Hi, I’m Martin or Marty as most people call me. A quick snap shot of me: I am professionally employed in medical travel assistance and recently moved back to Brisbane after living in Sydney for 20 years. I am a quite an active person who is getting back into competitive cycling again with the aim to start club racing again in the New Year. I love the outdoors and keeping fit and healthy – hiking, camping, sand, surf and adrenaline sports..anything outdoors basically. I like to cook and entertain and enjoy the company of my friends and meeting new people. As my friends are spread out down the east coast of Australia, I regularly visit Sydney and Tasmania, plus the yearly overseas trips to explore off the beaten track places. I do have a substantial amount of furniture (2 bedroom house) and this can be put into storage if needed or can be added if required. There is so much more I can write here, but would rather it come out during a conversation when we meet.
I'm currently a uni student living in a student accommodation. I usually have a lot of work to do, but I like to hang out too on the weekends. I'm nice and friendly. Very clean and tidy when it comes to it and it'd be good to live with like-minded people. If you are interested please contact me and we can meet for a chat and settle into an agreement :)
Hi - my name is Victoria, I'm a 30 year old working professional, live a healthy and active lifestyle.. Looking for an apartment to share with someone. Interested in the city, kangaroo point or Newstead. Available to move the first week of Jan:)
I currently work part time as a software developer in Fortitude Valley. I've been studying Engineering full time at UQ up until this semester but may be putting that on the backburner in favour of earning money. Right now I live on the Gold Coast. The commute is killing me, so I'd like to move within a 5km radius of the CBD. I'm a drummer, so it would be cool if you could tolerate the tapping of an electric kit or practise pads (not going to even try to bring my acoustic kit up), however it's not a must. Musicians are a plus, especially if you're down for a jam. I like cooking when I have the time, so bonus points for gas. Pets are cool provided they're well looked after and don't keep anyone awake during the night. If your ideal Friday night involves craft beer, metal, jazz, or burgers (or some combination of those) then I'm your guy
Hi, My name is Olivia and I'm a 23-year-old Bond uni student. I'm currently finishing my Masters of Counselling and are currently looking for a place. I am a fun bubbly person, however, I do enjoy my space. I'm extremely laid back and easy going. I'm always up for a chat!!!
Hello! We are two quiet, clean and friendly gals just looking for two separate rooms in a house in Kelvin Grove or in the surrounding area :) Looking to move in sometime between the middle of January and the middle of February!
I am Thom, I am 20 years old, and I am staying in Brisbane until the 28th of January. I am doing an unpaid internship over here as part of a course of my university study International Business Administration which I follow in the Netherlands. I am an easy-going guy, like to chat about different things (cultures, hobby's, sports etc), and liked to explore the city thus far. Furthermore I like keeping everything clean, especially if it is something that is shared between everyone. I am looking for another fun place to stay for about four weeks. Since I am leaving Australia on the 28th of January, and my current lease ends at the 3rd of January, I am looking to fill that gap in between. :) Looking forward to hear from all of you!
Currently working at QUT Kelvin Grove and living on the Sunshine Coast with my wife and kids. I'm looking for a place to stay Monday to Thursday to avoid having to commute every day. I'm a software engineer and pretty easy going. I like a quiet beer or two, but not into partying.
I am a female backpacker from Japan, on a way of her round- the-world trip. I am a curious person who loves to learn and study anything new, and like to share our backgrounds and experiences with people. I have a lot of hobby (travel, outdooring, cooking, scuba, snowboarding, photos and etc.) so it would be nice to share our common hobby : ) Plus, I am tidy, respective, peaceful, clean, and definitely not a party person. I won't ruin anything in your house but always keep it in harmony : )
Hello! I am Lacey:) I am clean and tidy and work full time but also don't mind going out and having wine & cheese nights. I would like to live with someone who is friendly as well!
Hey, I'm a 19 (almost 20) yr old fun and responsible dental assistant! I'm a very clean and considerate person whom loves reading and hanging out in my spare time! I'm not a loud person, but am very friendly and approachable! I am looking to move during decemeber sometime! I don't have a lot of furniture, and am mostly interested in furnished rooms! I own my own car so would also need safe parking available as well! Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me, and look forward to hearing from you! :)
I'm 17, and have just graduated from high school. I'm currently working part time in the fast food industry, however I'm looking to move closer to Brisbane in order to make the transition into university easier and also have more opportunities and resources at my finger tips. Due to only just finishing high school I do not have a lot of money to spend and am looking for a more affordable alternative. I am a person who usually likes to keep to themselves however I enjoy a good conversation and a laugh. I'm responsible and respectful towards others and don't pass any judgment, as I'm pretty easy going in general. I am willing to pitch in and help out whenever I'm needed and appreciate cleanliness and organisation.

