Hi. I am a friendly, open minded travel enthusiast who has just moved to Melbourne to start my second degree (International Studies) at RMIT. I am a considerate and clean roommate who wants to make friends with housemates and not feel afraid to be myself. I enjoy a good beer or wine, play the guitar and like to socialise but am not a party animal. I am looking for a place for 4 months to begin with, but may like to extend at a later date. Please feel free to message me. I would love to meet my future housemates before I move in to make sure we are a good fit :)
Originally from Perth but been in Melbourne for 2 years and think of it as home now! Just finished a film degree so love film-making and watching films as well as being creative in general and making clothes, jewellery etc… also do pole and burlesque dancing. Love drinking wine and going out to gigs and art shows and all that but keep things pretty chill when I'm at home and am respectful of the other people I live with. Really hoping to find a place where I can be friends with the people I live with and make it feel like home. Bonus if you have pets!

I'm a Brazilian/German architecture student in Melbourne. Already a civil engineer with masters but decided to start it all over again studying architecture, guess there is no better way to make a great change in life than by moving to Australia. Into art, technology, history, gardening, architecture but trying to keep myself always curious about everything else. Currently not working but will probably try to find something after finding a place to stay.
Hi there, I'm Rush and I'm currently studying Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne. Im going for my 3rd year and I am looking for a nice place to stay. Im easy going, down to earth and not messy. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have something that might suit me, it's quite urgent. Cheers.
Heyy Guys! Just currently moving from hobart Looking for a place in Melbourne to start a career in real estate. Im down to earth, laid back and a fun guy to hang with. Im also up for a team up with someone, so if you want to go halves in an apartment to rent we can do that too. So hit me up if anyone of you guys are intrested!
Hi potential future-flatmates!! I'm from Hobart, Tasmania, and I've just moved to Melbourne for university (UniMelb), so I'm hoping to find a place in that area somewhere. I play hockey and I also do a bit of orienteering (bonus points if you don't have to google 'what is orienteering'), and I've got a bike to get from A to B. That makes me sound quite a bit more energetic than I am, but I do have my lazy moments (trust me). Also, if you want a pub-buddy, then look no further! Say 'beer' or 'wine' or 'alcohol' and I'll be there with bells on. Same goes for coffee. I hope that I'm easy to live with, I do chores and I generally clean up after myself. I listen to music a lot, especially when I'm studying, but if you don't like that then thats why I've got headphones. I don't mind moving into a non-furnished place, but if its furnished, then, well, what a bonus. I don't smoke, I love most animals, I'm not a morning person, and I eat almost continuously (but don't worry, I wont eat your food). I've ticked 'working part-time' because hopefully I will have a casual hospo job by then (anyone know of one going..?) but I am currently unemployed, unfortunately. Also flexible with moving in dates and preferred length of stay. Hopefully my rambling has convinced that I'd be a cool person to live with! If you think so just give me a yell and we can meet up!!
Hi, I'm studying my Masters of Architecture at the University of Melbourne. Currently looking for a place to call home. I'm from the Gold Coast and spent a week driving down the east coast on the way to Melbourne. I'm a bit of an artist, so you can expect me to set up an easel and canvas somewhere around the place. Other than that I don't take up much room. I'm quite the nomadic character, and I've spent about a year in Nepal and India. In 2016 I was in Myanmar, Thailand and went on university related trips to Japan and India (for the second time). Looking to settle in Melbourne and focus on my studies. I'm interesting in everything, but my passion in life is art and design.
My name is Michael, I am a 23 year old coffee professional from Perth and moving to Melbourne at the beginning of March. I am starting a job as a coffee trainer for an awesome company in Collingwood and will be working 5-6 days per week. I enjoy coming home to relax with a tasty beer or wine, some good conversation and a movie. On my nights and days off I enjoy exploring the city for new places to eat and drink and spend my holidays snowboarding as much as possible! I have been renting for the last 6 years including in Melbourne, Perth and Switzerland and have never been late with any payments. I am trustworthy, clean and considerate and excited to find my new home!
I'm a semi-workaholic who is very sociable. Pretty chilled out, lately I've been focusing on work. I've joined up as I've been home a while after spending the better part of the last 3-4 years travelling and living overseas. The type who's pretty focused most of the time (see career orientated and trying to get myself back into a regular gym routine). But not so much that I'm no fun, regularly catching up with friends and lead a pretty active social life, looking to live with people of a similar attitude but not a requirement, as long as I don't feel like I'm walking around on egg shells and feel at home, I'm happy. I've put 6 months as my preferred length of stay as I don't want to commit anyone including myself to living with anyone I don't get along, but more than happy looking for something long term.
