-------------------------
Hi! I’ve been in Brisbane for 4 months after living in Melbourne for a few years. I work a remote-IT job full-time so it's important that the living space is stable, clean, quiet and comfortable.
About me:
I'm easy-going, quite organized, conversational, very house-trained, pay rent on time and respect personal spaces and boundaries. I’m happy to help maintain the accommodation if we're sharing a space. I like company but am not looking for a party house. I enjoy live music events and play the electric guitar (quietly, don't worry!) when I get the time.
I'm looking for properties with the foll. Qualities:
(Essential)
=private furnished bedroom with a bed and natural sunlight
=air conditioning in the bedroom or the common areas
=kitchen that has a cooking oven and classic refrigerator (not 'mini-fridge')
=Quiet, peaceful space overall. I do remote IT work full time and would be on video calls a lot during the day. An ideal room for me would be one that can be a good home office. Ideally, the address is not next to a busy highway or has a lot of noisy construction work going on around.
(Preferable)
=balcony
=an area that has access to a park or outdoor/indoor sporting facilities
=reasonable access to public transport (trains especially - I don't drive yet)
=address has a recyclables collection program
If it’s a housemate arrangement, I’d like to live with someone who is
=Tidy, thoughtful, considerate
=open communicators
=willing to share maintaining of the common areas/household duties
=employed/in full-time post-graduate studies
