Hi! I'm 31, from Sydney originally. Trained as a lawyer, I'm currently working f/t for the state government in social policy. I returned to oz in mid-2017 after four years in Europe (France and Switzerland) so naturally I'm pretty obsessed with cheese and French cinema. I have a raclette machine, not sure I need to write anything else... Other big loves include hanging out at all night bookstores, dancing in the dark, being a creep at dog parks, France, Debussy, Miyazaki and hummus. Having primarily lived in share houses for the past 11 years, I'm a considerate, respectful and responsible housemate. I'm always down for a good chat over a glass of wine or a weekly house dinner/pancake session but I can also appreciate that people need their space (i'm an introvert myself so often need recharge time but I'd prefer not to live with hermit-y types). I love cooking so would be great to live in a place with an oven. I'm pretty friendly and easy going and enjoy a sweet house party every now and then but mostly I'm looking for a chilled house with progressive people in their 30s :) If you have a doggo or speak french - defs get in touch, would love to live with you!
Max is an international student and part-time structural engineer, Lisa is a part-time assistant of accountant. We are friendly and pretty busy people, who normally spend their days at works or uni. Since we came to Melbourne we have been living in share houses so know all ins and outs.
I'm a relaxed, easy going guy who gets along with everyone and loves being around people. Here's a bit about myself: I've just finished off a course in nursing and want to be a mental health nurse in the future. I won't be going straight into mental health nursing. I want a break to relax and earn/save some money so I'll continue at my currently job, were I am already working 4-5 days a week part-time/fulltime. I enjoy socialising and having a beer with friends and new mates and also love a kickback watching some tv and having a laugh at the couples on married at first sight (this level of comedy can’t be scripted), Netflix is a close second. I'm also currently living in a share house
Hi guys, My names Tash, I'm 20years old and a full time uni student! Currently looking to move into the east side with my main girl Nala (kitty). I'm fun, outgoing and loves to eat food but I also like to have my own time. I'm respectful, clean and would love to live with people I can have as friends as well!
Hi there :) Looking to move ASAP! We are Emma and John, young(ish) Scottish couple looking for a place to live for approximately 4 or 5 months (at least). The only reason we won't commit to longer than that at the moment is down to the fact that sponsorship might take a while and we might have to go off and do regional work at the end of July/start of August. We are here on a WHV, but aiming for permanent residency. John is a sound technician and I am currently looking for work, I have a human rights degree and experience in events. Ideally I'll be working in the not for profit sector. John usually works long days (sometimes 14 hours +) and occasionally is working away on a big on tours for about 3 weeks at a time! We are looking for either a studio, 1 bed, granny flat or flat/house share - we really aren't too fussy! Trying to save where we can so $350 all in would be max :) We are currently in Yarraville and are quite fond of the west! So it'd be a bonus if you were around that area. We are clean and neat, non-smokers and aren't big party animals. So whilst we are looking for somewhere fun and relaxed, we'd prefer not to live in a party house. We would also prefer something either furnished or part furnished, we do have a some savings so paying for some things won't be an issue, we'd just prefer to save where we can... (visas ain't cheap). Easy train access to the city is a must, the ability to decipher a Scottish accent is a bonus! :) Let us know if you need any more info. Thanks
Hi, I'm Saad, I'm 28, and I just got a job with a business consulting firm in Melbourne CBD. I'm moving in from Sydney (28th Feb) and looking find a new home ASAP. I work full-time, regular hours. I'm an easy going guy and get along with everyone. Not new to flat sharing, shared flats in the UK and Italy while studying there, had a great time. I like to socialise and go out on the weekends and catch up with some friends over dinner. On weekdays, I'm just happy with a good cup of coffee, a good book, nearby gym, and quick WiFi. Oh, and I also love adventure sports!
Big man with soft heart. I’m looking to get along with the person/ people I end up living with because I am very sociable and social, but I also like time to myself from time to time. I am working full time, and spending my weekend relaxing at home or out with friends.
