Hi Guys, My name is Chloe, I'm 26 from London. I lived between Melbourne and Sydney for two years in 2013 - 2015 and have decided to come back for a years working holiday with the possibility of permanently relocating. I will be arriving on the 30th December (right in time for a good NYE party!) and am looking for a place to stay either in Melbourne CBD, Brunswick, Fitzroy, Richmond or Port Melbourne. I would consider other areas but they are my preference purely because I am familiar with those areas. My Partner from the UK will potentially be joining me around February time (not 100% confirmed yet) but for the first few months at least I will be riding solo, so am looking for a cool bunch of people to hang out with. Im a fairly private person at home as in I like to have my own double room and bathroom however I love having a housemate who is up for shared dinners and a glass of wine every now and again. I love cooking, cinema, meals out, yoga, travelling, a night out on the town occasionally and love love love weekend brunching. Ideally would like to live in a house with no more than 2 other house mates and the room needs to be furnished as I will be arriving straight from the U.K. with just my suitcases :) Please message me if you have a suitable room available or would like to buddy up
Hi my name is jimmy I’m 29 and work as a carpenter. I’m easy going guy very chill and like to live in a clean environment! I like to go out at weekends and stay quite in the week. I enjoy meals with friends and watching films. Not a 24/7 party guy, I like my own space but also enjoy company.
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a room near Hawthorn- flexible with length of stay/suburbs/move date). :) I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. ...and punctuality with rent/housekeeping, but I suppose that's a given. 😌 I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, music, games and outings such as live events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. If those things aren't really your cup of tea, i'm also open to new things and don't really drag people into my personal hobbies anyway. I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard, not a big spender. I also have an excellent rental history that I can provide references for upon request.)
I'm from Malaysia and will be starting my first year in Swinburne University next year (2018). I'm very open minded and I like making new friends. I love adventures so maybe we could chill and explore places occasionally. I'm tidy and will keep my room clean. I'll also respect your privacy but I would prefer if we could gather and chill occasionally. I'm looking for someone who can respect & click well with me and who can hopefully become a good friend in the future.
chill, respectful, great cook, love movies, relatively quiet, friendly, clean hi, my name is Samantha and i am a student moving from Perth to Melbourne next year to study at RMIT. i am moving to Melbourne on the 16th of January and will be looking at staying for about 6 months. if this works for you feel free to contact me. thanks.
I'm a 29 yo veterinarian and I've just recently moved back to Australia after travelling around the world for 2.5 years. I'm looking for a place to call home! I'm laid back and I am generally considered very clean and tidy. I have one very friendly 7 yo collie X called Deni who is predominantly an outdoor dog (good behaviour guaranteed by a vet!). My long list of hobbies include: photography, painting, sketching, yoga, krav maga, welding, woodworking, cooking and trying to learn Spanish. If you think we'd make amazing housemates or want to teamup, please get in touch!
Hi I'm Nutnaree, an international student from Thailand. I'm currently studying master's degree(full-time) at University of Melbourne. Aside from studying, I like watching movies, TV shows, also love cafe hopping. I'm very respectful, peaceful and enjoy socialising. Occasionally, I am keen to catch up with my potential housemate over a glass of wine (or beer) and show my cooking skill :D I'm both cat and dog person. So a house with cats and dogs is very welcome.
