I'm looking for a nice apartment and a house with a good friend(housemate) :) I'm studying Master of Architecture and working in an Architectural firm far away from city but love to live in the city. I just came back from trip and started looking for apartments and found some really good ones. I've started gym and swimming and love to hang out with friends.
Hi! I have lived in my fair share of share houses so I am respectful and tidy :) I am friendly but also pretty quiet, non-smoker, and quite busy so I'm not home too often.
Hey Me and Tacu met up first on our farming time last year We're both very easy going and even the age different doesn't matter ! We'd like to find some sharehouse because we're now bored by just staying in hostels In brissie we are both looking for some jobs Please let me know if there's some free place for us ! Cheers john
Hey! my name is Isobel, i'm looking to team up with people around the same age as me to move into a place early February. I'm looking for a modern 4/3/2 bedroom house/apartment around Kelvin Grove, Paddington, Alderley, Milton, Herston, Spring Hill, and Red Hill, anywhere close to the city really. I'm 19 and I study at QUT full time (Bachelors of Business and Fine Art (Interactive Visual Design) and I work part time in hospitality. I'm fun, easy going, creative, very clean and respectful. I'm quiet social and love hanging out but I understand personal space. I love watching movies/ tv and love to cook healthy meals. Send me a message if there's anything else you want to know about me! :)
Hey! I'm Emily, 20 years old and a student. I study at QUT and am a second year Secondary Education student majoring in History. I work part time at an Outside School Hours Care in Moggill and at Suncorp Stadium as Bar Staff. I'm friendly and quiet but still happy to be social with my new roomies. I've lived in share houses for four years and have shared with lots of different people, all ages, genders and nationalities. I'm an animal lover so pets are no issue for me, I'd say they're encouraged :) I'm looking for a place with easy access to public transport (specifically train stations or the 444 bus) and an unfurnished room is a must as I have a queen sized bed, desk and other miscellaneous bits of furniture and preferably somewhere air-conditioned because I am a wuss and this Brisbane heat is getting to me. I've joined a gym and attempt to go often but it usually ends in completing my Gilmore Girls binge on Netflix, my favourite pastime. I'm way too excited for Game of Thrones to return this year and roommates who watch it with me are encouraged to message me. Bonus points if you love Harry Potter. I can be a little flexible with the move date and am happy to overlap for a week or two if the right place comes along, If you want to know anything else just shoot me a message, I'm more than happy to answer any of your questions :) I'm happy to live with people in their 20s/early 30s, male or female houses don't bother me, students would be great so we can all suffer together at exam time! Not looking to share a bedroom though. (The easiest way to contact me is through flatmates rather than a phone call as I'm often working or won't pick up unknown numbers)
I am an active guy, working in a mining company as an engineer. I do 8-6 Fly in fly out from a site near Darwin. Quite sincere about living a healthy lifestyle, and usually spend my free time studying for my part-time MBA, listening to music and hanging out with friends. I lived in Perth for 5 years.
I'm currently studying my first year of Uni in Brisbane, and am looking for a place to move into ASAP! I'm extremely clean, self sufficient and friendly. I am from the South side but am in desperate need of somewhere closer to Uni, as my current situation isn't an option for much longer. In my spare time I love watching TV (Game of Thrones especially), but mostly spending time with friends.
42yr Old professional, very tidy and easy to get along with. Looking to move in with great positive people. Move in date will be toward the end of March. Place with Aircon preferred.
I'm a young, reliable teen looking to move to the big city. Decided for a change and where else but the big city. I'm hoping to be there by January 2017. I'm a fashion illustrator, want-to-be actor. I love animals cats or dogs. Stick to myself but once you get to know me, I believe we will be amazing friends.
I'm moving from VIC to QLD. Looking for full time work (contract here just ended). I'm quiet, easy going, mature minded and private. I like my own space, as much as I enjoy sharing a meal with the people I'm around. I cook, I clean, I sing and I get along with most people :) I do have 2 kids who are currently schooling with their dad and will be staying with me every second weekend. Please keep that in mind before contacting me. They're 8 and 10, well behaved and considerate.
