We are a professional couple from Newcastle (Luke an Engineer and Lauren a Dental Nurse) who start work 06/02/17 in North Sydney and would like to live somewhere that is within a one hour commute via public transport to North Sydney. We are a fairly chilled out couple who enjoy going to the beach, watching movies/.tv shows and travelling. We currently have a small cat that we would love to be able to bring to Sydney with us, but can make other arrangements for her if required. We would like to have somewhere to park our car (street is fine). We have most of our own furniture/appliances (bed, fridge, washing machine, kitchen appliances). Our preferred budget is less than $500 per week and we are looking to share for 6-12 months.
Brazilian living in Sydney for 5 years now, looking for a place to settle for a while before renting something to myself, but not discarding possibilities of longer term. I`m a 29 yrs old full time worker as a carpenter/joiner. Not a party animal and a fitness friend, I do like to have a drink on the weekends (and maybe during the week with this heat, why not?) and have fun.
Returning to Sydney after a year of living off the land out in country NSW... maybe not that extreme, but coming back to the city and starting the search for roof over my head :) I'm pretty relaxed and easy to get along with, can be fairly quiet and focused on either work or study, but if I'm in a bit of an energetic mood it's either out scuba diving or catching up with friends (so not making any big ruckus at home) Can be a decent cook when the mood strikes, enjoy a quiet catch-up amongst friends and have been known to binge on Netflix from time to time. I'm not really locked into looking for anything too specific - I'm pretty open to options, though I do have some ideals/preferences in what I'm looking for: * A self-contained studio/apartment/granny flat - I do enjoy my own space, but maybe wishful thinking * Close to public transport - as long as there is an easy route to get to Central, I don't mind a longer train trip * Close to the water - I tend to dive a lot around Cronulla and Botany, so this is a bit of a nice-to-have * Own bathroom - would definitely be a perk There are only 2 points that a critical for me: * Private room * The ability for friends to visit and hang out - I'm not a party-person, but I have noticed some listings that indicate visitors are not welcome at all - I'd like to be part of a home, not a ward. All that said, I'm pretty open to all possibilities :) I'm interested in a long-term home more than a short-term stay, but I'm open to options.
Hello everyone, my name is Britta, I am 26 years old and from Germany. I am about to start working as a legal assistant at a lawyers office in Sydney. I am a reliable, happy, open minded, clean and quiet person who is looking for a place to stay, as I have been traveling for a few months now and can not wait to have a real home again. My hobbies are Photography, Yoga and Hiking and I have been in Australia already 10 months in total now. I love the Sea, Sydney itself and I love to cook. I leave shared places like the bathroom or the kitchen as I find them and my own room will always be tidy. I am looking for like minded people to have a great time with and who respect privacy at the same time.
Hi there! My name is Phoebe, I am a 28 yo professional, working in the Northern beaches. I am currently looking for a room to rent, preferably in the beautiful suburb of Manly :) I am sociable and active, often keeping busy throughout the week and weekends, although I do love a bit of downtime also. I love animals (especially dogs), hiking, rock climbing, yoga and socialising with friends. I am tidy and respectful, and would ideally be looking for accommodation for a 6 month period (minimum).
I'm a decent cook and am happy to share, I enjoy a little daily debrief with a beer or a vino and occasionally hanging with my house mates, I'm tidy and a damn good baker. I work 7-5 Mon-Thur in North Sydney, I'm fairly active playing the sports and doing the things so I'm in and out of home but also enjoy my home relax time. Anything else just ask!
Hello, my name is Maria and I'm a 21 year old from Colombia. Im a very quiet but friendly girl, I like to stay at home and watch movies instead of parting. At the moment I'm working at kirribilli club and I'm usually working from 10 to 6 or even 8 but some times I work late (hospitality). I'm looking for something short term and nice. I'm very clean, friendly, considerate and respectful person who has problems with anyone and likes to get along with other people.
Hi, I'm from the Netherlands and I am coming to Australia for an internship of nursing. Because I'm working in shifts I like to live with someone who is considerate about this (of course I'll do the same for you!). I'm friendly, fun and good company! I love to eat and to socialize, so I will always be up for an nice evening of cooking and wine! But I'm also fine by watching some series in my room by my own. I've been to Sydney before but I would love to discover some new spots there!
I am a 26 year old master's student who is also working part time. I am looking for a space to call home for the next year while I complete my degree. Clean, friendly, organized, and easy going. Very busy so I tend to rarely be home, and when I am it's to wind down from long work days. Self-contained property strongly preferred. Own bathroom or ensuite strongly preferred
Hi, I am Renjeeta, working as a banker in India (Kolkata). I am married and have a baby girl who is currently three and half years old. We have received Permanent residence-ship for NSW and are moving to Sydney on 2nd of Feb'17. Initially ,I a am moving with my daughter and I'll have my Mom (who is travelling on a tourist visa for three-four months just to take care of her granddaughter). Unfortunately, I not able lease my own flat (as agents are saying ,I don't have a work offer). So, I would need a shared accommodation. I don't smoke. I have no problems with pets, smoking and I love cooking. As my husband would be joining us in June'17, I may stay till that time in a shared accommodation. Would love to hear , if anybody is having a flat to share with us anywhere in Northern Suburbs.
I'm a very optimistic and easy going person! Always trying to get along well and looking at the brightside of life :) I have no problems on dealing with differences, and I guess that respect is the key for that. I try my best to be organised and adapt to the rules of the places that I live in.
Hi! Moving to Sydney from Melbourne for work and looking for a place close to public transport for about 6-12months. Pretty easy going, happy to share a drink and chat but also respect privacy. Would like to live somewhere clean and tidy :)
Hi there, I'm a 26 yrs old from London. Just started a new job at a Digital Ad Agency here in Sydney. I've put 3 month stay down here, but could def do longer if things go well. I'm super relaxed. Just want to surf, do some outdoorsy stuff, socialise, and generally have a lovely time around work while I'm here. Staying with friends in Surrey Hills for a couple of weeks at the moment, but in the interests of not overstaying my welcome, I'm keen to get the ball rolling haha. I should probably be out of here by end of Jan if poss. Up for teaming up and finding somewhere, or slipping into an established house : ) Ty
Moving to Sydney for work. I'm tidy, reliable and a decent cook (if I do say so myself). Looking for housemates with an apartment or meeting other people who'd like to team-up to get an apartment. Guys/girls, it doesn't matter - as long as you're friendly and fun to live with.
I am an outgoing, friendly girl from Germany studying at Macquarie University. I am very reliable and tidy and love to live together with other people. I love going to the beach, going out for drinks and travelling.
Hi! I'm 22 years old, working full time in the CBD. Looking for a place in Manly close to the Ferry and open to sharing. Massive surfer, into my photography & I love my classic cars. Neat & Tidy, pretty mellow, not a massive drinker but don't mind a beer or wine here and there, love and oldie but a goodie tune too.
Hi i'm Rohan, I am a 21 year old male, living in Manly. I am a really easy going guy who loves to surf and be in the water all the time. Really relaxed kind of person that has been living in Manly for the last three years and must relocate as my building is being demolished. I am keen to move up north a little bit to save some money and knuckle down on my studies. I have just finished studying a Bachelor degree in Sports Management and will continue to do my Masters in International Business over the next two years. I have lived with many different people over the last three years and find it easy to get along with everyone. Feel free to send me a message or text if you have a room available. Cheers Rohan
I have been working in London for the past 4 years for Estée Lauder and Harrods. I am returning to a new position at Waringah Mall. As a result I need somewhere in walking distance to the beach, shops and transport to work, not limited to Brookvale, however Sydney has a great network of trains and buses. I'm an easy going non smoker, cook, clean and all that boring stuff, the odd glass of wine with a meal, clean and tidy. I enjoy Jazz, fine food and come complete without baggage, well my suitcase.