Hi I'm looking for a fun and friendly sharehouse - I'm currently living in st kilda but also open to the north side around Brunswick... I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, beach volleyball and occasionally sharing a wine at the end of a long day (make that a beer in the summer!) there also Frank cat :) cheers, Andrea
I am an argentinian fashion designer and a photographer, who enjoys chilling with a book, music or just going out for coffee or beers. I like to spend my free time working on my photography projects and travelling around the city, visiting museums or exhibitions. I am looking for a long term place to stay as I am here with working visa. I am clean and tidy, and work full time in a fashion company. I am friendly and keep a happy mood most of the time, always willing to share meals and conversations!

I'm a relaxed and tidy individual; enjoy my space but also enjoy co-working, sharing meals or just hanging out. I sometimes like to go to gigs too. I have a Bachelor Degree in Music and play guitar and bass; I usually have a few musical projects on the go at any time. Sometimes I go busking in the CBD and play gigs with a band. I work part time as a bartender at the Melbourne Recital Centre and am halfway through a Psychology Post-Grad. I really enjoy gardening, reading, cooking and listening to music in my spare time when I'm not playing. I live a humble existence and am always open to learning new things. I'm keen to team up with people who are looking for a new house. Ideally we'd all be creatively swayed into different artistic disciplines so we can bounce ideas off each other. Looking for people who would be interested in getting involved in multi-disciplinary collaborative projects and who would want to keep the house as an evolving entity. I have a lil cat named Pepper who would ideally be moving with me. She's a nutter at times (mostly dinner times) but is super affectionate and independent.
Howdyyy, I'm Emily 23 year old student of Architecture (masters), Working for a Archi firm in the city. I'm a pretty sociable person.. I would like to find a house that enjoy sharing a meal or two together and even a boogie from time to time. I enjoy all things creative, learning new skills and dancing to techno!!! Hi all! So I'm 23, from Israel just moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I spent the last five months traveling around Asia (India-China-Vietnam-Cambodia) Looking to settle down here for a few months to save up a bit. Working in hospitality. I enjoy cooking - not an amazing cook but I do love exploring and learning new things - and planning to do lots of it seeing how in the past five months I was eating out. I love music especially indie and folk and enjoy just chilling with others trading new songs and artists. I'd like to share a house with flatmates that occasionally get together for a house meal or a beer at the end of the day.
Hi! I'm a full-time student at swinburne uni (studying graphic design) that enjoys being outside, looking at art, attending gigs and reading. My friends tell me that i'm 'super chill,' my mum tells me i 'need to stop making dad jokes,' and dogs don't tend to say anything, but they seem to like me plenty well too. I'm still working on my cooking skills, but I'm a pretty excellent baker and will make my family's secret recipe sponge cake on birthdays! I am also a tidy, friendly person and don't mind hanging out with flatmates, but enjoy time alone equally as much :^)
Heya! My names Jayden and I'm 20. I've recently moved to Melbourne from New Zealand for 6 months to a year for a working break before I return home to complete an arts degree in Anthropology. I'm a real genuine and friendly bloke, always down to meet new, beautiful souled, like minded people. Hit me up if you're looking for someone whom: - Is super friendly and a good conversation - Is a lover of all peoples - Always down for a cheeky beer and a yarn - Loves a good boogie - Is into good tunes - Is someone who can provide hugs at the best of times - Can also provide a pretty smile for you every morning - Can move in whenever suits - And is an overall chill dude There's a lot more to me than that, I just find it really hard putting myself into words. But If I sound like someone you could live with, give me a buzz.
Hey Everyone, My name is Amber and I'm fun, clean, easy going and friendly :) I am looking for a place for at least 12 months, preferably longer. Hey, I'm Aimee-May from the UK. I've been travelling for 3 months so far and I'm looking for work and accommodation. I attended boarding school when I was 11, so I'm used to living and sharing space with others. I'm up for a chilled night in, but also a mental night out. I'm responsible and looking to meet new people.
Hi, Im a friendly, social being who likes a tidy house. I've lived in all sorts of share situations - sharing food, going it alone, cleaning as needed and keeping to a strict roster. I'm reliable and organised - hopefully this doesn't mean I'm not fun! I like to think I am and love a good bonding/gossip sesh and a laugh. Like to share teas/wines/beers as they happen and have no problems grabbing washing off the line before rain, watering pot plants when others are away and picking this up from the shops on the way home. I'm an urban planner working for state gov full time, a country girl at heart I'm a fan of a bit of gardening. My current house has chickens which I love and am sad to be leaving. I have a super affectionate cat and an entire house of furniture to contribute (although I'd happily discuss letting some of it go if needed). Looking to move by May 15 either into a great existing sharehouse or start a new one. My location preference is super-free, I'm only in need of a train within 10mins walk or a 1/2 hr easy bike ride to the cbd.