Experienced share houser moving back to Brisbane after 5 years in Canberra. Clean, respectful, good cook, appreciator of wine and good music.
I am currently working in the Valley and am looking to move closer to work. I currently live in Ipswich and the commute is getting too much. I'm easy going, don't mind having a chat or a couple drinks. I also don't mind keeping to myself. I'm very tidy and reliable.

We are a married couple setting up a new life in Brisbane from the uk. We move to Brisbane on the 5th January We are looking for somewhere short term 3-6 months fairly close to the CBD. Would like to stay with another couple or single person rather than sharing with a number of people
I brew my own beer, am a decent cook when I get around to it, and generally keep to myself but can get along with anyone just fine. I work in hospitality and am quite an active, outdoorsy person. I am relatively clean and hygenic and therefore looking for a clean, furnished room.
I am a brazilian researcher on creative economy and I am gonna stay in Brisbane for 5 months working at QUT Kelvin Grove. I am 32 years old, a nice guy, open minded, vegetarian, gay, nerd-geek, enjoy to take a glass or tow of wine in the after-work. And also, have funny moments at the weekend. At home I usually stay in room studying and working. I live by myself since 17 years, so I am organized and clean with house. :)
Hey guys! I'm Daya and I'm a student at QUT, working part time throughout my semester and full time during holidays as a disability support worker. I'm a clean, tidy and respectful and super easy to get along with. I don't smoke nor drink and I love to have a good laugh and chat with my housemate(s), but I like a quiet place, therefore I'm NOT looking for a party house. :-) I do go out throughout the week for dance classes but I'm peace and quiet when I come back. :-) I would like to live in walking distance to Kelvin Grove campus or anywhere with easy access to a bus or train station. I have a car and a car spot either garage or easy on street parking would be great as I use my car quite a lot. I do have my own bed room furniture, so I'm looking for an unfurnished place, but with a built in wardrobe :-) Looking forward to checking out your place! Daya
Hey! :) I'm Steph, I'm 28, I work full time and study part time, I'm pretty neat and like a clean and tidy house (as long as the main areas like kitchen and lounge etc are tidy I don't care about your bedroom lol mine is usually pretty messy but that's why there's a door.. to close it and forget about it... haha) :) I'm looking to live around the Northside somewhere, places like Lutwyche, Arana Hills, Windsor, Aspley, Bridgeman Downs, Alderley, Kedron, Kelvin Grove :) Ok... so I know a lot of people don't wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! lol :) My boy is 8 and a half, so he can pretty much look after himself lol He looooves playing xbox and would loooove to have an xbox buddy to play GTA with lol He's also really good at drawing and making things. We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol she actually loves dogs too, we used to have a beagle and theyd play fight and snuggle up together :) so cute! Anyhoo, I'm looking another person to get a house together. Don't mind if its a girl or guy, as long as you're reliable and pay rent on time, respectful, have a stable income, funny, around similar age, and are actually serious about all of this and not just purely looking for a live in f buddy :/ lol I'd prefer a house rather than a unit. It'd be cool if it had a deck and nice yard and maybe even a pool !?! :D and undercover parking (lock up garage) would be ideal, as i just bought myself a BMW so I don't want that to get wrecked lol I've seen houses where they have 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs. That kind of thing would be good coz i do like and neeeeeed my privacy and own space at times, as im sure you would too, so for example we could have the 2 downstairs bedrooms and you could have the upstairs (or vice versa) that way we each have our own space, own lounge area and bathrooms and just share the kitchen pretty much lol Cost wise, i think its easiest to just split everything equally (rent, bills etc) but that can all be worked out when we found a place we liked :) I have all the furniture already, big leather lounge, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, dryer, foxtel (priorities people!) lol and then plates cups blah blah blah :) you'd only need your bedroom stuff really :) I'd also be super keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) I looooove cooking and literally make the best caramel tarts you'll ever eat (i have references for this lol), im pretty easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So you'd definitely have to be funny, easy going, down to earth and be able to take a joke lol I do smoke on the odd occasion and if i do its only ever outside and i usually go shower straight after as i hate the smell lol i know... weirdo... haha I love going to the drive in movies, bowling, to the park and the beach and would really love to get a puppy! So if you've already got a dog that's good with kids that'd be so awesome! Anyway, if you're interested just send me a text and we could set up a time to meet to see how we get along :) hopefully hear from you soon :) Ps. Also, i have been fkd around a lot on here so please only message me if you're actually genuine about finding a house, not just sex on call... :| lol Thanks :)
Hi, I'm an ex chef currently transitioning into a new career as a construction manager. I work full time as a cadet and also study full time online, yet I still have plenty of time to enjoy life. I'm pretty easy going, I have a broad sense of humour and I like a good chat. I've travelled extensively as part of my previous career so happy to share stories. Looking to move and get settled before the Christmas madness sets in!
