Hello, my names Jen. I'm 31 and have a full time job in the construction industry. In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit , gym , mountain biking , bush walks , camping. Enjoy a quiet drink and socialising. I also have 2 cats that will be with me.
I'm moving up from Melbourne as part of an APS graduate program on Jan 30th so will be looking for place from then. I like hanging out, brunching, keeping active, playing sport and occasional netflix binge in my spare time. I like to think I'm easy going tidy but not OCD, and fairly chilled - don't hesitate to message if this sounds like your type of flat mate.
Hey there! We are on the hunt for a third person to team up with and find a place to live. We are looking to move towards the end of February/beginning of March. Lucy and I are both teachers. About me: I am a 22 year old female (turning 23). I have completed all my studies and now working full time in teaching (primary). I am respectful, clean and easy going. Love the occasional wine and socialise but also like my downtime as well. I live what I like to think an active and healthy lifestyle. About Lucy: Workaholic. Full time Teacher and Sports coach. Love to travel and explore new places. I enjoy trying new food places and heading out for a drink on the weekends. I'm in clean and independent but always up for a chat. Ideally, we are looking at places that are more on the modern/newer side. If you think I'll be interested in teaming up with us, please feel free to contact me. Annie
Hi, I'm Grace! I've moved to Canberra from Perth to start full-time work with the public service. I'm always up for Netflix binges, coffee chats or anything in between. I'm a little bit of a nanna, so love baking, cups of tea and curling up with a good book. Ideally, I'd be looking for a housemate that I can share an occasional meal with if we're both home at the same time. Most importantly, I'm clean and tidy (but not a neat freak), respectful of personal space and down time, and can cook a mean lasagne.
Hey guys, looking for a room in a share house that will fit a queen bed and possibly a study desk and clothing rack (or come with walk ins). I'm a mature, friendly and studious pharmacy student also working casually at a pharmacy. I'm a vegetarian but living alongside meat eaters doesn't bother me. I'm very rarely home, but am up for drinks or a chat when I am. My hobbies include cooking or baking, movies, making things, swimming, exploring new places... If you think I sound like someone that would fit into your home, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Hi my names Siobhan, I'm currently living on the Gold Coast and will be moving to Brisbane. I work in business whilst I am finishing my double degree. I'm a very clean and considerate roommate and respect others space. I'm a fun and friendly person who enjoy a glass of wine and a chat. I will always pay rent on time and always set up direct payments to ensure they are never late.
I am a 26 yo male from Thailand, recently graduated from ANU. I am a clean, easy going and respectful to others. I mostly keep things to myself but don't mind a casual board games, movie or grab some drinks. I like to play badminton and cycling.
My partner and I are very sociable outgoing people. I absolutely love the kitchen and we love to have house dinners and occasionally like to have a sunday sesh. We are hard workers, love the outdoors and are very tidy people.
I'm a 22 year old from Adelaide who is moving to Canberra in late January for a one year contract in the Australian Public Service. I completed my Construction Management degree recently and have previously been working in Local Government/Council. I'm quiet and easy to get along with and my interests include photography, computer gaming and being outdoors.I cook occasionally, sushi is my favourite dish to prepare. I'm a tidy person who doesn't smoke and enjoys an occasional drink. I fly over on Jan 30 and need to find a place to live by mid Feb. I'll also need parking options for my car.
Hi there, my name is Kristana and I am looking for a unfurnished room preferably with a private bathroom in Brisbane to live - moving down in Mid-February. I am 21 years old and have a full-time job as an Insurance Broker. I am a non-smoker and have no children or pets.
My name is Kate, I'm 24, and I'm moving to Canberra in January to start working full time with the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. I'm currently living in Melbourne, but I grew up in Tasmania, so I have a very keen interest in the outdoors - I love hiking, snowboarding, and I've just bought a bike and I'm getting into cycling! On the weekends I like to either head off somewhere for an adventure, or go hunt down some live music or a dance floor. Some of my favourite things are Disney movies, perfectly ripe avocados, making up Game of Thrones theories, and the smell of clean bed sheets. In terms of my housemate-style, during the week I'm a bit of a homebody; I love sitting on the couch with a glass of wine (after heading to the gym if I'm keen enough) while eating some kind of carb with cheese on it. I enjoy living with people who have got their own things going on, but are down for a family dinner on the odd occasion everyone is home at the same time.
