Hey guys I'm a 21 year old, mature and outgoing person looking for a new place to move into with like-minded people. I'm very clean and tidy, respectful and a trustworthy person. I work full time at a hospital and therefore I am fairly busy through the working week. I'm no party animal, however I do enjoy having a wine or two with dinner and being social with my housemates and my friends. I want a place that I can call home and where I can feel comfortable in, that is clean and tidy, with NO cats as I am allergic to cats. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hiiii! I am a Dutch girl, almost 20 years old and I am looking for a living space for 9 months since I will attempt an internship at the Brain Institute nearby UQ. For fun I like to hang out with friends to drink a couple of beers, go out, grab a movie or just chill on the couch. I am an easy going person who fits well in company, but you hear that a lot on this site :) anyway, I also like sports and have been swimming for 11 years now. If there is anything else you would like to know and you have a place to live to rent, send me a message!
I work full-time and also study at university (6 months left until I graduate). I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Feel free to chill in your room or join me in watching a TV show, I don't mind! If any of us want to have friends over for a drink etc. every now and then, the only rule is you must save your housemate(s) a drink! I'm a pretty clean/tidy individual, and I won't chuck a tantrum if you forget to do the dishes one night. I don't smoke or have a pet either. If we can keep everything reasonably clean and pay the rent on time, we will get along fine! I am potentially moving into a new apartment in my current complex, and would like to find another housemate to take the second bedroom. I hope to have it sorted by early/mid June. Rent would be around $200 per week. I'm also open to finding a new place as a teamup.
Interested in whom I share the accommodation with more than the housing unit. Even if you have a cramped basement but deem your place to excel in some regard, hit me up. I mostly spend my time tinkering with electronics, or on my computer, but I would like to change that and be more outdoorsy when I get there. If your electronics break, its a perk to have me around :) Electrical Engineer from United States, currently working for Panasonic, permanently settling in Australia, flying in this May, will backpack for a bit and then look to rent a place starting June. Also I am not familiar with Brisbane or Cold Coast suburbs, but somewhere close to the city center is a plus. Washer/Dryer are a must, preferably with fast internet. If you message me please have photos posted, and total cost with utilities, please don't just point me to your page.
My name is Alison and I'm an American student who will be studying at the Queensland University of Technology starting in July. I'm 21 years old, and I live in Wyoming, a western state in the USA (think Yellowstone National Park and cowboys haha). Currently, I'm studying business Marketing, with minors in International Business and Graphic Design. One thing that I really enjoy doing is traveling, so I'm excited to be studying in Australia, and I can't wait to explore the country and the Asia-Pacific in general. I studied abroad in Germany last year, I love reading, and I also love playing sports, like basketball. I'm very hard working and responsible, and I love to laugh! Let me know if you need any other information from me. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, my name is Stefanie and I am a research master's student from the Netherlands. I study Migration, Ethnic Relations & Multiculturalism at Utrecht University and I'm very excited to be doing research at the University of Queensland this summer. In my free time, I hope to explore some of Australia's beautiful nature. Moreover, I'm always up for doing something fun. I love cycling and swimming and I'm a big fan of the small independent cinemas in my hometown. I am looking for a room for the months June, July, and August (I will be leaving in the week of the 21st), preferably close to the School of Psychology. I'd be very happy to share an apartment with other people, but during the weekdays I will probably at the University most of the day. So don't expect a party animal.
I love to cook, like to keep things clean and tidy and am a respectful, social guy. I work in IT but not in any normal sense =) and I travel quite a bit internationally for work. I'm passionate scuba diver and volunteer for several environmental charities and research programs around Queensland.
I work full time for a commercial music company but have a passion for photography and music. I work as a freelance photographer after hours and am a private music tutor to school aged kids. Play in a local brissy band and only a few weeks away from relaeasing a new album. I appreciate a clean house and my own space but not much better than kicking back over a brew or 5. Keep myself pretty active and like getting out and about. Not a big partier but like to keep social. Nightowl and a big movie fan.
Long term couple from Manchester, England on a working holiday visa, we have been travelling through South East Asia for the last 6 months. Danny is a gas engineer and fitness enthusiast. Lauren is a registered surgical nurse and an animal lover. We enjoy exploring our surroundings, of course travelling, the occasional Netflix series binge and all things food related. We are excited to explore Australia, starting with Brisbane. We are good team players, friendly and courteous to others.
