Hey guys! My names Suzan and I'm a 24 year old tidy, respectful and mindfull person who's currently looking for a place to stay for a few months while I study :) My lifestyle is pretty chill I mostly spend weekends at home either watching some netflix or just hanging out but love the occasional glass of wine with some good company. I start study in September and would love if I found a place by then, message for more info.
Hi, my name is Rhi. My cat Vinny and I need to be out of our current house in September due to our existing housemates all growing up and pairing off so we’re looking for some new ones! I am 28, employed full-time, and have been living in share houses since I was 18 so I know the drill. Things get paid on time, communal areas get kept tidy, and my work schedule means I’ve never clashed with anyone for the bathroom. I’m a bit creative (I draw and paint and collect dumb eclectic things) so hopefully my housemates won’t mind the decorative mishmash of things I intend to hang on our walls! I have got a house worth of furniture (sofas, wall units, large TV, fridge, washing machine, etc.) which I can either sell or bring with me. I like my homes to be chill places where people are comfortable to be themselves. Whilst not expressly looking for a party house I believe that friends and lovers should always be welcome. I am invaluable at pub trivia nights. I am rainbow friendly and bigot unfriendly. An older character place full of music, blankets, fairy lights, plants, books and snacks and with at least a small yard is my dream. I’m open to starting up a new home as well as to joining a welcoming existing one. Vinny is a small ginger rescue boy with the sweetest face who is super skilled at sitting juuust out of reach and stealing food literally from your mouth. He is stupidly obsessed with a big plush Rastafarian banana that I have. He is plucky and I have seen him interact well with other animals. Looking forward to talking to you soon!
I am a first-year architecture student at RMIT University, quiet, studious and spend around 13 hours a day, 7 days a week at the university. I am neat, respectful of one's personal space, responsible and approachable. At college, I used to be a prefect and a student leader, have great communication and negotiation skills as well as a passion for people.
Studying Digital Media at RMIT and need to find a place ideally in the city "area".. I'm a Canadian Israeli who just just moved to Melbourne after travelling all around the world. (lived in 5 countries and traveled over 30 haha..) I like to run, hike, cook, read, drink, and simply have fun. I'll definitely be an entertaining addition to the apt. Looking for normal fun peeps! ;)
Hey there! My name is Dee! I am a 22 year old trans girl, I have been living in Melbourne for the last few months and am looking for a long term share house to live in. I will be commencing full time employment as an administrative assistant on the 27th of August. My preference in terms of areas is somewhere around or near to the CBD, as my work will be mostly focused around there and the north western suburbs. For a bit about me personally, I am pretty easy going and quiet, probably would be classified as a social introvert. I am not much of a cook, but I do like to order food every so often and I enjoy sharing it with other people. A drink here and there is also something I enjoy, so a sharehouse that is alcohol friendly is always a plus, especially if the housemates enjoy drinking, too. I'm a pretty tidy and neat person in terms of shared areas, cleaning up as I go and making sure to not leave a mess behind. I'm completely fine with living with guys or girls, pets, etc. There are no real issues there at all. The only requirement I'd have is people who are trans friendly. Aside from that, I'm easy. Please feel free to send me a message if you would like me to take a look at your place, or if you would like to ask some questions. I look forward to hearing from you :)
Hey there, how you going?! I’m Brogan, 24 and moved to Melbourne about 6 months ago with work. 9-5 I work in commercial pharmaceuticals and try to drag myself to the gym before or after that. Weekdays are pretty chill and weekends too, maybe with a bit of added fun and always looking for a local adventure (anything from brunch to a weekend away). Always up to meet new people and want more than just someone to coexist with :) but don’t panic I like a bit of space too and will respect yours Shoot me a message and let’s meet up :)
My partner Lou and I are 25 and are currently unemployed living in Tassie and Sydney after returning from a few months overseas. We have spent the last 4 years living in Melbourne and miss it so much so we are eager to find a share house which is respectful, chill and has wholesome vibes! We have some savings so will be able to cover rent and bills until we find work. We both love exploring nature, gardening, hanging in parks, baking and dancing to house, disco and techno whether that be at home or out :) We want to live with like-minded people who are socially and environmentally aware and are reasonably clean! 420 friendly house would be a plus. *I have a good washing machine and cooking stuff that I can contribute to the house (all of our stuff is in a storage unit in Melbourne atm).
I am a 23 year old female who is very easy going, friendly, tidy and respectful of my housemates. I am looking for a room to rent in Melbourne around the Coburg, Pascoe Vale, Essendon, Maribyrnong area. I enjoy music, fashion and hanging out with my friends. Originally from country Victoria and looking to make friends in the city. I work full time. Happy to share with a couple of housemates and to hang out with you as well. I enjoy a glass of wine on occasions and love seeing a live band or attending a music festival.
I am Pilar (30) from Spain. I am looking for a room in a shared flat around Collingwood, Brunsbrick or Fritroy. After 4 and a half years living in Berlin (yes, that’s a lot!) I decided to move to Melbourne with a Working Holiday Visa. I am very much into music! I fully agree with you that King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard is one of the best Australian bands at the moment and Donny Bennet is an example to follow ;) I love dancing, attending concerts, cycling and hiking. I consider myself respectful, reliable and easy going. I normally adapt to any situation quite easy giving importance to what it really needs. To be honest, kitchen is not one of my strengths but I can still try to make paella.