Hi my name is Jedd, I moved in from Adelaide shortly before Christmas. Im working a really steady roster at JBHiFi in the city centre but I'm also studying VFX and Animation in Watson, and undertaking an internship in Acton at the Film and Sound Archive, so a place near the city or with good access to it is a must right now. I'm very clean and polite. I can cook for a group and I come with a staff discount at JBHiFi if we need to upgrade any ammenities. I like to get out a bit, either for drinks or the odd walk/jog, when it's in the budget I wouldn't mind joining a gym either. As far as hobbies, I'm big into both awful and good movies, comics and video games, I spend a lot of time illustrating too! I love pets if you have or want to have any, I have history as a pet/house sitter so people can vouch for me if you need it. I don't sweat the small stuff so I doubt theres any chance of friction living together. I'll be out of the house a fair bit anyways with all my commitments, but I'd love to be mates with whomever I lived with If you have any questions for me feel free to call or text me, I'm working till 5:30 most days though so apologies if any of my responses are delayed at all. I check my emails at lunch too! Cheers!

Hi, I’m Sam, a 27 year old fulltime public servant looking for a new share house. I’ve lived in share houses in Canberra’s inner north and south for the past few years. I’m easy-going, tidy and happy for an after work chat or drink. After work and on weekends, I like to check out cafes, restaurants and the sights around Canberra, catch up with friends and watch Netflix. If you have a place or would like to team-up or know more about me, please feel free to get in contact.
I am from Newcastle, NSW. I moved to Canberra at the start of 2016 to study music at ANU. I am 19, currently studying vocal performance and French language and culture at ANU and am about to begin my second year. I also work singing teaching and performing. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, watching tv/movies and listening to music (of course). I love the outdoors and going out to gigs/concerts/restaurants as much as I love a quiet night in. I am a non-smoker and I only have furniture for my bedroom. I am very respectful of privacy/personal space and I try to be as mindful as I can when it comes to noise and cleanliness.
I've nearly finished studying mathematics, and looking for a place to stay for the last semester of my degree. I'd be great to live with because I'm not very dramatic, I don't trash the place, I cook good food, I'm not very hard to get along with, I'm good at sorting out conflicts, and I'm not very noisy or disruptive either. That being said I'm not a total bore, and I'm happy socializing and making friends. I grew up in Townsville, QLD, but I've been in Canberra for the last four years or so. I lived at the Canberra Student Housing Co-operative for 2015 and 2016, and while it's a fantastic place I felt like it was time for me to move on and make room for people who could really benefit from the place. For fun I like to socialize, cook, play video games, read, etc - although I'm usually down to do what other people are doing. I'm not a huge drinker but I'll join in for social events. Don't do drugs but I don't mind people that do.
Hi there, I'm moving from Newcastle to Canberra in early February to start an undergraduate degree in International Relations and Political Science at ANU. I am honest, respectful and a positive person who will pull my weight in cleaning and cooking. I am looking for a comfortable house share (close to the uni) or an easy going flat mate who enjoys a laugh and a wine or two (or beer) but it also respectful of space and noise. I like to cook, being outdoors (bbq's and the beach), checking out markets, restaurants, bars but also enjoy my own time and a bit of peace and quiet. I'm also very interested in teaming up and starting a share house. Looking forward to checking out Canberra. Cheers!
Hey all! I am an international student from Hong Kong and will be studying at ANU. I am moving alone so I don't know anyone in Australia/Canberra. I am a respectful and down to earth person who is a bit quiet at first but can be fun to talk to when I get to know a person. I like watching movies, reading, listening to music, napping on a beach, exploring new places, eating different kinds of cuisine, local street food and having a few drinks with friends. I don't smoke and I don't have pets. I am a tidy person and don't make noise. ***My preference: I would love to live with people who are friendly and tidy, preferably if you are also studying at ANU (please feel free to contact me even if you are just looking to team up). Flat-wise I prefer a place within walking/bicycles distance of ANU, or with easily accessible public transport nearby directly to ANU. I don't mind sharing bathroom but I prefer to have my own furnished lockable room in a neat and tidy house.
