Hi there, I'm a young 42 years old Gay man . Originally from Mauritius but now live in Auckland NZ. I'm a florist designer. I have been offered a job on the gold coast and I'm moving over at the end of January 2017. I'm easy going, clean and tidy, enjoy drinks and snacks on weekends but I'm not after a party flat! I would like to have my own bedroom and bathroom. Look forward to hear from you:-) C.
My name is Dan, I am doing my PhD at Griffith University, my research is in the field of biophysics, me and my wife are on Gold Coast for almost 3 years and loving it here; originally we are from Russia. I am spending most of the time in university, since I need to finish my PhD by the end of next year; and over the weekends we are mostly away hiking or enjoying the beach time . We are quite and value everybody's privacy. We are ready to stay for at least 6 months and can basically move in any time soon.

I have an active lifestyle and try and eat well ...... just dont put biscuits near me or thats it! lol I am looking for female housemates (sorry guys it's just i need some sisters to bond to...unless your open to talking about all things woman) ;) I like all kinds of music ...just not that heavy metal ish... and love a good car karaoke. I have been living in Sydney the last year and now work brings me to Brisvegas... however I have never been here previously so it's important that the people I live with are approachable and friendly :)

I'm a primary school teacher (the blonde in the picture) who has just gotten back from teaching in the UK for the last two years. Starting at a new school in Melbourne in late January in Canterbury. I'm easy going, tidy, and enjoy cooking, fitness, wine, going out and socialising with friends...definitely not a home body. Want to live with people that I can share a drink or meal, but who also have their own social lives.
Moving from Brisbane to Gold Coast for work.. but also can't resist the sun, surf and active lifestyle of the Gold Coast! I work with events and functions full time and like to keep busy going to the gym after/before work or out on day trips on days off. I'm a non-smoker, clean, healthy lifestyle and have lived in share houses for four years so I know all the golden rules. I also come with a guarantee that there will always be milo in the cupboards and have been known for spontaneous baking.
I'm a bubbly out-going and independant woman who is just trying to build her life and start fresh after some family tragedy. I have a beautiful dog Charlee and she is kelpie x husky, under 2yrs and is not a drama at all, just loves ppl too much! I like to do my own thing but am a very social person who loooooooovvveeess making new friends. I'm simple and straight up-what u see is what u get. =)
Hi there! My name is Bri, kinda like the cheese. Full-time working professional and singer-songwriter. I am an outgoing introvert so love meeting new people and having a good laugh but am also happy to have downtime. As a housemate, I am friendly, clean and considerate - I will always do my share and pay bills on time. For fun I enjoy cooking, travel, reading, watching movies, making music and stalking cute dogs at the park. I don't mind a sneaky beverage with dinner, usually wine or tequila. I am respectful to the LGBTQI community. What I am looking for: Ideally somewhere relatively close to the city for the long term. I need to have enough space for music equipment either in my room or another space (eg. garage) where I won't annoy anyone. It would be great to be somewhere that pets are allowed as I have always wanted a dog. In a housemate, I am looking for someone who is like-minded. If you have a dog, I will also love it like my own.
2 best mates who are looking for an easy going household with good people. We both work full time, and in our downtime we try and stay active. We're Both very social and try to make the most of our time off work with friends. We're both tidy and respect others! Both smokers.
I'm a quite and respectful person. But also like deep conversations, I don't smoke and don't go out that often. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle. But no one is a saint, so I also like a good wine. I'm from Denmark and has just finished my Yoga Teacher Training, I like hiking and being in natur. I'm currently looking for full time employment, and plan on staying in Gold Coast for an extended period, because my girlfriend is from the Gold Coast area.
I'm going to be studying Health Sciences and Naturopathy, I am also a yoga instructor and a very laid back kind of person. I love all animals and get along with most people. I also love to cook and I think I'm pretty good at it. I have tattoos, I ride a motorcycle on nice days and I enjoy things like hiking, reading, card games. Of course I love getting together with mates to have a drink and hang out but I'll be in full on study mode all year so gatherings wont be frequent at home. I prefer to keep my home peaceful and am considerate of others personal space and privacy.
clean, tidy, respectous, mature, independent, sport person who likes people but its not really patry person. I am 28 years old male student from Europe who finished PT course in australia and here in Gold Coast taking surfing lessons. I am pretty easy going, hospitality worker, who likes his own privacy and do things on his own as well as to hang out with friends or people with same interest and set of mind. thanks
Easy going mature lady (non-smoker) seeking furnished room in Bne around Yeronga, Annerley, East Brisbane areas. I prefer an en-suite or own-use bathroom although this is not a killer. I will need accommodation from beginning of January. I respect peoples' need for space and generally keep to myself, but I also enjoy a glass of red and a great conversation - so it would be great to find like minded flatties (male or female). I will need to be within easy walking distance of train and bus routes as I will not have a vehicle initially. Also very much hoping to find somewhere with reasonable access to a park for runs/walks. I am studying (USQ) but will also be job seeking (please note that I am self supported financially).
I'm a very considerate, easygoing, respectful and friendly person who respects your privacy and need for your own space, also would love to live with someone who I can share a few laughs and a couple of drinks once a while. Being a foodie helped me ace in cooking.

