I love to cook, I am a musician and active climber and am keen to get a locals view of Melbourne. It is my second stop in Australia and my first time to the country. I'm working Melbourne Comedy Fest.
Hi, my name is Noona 😊 I have moved from Western Australia about 5 months ago for my studies. I'm a full time student studying naturopathy in the city but also work at the cherry tree hotel helping me be very reliable with money and bills etc. I'm 29years old and have travelled the world for 10 years gaining me the experience of good house sharing etiquette. I tend to like my environment clean and fresh with lots of nature and plants about...plus I have a wonderful crystal collection to bring good vibes to the household. I like to believe I bring happiness and light to all those around me and am falways willing to share my alternative therapy (massage, iridology, meditation, and natural medicine) with the household. I also own a beautiful VW kombi van so awesome adventures can be had in that too!! I'm not a massive party animal but enjoy a small shin dig/ BBQ here and there. I'm a big animal lover and like to volunteer/dog sit from time to time so a pet friendly pad would be ideal but I don't have any pets of my own so have my options open. Hopefully I am the house mate you are looking for but if not i hope you find who your looking for 🙏🏼 Thanks so much. Peace and light, Noona
My name is Matt, I'm from Manchester in the U.K. I'm very easy going, easy to chat to, very clean and organised and always up for making new friends. If my housemates generally wanted to keep a chilled environment or a crazy one, either is fine by me! I work part time in Melbourne Central and also DJ on the side. I don't mind any kind of living scenario, I just want to get out of hostels and meet some new people!
Hello - I'm Catriona, 27 yo, Female, working full-time near the airport (never know what to write in these things!)... I like to think myself as a social go getter. Yet at the same time, I am also happy to do my own thing. I work full time, which means I usually like to kick back during the week. However, I am also partial to impromptu BBQ's and a cheeky wine every now and then. I also have great fun trying to convince myself that I'm a health enthusiast; enjoy running... My current housemate is sadly looking to move a little too far for my work commute. So sadly, this means that we will need to part ways. Keen to find somewhere close to the Thornbury area (I just love it). Would be happy to do a team up, or come and check out a space. I come with a few house hold items, though not much. A hammock, and a BBQ - because, really, what else do you need? Look forward to hearing from you.
I'M looking for a fab house/apartment to move into with some chill people. I'd like somewhere sooner rather than later, but am pretty flexible with moving dates. I'm looking for somewhere I can call home. I'm not home very much as I like to keep myself busy, but when I am I like to enjoy my space and keep things tidy and clean. I'm not too fussed on anything else. At the moment I'm just working full time in hospo in the city, but will begin studying fashion merchandising at RMIT mid year. Other than that I like to create, make, photograph things when I find the time. I like having a good time and go out and socialise with friends at bars etc. a bit. I'm usually quiet coming home though and don't really bring the party back to the house. I do also enjoy going to festivals and try to go to gigs when I'm not working. Im all about good times and chill vibes so I'm not too keen on unnecessary drama or negativity. I'll give you your space if you want it, but I will also be there to chat/throw banter/chill with. So if you're cool with that then hmu pls xox
Hello,I am Sky,looking for a room between Brunswick and city, close to tram or train station. I work fulltime, love nature and outdoor sports, considerate for every flatmates as we share the home sweet home together! Would love to find a comfortable home where after one day work or study we can relax and enjoy life itself!
Hey! We're a young couple who loves to play video games, go out and be social. We're clean, enjoy cooking and love animals (but have none of our own). I'm working casually and will be returning to uni in a few months, so we are looking for a place where we can hang out during the day, binge watch some netflix or make some cookies. We don't mind a bit of housemate interaction but respect privacy of others. Bonus points for a dishwasher, heating and aircon. We come with our own bedroom furniture so we're flexible about furnishing. Slide into our dms ;)
I work full time in IT and recently moved to Melbourne from Perth. I'm easygoing, very quite, respectful, clean, sociable and well versed in share house living. I can offer several references from past housemates I previously lived with in Perth. I have a car so I am looking for some kind of parking.
Amanda and I are in our mid to late twenties looking for a whole property to lease. We are reliable, clean, hard working women who work full time. Available date is flexible.
HEY GUYS! Katie, 18, carpenter. I'm super fun but also enjoy relaxing by myself. I'm the girl with a Jeep Wrangler and loves anything adventurous. I have had to look after myself since 14 so I’m not your typical 18 year-old as I’m extremely independent. I’m more then happy to help out with cooking as I enjoy making yummy food and I clean up after myself. I worked at Grill'd for over a year so i can make the best burgers you'll ever eat! Don't smoke Allergic to cats LOVE DOGS I'm looking for a house with a few people in it that are positive, friendly and would see each other as a friend, not just people who rent rooms in the same house! I'm super happy all the time and just love having a laugh.
My name is terri, I am 25, female and have a full time job and looking for a little place I can relax in, after a long day at work . I am a really tidy and respectful person who I loves photography and design, I also enjoy keeping fit, writing and scuba diving.
Hi, I’m Mathew, 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT University. I’m very clean and tidy, respectful of privacy, trustworthy and do my share of the housework along with paying bills on time. I’m friendly, social and always up for a chat. My course is a handful, so I tend to be on the quiet side when at home. I’m looking for a place within 30mins of the city, with a large bedroom for all of my stuff. It must be near public transport. My interests tend towards the geeky side of things, I am very good with computers and can always lend a hand with anyone’s IT troubles. Non smoker, no drugs, don’t drink. Looking to move around Easter time, preferably earlier. Bond and first months rent ready to go!