Hi :) I'm an easy going music student, I play guitar and sing. But I'm always respectful with my noise. I am studying in south brisbane so I'd like to live within approx 30mins of uni (on public transport), I do also have a car though. Ideally I'd like to find some people that I get along with well, I am good at just keeping to myself, but would prefer to make some friends :) My ideal place would have a fairly large bedroom (I have a fair bit of music gear etc) and a bathroom to myself or one that doesn't have to be shared with too many people. Also my boyfriend lives on the Sunshine Coast and sometimes comes over on weekends so it would be good if the house was okay with that . Thankyou :)
I'm originally from the UK, over here on a working holiday visa until February so I would be looking for somewhere until then. I'm currently working in the CBD for an insurance company. Wanting to find a fully furnished private room, ideally within 30mins walk of the city.
I am a clean, tidy person, and will respect your private space, but also would love to socialise by watching movies/ TV, playing board games or enjoying a nice household dinner and drinks. Currently have teamed up with 2 other girls who are also 20yo and are all wanting a 4th roommate.
Exceptionally clean and tidy, very thoughtful and caring people. We arequite sociable but will also respect your privacy. I am from the UK, travelling with my partner, we are both mid twenties. We have just landed in Australia, so will be looking for full time jobs asap. Shaun is a commercial diver and I work in admin/hospitality. We are very hard working people
Hi I'm Bryce, I'm a 29 year old Australian guy originally from near the Sunshine Coast, my gf Karli is Canadian (Alberta) on a work visa here and I have close American friend John (Colorado) who is arriving in January on a work visa. We are currently looking for 2/3 bedroom house or unit to move into around the beginning of February. Not opposed to moving into a place with another person to make it 4 people, within reason (i.e. relatively large place). I work in the oil & gas/mining exploration industry, and I also have a small scale GIS business on the side when I'm not working away in the field. Karli is finishing a Masters in Communication/PR at uni and has been working as a bar tender, and John has just finished 8 months working at a research station down in Antartica and will most likely be working for the exploration company I work for early next year. We are all fairly well travelled and love to have a chat! If your place sounds like a perfect place for us to move into and around the time we are looking at, please hit me up!
I'm a Registered Nurse from Canada (enough said?) looking for a furnished room. I'm very easy going and tidy (but not too tidy :)) I like to sleep, I'm not a morning person, and I'll be working 12 hour shifts at a local hospital, but am very respectful of my housemates. Ideally I would love to live with some like minded people, open to hanging out and meeting new people (I'm new to the city) , sharing dinner or going out for drinks. I'm a non-smoker (of cigarettes). Let me know if you want to live together! Please do not contact me if your place does not meet my requirements. I am NOT interested in shared rooms, I am NOT a student, and I am NOT interested in solo apartments. NO SPAM PLEASE!
Hi there! I'm a bubbly and friendly 19 year old Aussie girl looking to move out of home. I currently work part time but am looking for a full time job to start asap. I'm tidy and quiet but would love to be able to have my boyfriend stay over occasionally. I don't smoke and i barely drink.
Myself & my partner are due to move overseas in around 15 months so are looking to move into a property to cut the costs on our current house. Ideally we are looking for a house share with a private area, such as a bedroom & lounge area solely for our use. We are both 27 and working full time, myself in marketing and my partner in finance. We have been a couple for 6 years and are well travelled with having previously lived in the UK, America and now Brisbane together. We love animals but have none of our own so any place with a dog would be a huge plus for us! We are both non smokers & enjoy going our for dinner & bars, not party animals but enjoy drinks on the weekend with friends.