Hi, my name is Alex and I'm looking for a relaxed place where I can enjoy the company of my housemates. I work full-time and am looking to move closer to work. I'm also looking for housemates that are easy going and considerate like myself. I play guitar and enjoy socialising but equally enjoy time to myself. I'm LGBT+ friendly and hope to find like-minded individuals to share a home with. :)
I'm a 23yo girl from Peru, but I've been living in Australia for three years now. I'm working or study 7/7, so I'm usually back home to chill or cook some dinner. Would be great to find some gay friendly housemates who won't mind to socialise too.I don't smoke and I don't drink much, coffee it's my favourite addiction. I'm interested to move out the first or second week of March. Adriana
Hey guys! I'm on a look out for a long term room available from the 1th of March (or later) preferably around northcote/fitzroy north/thornbury/brunswick/east. I'm 27 years old, and I am starting my PhD in Social Sciences at La Trobe University (Bundoora Campus). It is 4 years program, so it would be nice to find housemates I could call friends:) I'm very chilled, vegetarian, clean, love yoga, travelling and cooking. I love a drink of wine and a chat every now and then but can also respect personal space. I come from Poland, however, I already lived in Melbourne for 11 months (W&H). I went travelling SE Asia for few months, then visited my family in Europe and now I'm back in this beautiful city :) I have lived in many countries before (lots of stories to tell)! I preferably need something furnished, or at least with a bed as I don't currently own any furniture over here. I'm looking to live in a house with a garden/ backyard, so not very keen for apartment. Unfortunatelly I am allergic to cats. However I love dogs, so if you have one I can even take care of him sometimes! Please me know if you have anything available!! xx
Hi I'm a Swedish 20 year old Swede who just arrived to Melbourne and i'm planning on staying here for at least 4 months (could possibly be more). I just got a job at a foodplace in qv and I'm now wanting to move out of the hostel i'm currently staying at. I would prefer to have my presentation about my self face to face or via telefon, because im not very good in text, if that is possible for you. Hope to hear from you soon, Ebbe Von Gertten
I am a 20 year old university student who grew up in Singapore. I love a great night with friends in addition to being passionate about sport and music. I am really easy going and flexible with having people over. I am a people person and love to get to know new people.
Georgie and I are both from England looking to spend some months in Melbourne. We are both recent graduates and love the outdoors, eating out and socialising. Looking to find a place and other flat mates to enjoy together what Melbourne has to offer.
Hey I'm 22 and have just moved from Perth. I've lived in sharehouses for the past 5 years, and am really clean and easygoing. I study naturopathy full time and work part time.
Hello, I am an Architect from India, in Melbourne for postgraduate study at the University of Melbourne, looking for a flatshare. I am a fun, respectful and clean human person. I have shared houses before and get along well with most people. I am pretty social and like to cook veggie treats, sketch a little and explore new places. If you like catching up on the latest movies, TV shows or anything visual for that matter, we would get along quite well. We would also get along very well if you'd like to be left alone. Privacy is important for me and I respect this need in others as well. My idea of fun is to catch up with friends over drinks or food and sometimes a quiet night in with a good book or a movie. I am looking for easy going, conscientious and tidy people to cohabit a space with. Cheers
Hi there! My name is Sarah, and I am relocating from Adelaide in April. I'm looking to move into a fully furnished place but can furnish my own room. I'm a very easy-going person, friendly and open-minded so we will never be short of fun conversations. I'm neat and tidy with my personal spaces and have great respect for those around me. I like to cook and am more than capable of cleaning and cooking. I'm more the type of person to have someone over for dinner as opposed to being a big party person, but I do love to socialise. In regards to practical details, I'm working full-time as an Accounts Administrator but am looking at moving into HR. I look forward to hearing from you!
We are a Chilean couple traveling to Melbourne with a working holiday visa, and we are looking for a quiet place to live in. Both of us are very clean and tidy, as well as considerate, polite, respectful, calm and easygoing. We love sports and nature. We are professionals from the Humanities / Arts area. We are non-smokers.
Hi! I'm Stace, just turned 26. I work full time as a retail manager. I've only been living in Melbourne for just over 4 months (originally from Brissy if there's anything follow Queenslanders out there) so I'm hoping to live somewhere where I can possibly make some new friends out of it! I love live music and a cheeky bev (or six) on a school night.
I am a 23 year old Architecture Student doing my masters degree at the University of Melbourne. I enjoy music, hiking, art, film and have a great sense of humour. I am easy going, clean and reliable.