Neat, good personal hygiene, great company, hilarious and humble. Moving from Melbourne to our country's fabulous (ahem) capital to further my career and pursue higher(er) education. For fun I like to eat and shop beyond my means, not exercise and read. A bit to much. Kthanksbai!
I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start a new job in the public service. I'm excited to meet new people and explore a new city! I'm friendly and laid-back, and like to do my own thing at home, but also enjoy socialising with flatmates. I'm neat and organised and in my spare time I enjoy reading, going out to concerts and netlfix!
Hello 😊 I am a recent graduate from Brisbane and have moved to Canberra for full time work in the public service. People often say I am easy-going and responsible. I am clean and tidy and I also enjoy cooking. I like to get out on weekends to socialise, however I also value quite time. You will often find me at a cafe enjoying good food with friends. And on special occasions you will often find me on the dance floor 😆💃🏾. I love to travel and experience different cultures, so I am very open to meeting new people :) Looking for a place close to my work in Barton, preferably with 1-2 other people.
Hello, I'm Jey, a professional working a number of contracts. I work from home most of the time. I'm very clean and reliable. I mostly keep to myself. I've a 13 year old staffy x jack russell. Rodney is by my side most of the time, thus he needs to be allowed inside. He's very clean and well behaved. He likes eating, sleeping, sniffing and pats. Rodney cannot be around any other animals. I can provide a reference for Rodney. I'd prefer clean and quiet housemates. I'm looking for a place for at least 6months, but will most likely stay longer if it's a comfortable living environment. I hope to hear from you soon.
First year university student moving to Brisbane from Far North Queensland to start studying biomedical science at UQ. Just looking for a place, preferably furnished, where I can stay until June when I m going to be moving in with my sister. I don't mind parties but tend not to host them (so don't worry about that) and I spend a lot of time locked in my room trying force myself to study. I am however a sociable person and do enjoy a good discussion and can cook a few basics (I'm still learning). I consider myself mature and responsible, and will aim to keep the place tidy. I'm fairly friendly and outgoing but respect other people's privacy. I love to read, try to keep fit (but goodness knows I lack the motivation), and enjoy a variety of activities from hiking to binge watching Netflix. I'm very open minded and would love a flatmate or two who are nice and easy going.
Hey there! My name is Miriam and I am looking for a bedroom in a house/apartment in the Bruce/Belconnen area, preferably close to UC. I am about to commence my fourth year of a Bachelor of Laws at UC and I have a part time position in retail. I love music, photography and am always up for a road trip! Having lived with other students at various accommodations at UC for my first 3 years, I have a lot of experience with share houses and know my boundaries and space. I’m quiet and tidy, but also enjoy socialising. Also, my parents are more than happy to help with my rent, which was always paid on time. I’d really like to find and move into a place by the first week of February. Give me a message or a text if you have a spare room and feel that I am the right fit for your place :) Thanks! Miriam
I am about to start my PhD program in Ecology and Evolution at the ANU and have multiple interests. I will be landing in Canberra on 11 February. As I will have a range of fieldworks in the second semesters, I am not sure if I will be able to keep a place in Canberra from July on yet - but let's say I am looking for a long term accommodation. Despite the science, I like to spend some time developing my abilities in languages, music, literature, arts and dance as hobbies (sporadically). Currently, I have been embracing the practice of physical training weekly. Although I was raised in the countryside of Brazil, influenced by a traditional culture, I identify as an open person and love to learn from new experiences. My friends usually describe me as an independent person, with a nice taste for music, creative and communicative, however, with a funny need for being at least some time alone each day. I like travels and learning about other cultures from usually strange people. I never do anything that I do not feel secure/ready at doing, thinking about the consequences. I am tidy, easy going and respectful. If you like (the amazing) Brazilian food, we can share some in the weekends. :)
I'm a 22 yr old student who just graduated, will be doing a phD in engineering from July. I'm a very sociable person who likes going out over the weekends. I'd make sure that the house I share with others are quite and clean. :)
Hi! I have lived in my fair share of share houses so I am respectful and tidy :) I am friendly but also pretty quiet, non-smoker, and quite busy so I'm not home too often.
