning. Thanks for your time :)
26-year-old Kiwi girl who moved to Melbourne 4 years ago. Currently living with 6 people and we have just been informed our house is getting demolished for apartments. Looking for a new place to call home :) A full-time worker based in south Melbourne and looking for a new house to take me in. I am a fun and outgoing person who has been a part of two shared houses in my 4 years in Melbourne and made some lifelong friends. Like to spend my time being social, playing sport and sifting through Netflix for a new binge session. Looking for a place close to public transport and people who are like minded.
Hey all 😊 My name's Imogen and I'm looking for a place I can call home during my time in Melbourne. I'm 24, British, and have spent the past two months travelling South East Asia and the East coast of Aus, and I hope to be in Melbourne for at least 6 months. I'm sociable, friendly, clean, and I love meeting new people. I'm partial to a good pre drinks and a boogy on Chapel at the weekend, but I also enjoy a big feed and a chilled night in when it's necessary! During the week I like to (try) to be super healthy. I love to cook and keep active, so on week nights you'll find me in the kitchen or the gym after work. I love to cook for others too, so bonus points if you're willing to be my guinea pig! Looking to live with likeminded people of a similar age, and to be friends with my housemate(s), so if you think you fit the bill, please hit me up!
Hello everybody, I'm currently living in SA and have just about had enough of this place frankly, I just cannot get work here to save my life. I live in a nice house that my parents spent all their money rebuilding, but I need to move out for my own good. I've talked to a few people and they recommended Melbourne as a good place to start. I'm pretty quiet overall, but have a better sense of humour than many and enjoy travelling and photography. I tend to prefer staying at home, I never have been and never will be of the "party type", its not for me. I'm an online gamer too and thus my only prerequisite is an immediate wired internet connection. I am ready to move at any moment's notice. Currently not working at the present moment but feel a change in scenery is exactly what I need to find something. Thanks, Anthony.
Hi Beautiful people! Just about to start a new chapter in my life and would love to find a place to call home! Looking for a large warm room with own bathroom in a modern apartment or a house. Willing to share accommodation just with one person. I work full time, so bills will be paid in time;). Let me know if you have one or want to rent together. (There are few great 2 bed 2 bath apartments in Bayside, up to $500 per week, so we can take a lease together for 1 year)
Hey all, to let you know a bit about myself; I have studied mechanical engineering at Monash uni, I finished my studies last year, I have lived in Melbourne for the past 7 years , I was away for a year and I just got back a month ago and i'm living with close friends at the moment. I am a permanent resident of Australia and the plan is to get into an international management consultancy firm or continue in a master degree/Phd within the next 6 months as I have kick started my own in my home country Iran, but till then I'll be working full time at my old job in the city, retail :Men's suit and formal wear and potentially Marketing: helping with the lunch/startup of two of my friends' emerging new businesses. Now a bit on my personality, well, before leaving Melb last year I had my own place for 7 years in Glen Iris and I had both couple and single male and female flatmates from Brazil, US, Australia, Newzealand, Iran, China, Malaysia, Ireland, Belgium, France and now I am leaving with a Greek/french couple. so I consider myself pretty easy going and I understand, respect and get along pretty well with differences in cultures and personalities. Growing up and living with two sophisticated and independent sisters, I am so considerate and I take mutual understanding so serious, in a way that I mostly base and form my relationships wholly on these factors and that's how so far I had no serious issues with anyone I have ever lived with. I am quiet neat and tidy and I highly value personal hygiene and the cleanliness of the place that I live in, I believe in "sound mind in a sound body" so i'm into fitness and I used to do kick boxing for almost 10 years. Balance in the living environment is important for me and I think as long as there's mutual respect for privacy and whatever that is important for the others living in that environment regardless of the differences, I can get along with anyone. Mostly, I would spend my free time, reading, listening to music, watching movies and series, cooking, training, hanging out with friends and when in the mood I'm quiet social and I am always up for a chat, a walk or occasional drinks and I forgot to mention that I love living with both dogs and cats that are being well looked after, in general I am pet friendly.
Hi there, I work full time as a Project Management consultant. I'm easy going, patient and down to earth person. I enjoy having a drink, dining out, writing/reading, watching tv/movies, playing and watching sports. I'm passionate about working towards building a community centre for people with disabilities. Looking for a new place I can call home. Please text or message me if you're interested. Cheers,
Hi, I'm Melanie, I work full-time in Marketing in Richmond. I’m looking for a place to stay from mid June for two months (at this stage). I’m friendly, responsible, considerate, tidy, have no pets and am easy going so will take a room furnished or unfurnished. I also have family in Melbourne who I will stay with from Friday nights to Sunday afternoons so my budget is a bit cheaper for this reason. Happy to have a chat to potential flatmates. Cheers! *My family is currently housing a couch, fridge, table with 4 chairs, bookcase, washing machine and tv unit that is for sale.
I'm the kind of person that can easily get along with other people; watching movies, play sports or go to the gym. I'd like to maintain cleanliness in my place all the time and love to help with the household chores. Open to meet new friends and respectful to others' privacy or culture. Prefer to share the flat with a single person. Pets are not an issue. Non smoker but would love to grab some beer on Friday nights or weekends. Moving in to Melbourne this coming July and by that time will start to look for an IT job (Web developer).
Heya :) I'm Karol, originally from Brazil but have been living in Melbourne for about 4 years now. I work full-time as a Yoga & Meditation teacher and am always out and about with work and occasional social gatherings :) I'm looking for somewhere to chill out and recharge after long days where I could find some quiet time. I'd love to share the house with easy going, healthy, clean and respectful people who are not party animals but enjoy the eventual brunch, glass of wine and good conversations. Only looking for private rooms in non-smoking places, and preferably sharing with people of same age range (28-35) . If that's what you've got, please shoot me a message :)
Hello! Full time receptionist at a health club in the cbd. Personal hobbies include gym training, outdoors activities (camping, hiking, four-wheel driving, skiing, etc), cooking, all things food, craft beer and coffee! Very down to earth individual who is bordering OCD with cleanliness and takes pride in maintaining my environment. Not much of a party animal these days, although a big fan of the odd dinner party with friends :)

Hi! I am coming to Melbourne for study abroad for spring semester. I am originally from America, but have living in Tel Aviv, Israel for the past 6 years. I love to cook, not a neat freak, but also not a slob, love to be social and meet new people, but am also always down to binge watch Netflix!