Hi, I'm moving to Melbourne soon (beginning of April) from Perth and looking for somewhere cozy to live in. I'm a graduate architect and I have lived my whole australian life of 6 years in Perth. I am originally from Mauritius, i speak french and i like to think I'm an interesting person to hang with. I'm clean, easy to live with, house-trained, & responsible. I love meeting new people, and discovering new cities. I'm excited for this new move and I hope you will be part of my journey.
Hey guys, My name is Jordan, and I am 18 years of age... ( a baby.. I know right!). I am currently living here in Perth, however will be relocating to Melbourne just after Easter! I will be working Full Time when I arrive... at Chadstone. I come from an Italian background, so cooking will not be an issue ( my mother has taught me the best of the best when it comes to Italian cooking). I am extremely sociable, I love everything fashion, food & culture. This has all led me to move to Melbourne. I am someone who is clean, I respect other peoples spaces, however I still love to go out & party every now and then with friends.
Hi future housemate 🙂 My name is Surangi. I work full time as a Project Support Officer in International Development Aid for an ASX-listed professional infrastructure and environmental services company and just moved to Melbourne from Sydney for work on the 13th. I'm a friendly ambivert who enjoys a quiet night in as well as the occasional big night out. I enjoy going out and meeting new people, trying new ciders (not really a wine connoisseur sorry, but hey more for you right?) and exploring my surroundings. But I also love to just relax at home - read a good book or discover a great new TV show. I am trying to be better about getting to the gym regularly but so far it's been a bit of a fail. I am pretty neat and tidy, and easy to live with. I also happen to make awesome shortbread and deliciously addictive Nutella brownies #justsaying😉 I'm looking to share a place with someone/s in their mid 20s - mid 30s with a similar-ish approach to life. Honest, upfront, friendly and clean. No couples or homes with pets please. Happy to go on the lease. My favourite thing to do in Melbourne is attending the Australian Open. And just walking around and exploring. I think that just about covers it, contact me if you're interested by messaging me here, Surangi 🙃
Hey I'm Cameron and I'm 29 years old and looking for a place to live by mid April. I work full time shift work so I come and go, I keep to myself and very respectful of others but at the same time I am easy to get along with and always up for a chat and to share a meal. I go to the gym regularly and enjoy catching up with friends and family. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Gday big Smokey's I'm a single bloke looking to move to Melbourne to hone in on my chef skills and enjoy the fast paced Melbourne lifestyle. I'm over the party life style, but enjoy meeting people without excess party life. I come with 2 well trained and small dogs. Ill be lining up employment before I arrive but being a chef I wont find it hard to gain a full time job. I love AFL, getting lost in the bush, playing poker and I'm not a bad chess player either. Let me know if your keen woop woop
Hey guys! How are you doing? My name is Luis, I'm 26, Venezuelan, civil engineer, living in Melbourne for one year now, at the moment working mon-frid in the construction industry and studying a Diploma in Leadership two nights a week. I'm looking for a place to move in in about 3 weeks and I'm looking for something where I can socialize with the people that I'm living with, more than a place to only go to sleep and eat. This is something really important to me at the moment, I want to make some friends at home more than just live with some people that I'd never see. I'm pretty busy working and studying during the week, but I'd love to share time with the flatmates on the weekends over a meal, a party, some beers, a movie or whatever. I like to travel, hangout on weekends with the flatmates, enjoy a beer at home or whatever you plan. I'm open minded, always up to have a chat with the people that I'm living, easy going, clean and ordered (I like the places where everyone give a hand with the cleaning and housekeeping to keep the place clean and ordered as a home instead of a crazy dirty house). If I sound the kind of person you are looking for please send me a message or even if you'd like to know a bit more about me!
Hey! Danielle 28 :) Beauty therapist, waitress and entrepreneur. Easy going, friendly. Love food and wine. Music and movies. Travelling and experiencing new things. Want to get into fitness more! Like my own space but also happy to chill out over dinner etc when I'm home which isn't a whole lot .. my hours are all over the shop.
I work at a charity and have a dog. Am rather a hermit than a party animal. Non smoker, clean, respectful.
I am a full time student at RMIT City Campus and am currently unemployed (though looking for work) and living off Centrelink benefits. I have lived independently since I was fifteen, I know the importance of keeping a home clean and paying bills and rent on time. I am a very introverted person and like my time to myself but also enjoy spending time watching movies or dining with those I live with. :) I'm a very artsy person and love to make my home my haven. I like: Film. Art shows. Plants. Bees. Browsing the internet. Chatting over coffee or tea. I am a casual smoker but never indoors and never around those who find it uncomfortable. If I sound like the person you would like to live with, please message me. :)
Hello friends, I'm Hannah, 23, inherent geek who loves books and films. Moving to Melbourne from the Gold Coast for work and lifestyle. I'm an incredible clean and reliable person. Always down for spontaneous hangs but I relish having my own space. I have an indoor cat who causes absolutely no trouble and I prefer to live in a drug/smoke free environment. Happy to chat for anyone interested, Hannah
