Hello! We're Stacey (26) and Roisin (23) from Scotland and are just about to finish our 3rd month backpacking in South East Asia. Looking to flatshare in Melbourne from the end of January (27th) to the end of May / beginning of June with likeminded people, as we complete our years working holiday visa in Oz. Roisin works in hospitality/nutrition and I work in TV/Media. We're fun, friendly, respectful and tidy with a good sense of humour (I think)... We love to travel and explore new places. We like to swim, gym and although we love to get dressed up for a good night out, we also love to chill at home with netflix or have a good goss. Looking for a furnished flat/house either with our own rooms or share one with wifi access and hoping to pay roughly between $500-$700 pcm each ($135-$200 pw each). If anyone wants to team up or has 1 or 2 furnished spare rooms please give us a shout! Thanks!
26 YO 19/04/1990 I grew up in Perth WA (WaitAwait) Australia Have friends in Melbs already. but looking for a cheap start to my integration to the city. I have recently returned from a three month holiday in the US, visiting old college friends from my time spent studying a business bachelor and playing college baseball (2008-2012.) The holiday was the trip I needed for inspiration to begin a new path in life at 26. I am a very grounded individual, perhaps with no spectacular specific skills but I believe I posses an attitude and vibe that can integrate into any environment. I am currently open minded to all offers who wish to discuss their home sharing situation and see if are able to work together. I still play baseball but at an amateur level and may take a year off while i settle into Melbourne and work on my knew passion, Music production and writing music. ( I can do my work with head phone when required :) haha) I also have a currently 7 Month old Husky (MegMac) she will just 1 YO by the time i am ready to move into melbs. She is extremely placid and well trained as an out side dog from her birth. She is still a shy puppy so I'm guessing she will be a little shy to start with a move to big city. Kind regards Adam, Adam or G

I can take the dog out for a walk and feed the cat all the time :) no problem for me, actually it would be pleasure for me ^^ I am friendly, outgoing, open-minded, cheerful. I like partying (outside of course) , movie nights, watching tv series, grabbing a glass of wine or beer sometimes..Not a 24 hours party animal but I like meeting with new people, chatting, sharing thoughts, funny stories.. I do respect other's life and spaces. I'm mostly watching Tv series or do my homework when I'm home but if you call me for PS,movie, chatting, dinner, beer I'm always in ^^ My English school starts at 8am-12.25pm, Mon-Fri. LOOKING IN CARLTON, RICHMOND and FITZROY Hello, my name is Anastasia and I am a business student at RMIT. I enjoy meeting new people, wine and good food. I'm originally Russian, but was raised in Thailand since childhood and enjoy the warm weather and spending time outdoors. Most of the time I'm studying, working or meeting up with friends in the city, so I don't spend most of my time home. As a flatmate, I am very clean and neat, I don't throw house parties or anything crazy - however enjoy to have a bbq or chat over dinner with fellow housemates. I am very down to earth, multicultural and easy going. I've been in Australia for over a year now, ideally I am looking to move at the start of FEBUARY :) Thank you, if you have any questions just PM..:)
I am easygoing and friendly, relatively clean and trying to live a healthier life. I am a phd student at the University of Melbourne and I am looking for a place to stay from the middle of February. I am a little reserved until I get comfortable with people and I like to laugh and learn! I am Nigerian, female, been in Melbourne since 2015 and I would like the idea of a place to call home with flatmates who are more like friends or family.
Two English friends looking for 2 separate rooms, on a working holiday visa! Both very friendly and chatty enjoy relaxing in the week and socialising over a glass of wine on the weekend :) I am looking to stay for a year but a minimum stay is needed for my friend as she is only here for another 2 months! Will both be working full time! Looking to settle into a place we can call home with other like minded girls!

My name is Ana and I am a student moving from the Gold Coast, planning to study at RMIT. I enjoy reading, binge watching TV shows, cooking and I realise how unoriginal that is. Would love to be friends with the people I am living with. I have a talent for telling general stories in a funny way and don't know the city that well so will probably ask you for directions and things to do on the weekend.
