Hi! I'm Ting. Will be starting my postgrad course in data science at Monash in July. I love sports, burgers, coffee, and spending quality time with friends and family. I do crossfit, weightlifting, and surfing on a regular basis. Basketball, skateboarding, biking, and hiking are also my interests. I'm pretty chill and easygoing. I like to make friends, hang out, have fun but I'm not here to party. I want to focus on my study and build a career as a business/data analyst in sports-related fields. I like to plan ahead but still have some flexibility. I believe that being honest and be willing to communicate are important in having a great flat sharing experience. It'll be cool if we can be friends or workout partners but if not it's no problem, too. I've traveled to over 10 countries and done a 29-day train trip around the United States. What I learned the most from my trips is that a lot of time there's no right or wrong, it's just different. It's alright if we don't share the same values or views. I'd respect your opinions and appreciate that you help me to see things from a different perspective. Since I love sports, I'll be bring some workout gears and possibly get a surfboard or bike after I settle in. I'll keep my things neat and out of your way. I'll definitely respect our shared space and clean up after myself. Also, I'll respect your privacy and your personal life. Meanwhile, I expect the same from you. Feel free to talk to me or ask questions if you are interested in being flatmates. Or if you want to meet up, I'll be in Melbourne after July 10th. Thank you :)
Matthew: Work full time 7 days a week as a shop fitter, very easy going. Like to spend time relaxing with friends. My hobbies are cars, motorbike riding. Neat tidy person. Elisha: Work 3 days a week in a cafe, In spare time I like to shop and spend time with friends. My hobbies are hairdressing, tattooing, art and interior design. Planning on going to study full time at Uni.
Hey there, my name's Alek and I'm headed to Australia as an international student in late June. I'm a Graphic Designer/Art Director specializing in Digital marketing (so I'd make a great flat mate if you needed help in that area or something hahaha). I'm going to be studying in Holmesglen (the Moorabbin campus), so I'd ideally like to get a place close by. I can cook and am quite meticulous with chores, especially in communal areas. Although I do have the tendency to get a little more chaotic in my personal spaces-- I try not to use the whole 'creative brains work best in chaos' excuse... but yeah, pretty much. (Other skills include sewing, cat handling and photography... not sure when you'd need that though.) Ideally, I would like to live with someone LGBT as well, but honestly, as long as you have no problem with my being LGBT, we golden. One thing that might be a big thing for some is that you really ought not have fear of dolls. My hobby is primarily customizing and photographing art dolls. I swear they're not like those creepy dead eyed porcelain dolls, but if you've got a phobia this might be an issue? My other hobbies include D&D and playing boardgames (but I also dabble in conceptualizing tabletop games in my spare time). I'm wordy, but I'm perfectly content to just keep to myself if you're not into that. Though I'd prefer we become friends rather than just a couple of folks sharing a space, at the very least. :)
I am in my mid twenties from Ireland. Working full time as a Gardener Monday to Friday, no unsociable hours. Like to keep clean and tidy. I am easy going, laid back person, respect privacy of others and a non smoker. I like keeping busy by being out and about. But like to come home and relax in a quiet, chilled atmosphere. Would enjoy an evening with my housemate, having a chat and a beer or two. But also respect them and their space. Have been living in Melbourne over a year now and settled here. Have lived in shared houses in Ireland, America, New Zealand, Melbourne can provide references. Looking for a place preferably in Hampton, Highett, Elsternwick, Prahran, Windsor or surrounding suburbs. Looking for a clean place, dont mind sharing with a couple, would like a furnished room if possible. Available to move anytime, preferably as soon as possible.
I am looking for places in Sydney or Melbourne. I would like to start with a short term of 2 weeks before decinding for a longer term. I speak french, spanish and english. I am relaxed but not looking for a party house, I would like my own bathroom and private room.
Hey There, I'm living in Melbourne for 5 months now and am currently working full-time so I'm barely at home to be honest. I need a place to stay at and roommates that are fun to be around, easy going and clean. I have a bit of an OCD myself so the house won't be a mess and I'm always considerate when it comes to living with flatmates. If you're the same, I'll be more than happy to share a flat :) Cheers, Sam
Hi I have been living in shared accommodation for a while so know the drill. I am clean, friendly and respectful. I do come with two well trained dogs who are also used to sharing. I like to keep fit and eat healthy, enjoy going to see live music and movies but also love to read. I work full time and are very much a morning person.