HI!! We're a couple who just moved to Melbourne a week ago and looking for somewhere to call home. Chilled, loving and fun people who are always keen for a chat over a beer or three, can also keep to ourselves when and if needed! We are from swe/eng, but not your typical St Kilda-backpackers. Promise. We'll make sure to be the best roomies with best taste in wine and take out. 22 and 25. Love a boogie on the town on occasions or trivia night at the pub. Sofia is from Stockholm, Sweden. Has spent the last few years working in hospo and retail back home and traveling around the world. Niall is from Isle of Wight, England. Has spent the last few years teaching in China, Vietnam and traveling around Asia. Contact us if you wouldn't mind sharing a house with us. Available to move in asap! Open minded towards everyone and everything. Except, you know, the bad people. Also respectful, superclean, and wash our dishes and stuff like that. Best, Sofia & Niall
Hey, I'm Rachel. I'm 25 and am planning on moving to Melbourne in May to work in the Royal Children's Hospital. I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking, going out for brunch/dinner/any food at all, but also don't mind slobbing with a (large) glass of wine and watching netflix. I'm super friendly and social but like my own space at times too. I probably wont be doing much other than chilling after a long day at work but at weekends or days off I'd like to keep busy, explore the city etc, so looking for housemates that I can be friends with! Ideally live with 2+ people, either mixed gender or female :)
Hi there! I'm Cass, 35yo, I'm originally from Adelaide and have been in Melbourne for about 7 years. I've just embarked on a career change working as a rope access technician, prior to that I worked in construction management and design. My work hours are generally Monday to Friday, early starts and early finishes so I've learnt the art of stealth morning prep! I usually spend a couple of nights a week rock climbing and try to get outdoors for a hike, a climb or a camping trip on the weekend. I occasionally visit my woodwork tutor for a weekend session where I attempt to finish a never-ending furniture project. I've lived in sharehouses so am well versed in sharing a space. I have all the furniture, appliances, kitchen stuff to start a new share house so that would be my preference. For the most part I like a clean and tidy house and appreciate when a housemate is on the same page. If you think we'd be a good match drop me a line
I enjoy hiking, photography and fixing things. I am currently working as a design engineer. I am looking for a home with a relaxed vibe during the week as I work full time and flatmates that are sociable and respectful. I am a clean and tidy person and I am looking for flatmates that are too.
Hi there, I'm a 29 year old italian/australian who just moved to Melbourne to start a postgraduate degree. I've always moved around, I've lived in a number of countries and places so I'm really happy to meet new people, I'm easy going and I find settling in pretty simple. I like cooking (i don't look or sound italian but i need to live up to the stereotype somehow), reading (I have a bunch of books- i feel like an idiot because that's most of the stuff i brought down), music, pubs (i'll be looking for my local as soon as I move in), and coffee- I forgot my great espresso machine in sydney and i'm in mourning/ cripplingly heartbroken. I'll move on eventually but if there are cafes around that will help me through my grief that's a plus. I'm sociable, i'm down to hang out over a few drinks- but since I'm studying i also need a fair amount of independent time. I'm hoping for a medium-long term place depending on the fit. Looking forward to getting in touch and hopefully find a great place I can settle into!
Hey:) We are two friendly Russian girls doing our Master's in Melb. Rina, 23 y/o, studying at Uni of Melbourne, Irina, 33, pursuing the degree at Monash Uni, both in love with Melbourne, sightseeing and travelling. We are easy-going and sociable, clean and tidy, respectful and responsible, always pay rent&bills on time. Unfortunately, we have to move out from our lovely houseshare in March due to the construction works on the premises. Ideally, would like to get a long-term rent, preferably two private rooms in a nice sharehouse but also would consider a shared room for two. We'd love to hear from you!