Hello, everyone, I'm looking for a place to stay for 6 months to 12 months lease. Recently I just graduated from Melbourne University majoring in marketing and management so at the moment I'm just applying for visa and jobs. My name is Maudy and I'm currently working part-time before the semester starts, I'm pretty chill and friendly. If you're interested in having me as your roommate please contact me through my email. Looking forward hear from you soon ;)
I am Zarli and my partners name is Rory. We are both turning 20 this year and are from country victoria wanting to move to the northern suburbs of Melbourne. I will be studying nursing at ACU and my boyfriend will be working full-time. We both have savings behind us so paying rent on time etc will never be an issue. We are both reliable, considerate, honest, and aware of the needs of others. We love to chat and share a meal from time-to-time but are also introverted and enjoy our alone time. Would love the chance to get to know you better and what you are looking for in a housemate! Cheers!
Two 26 year old British creative designers just landed to live and work full time in Melbourne. Looking for two separate rooms in a share house or renting a whole two bedroom property. We share similar interests: photography, creating short films, healthy lifestyle, entrepreneurship, gym, yoga, philosophy, vegetarian, creating electronic music (with headphones don't worry), travel, graphic design and generally always keen to have a few beers and discuss how wildly novel it is to be alive and exploring this planet. So, drop me a message to discuss.
I'm looking for a room in a share house as I'm commencing uni at deakin this year and would like to be closer than where I currently live. I'm an open and friendly person and enjoy good conversations. I also have a part-time job and am a dancer too. I keep things neat and tidy and am always happy to pitch in and do household chores!
I am starting full time work as a judge's associate in early February 2017. I like travel, cooking (still learning), cycling, reading and boardgames - especially with a cold beer. Work keeps me pretty busy, but I'm always up for a chat and doing things. My budget is approximately $200 per week plus bills. While I currently live at home, I am house trained having lived in a share house while on exchange in the UK. I'm looking to join a social and friendly household that appreciates the fact that life is (unfortunately) not just a party.
I'm Indonesian. I work as a part time waiter, which means we're covered for dinner most of the time. I'm clean and neat. I always clean up after myself. likes the occasional beer. not a party animal. heads up, i sing most of the time. and i play basketball. looking for a furnished apartment. but willing to contribute to add more furniture
I'm well independent. Very clean, tidy and a great company for chats, dining and drinks. Love trying out new restaurants and cafes a bit of a foodie - definitely that type who would instagram my food plus I do love food photography and I'm hoping to make a career out of it. I'm a barista and photographer by trade. Can make you a cup of coffee or an espresso martini anytime, any day. I'm doing personal growth thing and have decided to move to Melbourne from the Gold Coast. I have visited Melbourne a handful of times and I fell in love with the city. I'm looking for a room with preferable my own bathroom and a secure carpark. I have some furniture and a coffee machine that I'll be bringing with me. Ideal flat mates would be sociable people but respects privacy as well. We can chat and party if need be or watch Netflix docu or chick fliks cause we can. I'll be focusing on my health and career once I move to Melbourne so it would be nice to settle in a cool place with you all.
I have lived in share houses and alone. I'm clean, responsible and respectful. My cat is 12 years old and fully house trained. I have a cat door insert which goes into any sliding door if needed. My cat prefers to be alone but other pets wouldn't be an issue. I'm moving to Melbourne to study music full time from Canberra and need a place thats close to the city or public transport.
I'm a 33 year old masters student at RMIT, working part time at Melbourne Uni Asia Institute. I also teach tai chi, when i have students, I am getting into boxing this year. I like cycling and bushwalking, and I am torn between hardcore and post-hardcore punk. I like John Banville and I can play the piano. When it's my turn to clean, I clean like a pro. Non-smoker, meat eater, social drinker. I have conversational-level Japanese; I used to work there. I am basically a damn chill flatmate.
I am a bubbly, personable, fun loving lady who likes to have a laugh. I have a full time job in hospitality which means I am not at home during standard working hours. I am clean and tidy and enjoy socialising as well as my own quiet time.