Hey! I'm Amber from the US (Seattle, WA). I recently got my Master's and was working as a therapist (part-time) while also working as an Administrative Assistant in the states but decided to make the big move to Sydney! I've only been in this area for a couple of weeks but am loving it so far. I am looking for a laid back and peaceful atmosphere and really appreciate clean living areas. I enjoy exploring the lovely area of Sydney, a healthy and active lifestyle, meeting new people and enjoying all life has to offer! My personality is really easy going and enjoy the outdoors! I'm not afraid of hard work and I love trying new things. I would personally love to travel more and experience new cultures. I love to have a good laugh and spend time with quality people. Hello, My name's Camilla, I'm a 26 year old Event Coordinator in London and I'm relocating to Sydney in November to experience Aussie life. I travelled Aus for six weeks about two years ago and fell in love with Sydney so I'm super excited to come back out for much longer! I'm very chilled out, highly sarcastic and will throw a 'Friends' quote on on pretty much a daily basis. I'll be working in a similar industry once I get out here so I'm looking for like-minded people to share with; I'd love to find some people who are a joy to live with (is that too much to ask?!), up for a laugh and enjoy telling tales of our days over some good food and a glass of wine. I'll throw out the standard 'flatmate hunting' tagline but it's true - I love a raucous night out as much as chilling in my pjs with a good movie. I'm a lover of stationery (how much of my inner geek do I reveal at this stage...), festivals, Grey's Anatomy, dancing (only when aided by alcohol), and orange smarties. Seriously, they just taste better than all the rest. Oh and I'm like the tidiest person in the world (think Monica in Friends) so no need to worry about the place being a mess! C x

We like to spend time inside home watching a movie or also traveling. We're open to share a glass wine and we're looking for friendly and tidy flat mates.
I am a full-time worker who does not smoke and has lived out of home for the past five years (just to dispel any first-time-home-leaver fears out of the way). I go through periods of time where I am rarely home - whether as a result of work or because I am out socialising, as I much prefer chilling at the pub, gigs or clubs than partying at home. On the other hand, I am a massive reader and avid movie watcher, so I have periods of time where I am happy just going to the beach, hanging at home and having chilled out fun. You can add clean and a fan of organising to my resume. :p

Currently living in Manly but totally open to moving more into the city too. Likes: spending time with friends, being outdoors and keeping fit (running, barre, Pilates), watching sport, travel, all kinds of music, bad jokes, Louis Theroux documentaries balanced out with a bit of trash TV, good food and a good G&T or espresso martini. Looking to live with likeminded girls and guys who are social, like to have a laugh and can catch up over dinner or a drink but also appreciate me-time and respect each other's space too.
Hi, I'm a relaxed, independent, easygoing girl. I love to travel and explore new places. My current housemate is moving out soon so I'm trying to decide if I stay in our current unit in Collaroy and find a new housemate to fill her spot (2 bedroom, 1 bathroom) or move into a new share house/unit. I'm full time shift worker so am looking for a housemate who understands that sometimes I need to sleep during the day. I love living close to the beach. I like the house to be clean and tidy and would ideally like a housemate that is easy to get along with and up for the occasional wine, breakfast or dinner out, or walk together.

I am clean and respectful of the space I live in, and would like to live with with someone/people that I can share a laugh/food/drink with occasionally!
Hey everyone! We are a happy outdoorsy couple working for northern beaches council in parks and bush regeneration. We are clean, respectful and social. Don't mind a beer on the weekend but not keen on painting the town every weekend anymore. 😋 We also try to keep it pretty quiet during the week with the early work starts.