Also I dont look or act my age at all... so consider me to be 27years old :) ha ha

I will be taking up a part time job whilst studying, but wanting to find a pretty trendy house with a respectful yet lovely room mate! :)
Myself and my friend are coming to Melbourne on Jan 14. We both have completed engineering. We both are looking rooms at an affordable amount. We both are jovial and adaptable to any situation.
I am urgently looking for a place to stay as I need to move out in within two weeks. I am a fit, tidy, social childcare educator. I work part time in a childcare centre, study, and work the other part time In a restaurant on the weekend. Thanks
My wife and I just recently relocated to the gold coast from Calgary Alberta, Canada. Andrea is a registered nurse and I am an engineering student. We are very clean and keep reasonable hours. We love to travel and have been all over North and central America along with Europe. We both will be working full time during our stay.

Hi, My name is Deniro I am a 25-year-old student who is also working full-time, studies part-time and enjoys online blogging as well. I am looking for a place that is on the Gold Coast as I have picked up work in Labrador. I enjoy sport especially rugby and cricket, fitness, video games and the occasional social drink. I am quiet and tidy which are my best traits although I don't mind the occasional chat. I am looking for a place which is small and private, any party houses are a definite no-no for me.
I'm clean and reliable. I don't smoke drink or party. Looking for a place for 9 months until I get married. Starting a full time teaching job and love to stay fit and healthy by playing competitive squash.
Hi Im starting masters degree (1.5 yrs) from Griffith, looking for a minimum of 6 months stay probably extending the lease... Im vegetarian, yet Ive stayed with ppl on non veg diet previously so it shouldnt be big deal.Im originally from Nepal ,stayed in Sydney for 2 years prior to this relocation. Looking for housemates preferring no in-house parties and no smoking inside the house. Yet, gatherings during weekends shdn't be an issue . If you have a room to rent and want to know more about me please contact me.Planning to move in mid-Dec. Im looking nearby location in SouthPort or Labrador area. Thx !
Hi there, I'm a 32 year old professional looking for a new place to stay! I work long hours but when I'm home I enjoy socialising but also enjoy the quiet times too. I like to hang out with friends, bars and pubs with some tunes, AFL (massive hawks fan) and go to the gym, cycle etc. I am a respectful, clean and considerate person and come from a 3 bedroom home, so have all furniture to utilise! I'm looking for someone who is similar in having a chat and a laugh, but also likes their downtime too. I have children, but they don't live with me. They generally stay one weekend per fortnight/month. Most of the time we aren't home and really come home to sleep and then up and about the next day. Can make alternate arrangements if required, but this has generally not been a problem in the past with housemates If you'd like to know any more, then let me know and I'll be happy to share!
EARLY JANUARY 2017 Looking for someone to team up with or join a place already. I'm a full time radiographer in Brisbane moving to the Gold Coast for work and a lifestyle change, as I love the beach and received a better position with another company. I am very into health and fitness, but enjoy the odd night out. I'll usually be at work, gym, or out and about so I won't be in your face lol. I'm an easy going girl and want to find like minded people. Might I add who are not messy ! And clean and respectful. Broadbeach is centrally located for me and works best, however, I'm open for options. I'm looking for somewhere modern, for $200 each a week roughly. Prefer on the water, and prefer my own bathroom. Contact me if interested :)
I've been in Melbourne for 2 months for work and will be back from January-April next year. I help charities use technology well, mostly building databases and helping implement good processes to support them. My work is based in Malvern, so looking for something within about 25 minutes by transit to there, but that is also not too far from the city and the areas where all the cool Melbourne acrobatics are happening. (I am a budding acrobat!) When I'm not trying to do better handstands, I can be found reading, gaming (modern tabletop games mostly, with a bit of RPG), and drinking fine Tasmanian whiskey. My job is pretty demanding, so I like a quiet home I can curl up in, although I prefer to live with housemates who like a friendly chat and low-key hangouts in the common places (rather than a place where we all just live around each other, passing like ships in the night). I am queer (bi) and poly--obviously we can sort out what's okay in terms of having people stay over occasionally (unlikely for such a short stay though, honestly), but if someone's like, philosophically committed to being an asshat about either of those things just in general, we'd probably both be a lot happier living with other people. Oh, and I cook! Will keep the kitchen tidy if I'm just cooking for me, but I am generally always willing to feed people if they're happy to do the dishes Coming back around 8 January and staying through April. Also, $300 is getting to the top of my budget--ideally looking for something in the $175-$275 range.
Hello potential roommate! My name is Kyran, I've lived in Geelong for the last four years. I finished my bachelor in Architectural Technology this week and I'm looking to move back up to Melbourne now that I am done. Though I loathe the term, I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting up a retail power company. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. Comes fully house trained. I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finished, and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I am looking for a room big enough for a queen sized bed. I also use a fair bit of freezer space. I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Things like a push button coffee machine, sous vide cooker, Olympic weights, fitness gear, and other bits and bobs. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and love a deep conversation.