Hi! I'm Grace, I'm a 22 year old graphic designer currently working full time. I'm also a comic illustrator and I have a tiny cat daughter called Bruce (props if you can guess who she's named after). She's clean, chilled out, loves a cuddle and has an innate ability to fall asleep on any surface. I am looking for a place in the inner northern suburbs (Fitzroy, Parkville, Collingwood, Abbottsford, Carlton, Brunswick, Northcote) that isn't any further out as I do need to get public transport to the eastern suburbs for work. I also need a place that allows pets and has a private room. I'm pretty busy and spend most of my free time working on my art, being a huge dork (Star Wars and Game of Thrones mainly) or going to gigs. I love the occasional beer with housemates when we're both home. I don't eat meat or smoke (but don't mind if you do) and I clean up after myself but am not the kind of person to leave a passive aggressive note if there's toast crumbs on the kitchen bench. Also LGBTQIA+ friendly and a big fan of intersectional feminism/not being a dickhead. If you reckon we'd be a good fit please shoot me a message! Cheers
Very easy going, reliable and clean. Going back to study full time, part time job on the side. Ideally seeking others who are interested in teaming up for a new share house as I have had nightmares moving into rooms in existing share-houses in regards to outstanding bills upon moving in, bond transfers... etc. Would prefer a fresh start, with the lease and bills in everyones name. However would consider moving into an unfurnished room in an existing house given that everything is sorted out properly and the existing housemates are the right fit. Move in date on or just before the 18th of march when my current lease expires. Flexible with stay length but would ideally like a minimum of one year so things are nice and settled. Send me a message if you are interested in teaming up or have something that you reckon would be suitable.
Hi, I'm Shannen, 21, and work as a nanny in Clifton Hill. I love a good tv series and spend my weekends socialising, having a drink or with family. I'm tidy, respectful and can cook simple meals, woo. Am always up for a chat/drink/Netflix but also happy to keep to myself. I have a playful Staffordshire Bull Terrior who loves people, is toilet trained and doesn't chew or dig. She spends her days outside ( need fenced backyard) and only comes inside when I'm home. But seriously, who doesn't love dogs?
My name is Sophie, 25, from the UK. Looking for accommodation in Melbourne. I'm a happy, very tidy, clean respectful, reliable individual. I'm very easy to get along with and have a chat with and would make a great house mate :)!.
We are Kirstin and Eric and are both from London, United Kingdom. We are both 27 years old and looking for a room in a shared house in Melbourne. We are new to the area and looking for a place that feels homely. We are searching for a double bedroom anywhere in Melbourne which is preferably fully or part-furnished and we are available to move in as soon as possible. We are a clean, tidy and friendly couple with references from previous landlords. I work in social care, Eric is a warehouse manager and we've lived in shared houses before. Thank you for reading this and please contact us if you have any questions. Kirstin & Eric
Really easy going guy who likes quiet nights during the week but my arm is twisted pretty easily of a weekend. Especially on a Friday night after work or Saturday/Sunday afternoon. If I do go out I never bring the party home. Quite tidy around the house, am sports mad and love to travel. Usually try and spend 6-8 weeks in Europe mid year. Cheers!
Im from Chile and I just arrived to Melbourne, looking for new housemates and new experiences. I've share a house with 2 people and it was very easy. Im tiddy, responsible and hardworker.
Hi legends, I'm moving back to Melbourne after a few years in Sydney. Have lived in share accommodation for a while and it's been a mix of couples, guys, girls and aged between 20-38 y/o. So I have a great understanding of what it takes to make a share house work :). So, me, I'm single straight male aged 37 and I'm moving back to Melbourne to start working on a big dream of mine (my current job is a 60+ hour week and doesn't allow me the time to work on it). I'm a bit of a health-nut, but also enjoy a vino on the couch with the housemates, and the odd catch up at the pub. I'm easy going and happy to have a chat about anything, but realise the need for personal space too. I keep a clean house and happy to get in the kitchen. I currently have most household things: fridge, washing machine, large u-shaped couch, appliances, etc. But am planning to sell before I move back (so let me know if you want me to keep anything).
Hi I'm Caitlin! I'm a working professional looking for a friendly and relaxed place to live. I like to keep things tidy and would treat the house as a home. I love having a bit of a chat over coffee or wine after work but sometimes do just want some alone time to chill and recharge. I can be quite a sporty person and do a couple of social sports during the week. I also come fully equip with a Netflix account which I would be happy to share. I'm heading to Japan for a holiday mid Feb and am looking for somewhere I can move into after I get back early March. Feel free to get in touch and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!
I am 26 yo, male, Indonesian and I enjoy music, photography and sports during my leisure time. I am going to move to Melbourne by February for my postgraduate study in the Melbourne University. So i am looking for a property around the campus. Kindly do let me know if you have an available property around. Many thanks in advance!
