Hi, I'm in my early 20's and working full time. I'm clean, organised and super chill with things. On my days off, I'll go out for a nice dinner or just lay back and watch TV. I absolutely love anything outdoors, so if you're into hiking, running or trying new activities, I think we'll get along great! I'm not too serious so it'd be good to have a flatmate who I can have a laugh with.
Hi, Allow me to introduce myself . I'm Alan , a 59 year old single guy who works full time long hours as a electronics store manager at Belconnen . I'm into a super healthy lifestyle /diet a total non drinker /smoker exercise a lot with squash and walking to and from work . When I get home from work at 7pm I like to chill out alone in my room quietly watching Netflix /Stan and then lights out by 10 . I'm not into long convos as I'm all talked out from selling all day at work . I'm leaving my current accommodation because of a all night gamer downstairs yelling loudly thru the early hours of the morning and I love and need my 8 hours of sleep . If your house is noisy after 10pm please do not entertain me as a tenant .I like an all costs inclusive arrangement (including Internet )and prefer to pay monthly in advance on the 15th of month as that is my pay cycle . I work Tuesday to Saturday and have Sunday and Monday off . I can provide rental references from my previous landlord in Belconnen where I was renting an apartment for 3 years before he wanted to move back in recently . I'm downsizing my needs currently as I don't need much accommodation wise due to my lifestyle and working hours .
I've recently obtained a position within the Department of Environment and as such am looking to relocate to Canberra. Prior to the move I have been living in Brisbane where I obtained my Bachelor of Science from Griffith University majoring in chemistry and microbiology. I'm pretty easy going and enjoy a good conversation as well as being tidy, considerate, respectful, financially responsible, generally pretty quiet, non smoker, social drinker and no kids. In the past I've done a 1,400km hike around Japan and a ~900km hike from France to Spain, played some Futsal, fire performance and wouldn't mind taking some cooking classes or some such if I can find some decent adult education courses in Canberra. I'm looking for a share house with responsible and respectful people who solve any problems with discussion and who don't mind some socializing but can also do their own thing as well.
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into a two bedroom flat at the start of next year. I work at McDonald's Manuka (not glamorous, but it pays rent) and between that and studying I love to just chill out and read or watch Netflix. I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good yarn and watching TV or playing board games (though I'm not very good). I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. My budget is $200 a week (but less would be even better). Feel free to shoot me a message or text if you'd like to get to know me more before making the plunge! I'd prefer living with a friend anyway so we should get to know each other! :)
Hi, Potentially moving to the northern side of Canberra for work, so I am checking out what is available. I am a full time working young professional in my late 20's. I am a neat, friendly and respectful housemate looking for a place to call home. I would ideally prefer my own bathroom and off street parking. I enjoy going to the gym, hiking, exploring markets and having a wine now and then. :)
I am easy to get along with but also respect personal space, I like keeping clean and having everything organised and in order. I am known as a bit of a handy man as i grew up on a farm and am happy to help out with any jobs or chores around the house. I am a casino dealer trainee and will be working varied hours every day. I also enjoy playing basketball and some other sports to keep busy.
I work Monday to Friday.. I enjoy listening to music and prefer just to chill out on weekends. Looking to join a friendly and welcoming share house. If you have any questions just drop me a message :)
Hi! I am moving to Canberra in May to start a new job in consulting. I am moving from North QLD so I'd love to find a room with some housemates where I am able to make friends and socialise. I am clean and quiet but happy to have a chat and hang out! Thanks (:
I'm a 28 year old young professional from Queensland, moving to Canberra for full-time work. I'm friendly, laid back, respectful of space and low maintenance. I love a laugh and a chat about pretty much anything and in my free time I enjoy getting outdoors and exploring the city.
I'm currently in my penultimate year at ANU and I work part-time in retail. On some weekends, I visit my grandma in Sydney & during the holiday breaks I head back to visit my family in Melbourne. Outside of study & work, I workout at the gym, read books at home & cleaning/tidying my room and around the house. I live quite a fast-paced life balancing study, work & responsibilities; so I ideally want a home where I can relax and re-charge. Though I consider myself quite introverted, I appreciate an occasional chat with my housemates or sharing a meal with them.
Hey there! I'm Narmadhaa, and I moved to Canberra a couple of weeks ago. I'm a private marketing consultant—I work from home or the public library. Everything's new and exciting and I'm looking for a place close to the city where can explore the Canberran lifestyle. Of course, cool flatmates are always an added pleasure.