Hi Jim. I'm studying full-time at QUT to become paramedic. I also work part-time or full-time as bartender depending on the season. Both are interesting but you get absolutely no sleep. I'm a friendly guy who likes to chat and drink with others; but when I'm home I prefer some privacy and quiet in my room to wind down (no party houses). Looking for a place close to work with easy access to public transport to the QUT campuses or city. I also have a car that I use for work , so off-street parking would be a bonus but not necessary if public transport is easily accessible. During my downtime at home I prefer reading, binge watching TV series, video gaming (headphones at night), or trying out cocktail recipes from the bar.
Im a peruvian abroad studying a masters in marketing at Griffith University. Also have a part time job mostly on weekends so im barely home. I love a house that is tidy and clean and were my flatmates are easy going. I love animals so I would be more than happy to have them hanging with me. Love to run and every once have a glass of wine.
I am currently studying Sustainable Agriculture in Germany. This February I will start my semester abroad at the QUT. I am looking forward to get to know Brisbane and its people. I am tidy and reliable. Of course i respect your privacy but i don't mind to have a drink with you. I am keen to meet you.
Hi future housemate(s)! We are currently inspecting houses in the Inner North of Brisbane. Our ideal house should be quiet but close to public transport, preferably have a gas stove and air-con. A garden and/or nice deck would be great as well. And we love timber floors and VJ boards. Depending on what comes up, we'd either like to find another couple or just a single person to live with. A little about us: Paul runs a home maintenance business and loves spending time out in the bush or creating things in his workshop. Sarah is a self-employed German tutor and enjoys meeting friends, museums and music. Both of us like watching movies, drinking coffee or wine, hiking, exploring and getting out of the city. We're not the kind of couple that you will always find together doing the same thing but we're quite independent. We also have a geriatric cat named Tom (seriously, he is 21!) who may or may not still be around when we're moving house. But not looking at getting another one after him. It would be great to find someone who is looking for a home and not just a house, appreciates the good things in life, is somewhat clean and knows how to run a house and simply enjoys living with other people. Our move-date is flexible and we're really just looking for the right place. Please get in contact if you think we could be a fit! Cheers, Sarah and Paul
I am currently renting in Newmarket. I'm in the downstairs of a large Queenslander that was set up as a b&b and the other flatmate is an elderly man who is working and very easy to get along with. However, I would love to get into accommodation with younger and more vibrant people. I gym regularly, I have been in marketing and now moving into finance management at Natureworks - the No Poo Zoo out in Highvale in the jungle!! I use to spend every weekend working on my acreage in Samford. Now that I'm in the city I'm looking for people to hang out with on weekends and do anything social. NOT BINGO :) I have my own rockclimbing shoes; harness, I road cycle with the City Lifecycle, my boyfriend takes me jet skiing occasionally, however would be great to have people around me who are energetic, enthusiastic and adventurous to add to my life. Doing things that don't necessarily take a lot of $$ is great. I want to buy a house in inner city, but that's proving a challenge in this current market. I have 3 daughters all finished uni and living in city - doing their own thing. I do love to have the occasional dinner party with them. They are all bright, friendly and balanced. 2 with steady boyfriends, one on the prowl again :) I have Hungarian blood in me - so in the past I have loved to party but I am mellowing a little there and looking after my health more. I have a cousin from Hungary and his son coming to visit me for 3 weeks in February which I am excited about. I am very health conscious and would rather cook than buy takeaway. I'm very clean and neat and always happy to help if someone's doing it tough. I love to travel, however have to save for the next trip after 3 holidays last year - skiing, Barossa and a cruise. I do have my own friends who I see socially occasionally however they are all busy with their own families and usually not available to hang out with on weekends etc. I love celebrating family, Christmas, birthdays and just loving life.
I'm a 22 year old student at QUT, and I work part time in a call centre in Spring Hill. In my spare time, you'll find me listening to music, reading, out with friends, keeping active and watching movies. I'm a quiet, considerate, clean and friendly person who doesn't mind a good chat with his housemates but respects the space that people need. I am reliable in regards to paying rent/bills as I utilise direct debt to ensure everything is on time. My move date is flexible if needed.
Hey I'm Emma! I'm currently studying a dual degree at QUT and my spare hours are usually spent working or sleeping. Evidently, I am quite reserved but I am always excited to meet and get to know new people.
Hello, I'm an American from Chicago on a working holiday visa until 2018. I also play for a local soccer club here in Brisbane so Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday I'm usually away. I'm outgoing and social but I also respect other's space.
I'm simple and easy going person and want to live in silent but sometimes fun and exciting environment. I like to explore new places and learn new skills and cultures. Let me know if you have fit place for me. Waiting to see you. Thanks.
