I am living in Melbourne nearly since 3 years and looking for a new home. I am coming from germany, 34, full time working and i would describe myself as pretty easy going. i lived in shared houses /flats since i am 19. i am pretty experienced in sharing a home. I like to go out for a beer once in a while, but normally prefer netflix or a computer game. I would be happy to come along, present myself and have a look if that would work for you.
My boyfriend and I (both from Manchester in the UK) have been together for 5 and a half years and have decided to go on an adventure for a year doing a working holiday visa here in Australia! We are a very chilled out couple, with no dramas and enjoy socialising with friends, going for drinks and eating good food, whether it's homemade or at a nice restaurant. We are both into fitness (I like dancing and George likes running) and love spending our down time watching good TV. We plan on working full time until the end of January in Melbourne before we do our farm work. Important to note that we are very clean and tidy so are looking for a house with equally tidy housemates :)
Hey, my name is Shrav and I'm a 27 year old bloke, who just graduated and stepping into adulthood. I have stayed on-campus and shared houses all this while and consider myself as an orderly, social and tidy person who cleans up well after. I totally enjoy having few bevs over some fifa (Soccer) and going out on the weekends. Also, know bit of strumming the guitar to entertain myself and others too (if you down for some sick tunes). If you think I'm the right fit to your house, would appreciate a lot if you could give me a viewing so we could introduce ourselves. Looking forward to hear from you soon. Shoot me a text or give a ring anytime. Cheers :)
My name is Dallyce, I am from Canada and have been living in Australia since October 2018. I have just renewed my work visa and I have at least 18 more months to live and work in Oz and I want to see that happen! Therefore, I am looking for a new home and housemate(s) as I must move from my current flat mid October. I am open to any length of stay that is available. I enjoy movies, a beer at the pub, trying new restaurants, spending time outdoors, board games and more. I am very clean and respectful of personal space but I am always down for a good chat and a good time.
Hi, my name is Mira. I just arrived from Germany and I am looking for a long-term place to stay from Oktober (preferably from the 15th). I work as a research fellow in psychology at the University of Melbourne. I am easy going, clean and tidy and like to travel and play tennis. I would like to find a cozy home to share with nice and cheerful people. I would like to occasionally have a dinner with my future flatmates but also fully respect their privacy.
Hello there. I am seeking a home to share with community minded, creative beings who are interested in co-creating a peaceful, harmonious, easy-going, tidy, respectful, loving and nurturing space together. I am currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and as well completing my Kundalini Yoga training program. My hobbies and interests are in : spirituality, philosophy, healing, well-being (meditation, yoga, nutrition, kirtan, natural therapies, etc..), conscious dance, sacred music, films, art, reading, being in nature, eating out, travel, singing and pretty much any workshop or book on self-development that allows me to learn more about myself, others and improve who I am as a person. I am honest, mature and respectful of others space, and also seeking the same from others. I am also drug and alcohol free, and would prefer a home of open, authentic, conscious connections and communication with one another. I am not fussed about living with others who enjoy a wine over a meal, but definitely not interested in a party house. I am interested in a quiet space where I can study, as well as, re-charge and unwind. I would enjoy a conversation, meal or outing with fun-loving housemates every so often. As well as a tidy space, where we all contribute in keeping the environment clean and tidy for all. A home near public transport services is a necessity, preferably train and tram services. An unfurnished room and additional storage space would be ideal. I am vegan and would prefer a vegan and/or vegetarian household. I have lived with meat-eaters before though that are respectful and understanding. I also volunteer in assisting with and marketing events within the conscious Melbourne community, as well as activism for the welfare and rights of animals. I am more than happy to live with cats, and the more the merrier :)
Hey! I’m a copy writer working with an agency in Sth Melbourne (out of office or café) and study dance part time. I like to keep my home clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. I’m respectful of others space, property and varied timetables. I am mother to a rescue cat called Tinka, she is no trouble, but will try to sleep on your lap if given the chance. I’m social, outgoing and left leaning politically, enjoying a discussion on a myriad of topics, but also happy doing my own thing (read: Netflix addict). Not a drinker or smoker, but do enjoy going out with friends socialising and having a boogie. I do eat meat when out, but rarely cook it at home, often whipping up vegetarian style feasts to share. I’m into energy efficiency, reducing waste, recycling and the like. I'm looking for a homely and friendly household vibe. Happy doing my own thing but I’d also like to be friends with my housemate(s). Good convos over cups of tea, dinners together when schedules align as the people you live with form a part of your life. I enjoy Netflix binges, playing board games, dance, music, tea, cats, nature and a bit of banter about feminism is always fun. Please note: my move date is flexible.
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a place to move in October. I'm web developer and designer and some days I work at home so I need good internet and some space to keep my bicycle. I also study English at night.
Hi there, I’m Anna! I’m back in Melbourne after travelling around Australia for a few months. I grew-up in Geelong but I’ve been living in Melbourne (on and off) for the past 6 years. I’m passionate about public health and am starting a Master of Ageing at Melbourne Uni in October - I’ll be studying and working part-time. I’m looking for a relaxed share-house to join. I’m friendly, reliable and like to keep my space clean and tidy. When I’m not working or studying, I’m relaxing at home or out with friends. I’m hoping to find a place from the start of October, but am flexible with this date.
Hello, I'm Matthew. I hail from Ireland and will be moving over to Melbourne in mid September. Since finishing my engineering degree 3 years ago, I've been working as an energy engineer in Dublin, Ireland. My plan is to work within my profession Monday - Friday and enjoy taking weekends off. My first love is music. Listening, dancing, even playing some. It doesn't matter. I'll talk about it until the cows (kangaroos over here?) come home. I'll listen to anything although I haven't a clue what's hot in the charts; I prefer more old school stuff, house and Irish trad music. Coming in a close second would be the great outdoors. I love surfing (not saying I'm good at it, just passionate about it), hiking and cycling. I heard Melbourne is a cycling friendly city which I'm delighted with! Even a walk in the park with a frisbee is sweet. Just being outside and with nature is the best. Last but by no means least, I love to bake/cook. I'll try anything new so long as it doesn't poison me and I spend long periods in the kitchen figuring out / prepping meals and cleaning up after of course. I love socialising and trying new things, keeps my mind healthy. I'm mad into sustainability and looking after our environment whenever I can i.e recycling and re-using. I'm hoping to find a place that thinks about looking after our little planet too. It's difficult to determine if I'm the right fit for a place just going by this, everybody will say they want to live with people that are easy going and always clean up after themselves. I'll be happy to live with people that enjoy the things I like stated above. Everything else will fall into place after. I'm arriving in Melbourne on September 23rd. I'll be available to take any viewings all day; I'll be searching for a new job while I look for accommodation. Bye for now.