Hello there! My name is Lorne and I'm moving to Melbourne from London for a year or so. I am looking for a house/flat share, because, frankly, who wants to move into a new city and live alone? Ideally I would be living with at least two other people, in a household with a social atmosphere. I'm not too fond of isolationism when it comes to flatmates. Although, I'm not exactly a party animal either; I like a party, but not nightly. Other than that, I'm easy-going. Relative cleanliness, nicish area, and the opportunity to meet new people: that's really all I'm after. Look forward to meeting you! PS: I have a tendancy to accumulate books wherever I live. If ever you feel that I've left them in a clutter, my old roommate found a one time fix: take the biggest one, aim for the head, and the problem disappears pretty quickly after that
Hi everyone! We are two, 29 year old working professionals from the UK looking for a place to live in the Brunswick/Fitzroy area. Also open to areas North/East of the CBD like Richmond, Abbotsford, Kew, Hawthorn and others also :) I (Elyse) am a primary school teacher working cover relief around Melbourne and Alex works in Software/IT, focussing on account management and customer service. We are both very clean, tidy people who love socialising and are always up for a few quiet drinks and a chat. Both keen readers, travellers and film lovers. I love to cook and bake (so occasional cakes will be around!) We are looking for a nice cosy place with friendly like minded people to spend a little time with whilst we get to know the city a little better! We are huge animal lovers so if you have any pets that wouldn't be a problem at all (it would be a bonus!). Please get in contact if you think we would be suitable for your place! We look forward to hearing from you! Elyse & Alex x
Hi, My names Dan. I am a reasonably new transplant to Melbourne from Adelaide. I work full time as a control room monitor and am studying my Master of Social Work part time. Honestly, I am rarely home, as I have a lot of sporting commitments in the evening. I consider myself to be a social person, but I enjoy (and respect others) space.

Hello potential flatmates, I'm a student at University of Melbourne studying a Graduate Diploma in Arts (just finished a BA in Art History and Latin). My goal is to study medieval illuminated manuscripts so I will probably be at uni for a while yet. This is a career change for me - I have a Business degree and spent almost 20 years working in management consulting and banking in Australia and London before returning to my home town of Brisbane a few years ago to do my BA. I'm new to Melbourne so am getting out and doing lots of exploring - I love to go out walking for an hour every day, and am also trying to go to all the galleries, events, exhibitions, musicals, theatres, laneways, parks and gardens, historic buildings, etc. I am loving how much Melbourne has to offer. I have some old friends here already and seem to be making lots of new ones too. I also read a lot, spend far too much time on my computer and my guilty pleasures are sci-fi and fantasy TV, movies and books. Now that uni has begun, I'll probably be spending most of my home time studying and sleeping rather than indulging so much in the above. I am great to live with because I've been house-sharing for about 20 years and have had about 25 flatmates so I know the ropes. I'm clean and tidy, quiet and considerate, open to a friendly chat in the kitchen or a movie night, am good for a laugh, and big on open communication and working with others to come to solutions for any problems that come up. I will spend a lot of time doing my own thing as I'm committed to my goals. I do need a quiet, calm and stress free environment as I need to focus on my study. I would be deliriously happy if the home I moved in to was ruled by a cat, but this is not a necessity. Please do get in touch if you'd like me to be your housemate.
Hi everyone. I'm Simon, 33 year old chef, from Perth and recently relocated from Sydney. Just your average guy. I enjoy watching sports; socialising; going out to eat and cooking at home; netflix binges; occasional gym sessions; and life in general. Looking for a place to call home as I begin another chapter in my life. I cook, bake, clean, and keep to myself, but also enjoy sharing a meal with my housemate/s occasionally. I'm friendly, positive spirited, honest, genuine, reliable and open-minded. My profession is stressful enough so I'm all about keeping a relaxed and drama free atmosphere at home. If you're happy to chat for a bit beforehand, I'm willing to show you a glimpse of my personality. It'd be great to hear from you :)
I am a fun sociable 20 year old from Jersey Channel Island, who likes to have the odd drink but can also be down for some quiet time. I like to go for adventures and I am very easy to get a long with. I have just been offered a job in sales for a media company which is Monday to Friday so I wont be in the house in the day time. Feel free to contact me 😊
Hi there my name is Leaha I’ve just from from Sydney to Melbourne and I’m looking to rent a room ASAP. I am looking for to rent a FURNISHED bedroom with friendly housemates. I work full time at night, I’m a relaxed non party girl who enjoys her own space, however I love a good conversation. Since I work night shift, I’m usually asleep during the day and will usually not be around on the weekends. When I’m not working I like to go for walks, draw and write music. If I sound like a good housemate please give me a message! Thanks Leaha
