Myself & James have recently relocated from Melbourne to be closer to relatives & for work. Hoping to find accomodation within a reasonable distance to Fortitude Valley, also a space preferably with our own bathroom. We are very neat & tidy people (we have rented prior so we do have a rental record with an agency), we do enjoy a bit of quiet time after work, I'd also say that we are an easy-going couple that can respect other peoples privacy. We love to socialise with friends & family, also going out to try new cafes & keeping active (adventure walks, gym etc.) on the weekend. Our length of stay is pretty flexible the minimum would be 4 months, but most likely longer with the right housemate/s. If you think we could be suited as your housemates, feel free to message us :)
INTJ, introvert, love nights chilling at home, don't mind going out on occasion, quiet until I get to know people. I have a ragdoll cat called Eevie who is friendly but is a mostly indoor cat (I vacuum frequently so shedding will be minimal). Also enjoy a good glass of wine. I clean as I go, non-smoker. I'm a nurse and do work shift work from time to time so need someone who is mindful of when I need to sleep during the day. Ideally would like a garage space, bath tub (my relax time!) and air con. Honestly been a while since I've been apart of a share house however I am mindful of others space and privacy, and I am responsible with being on time with rent and bills. Ideally don't want more than sharing with 2 other people.
Hey, im a mechanic. Moved up from the Burleigh Heads 2 months ago with my boarder collie bella, she is very placid and loves most other dogs. I keep to myself building my motorbike and taking bella with me every where i go. Not a big drinker or partyer, prefer to take bella hiking or to the beach on a weekend so won't be home that much. I do like to cook dinner sometimes, thai, curries or hearty roasts to share with housemates.
I'm relocating to Brisbane for a full time job in health care. I am a very neat and tidy person. I enjoy socialising but really like to have some independence and chill time after work and on weekends. Would prefer to have my own bathroom and unfurnished bedroom if possible.
Hi, I'm a native Australian, 26 years old, and work full time as a body corporate manager (I manage the financials and administration of large residential buildings). I spend most of my spare time reading, playing video games, or watching movies. I'm a bit of an introvert and I'm quiet but I'll still make an effort to get to know new people ;)
I am a Danish undergraduate student in computer science, going on exchange to University of Queensland for one semester. I also plan on doing an internship abroad, so depending on where I will get a position, I might need a room in Brisbane for one year. I am laid back and outgoing. I like to be around other people, go out and be active and do whatever fits the moment. Right now I have lived in a dorm with 22 people on the floor for almost two years, so I am used to live with other people. We share two kitchens and three bathrooms so I know how important it is to tidy up after yourself and make sure that there is space for everyone. I have been to two schools that are unique for Denmark where you live at the school sharing the room with one or two other persons, so again, I know how to live close with other people. When I am not studying, I like to hang out with people, playing games, chill in a park, go for a run or take a trip in the weekend. I like to do sports and have tried some different dances at my uni (swing, salsa and breakdance) and I have done capoeira for some years. I hope to be able to continue with some of it in Brisbane, but I also have a big plan to learn to surf and dive (I have to, I am going to Australia). I hope to find a place with some nice people (there are different kinds of nice), that I can do things with, so where I will live won't just be a place to sleep.
Easy going and social! Love a quiet drink or two over the weekend. Asides from that I Work and gym during the week. I have a very cute and friendly cat named Mikah who loves hanging out also.
We're two dudes originally from Far North Queensland looking to make a life here in Brisbane. I (Leo) have been living in Brisbane for over a year now and am currently bar tending at The Zoo (that's the venue in Fortitude Valley, not the animal prison). Also working at AMF Bowling in Mt. Gravatt which means $3 bowling games for me and 4 friends (chyeah, bowling nights will be a thing). I've just finished a Diploma in Live Sound Engineering SAE Qantm and am looking for full-time work in the field. I'm very easy going, friendly and love to laugh. I'm very much into music, especially vinyl, and love incorporating the sweet sounds of music into my daily life. I (Aidan) have just recently returned from travelling around Europe and am excited to make the move to Brisbane and begin working again. Prior to Europe I was working in the Northern Territory rehabilitating a toxic dump but am taking a fly in/out job in Weipa. I’ve spent a large amount of time in Brisbane (as its relatively close to home) and have decided its time to finally move there. Have a keen interest in music, especially live music, and love attending gigs and finding new tunes. We're both hoping to find a place soon so if anyone is interested in living with two rad dudes hit us up!
I like to be social wether its boardgames, sitting down for a meal or just watching tv together but I also like to keep to myself sometimes and just have some quiet reading time or what not. I have the most adorable little baby girl. I'm a massive geek and you will usually catch me watching anime or doctor who and such. I love to cook for others and can be quite creative and handy with diy projects too.
I'm a master student at Griffith Uni and I'm 28. I'm open minded, clean, friendly, and social. I cook the best grilled meat ever and I love camping, clubbing, and snorkeling. I always try to eat as healthy as possible and I exercise regularly.
I'm seeking suitable accomodation for myself, something longer than 6 months, preferably inner city area. I'd prefer to share with only one other person. I'm a tidy/clean guy who generally keeps to myself, more of an introvert personality wise, though I do know how to be social, and enjoy having conversations with other people. I enjoy doing various things, from personal hobbies, to something sports/exercise related, to going to the beach, reading, staring up at the sky, etc. I'd say I'm easy to get along with, somewhat reserved at first but I open up quickly. I work as an engineer (I do have a personality) so full-time job, and pursue various other, uh, ventures on the side. There's a lot more to say but you'll get a better idea of who I am if you meet me :) The maximum I'd be willing to pay per week is around $280. Would generally prefer to share with one other person. Mainly looking for inner city area.