I'm a pretty laid back guy that gets along with most people. I'm generally pretty quiet and always clean up after myself. Studying Chemical Engineering/Chemistry at UQ. When I'm not at uni I'm usually working as a cook. Used to live in Perth and moved to Brisbane 2 years ago. Still don't know too many people so 100% down for socialising with flatmates.
I currently live in Cairns, Australia. I like playing video games on all platforms with my friends. I also like to play a wide variety of sports with my favourite sport being football (soccer). Will be studying b. of enginneering(honours)/b. of Information Technology at QUT Gardens Point.
I am a reliable roommate from Germany, always up to something fun or new. I never had any problems with my former roommates or travel partners and can get along with almost everybody. My former landlord didn´t complain about anything and if needed, I can provide her contact details. I lived while studying in Leipzig, Germany with two veterinaries and we used to go out, cook or just hang out on the balcony, drinking some beer. After I moved out I was pretty missed and I still visit them from time to time. So if this sounds good, just contact me. I´d be happy to be your new roommate or tenant.
Relaxed friendly clean. Like art, sports, music, gardening and pets. I'm pretty easy going but not an early bird. Like to cook maybe share a few dinners and glass of wine. Work part time as a visual merchandiser, like to paint, garden and swim in my spare time. I'm originally from Melbourne and moved to Brisbane a yr ago. I have a 16 yr ok daughter u who would visit a few times a yr. I love all sports especially AFL abducted enjoy going to see live music. I also have a beautiful 9yr old dog , golden retriever / samoyed who I hope to bring up from Melbourne. She is quite friendly well trained and generally just loves company and to just hang out and watch the goings on of the house. Would love a chilled vibe with no dramas.
I make breakfasts that Ron Swanson would be proud of and always do dishes. Studying film at Griffith, delivering pizza, looking to live with a bunch of people who like to make cool stuff n talk about feminism n watch Broad City.
Hi I am Sacha. We are a couple, back from overseas in Brisbane. Happy with Brisbane or Gold Coast (we love the city & the beach). No early bird access unfortunately. Needing own room with reliable internet (I work online in case that is an issue for you), and walking distance to supermarket and public transport. Love fortitude Valley, St Lucia and near Milton (where I have been staying) too so far. Enjoy locations with shops and transport close by. Ready to move after 22nd January. Can commit to 1- 6 months or longer if need be (flexible). Clean, quiet, friendly, independent. Needing reasonable rent and bond too. This site won't allow me to leave my ph but i can email it to you if you send me a message. Thanks again Sacha. Respectful, quiet, friendly, busy and independent. All normal things really. Enjoy cooking, exercising, reading, watching tv and film and heading out occasionally. Not a party animal but happy to have a glass of wine and have a laugh. As we have many friends across the world of many ages, we generally get along well with anyone so long as they are happy, quiet to share with, clean up after themselves & enjoy a laugh (all the normal things really). Outside of work we enjoy keeping fit, reading, tv and film, music, a glass of wine, bicycle riding, the sunshine, markets. Enjoy gardening too if you need help with plants / garden too.
I am a friendly, easy going, honest, reliable and respectful person. I enjoy having a night out every now and then and socializing, I also enjoy my down time to re charge. I am a full time worker (Monday-Friday office hours) and head to gym after work. I am a clean person and always clean up after myself. I have lived in Brisbane for just over a year now and feel there is still so much to see! so i am eager to explore and find delicious food. I am always up for a laugh and an adventure. Looking for an unfurnished room, preferably with own bathroom and air-conditioning - In a happy, trustworthy, respectful and comfortable place.

Hello, I'm a first year uni student at QUT Gardens point, about to study architecture. I am pretty out going, love sports and art! I also love to keep my room tidy and clean as well :) If interested please send me a message!
Moving to the Brisbane area in early February for work. I'm 40, non smoker, social drinker who is looking for quiet tidy place to stay that will allow me easy access to the Brisbane region whilst working in the area.
I'm pretty laid back but tidy, and I don't mind sharing a beer or two every now and then. I'm respectful of people's privacy and belongings and I'm definitely not a grub. Not OCD either, but relatively clean and happy to pitch in with house work and what not.