Hi, I'm Kate, a 29yr old student studying early childhood and primary teaching at Monash. I currently work in sports retail, which helps to pay the bills. I am clean, tidy, honest and relaxed.
Hello! I am an 18 year old female, I work as a waitress at a little restaurant in Beaumaris. I am a bright, bubbly and funny (well I think so any way) female. I am tidy and clean so the place would never be left in a mess and am more then happy to help you any way I can :)
I'm a considerate, moderate guy looking to share with 2 or 3 mature, moderate, and considerate people (approximately over 38 years of age). I prefer not to live with sports enthusiasts, TV sports watchers or reality TV followers (sorry but that's just not me). If there is a TV (I can live without one) I do enjoy science, nature or social-science type docos. Quiet at night when trying to sleep is important to me. I'd like to live with people who need and value that as well :) I'm civilised and have no antisocial or illegal habits. I'm clean and quiet living yet reasonably social (though not really into big or loud group situations generally). My background is telecommunications technical support but I'm currently doing warehouse/delivery type work. I enjoy art house movies, support most "progressive" things though I'm not an eco-zealot or "lefty" per se (though I'm not "right wing" either) . Prefer not to live with persons working from home (not enough personal space balance for me). I like a balance between personal space and company.
I work Mon - Fri 8 30am - 5pm in a regional role throughout the Inner and South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I've lived around this area for majority of my life. I keep myself busy with sport and a few hobbies so rarely home. When I am home I don't mind binge watching a TV series, having a beer or wine or even a casual chat. I'm a pretty relaxed person and not phased by much, I also thoroughly enjoy a good laugh
Hey there, My names Jen I currently work and live in London but am coming home to Melbourne in July to start my Masters at Monash Uni. I grew up in Bayside and want to live in this area again when I get back. I'm easy going, tidy, mostly out and about to be honest and would like to live with chill people I can enjoy a meal and a beverage with from time to time. If you have anything available coming up in July would love to hear from you.
I work full time in warehouse/logistics but studying IT in my own time. I am a tidy person that cleans up after myself. In my free time I like to go to the gym or kick back and watch some Netflix or play some games. Despite thinking I'm into fitness I like to socially eat bad food...a lot, and enjoy having a drink or 2. I'm always down for a good laugh and banter and am usually pretty social on weekends.
Hi there! I am currently on the hunt for a friendly and relaxed household to call home while i study. I have lived in three sharehouses while in Melbourne and I'm looking for somewhere with friendly people who will make me feel comfortable and at home. I am studying architecture which keeps me very busy. I am passionate about design and I work really hard on all my projects. I am also a nanny, I love kids and my job is the best. I try to keep healthy and fit and love cooking and baking. In my free time I love going to bars and cafés, markets and on walks. I also do a lot of reading and watch movies. I'm a really relaxed person to live with, I love hanging out but will always respect a person's privacy. If you think I will suit your household please contact me, I would love to meet up! Annie xxx
I'm a friendly and easy going full time pharmacist working out in Dandenong but I'm looking to live a fair bit closer to the city than that, ideally some time before the end of July. In my down time I enjoy playing piano and video games and going out with friends for a bit of a drink and a boogie. I've been known to do a bit of baking and crafting as well! 100% LGBTI+ positive and pets are fine by me! I'm flexible with length of stay and type of residence, although I'd prefer not to live with more than 2-3 other people, and I would like a place to park my car (on the street is fine).
I am an easy going, flexible, well mannered, chilled and chatty individual. I have lived in a house sharing situation for about 10 years now so know all about respecting boundaries, general cleaning and tidying routines, helping out with whatever it is and limitations around social gatherings. I have never had any issues in the past and happy to provide references, should it be required. I am a full time civil engineer working in the city so ideally looking for something within 30 minutes walk/ public transport to the city. I have a car, which will probably only be driven during the weekend. Hence I will need some form of parking, flexible with whatever it is. Besides work, I am currently studying a masters part-time and looking on getting back to playing tennis, cricket and soccer. I enjoy my food and generally cook once or twice a week. I don't have any furniture or kitchen utensils so would ideally be looking for a reasonably sized room that is furnished (double bed, desk, wardrobe) and an equipped kitchen. However, if I find the place and occupants to be ideal, I am happy to buy some furniture. Let me know if you are interested, and I am sure I will have more to share. Thanks.