Hey! my name is Isobel, i'm looking to team up with people around the same age as me to move into a place early February. I'm looking for a modern 4/3/2 bedroom house/apartment around Kelvin Grove, Paddington, Alderley, Milton, Herston, Spring Hill, and Red Hill, anywhere close to the city really. I'm 19 and I study at QUT full time (Bachelors of Business and Fine Art (Interactive Visual Design) and I work part time in hospitality. I'm fun, easy going, creative, very clean and respectful. I'm quiet social and love hanging out but I understand personal space. I love watching movies/ tv and love to cook healthy meals. Send me a message if there's anything else you want to know about me! :)
I have just moved to Canberra from Tas for a Grad position. I am pretty laid back and easy going, but I'm also a fairly tidy person. I appreciate down time and having your own space but I am also always up for socialising and adventures. I love heading to the coast for a camping trip or going out on walks.
Currently a third year Economics/Law student at ANU. Just came back from exchange in Singapore so looking for a place to stay for the remainder of the year. Will be spending the majority of my time at university but I am very sociable and considerate as a housemate. Cleanliness is a priority for myself and as such I can guarantee that both private and shared spaces will be well kept.
Originally from Brisbane, just moved to Canberra with the public service. I am laid back and on the more sociable end of the spectrum so I'm not the type of housemate to be locked in my room all the time.
Hi There, We are Banner & Angie and are moving to Canberra in Feb 2017! Banner is returning to Uni this year to study his Masters; Angie works in the non-profit sector and will be working full time. We are quiet people and not big party animals. We are a very peaceful couple (i.e., you don't need to worry about any screaming matches or dramatic affronts!). Hi I'm Jack, I'm currently looking for accommodation in North Canberra to commute into the ANU where I study PPE/Law. I also work remotely as an administration assistant. I'm originally from Newcastle and my hobbies mainly include reading, walking, learning foreign languages, travelling and generally talking to people about the big issues and the small. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to common areas as I really hate annoying people and have a good history of getting my rent in on time which I can provide. In terms of how I relate to flatmates/housemates I'm pretty flexible, always happy to hang out but also enjoy alone time and respect when others want it. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me on my mobile. Cheers, Jack
Hello, My name is Eric (male) from China ,currently studying in ANU master of business information system. I am a friendly, clean, tidy ,respectful guy. Non-smoking , no pet, and easy to get along well with anyone. Especially good at BBQ. I am interesting in a place which close to ANU or city. I can move in from February 2017 to 10 months or 1 year.

I'm organised, clean, respectful and pretty easy going. I enjoy some private time after work but equally enjoy sharing a meal and unwinding the day together if you are up for it.
Hi all, my name is Siddiq Mohamed. I am 18, and I am currently a student (going into my second year) at ANU, doing a Dual Degree in Information Technology. I am generally an easy going person, as well as out-going, and fairly social. Easy to get along with too, or at least I would think. For fun, I enjoy reading, watching interesting shows, drawing, as well as writing and love literature and music in general. Mainly looking for a house share, no more than three or four people at the max, and hopefully no more than around 20 minutes by walk, or a short bus ride to ANU. Clean, Neat, Tidy, Friendly, Non-Smoker, Non-Drinker.