Hello potential flatmates! My name is Bonnie, I am a 25 y.o Restaurant Manager working full-time in Richmond. I also study a Masters degree part-time. I am a friendly positive person who enjoys living in a clean home. I am pretty busy with work but I also enjoy keeping fit at the gym or going for walks. I enjoy a good cup of tea and eating brunch at cafes. Pretty laid back easy going person, good conversationalist but also respect privacy and alone time, especially after a long day at work! I am looking for a place to move into as soon as possible with a short-term agreement with the potential of extension.
Hi there, I'm Emily and I am in the process of re-locating from the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula to Melbourne in Jan 2017 - hoping to find a perfect place with great flat mates. I am 24 years old, working full time as an Occupational Therapist. I have a very friendly and well-behaved dog who lives/sleeps outdoors, therefore I would need to find a house with a suitable backyard/courtyard. I love the outdoors, socialising with friends, travelling, exercise and having a wine or two! I am neat and tidy and feel I am very easy to live with. Emily :)
Hello future housemates, Originally from Ocean Grove I am moving to Melbourne for work and listed the 10th of Jan as a potential move in date, however I am flexible. I like to think I'm a good all rounder. I love sport, particularly AFL but am hardly a mans man. I am pretty active but am easily convinced into eating whole family pizza, washed down with a few beers. I love the outdoors (am passionate about the environment) but am equally at home reading the paper (on my phone) in a cafe. I'm not very fussy and prefer to be accommodating rather than quarrelsome. I'm conscious and respectful of others, clean and tidy and definitely eager to make a positive contribution to a new household family. Most of all I am looking forward to meeting my new housemates!
Hey there! my name's Bianca. I'm a Tassie gal who is a uni graduate and I'm moving to the big smoke in late December/early January to do legal prac and then work as a baby lawyer. I have lived in share houses for 2 years now, and as a housemate I'm very chill, social, like to share the odd meal and have some banter in the house. At the same time, I'm good at respecting everyone's space and down time. I am clean, reliable, and always pay rent/bills on time. I'm not too keen on throwing ragers in the house every weekend but wouldn't say no to heading out for a few bevs. Other interests include wine and netflix, fashion and styling, pretending I'm on an episode of MasterChef and cooking up a storm in the kitchen, and keeping fit (or at least attempting to do so). As I will be new to the city I'll also be out exploring a lot when I'm not working. If I'm the type of housemate you're looking for, feel free to hit me up! x
Nimal here from India. Moved in Australia 3 months back to pursue my doctor of philosophy at Griffith University. I love this place, the people, the facilities. But the only thing my health dislikes is the climate. I have not adapt to the climate yet. Excessive dehydration makes me uncomfortable. So I decided to find a clean house with air-conditioning through this site.
My wife and I are very hard working people, reliable, clean and respectful. I'm a graphic designer and Illustrator and she's a baker, so there will be treats around every now and then. We're from Venezuela, so if you're clever you might learn some Spanish. We're usually working but when we want to relax beers, popcorns and netflix are our thing.
Hi! I'm 22, single, work full time in an office, smoke, drink & have a cat who thinks he's a people. I'm looking for a share-house/some people to start a share-house with. I'm fairly outgoing and not afraid to have the occasional chat/drink, but also completely respectful of personal space/boundaries. During the week I'm usually pretty boring and binge watch Netflix and paint/draw and keep to myself. However, I do like to get riggity riggity rekt most weekends, so I'm either looking for someone to find a place with or somewhere that doesn't mind that mentality and lifestyle (I'm not going to be throwing ragers, but will want to have a couple of mates over occasionally). Clean and tidy communal areas are important to me, personal rooms are your own business - care factor is zero for that. If you want to meet to see if we don't hate each other, just swing me a message 8)
I like to keep to myself but enjoy socialising also. I'm borderline OCD so i love to be clean and in a clean environment. I work full time. Love animals, would love to have a pet one day. I'm bad at writing bios also :)
I am simple - low to no maintenance, responsible, mature and keep things clean. I work as a researcher at a university here in Melbourne and my contract is extended every week. ----- Retal Terms ----- Can move-in today Period: 1 to 12 weeks I can pay upfront every week ($100-150 p/w is my budget) No Bond. If place is really good, we can discuss 1 week bond but it will go to RTBA. 3-7 day notice for both of us. ---- My offer is for short-medium term accomodation. It is quite good because in the short-term I can occupy the room (that may not be occupied), and should you find someone for the long-term, then you can give me 3-7 day notice and I can move out. My only requirements are: Quiet Environment to sleep or rest at any time, if needed. Fast Internet, ideally cable. Privacy & Security of my belongings. I will occasionally cook, sleep and thats it. Ideally the room has a bed, kitchen and post box, and is relatively clean. Please contact me if you are interested.