We're a couple that has been together for 4 years, we've recently relocated from Melbourne to be closer to relatives & for work. We are looking for accomodation close to Fortitude Valley, also a space preferably with our own bathroom. We are very neat & tidy people who enjoy a bit of quiet time after work & we can respect other peoples privacy. We also love socialising with friends and family often, going out to try new cafes & keeping active (adventure walks, gym etc.) on the weekends. Our length of stay is flexible approximately 6 months, but maybe longer with the right housemate/s. If you think we could be suited as your housemates, feel free to message us :) Look forward to hearing from you, Shanelle & James
Hi, I am a PhD researcher finishing up my final year at UQ and a clinician. I live an active and healthy lifestyle, I am a non-smoker, friendly and very clean. I am at the university usually 6 days a week and gone most weekday evenings due to uni and my workout routine. I am fairly quiet but I enjoy good conversation with who I am living with. I am looking for a place preferably with just 1 person in the CBD that is non-smoking, clean and upscale. Ideally in a building that has access to a gym and sauna. I study on the Royal Brisbane Hospital campus so I would love to be in the CBD so I can walk to work each day. I am mostly vegetarian and enjoy cooking although rarely have time for much of it these days. I am flexible on my move-in date. If you would like me to pay a bond, I am glad to do so. However, I do expect it to be lodged with the RTA. This is non-negotiable. I have references if needed. If this sounds like a good fit, please contact me. Cheers, Toria
I’m Messy, real messy, previous housemates have used biohazard tape around my belongings, and me… Dogs smell me and cry… I listen to horrible music, I’m loud, emotionally reactive, solipsistic, believe Illuminati are in control of the earth and may try to convert you… …. that probably went too far. The rest of this only works if you were hoping I was joking. I'm a pretty chill, compassionate and housetrained neuroscientist effectively on sabbatical for the next 6-12 months. I try to live healthy, sustainably and love animals. Generally work long hours but looking for a homely place where I can spend the odd day plugging away at the grants from the Deck. I have my own friends and do my own thing but it’d be great to live with a fun crew, have regular interesting conversations over a drink and the odd communal feast. If I could be what you’re after, give me a yell. It’d be cool to hear more about you and see the place. Cheers Troy
Hi there! My name is Tia, I'm a 17 year old, female, full time university student currently undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing at UQ, St. Lucia. I am currently living in a sharehouse although the commute is far too long so I'm looking to transfer somewhere closer to uni and work. I have a part/time casual job in the city and enjoy exercising, playing netball and regularly going to the gym. I am an extremely neat person who always keeps their area respectable and cleans up after themselves wherever they go. I am a people-person and get along with everyone as I have a very easy-going attitude. I am looking for a reasonable sized, unfurnished bedroom with a maximum budget of $180 p/week inclusive of bills and preferably internet but it's not a deal breaker I hope to hear from you! Thankyou!

Hi my name is Hannah and I'm looking for a new fun place to live! I'm a nurse that works full time in south bank- loves to relax and have a wine when I'm not at work and enjoy spending time exploring and travelling! I work long days and regularly spend time with friends up the coast on my days off! Very outgoing, independent and fun, although I keep fairly quiet when I'm working :) Looking for somewhere fairly close to work and cafes! ** move date is flexible and possibly longer rental period
Hey, I'm 20yrs old working full time in hospitality and need to find a sharehouse for a short term stay, approx 2 months. I'm a tidy housemate, sociable but quiet. Love to cook and binge watch Netflix. Feel free to message me if I'm your girl!
Accounting student studying full-time at QUT. Cook during weekends and sometimes on weekdays as well. I play badminton regularly though if you need a companion for soccer, table tennis, or pool, I can pretty much be of a great teammate. Cleanliness is priority therefore I do spring cleaning once a week. Looking for a long term accomodation by the 1st or 2nd week of June as my current lease will be ending soon and final exams are just around the corner therefore would like to be settled down ASAP. Thanks
Hi =) Fortunately I am going to do an internship at SAP in Brisbane, starting at May 29, 2017 until October. Therefore, I need a room in or near to Brisbane, Creek Street. To give you a short summary of me, I study the master degree program Innovation Management in Germany and work for SAP. Here I live in a really beautiful flat near to Heidelberg. So I already take care of cleaning and I am very reliable. As I work a lot, I am looking for a quiet environment. Also, I enjoy cooking and having a lunch together with a glass of wine or some self-mixed cocktails. Last year, I travelled in the US where I’ ve made a lot of good experiences with sharing flats. I am going to arrive on May 25, so if you like, I could visit the flat on Friday, 26th or Sunday, 28th. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. ( Only flats with girls :) ) Kind regards Andrea
I'm so much easy going with nice energy, organizated, know how to make everything in the house (like cook, clean, wash my clothes, etc) , respectful, friendly, always up to a chat (but I respect the space of other people) and I'm clean. I am not looking a house parties but I like to chat and drink a wine and beer with friends sometimes. I'm Environmental engineering and I came to Brisbane to study Business Administration. By the way, I'm 26.
Looking anywhere on Gold Coast and Brisbane, just depends on place and flat mate. I'm easy going, very clean, quiet, respectful and pay rent and bills on time. Into fitness, nature, photography, motorcycles and hiking
We are currently working at CSIRO research center. Would like to have a shared apartment with those who love music, as we both love to play instruments in free times. Most of the times we will be at outside as we like to explore around and workout in gym.
Yulia loves talking to people, and going out and being friendly with every person she meets, I however am more reserved and tend to keep to myself more. Yulia works as a sales rep selling Hello Fresh, so get keen on those discounts, i work as a barista and a promoter, and my life isn't very exciting. Yulia is from Russia, and I am from central QLD. For fun we like to go for quiet drinks at a bar, not all that interested. Also massive fans of board games. We are looking for preferably, but not necessarily, female roommates, we cannot be split up so looking for somewhere we can both stay as we get separation anxiety. Someone we can get along with easily, clean, and would respect our personal space as well as be able to have a laugh with.