Hi, I'm looking at moving out for the first time from my family home as I'm now studying at QUT while working part time in admin. I'm very neat and respectful of others and their space. I'd say I'm equal parts about privacy and time to yourself, but also like banta and hanging out. Dallas
18 yr old uni student looking for a cheap place to stay for a year or so, looking for a place that has all bills and internet included. I'm super chill and don't do much besides drink with friends and go to uni :)) I'd idealy love to have roomies that are cool for me to have sleepovers and invites friends over. I work down south on weekends so won't be there most weekends especially nights. Please contact me :))
Relaxed and laid back. I love to cook, especially for other people..so who knows, I might cook for you. I also clean up after myself and would expect others to do the same. I like a balance between being social and me time if I have work to do, or just want quiet time to myself. I am currently looking for a second job, and will be working mostly nights 6-7 days a week, so I don't think you'll see much of me to begin with! I'm not looking for a party pad either, but a do enjoy a night of drinks and fun from time to time. My move date isn't a fixed date, I only put a date because it told me to.
Hi! My name is Kieran and… IN SHORT I’M: - Single / Straight / Mature (obviously) / Non-Smoking 36 Year Old with a Positive Outlook on Life. - I’m neat and tidy without being obsessed (who would admit to being not?) - I'm looking to share a place with one (ideally) or two others. The only exception to this is if the place is very special! SORRY NO COUPLES PLEASE. - EXTREMELY reliable. Rent and bills will always be paid on time or in advance. I will supply you with references from my current landlord and previous landlords (if required). - I’m on the Disability Support Pension currently (DSP) as I have Bipolar but please read on… *** I’m not one to sit around doing nothing. I actually get up at 5am during the week (as quiet as a mouse of course) and head to the gym. I have previously done freelancing work in online marketing and writing but took a break for a while and just resuming now. I have two of my own websites which I can show you. The only concern for you should be is that I have more than enough money (which I do) to pay rent and bills on time and that I am perfectly stable (which I am). It’s not a big deal really having something like Bipolar as there are people homeless and people without access to clean water in certain countries. It’s all about Gratitude! Any more questions just ask me.*** - 100% Without a Doubt Looking to Live somewhere for at Least the Next 12 months (probably Longer) and I am more than happy to Sign a/the Lease. - Calm, Relaxed and Laid-Back Individual. Yes that's right. I am the complete opposite of someone that is highly strung. That's what you want right? I seek likewise. And no that doesn't mean we can't hold an intelligent conversation ;) - I want to move sooner rather than later but I'm in no rush. I'm not on a lease currently and can move whenever (and I mean the exact day/date that works for you!). I'm very open on suburbs… All COMES DOWN TOO: 1) The Place (definitely prefer bright, open and spacious), and 2) The Area (i.e. what's close to there like gym/s, parks, cafes, shops etc.). PLEASE NOTE: It's very important to point out at this stage that I will not have a car for the next 6 months at least. I currently share a car with my sister but she is taking it. Therefore a gym (1) public transport (2) and shops (3) should all be within 15 minutes walking distance (absolute max)....yes numbering in that order priority too probably. I don’t care so much about the shops (although it would be nice) as I can get groceries delivered. And The Absolute Must... DEFINITELY NEED AIR CON: I definitely need air con in my bedroom as I've already been through two summers without. I actually much prefer the cold but I like what Brisbane has to offer otherwise. FURNITURE: I'm ideally looking for somewhere fully furnished apart from the bedroom. I have a medium size desk and can buy the rest of the stuff. If it's already furnished then that's a bonus. BEDROOM SIZE: I definitely need a bedroom of reasonable size. Hoping to fit a queen bed, desk and a whiteboard for my work. Don't worry the whiteboard will only be attached to the wall by Velcro. BIT ABOUT ME: - I like the gym (first thing in the morning), living a healthy lifestyle (most of the time) walks (near the water if I can), tennis (now and again), football (on TV), admiring nature (whenever I can), travelling (every so often) reading (daily and before bed), writing (for work and pleasure), self-improvement (generally), online marketing (work), restaurants (many), socialising (mainly on weekends) and coffee (in small doses). - I'm a social/friendly person but I'm definitely more on the quiet side. I'm not big on TV (in one place I didn't even own a TV lol) at all so don't expect me to join you on the couch watching it. I don't mind the news and a bit of sport though. I just find you learn more by reading. - I do all of my socialising with friends outside of the flat/property but I 100% don't mind if you have people over. I'm not one for dinner parties but go for it!! - I'm not a vegetarian. I cook my own meals as have my own diet I need to follow. Of course there may be a time where a meal or take-away could be shared. - I'm a clean and tidy person and expect likewise. - I'm straight and single currently - I'm open to living with people of all cultures and sexuality. - I have lived and worked in Sydney (4 years) London (5 years) and Melbourne (3 years) previously. The main thing I am seeking in a flatmate is laid back qualities. If this is you then we are a flatmate match potentially. Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. Kieran
I like minding my business................................................................................................................................
Hi! I am 23 and working full time with Queensland health. I have a beautiful 7 year old greyhound who (like her human) enjoys the quieter things in life. I am mostly keep to myself but would also love someone who was keen for the occasional wine and cheese night. If this sounds like something you're interested in, let me know!
Hi my name is Amy, I am 21 years of age. I work full time in childcare. In in spare time I like keeping active going to the gym and playing netball but like a cheeky wine on the weekdays after work. I am always up for a chat but I also like keeping to myself.
I'm a really friendly person and I love a good laugh. I have a house trained kitty, named Gypsie, who is just as friendly, if not more so, than I am. I'm always down for a good movie marathon or binge session and love a fun filled games night. I'm not about that party life but I don't mind a few drinks with the friends occasionally. I'm also a second year uni student, studying a bachelor of nursing so during the uni semester all I do is work, sleep and study.