My friend and I have just arrived back from travelling overseas and looking to move to around richmond/hawthorn/abbotsford. We are looking to move into a 3 or 4 bedroom house or apartment with one or two others and looking to move ASAP! We are both full time working professionals that are social but respect others privacy. Happy to pay $250 each a week
Hi, there! We're a couple from Shanghai and now having our working holiday in AU. We're very easy-going, open minded and friendly. We have been living in Perth for 5 months, working in hospitality industry and started our trip from October, spending 2 months to travel around WA, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns. We really love traveling, photography, cooking and making friends all over the world! And our last destination will be Melbourne. So now we are seeking a place to live until April, 2018 for almost 4-5 months. Renee has been working as a UI/UX designer for 5 years and Thomas was a human resource in Shanghai. We want to find a professional job after settling down in the new city! If you want us to be your new flatmates, don’t hesitate to contact us! Renee and Thomas
I’m friendly, happy and a peoples person. I work in the cbd for 5 of the same companies and require regular contact with people and other duties which help me to be a great roomate/housemate. I enjoy quiet time to myself and I’m always on my feet in and out from work and other activities to keep me entertained. I’ve just turned 18 on the 11/11 but have lived here since Easter as I moved from Tasmania If anything sparks your interest please contact me anytime!
Currently studying and working and love being sociable with my flatmates but of course respect their alone time as I like a bit of it myself. I love cooking and have been deprived of a decent oven at my last residence and would love to be able to finally return to my full cooking potential. I absolutely love dogs, a Harry Potter nerd and the love beach as I grew up in a seaside town in Queensland. I'm a moderate gym goer but far from a junkie and love exploring quirky cafes. I like to keep a relatively clean house and like doing my dishes.
Hey Guys, Its pretty important to me I can set up shop with some rad fellas/gals and hopefully around the listed areas, but open to suggestions. Migrating from Brisbane 4+ years ago I am currently working as a PM/Estimator (Mon-Fri) while looking to further myself within the electrical industry and I consider myself to be a pretty chilled out guy and get along with everyone, big pet lover, Rugby fella with the addition of occasional sporadic furniture making. I come complete list of friday afternoon drinks and my complied best beer and burger combos in Melbourne (subjectively opinionated) Scored pretty well in my house training traineeship so you can expect all the good stuff of a quality housemate and I have lived in all girl houses previously so when you need something squashed, moved or someone to anwser the door my hand will go straight up. I'm always down for a hang or a cheeky pint and will often grab my camera and go on an adventure until I get lost But eventually find myself back home with a good story! I'd love to hear about you if you think I might be a good fit otherwise good luck with the hunt! :)
Sociable yet quiet, looking for a place to use as a base while I do some fruit packing work out in Coldstream. During the day I'll be working, and on weekends I'll likely be spending time with friends. Generally keep to myself when I'm at home, but happy to be a bit social with the house. I'm interested in music, philosophy, politics, reading, writing, dancing, etc etc Looking to move in ASAP (as soon as this weekend) but can hold off for a few days if a suitable place comes available a bit later).
Very easy going & looking for a chill home environment. Working professional, do like quiet times but also like to socialise and looking for a place to call home. Tidy and responsible as I've housesat for many years caring for peoples homes and pets. Originally from Brisbane, now call Melbourne home
Hi! I am an international student studying at Uni of Melb for master degree started in July. If I don't have class, I usually spend time studying. I'm very respectful, considerate, open minded, clean but certainly not an OCD. I love cooking Thai food (and happy to share!), so I hope you don't mind the smell. Occasionally, I am keen to catch up with my potential housemate over a glass of wine and binge on Netflix. I am a cat and dog lover, so I'm more than welcome if you have one. *interested to team up and find our lovely place *ideally looking to move in with other one person
Hi I'm Adelaide :) I'm under application for a couple of 2 bedroom apartments in Brunswick near Sydney Road and so I’m looking for a housemate to join me in my new home. Price range is 195-225 each per week without bills. I work full time in the city so I’m looking for someone with a similar lifestyle - basically I want somewhere calm on weeknights so I’m not sleep deprived at work. I have all the furniture we need for the communal rooms (fridge, couch, table, washing machine, dryer, tv, indoor plants which in my mind are essential) so you’d only have to worry about bedroom stuff! I’m always happy to have a chat over a wine/beer/tea but I know when to let people have their space too :) if you think we would be a good fit as housemates send me a message and I’ll give you some more details on my applications :)