Hi there, I just recently moved up from Sydney and have been living on the Gold coast, I am now looking to move to Brisbane due to work. looking at 6 months to a year lease, looking for cool/ down to earth roommates, I work Monday – Friday, when I am not working you’ll find me at the gym as Health and Fitness is my passion. I am flexi with the moving date. I am a down to earth chilled guy ( from the country) always up for a laugh, I am a clean and tidy person, love a beer on weekends and going out from time to time. If you want to know more please just ask! Thanks, Damian mething
Recently turned 19, I work 30 hours a week - looking to increase this to 40 hours. I'm a pretty chill person, happy to share my food and pretty much anything else i own - i understand if your not happy to do the same :) I like to keep all common areas tidy however my room will most likely be less tidy as im normally in a rush when changing clothes This will be my second time living out of home, I am respectful of your privacy and requirements such as noise restrictions and personal space. I'm very sociable and i do like to go out often, I'm also not one to shy away from a few drinks here and there - if I'm being completely honest i will fit more in a household with people who enjoy working hard during the week and like to relax with a few drinks on weekeds- or at least poeple who dont mind that i like to
Hey! We are two Swedish girls travelling Australia looking for a room to share til the end of the year (29th of December) before we start our travelling around the country. Both of us are working part-time in the city. We are friendly, laid back and tidy. I believe we're easy to get along with. Both me and Gaby are social and have a pretty active life style so wont be sitting around the house all day. Anything you would like to know just ask us. We look forward to hearing from you soon! Regards Pim & Gaby
Hi, I am Ash. A 25yr old male. Full time finance professional working in the city. Non-smoker and have no pets. Fun-loving guy who likes to travel a lot and explore new places. Occasionally I indulge in a fancy dinner with wine. Amateur photographer who also loves listening to music. Thanks :)
I am a young clean guy who is hoping to find a place to live for the next 1year + as I am trying to save to buy a house. Prefer my own bathroom. Will spend only $200(ish) as what I am currently spending is too much for my liking. Will be respectful and tidy, Thanks!
I'm working full time and study full time so like the house to be clean and quite (with in reason) during the week, and enjoy a few drinks on weekends and night time. Am interested in teaming up with someone to get a apartment together or move in with someone else.
Hi Guys, I have recently moved back to Brisbane after being in north QLD for the last 3 years. I work full time in toowong, mon-sat with 2 RDO a month ideally, I want to pay 100-200 depending on the property. I like to be social and go have fun when I can, I would prefer people who are relaxed and easy going and who I can have a beer and a laugh with. Along with being respectful and hygienic! please let me know what's available and the specs. thanks! tori
A couple of Pommes moving to Brisbane, both healthcare professionals we are looking for somewhere to base ourselves whilst we organise employment and get to know the city. Ideally we want a room with en-suit. We are socialable but also respect privacy, both of us can cook and one of us enjoys all sport and needs educating in Aussie rules and NRL!
I am currently doing undergrad at UQ (full-time). Looking to share a house with mature and clean flatmates. I am working part-time and enjoy improving my fitness when I am free. Not much of a party person (I am rather private and prefer to have my own space from time to time), but I enjoy intellectual conversations with people.
Hello world this is Ann and Jessica. We are going to be moving to Brisbane in March sometime. We are both full time students, Jessica is studying a double bachelor of arts/business and Ann is studying bachelor of nursing. We both have permanent jobs as personal carers (aged care facility). We can be quiet at first but we are easy to get along with, always clean up after ourselves and have our rent paid on time. We enjoy having a couple of drinks every now and then and we are always up for a chat and laugh. Already have most of the furniture organised and you will only need to bring the furniture for your room. We have 2 small dogs and a cat so you must get along with animals.
Shalom! My name is Chevy, I'm a 19 year old author, blogger and columnist! I am looking for a cool guy or gal to stay with in or around the city from January onwards in order to look for part/full time work. I can teach you Hebrew phrases and cook you Kebabs. We can be partners, conspirators. We will plot our takeover. It will be just like in the movies. I've grown up in the suburbs and also in the sticks - I lived in a small rural town, in fact so small it can no longer even be found on maps, and attended a school with only twelve or so other students (what?). Shortly after moving to the suburbs, the school closed down and the town was virtually abandoned. I grew up in Upper Caboolture for about eight years before moving West to Kilcoy, where I have been for the last six or so years. In my spare time I am a blogger and a collumnist, and I am about to publish a non-ficton book on the changing dynamic of power in the Middle East. At the same time I play Minecraft and my eating habits are ridiculous, so I am still quite the typical teenager. Just a little different. Let's you and I get in contact!