I'm 25 years old and Dana is 19 and we both work full time in childcare. We are tidy and friendly people who like our own space as well as socialising. I like to cook (Dana not so much) and we both like to eat, drink, watch TV, read, take walks, go on day trips, be outdoors, go to the beach etc. We are looking for a chilled, like minded flat/housemate(s) to share a space with. Hi! I'm moving to Canberra to start an APS Graduate position (full-time). I'm easygoing and quiet but sociable. A big fan of live music, red wine, cooking, reading and watching lots of TV/movies. I also enjoy hiking and snowboarding. I'm happy to go out, stay in, share a meal, chat, or relax by myself and give you space :) I'm tidy and organised, and by all accounts easy to get along with. Looking to live with 1-2 other people in an established sharehouse or to setup something new! I'd like to complete my move by Feb 13th but I'm open to moving from the start of February.
I’m Haynes, 23 years old, and from Melbourne! I’ve just landed a full-time job in the APS and I’m moving to Canberra in January. As it's my first time living in Canberra, I’m keen to explore new venues/bars/restaurants and see what the city has to offer. I'm a very respectful, tidy and happy housemate who loves to be social but can also respect others personal space. I don't have any pets or dependents & I'm interested in securing long-term accommodation. Things I like: - Food festivals - Films - Good coffee (basically a pre-requisite to living in Melbourne) - 80’s music - Reading - Hiking/jogging - Cycling Ideally I'm looking for my own room in a friendly house. I’m interested in a long-term rental close to the city or universities – but I’m flexible. Shoot me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
Hi guys, I'm a local professional looking to start a share apartment, preferably two room two bath. I like my own space but am also quite sociable, and would be contributing a significant home cinema space for the ultimate Netflix nights. I also like to head out for some socialising on the weekends, and spend most of the week focused on my fitness. Prefer to live with women as that's what I'm used to but happy to live with guys too if we hit it off. Walking distance to the city is my preference. I have a motorcycle, so while I wont be using much of it, secure parking is a consideration. Also just completed a design degree and will be looking for places with NBN connection.
Hi, I'm Kai and moving down from Sydney as a grad in an economics related field. I'm keen to hang out and socialise, but I'm equally happy relaxing at home. I have shared happily with flatmates for almost a couple of years now. I'm friendly and keep things in a clean state. Looking for a share place that's pretty central in Canberra. Please feel free to contact me!

Hi, I'm Sabrina, sent to Canberra by my company and having been in here for 2 months. I'm fun and laid-back, enjoying food and binge-watching movies. I work full-time but would also love to socialize!
I'm moving to Canberra for a full-time public service job. I'm looking for a share house in the inner north. I'm flexible with move dates, but I want to have a place before I start work on 6 February. While I’m an active and social person, I’m also a considerate housemate. I’d like to live in a social house where we occasionally enjoy a shared meal/drink/Netflix binge but also respect each other’s space. I currently live in Sydney. I can quote episodes of Broad City, IT Crowd and Arrested Development pretty much line for line, if you're into that kind of thing. I like hiking, reading, live music, podcasts, yoga and good food/coffee. I also love cooking. I’m always looking for people to eat my baked goods so that I don’t eat them all.
I'm a full-time student moving from Brisbane after just finishing degrees in Engineering and Science at the University of Queensland. I'll be starting an Astrophysics PhD at the Australian National University (Mt Stromlo Observatory) in March. I'm very chilled out, mature, tidy, not easily annoyed, enjoy having friendly chats, and exploring all that Canberra life has to offer! I like to keep the house clean, and am very respectful of others' personal space. I'm also pretty light-hearted, and enjoy socialising and having a laugh. I'd be most interested in living with other like-minded students, but also enjoy interacting with all different types of people.
Hi, my name is Jade. I am 21, moving from Perth Western Australia for a job in Canberra! I am really social and friendly, however I will be studying and working full time, so I probably won't be at the house all that much! I am an easy-going, friendly and clean housemate, hit the gym a fair bit, but I'm also happy to have a Friday night pizza and beer, and hang out with housemates. Alternatively, I am also more than happy to just do my own thing, but would prefer to live with people who love a chat, might want to come on a road trip, or give advice to help me learn to ski over weekends in winter! :) I enjoy a balance between work, study and the rest, and love being active. Happy to live with guys/ girls/ older/ younger. Send me a message if i might be a good fit for your home! :)