Hi! My name's Henry, I'm 19, and I'm moving down from Canberra to study Linguistics at Uni of Melb. I'm a creative person, I love making clothes, art, and movies. I am pretty tidy but I'm not too fussed about it. I like to party, but I feel just as much in my element drinking tea and doing craft with friends.
My name's Blake, I'm a 20 year old student currently studying the Art side of Video Games at an institution called AIE which is in the World Trade Centre near Southern Cross Station. I'm studying full-time and will be at University from 9 AM - 5 PM on weekdays. I have furnishings to fill my own room as well as potentially extra things for the lounge room / common area. I've been living in Melbourne for the past two years, I'm originally from East Gippsland about four hours out of Melbourne so I'm used to living with other people and I am as tidy and considerate as possible. I'm currently struggling with the horrid place known as Centrelink but I also have parental guarantee for rent and what not so I'll be able to pay everything on time.
Hello! I'll be starting school in July and i'm really new to the city (I was 12 the last time I've been to Melbourne). I'm really excited to experience college life and hope to find great flatmates to do so with! A little more about me: I'm really into tech and startups. Started my first startup when i was 18. I'm pretty clean and tidy - been in the army for the past 2 years. I love to party. I exercise rather often. We could go for runs or play soccer/badminton together! I like to cook - probably should and have to do that more often now. Thanks for reading this and soon you soon (maybe)!
Hey Team, I'm living the search to find a place to call home, recently coming back to Melbourne from working out on the big white Mountain of Mt Hotham. I'm 20 years old. Currently training to be Bar manager in St Kilda, love humans and creating good Memories. I also enjoy down time, I feel we all need a little rest time to time. Literally. If you made it this far down, Thank you for reading. Dan
Helloo, We are a young couple moving from a small beach town near Byron Bay to Melbourne in February. We have just had a year off doing full time work, and travelling Europe together for 4 months. We are laid back, friendly, independent and clean. We love cooking for ourselves and others, having a drink, relaxing with some nice tunes, and taking our 2 year old Boxer dog out. We both have artistic hobbies, that usually take up a lot of our free time, but we also love gathering with friends and having a fun night out (or in). Zeus is our 2 year old Boxer Dog. We absolutely love him and couldn't imagine living without him. He is well trained, loving, and extremely entertaining. Zeus will need a yard, although we are not all that worried on the size, as we take him out everyday. We will be super excited to hear from anyone who is also looking for a pet friendly abode. Our budget is around $350 for the 2 of us.

I'm an 18 year old ex student (soon to be 19) looking to move to Melbourne (from the northern rivers) to work for a year, make friends and generally enjoy life before I start Uni in 2018. I'm a very clean person and very easy to get along with, I respect personal space but wouldn't mind the occasional outing and drink with my roommates! Mostly looking for females of similar age to live with, however a few years difference here or there wouldn't really bother me. :)
I'm a 19 year old female student who has been living out of home for 2 years now. I work part time in retail and am about to start my third year of a psychology degree at RMIT university. I'm pretty artistic and love music, good food and am always up for a chat and a laugh. Simply looking for a change of scenery and some new faces!
Hi, I'm Kaylar! I'm 21 and my current lease is up 1st of March. I work full time for a finance company as a training mortgage broker and lending administrator. When we meet you can get a feel of who i am but ill try my best to get it down in writing. I am a happy and friendly person and enjoy company as much as my time alone. When i am home you will find me either reading or watching trashy Netflix shows. I love going out and trying new bars and cafe's, somebody who loves brunch and a couple of bevs will get along great with me. I also enjoy music, especially Hiphop but I do love most genres. I also enjoy reading , playing video & PC games and watching movies. I've always been interested in all sorts of philosophy and poetry, so if you ever feel like engaging in a discussion then don't be hesitant to contact me! I'm Elli from Finland and I'm travelling with my friend Niina (also from Finland). We are looking for an accommodation together. We are looking for a room from somewhere near the city (Brunswick, Fitzroy, Richmond etc.). But also happy to hear from places from other suburbs. We are planning to share a room together or to live in a dorm. Currently I'm working in a cafe full time and Niina is applying jobs. We are two life loving and easygoing girls in our 20's (Elli 21, Niina 21) and we are happy to take care of the house hold. We both speak fluent English . While working and travelling, Elli is going to start her studies soon. Even though our schedule might get busy we love going out (doesn't always mean partying) and meeting new people. Also we both are very keen about sports and other outdoor activities.