I'm a career driven law grad. Lover of travel, trying new things, sports, live music, BBQs and craft beers. I'm tidy and easy-going. I'm social but I also need my privacy. I have questionable taste in television shows (my guilty pleasure is bad reality TV). Looking for a household with like minded roommates I can call friends.
Hi, I'll be new to the Brisbane region, moving from Bundaberg. I am an Assistant in Nursing. I'm just looking for a room until I get on my feet and settle in to get a place of my own. I'm very tidy and I like to keep to myself but I also like to be social, I believe live and let live, I'm non judgemental, really appreciate the help anyone can offer. Thank you all :)
Hey guys! I'm Tahlia! I'm currently living in a share house on the north side of Brisbane but I'd love to move out and get closer to the city. I'm looking for a housemate that's probably between the ages of 21 and 25. I'm 21. I'm a very quiet and reserved person but I love to have a laugh. I'm a neat and tidy person, I like having a clean house but my bedroom does tend to get a bit messy, I do a clean on weekends when I'm not working. On one hand I'm quite the hermit, I'll happily sit at home and do a Netflix Marathon all day but on the other hand I love to be outside and exploring new places or going to the beach. I'm a non smoker and rare drinker, I don't like to party and I go to bed early. I'm a musician and a beginner pole dancer. I love food, books, photography and videography and if there's an animal around, there's a 100% chance I'll talk to it rather than any humans nearby. I have a pet - you'll need to be open minded because she's a rat. I know I know, a rat definitely wasn't my first choice of pet either but she was so darn cute I couldn't resist! She IS strictly an outside pet though but she comes inside for cuddles. I also have a gorgeous cat called Turtle who lives with my parents - I would love to bring her up to live with me if it's at all possible but it depends on the living situation. I need to move into a place where I can put my car under cover or in a shed and I have a jewellers bench that I also need to put somewhere - a shed is ideal for that too. I would prefer to be able to spread out my belongings throughout a house as I have too many things to keep in one bedroom. I would love to live much closer to the city, 15 minutes or under would be amazing. Travelling to work from where I live now is getting super expensive! I'd also prefer to move in with just one person. If we team up, I would prefer that we find a 3 bedroom place so that my parents, and friends, have a place to stay when they visit from NSW. I ask that my new roommate doesn't smoke please! If i sound like someone you would like to live with, feel free to contact me and we can meet up for coffee and chat sometime!
Originally from Canada I moved here 6 years ago. I am clean, reliable, friendly and fun to be around. I work as an exercise physiologist in my own practice as well as subcontracting for another company.
I am a student who will be studying Nutrition at QUT starting mid 2016. I'm a pretty bubbly ,outgoing and easy person, would love to hangout and be sociable but I also understand space. I'm a pretty tidy person, take pride in where I live and my belongings. Send me a message if you have something suitable!
My name is Joaquin and I'm 21 years of age. I'm a student from Madrid, Spain. I have already lived in Brisbane for 6 months and now I'm looking for a different place to stay after the Christmas break. I'm studying Mechanical Engineering at UQ. I'm organized but not strict, I respect others private space but I also enjoy conversation and having a drink with my flatmates. I enjoy watching movies and football games. I play sports (football and soccer) and I love going on day trips to the beach or to a national park. I'm also good at cooking and I don't smoke.
Hi there, this is Nemo, an international student from Shanghai, I have been living in Brisbane almost 3 years, it is a beautiful city. I am female, easy going person, wanna looking for a room near to the city.:)
I would like to rent a room in a quiet apartment, with shared kitchen and toilet-bathroom. I am a clean person, easygoing, very open and tolerant for everything, no smoker but I have no problem to live with people who smoke. I would prefer to stay in an place without pets (even if I like pets). it is not necessary for me to live in city centre.
I am liberal minded yet mature and experienced but somehow also manage to be young at heart. Happily, unsmugly married and very independent, I do believe strongly in family, love, inclusion. I'm on working holiday from UK where I've lived/worked/loved for 22 yrs, originally from Newcastle,NSW. Also lived in Sydney &Melbourne & have travelled heaps. Extremely proud to be Australian. I'm clean & tidy but, as a Bartender, I don't mind a bit of organised chaos. I'm quite partial to a Single Malt, once or twice a week at most.
I am a student going into my 3rd year of studying criminology. I am very social and love meeting new people, I work at boost juice so I can make a mean smoothie. I'm clean, well spoken, respectful and easy to get along with, just looking for some like minded people to live with and have fun while doing it