I'm a Service Designer who has just moved from Brisbane for my new job here in Melbourne! I'm an 'experienced' house-sharer, animal lover, love a wine and a chat, but equally a hot chocolate and a Netflix binge. I love to sketch, explore new areas/outdoor wandering, and I'm excited to explore what Melbourne has to offer!
Hi there! I am a pharmacist/ new PhD student at Monash university, looking for a private room close to the university. I am a friendly, easy-going and bubbly person but I also occasionally enjoy my own time too. I also prefer clean and tidy environment, and I will be a comfortable share mate to live with as I already have few years of experience living in a share house. Please feel free to message me if you’re looking for a nice share mate! :)
Hi guys, my name's Greg, and I'm an American journalist. I visited Melbourne in April and fell in love, so I'm moving from Brooklyn to Melbourne this September to work for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. I've had roommates since college, so I'm clean, but also pretty relaxed about things. I like to go out and socialize on the weekends with friends, and sometimes during the week if I'm up for it. Every now and then I'll travel for work or to see a bit more of the country, and I'll be in Melbourne for at least a year.
Hi, I'm a simple 20 year old (21 start of next year) looking for somewhere to live in Melbourne while I'm studying at uni next year. I reside regional at the moment, so I'll be moving to the city hopefully between October-November this year. Currently work part time but will be doing full time study once in Melb. I'm quite an artsy person, love listening to music, reading, cooking & watching movies, love going out exploring so I ain't a house hermit.
My name is Aom. 29 years old. I'm Thai. I'm looking for 6-12 months rental. I'm work full time as a massage therapist. I'm friendly and quite tidy. Not really a party person. Love cooking and baking. I'm not smoke. Feel free to contact me . Would like to be your flatmate/housemate. Thanks
Hello, My husband and I moved to Melbourne about 3 weeks ago, and will be working at Royal Melbourne Hospital and the University of Melbourne Dental School. We are very active, and just come with 3 suitcases. We're minimalists, we love working out on our spare time, and bike all over the city during the week. Every weekend we plan to head out on exploration adventures and camping trips, if you like hiking, surfing, biking, playing.... ect join us! We enjoy books, talks, and just engaging people. We're from Portland, Oregon, where we have really gotten into hosting people in our own home there and sharing stories. We're neat and clean, and organized. We enjoy life. We're rarely home, as we leave for work between 6-7 AM and don't return until 7 PM ish, sometimes not until later as we hit the gym for a workout. We are really trying daily to minimize our footprint, and live sustainably, we probably do a load of laundry every 10 days, and actually eat at the hospital most days. We do have a car we would like to park, as its our get away on weekends. We're as easy going as they come, and are not new to sharing living spaces! We really need a reliable place to sleep at night, and hopefully can squeeze in some time to share some laughs.
I am 26 years old, male from Bosnia originally. I am looking for a place that has soul, is filled with creative kinds of people. I am very interested and active in music and other creative things. I like playing video games and sharing time with others. Am pretty extroverted. I love sharing time with friends. I keep my self pretty busy. Would love to find similar kind of people to live with.
Hi there, I'm an arts and communications professional, looking for somewhere short-term, ideally 2 months (until early November 2018). I am going overseas in January and have ended a lease recently, so looking for somewhere calm, positive, and stable for the next 12 weeks or so. I have lived in Brunswick for the past 2 years and love this suburb, so ideally Id like to stay in the area, but I am flexible. Please let me know if you have somewhere that would be mutually-suitable! Cheers :)
Hey I’m Michael. 24 year old Brit who has just moved to Australia. I’ve come via Canada, having lived in Vancouver for 7 months. Excited to make Melbourne my new home. A bit about me... - love travelling and exploring new cities - really into my music, and try to get to as many live shows and festivals as possible - enjoy a good day/night at the pub with mates balanced with some downtime with a book in hand or watching a film/tv series - work in office/project management In my humble opinion, I think I’m a pretty good housemate. I like to keep my room and shared spaces tidy and always happy to chip in with housework. Shout if you wanna know any more. p.s. I’m yet to be convinced by vegemite.
I work as a backline tech/ lighting operator/ technician for concerts and festivals and do club operating at Level 3 crown casino on the side when work gets quiet. I play drums for the band Newtown Story. I'm always up to chat and have a beer, very easygoing, relaxed and respectful of everyone
Hey there! I'm from California, and I would describe myself as friendly, clean and easy going. I'm a Master's student at University of Melbourne studying International Relations. I also plan to begin part-time work soon, so I will be pretty busy. I always make time to unwind and have some fun, though. In my free time I enjoy exploring the city, going wine tasting (I have a wine certification with WSET), discovering new restaurants, and catching up with friends. Though I am from the United States, I've been to Melbourne many times and also enjoy going to AFL games, the local museums, and the parks. I am quite social, but always very respectful of other people's space, sleep schedules and privacy. Moving date is also flexible.
I am studying at La Trobe University, and I work in the city. I currently reside in Bundoora but I'm looking for something between uni and work. I like to chill out, watch movies, work on new cosplay ideas when I have a day off. I don't have an official move date, but the sooner the better because of work. I smoke, I don't do drugs and I like the occasional drink. I will respect anyone's rule of no smoking at the house. I never smoke inside.