Clean and tidy. Respect other people's space. Sociable but not a party person. Able to pay rent on time. Graduate student, will be working part time. Looking for a quiet and friendly place to stay. Hi, I’m Hernan from the Philippines and I am a grad student at Melbourne Uni. I am looking for a quiet, clean and secure place to stay, with a functional kitchen and laundry area. The place must be accessible to public transport going to Melbourne Uni or walking distance. I would be happy to share a house with like-minded people who might be busy with our own pursuits but would also enjoy occasional discussions or outings. More About Me I’m an engineer currently involved in renewable energy projects here in my country and will be studying the same field there for a year and a half. I am in my early thirties, enjoy exploring new places and will be happy to meet new people. I’m not sporty but I won’t say no to some hiking, climbing, biking and the likes. I have experienced sharing a room/house during my college years, so I know how to keep to myself or engage my housemates as needed. I’m respectful of other people’s space and able to clean up my own. I am also willing to share in the house chores if that’s the arrangement. I should be able to pay rent on time as I have a modest allowance from a scholarship, as long as it is within budget. Let me know if you have a nice place for a grad student like me. Thank you!
Hello! I'm a 30 year old professional working in social media who works office hours. I am quiet, clean and tidy. I'm a foodie, who enjoys going out for a meal. I also have a little friendly cat called Scout who doesn't damage furniture and is very quiet. I'm looking for a unfurnished apartment or townhouse to move into. I would prefer a bed and study but if a room is large enough for a desk, it would be perfect.
Hiya! I'm a 28 year old female with a well trained and very friendly 5yo cat, Dr. Watson. I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney to take up uni and will work part or full time as necessary. (Previously a qualified veterinary nurse- have worked the past 4 years in insurance- escalations/disputes/assessing claims). I've just returned from backpacking around Europe and am hoping to move to Melbourne in March. I keep a clean house and I'm quite respectful of noise. I do like to drink and 'party' at times however this is rarely at home. If you are the kind to have people over regularly that is perfectly fine by me! (On a 'worknight' I'd appreciate some hush by 10.30 though) I'm hoping to have someone to hang out with, but also will respect your privacy (as I hope you will mine). I have a passion for music, animals, food (I'm vegan but not a wanker- you can eat meat!), philosophy, nature and travel.
I'm 23 and I work at Coach store at DFO which makes me super busy. I love to keep fit and have a healthy lifestyle and I have a strong love for wine and cheese.
Hey! me and my girlfriend are looking for a place to live , we are recently arrived in melbourne and staying in a house in richmond at the moment, but we like it more in St Kilda or any of the northern part of Melbourne for its vibe. We both quite like music, and are pretty creative, thats why we came to melbourne. I work in a cheese shop in the prahran market and my girlfriend is starting work in hospitality as well, we are both respectful, tidy and easygoing. I am from chile by the way and she is from the US , and we are planning on staying in Melbourne for a while, i will personally be most of the time either at work, or out doing workshops ( i plan on taking some music making lessons and photography and maybe cooking and dancing ) , and my girlfriend too, so we would be home mostly for the relaxing part, i quite film as well so i enjoy watching movies and reading, watching documentaries, etc. So thats more or less our plan for Melbourne and if we have the time for it probably going for little nature trips on the weekends if i get to fix my camper van. Well anyways if its still possible to make a visit and you feel like it we would be intrested so just hit me back ! Thanks.
Hi all, Looking for a place on the north side that is available now. One of my friends (25) is also looking, so if you have more than one room available please get in touch. I'm a second-year master's student and part-time retail lackey. Into cycling, cooking, reading and being gay. Cheers, Oscar
Sian and I are a cute laid back couple. We like to keep to ourselves just as much as we like to go out and about. We currently live in a little beach unit by ourselves in Brisbane, but I've been offered a better job in Melbourne so unfortunately we are going to leave the beach life behind. Most work days we just come home, cook dinner, watch a TV series and sleep. Sian is into pole fitness and I'm into motorbikes. When we get spare time we like to take the bike out for adventures/camping/etc. Ideally I need a secure location to keep my motorbike at night (it doesn't require much room). We are hoping to find a comfortable place with a small number of occupants. We are looking for a nice sized room, we would prefer not to be crammed in like sardines as there will be the 2 of us in 1 room and we would both like to set up a small desk. Hopefully we can find some nice flatmates soon so that we can move down to Melbourne shortly after we get home from overseas in March. Thanks for reading
Hey I'm Dan, 22, full time employed in financial services, pretty extraverted. I'm relatively new to Melbourne and looking to move near the CBD. Would love to find one or more cool housmates. I like Great food, beer, wine & whisky and I'm told I'm excellent company to binge watch nextflix and drink cheap wine with. If your a fan of Doctor Who, Game of Thrones or South Park that's already a great start. I'm pretty chilled out, like to keep a clean place. I don't have any gender or cultural preferences on who I live with, as long as your friendly and good company I'm we will get along great. Also somewhere with a car park would be great.