I am a friendly, easy going, positive, clean, tidy and respectful housemate and tenant. I am happy to have a chat over a meal or tv show or to respect your personal space and privacy if you like to keep to yourself. I am a vegetarian, animal lover and LGBTQI+ ally. I keep busy most of the week with study, work and exploring all Melbourne has to offer. My hobbies include playing and listening to music, going to music concerts, watching tennis, reading, cooking, travel, watching film, going to art galleries and museums, going out, hanging out with friends, exercising/team sports, crafts and trying new things. I have spent the past 4 or so years renting with others so I have lots of experience. I would like not only a house but a home and if living with others would like to form friendships. :) Please get in touch if you think you have the place for me! Cheers.
Looking to move after I get back from a Bali holiday mid-August, and not keen on signing a lease as I'm likely to be buying a place in the following 6-12 months. I'm the most clean and tidy housemate you will ever have. I like to cook, but I'm not very good! I'm on a weight loss and fitness journey at the moment (20kg down) so it'd be cool if we could gym together. Introverted af. Always up for Netflix and a drink; not into clubbing at all. I love seeing love bands, my favourite is Karnivool. I've just finished up my last unit of my bachelor of science at Monash and I'm a manager at Dan Murphy's (SWEET SWEET DISCOUNTS). I have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Max budget is including bills. Also looking for: - Carspace (definitely undercover, secure preferred) - Housemates around my own age - Private laundry facilities - Private balcony or yard area - Ensuite bathroom if possible - Housemates that are chill with my bf hanging around/staying over a few nights a week. If I sound like the one for you ( ha ) let me know you've read my whole profile by telling me your favourite breakfast food!
Just your typical Coffee Fuelled Writer. Hobbies: I'm a theatre maker/artist, working in writing/directing/dramaturgy, building a portfolio and network in the Melbourne Scene. I am passionate about ASD advocacy and education. Keen lover of Film/TV, generally always up for a chat! Perks: Good listener. Will Proof read letters and emails. Quiet and private. Makes food for specific diet. I know where the good theatre shows are.
Hey! My names Claire I'm looking for temporary accomodation for 3 months and willing to move in as soon as possible. I'm 22 working as a full-time dental assistant in Carnegie. I'm a very clean and quite person. I'm also an extremely easy person to get along with. If you'd like to meet up and see if I'd be suitable that would be so great Thank you! Claire
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 28 and live a pretty clean lifestyle. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 5yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a longer term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.
My name is Berker, I am studying Cert lll Electrical and Electronics at Holmesglen TAFE full time. I am from Turkey. I live with my uncle now but I decided to move a flat. Hi I'm Seb, just your average 22 year old guy thats working full time. I'm looking for a place anywhere in the south eastern suburbs and inwards. I'm clean and conscientious of other people's needs and am quiet moving around the house/apartment. I enjoy going out occasionally or having a beer and chill at home, but am also happy just having a quiet night in. I'm into cars so a place with either off street parking or easy street parking (no parking restrictions or insanely bad roads please) but my car and related things won't be a nuisance but flatmates interested in cars as well would be a bonus!
Hi there a little about myself.I am a fully employed beauty therapist working in South Yarra. I work 5 days a week including Saturday, so I get a week day off.My hours vary a little due to working one late night a week otherwise I have the luxury of starting at 10 in the mornings and usually finish around 6. During my working week I tend to keep a low profile.Outside of work I have many varied interests, I enjoy cooking , I am told Im good! I like to potter in the garden,at the moment I have a court yard full of plants varying from herbs to flowers etc. I love social interaction ie movies, exhibitions, coffee, dinner etc. I like a balance of social time and my own space. I have shared for many years and I am very aware of the dynamics required for a happy house hold. I am house proud and like a nice clean environment but I am not OCD. I am reliable with rent, utilities etc. I can provide glowing references. Ideally I would like to share with someone who is not a recluse and has the time to chat about your day.On the other hand I am respectful of personal space. I look forward to chatting further with those interested in my profile. Regards Andrea.
Hi I'm a 28yr old Brit who's been in Oz for two and a half years, spent my career before moving out here as marine engineer working on cruise ships, currently working full time in Mulgrave. I'm a clean, tidy and respectful person and have no problem sharing with men, women or couples. Currently single and looking to meet new people and friends. I love a beer and a good time but also work hard and will spend most nights just chilling out. Looking for a friendly warm environment and no drama
I work full time but I am also very social but I also like my alone time at some times. I love watching movies and having drinks and cooking. I do like to keep where I live neat and tidy so I would want to live with someone who also likes this
