I am 26 years old, I am from Chile and I have just arrived to Melbourne with a work and holiday visa, and I hope to stay here for at least 6 months. I am a sociable, respectful and clean person. I like going out with my friends, sharing drinks, watching movies, reading and hiking.
Heya! I'm a sandgroper who has relocated a few months back. I entered into a short term lease and am now looking to move to a different area. I'm really into music and used to make it. I like going to gigs, yoga, cycling everywhere, cooking from scratch, appreciating good wine and beers, growing edibles and vermiculture. I'm left leaning (surprising given the above, I know), cynical, optimistic, positive, happy, can make you laugh and love ppl. I'm props an ambivert. I am looking for a home rather than a house. Some of my best mates have been housemates. My lease is up in mid December but I could move earlier for the right housemates/place. I work in legal stuff but am working in a restaurant while I find the right gig. I need a place with a bit of storage space like a shed but if not that's ok I can pay for storage. Just need to collect stuff for a bar I want to open in a year or so. But I don't have many possessions! If you have an inkling it could work out, get in touch! :)
Hey guys! I'm an easy going 28 year old guy, love sports, video games, a good chat and a beer. Love food, getting out and about but also love a good lazy Sunday. Also like to keep a clean and presentable house. Im currently living in an apartment by myself so looking to share to save some money! Work in a bank so happy to give any information / help if someone wants it as well haha. Hit me up if you wanna meet for a coffee and see if we get along! Cheers.
Melbourne girl born and bred with Scottish heritage makes me; social, cultured and hilarious. I have lived in many different house share arrangements both here and abroad and I believe I am extremely easy going, respectful and tidy. I am wanting somewhere to call HOME. Not just somewhere to crash. I would prefer to live with people with the same notion, mutual respect for each other and our belongings and creating a positive, friendly place to call home. I am a non murderer, YES voter, lover of old/punk/indie music, slight obsession with Elvis Presley, collecting kitsch, records and plants. I am a vegetarian but don't care if you like to eat meat. I do like spending time at home, but my weeks are pretty busy with dinners with pals, playing soccer and teaching puppy school. I don't want a crazy party house, but I would never rule out a party every once in a while. I spend most of my time covered in animal hair being a vet nurse and laughing at myself and my naff attempts at life. I come in a package with Elvis, my 5 year old Burmese cat. Elvis spends his time mostly outdoors sleeping and then indoors at night for warming laps, kneading blankets and being a hot water bottle. He is a very affectionate cat, who does demand attention so you must at least "like" cats. However, with Elvis's nature that "like" will quickly be turned into love. Seriously his name isn't The King for nothing. Due to having this guy, I need residence in a quietish area, no busy roads and with at least a wee courtyard/garden area. This will dually be used for all my plants and to have beers with you in the sunshine!
Hi! I'm Maddy, a 24-year old American girl here for a year on a working holiday visa. I'm outgoing and looking to make new friends to hang with, but also very respectful of apartment-mates (clean, quiet, will contribute to chores). I love to chill out at home with a glass of wine and a film, but also enjoy going out to socialize. Picnics in the park, hiking, catching some live music, and brunching are a few of my favorite things. Looking for a commitment of about 3 months, but can be flexible!
Hey there! I'm a South Afican girl on a working holiday visa in Melbs. I hope to be a crazy old cat lady when I grow up and my hobbies include cooking and eating yummy food. I'm currently working as a casual in a bar in the city and am looking for somewhere closeby to plot world domination and sleep for the next few months. I am house trained and know how to give people their space and am always down for a drink. I'm hoping to find a room in a houseshare that's clean with good access to night public transport. I pay my rent on time and can provide you with a reference from my previous landlord. Please let me know if you have a place that would be a good fit for me. All the best Martine
I am French-Australian (I landed in Oz in 1997) fun & respectful, clean & tidy housemate currently looking for a new home. Basically, I am well house trained and easy going. I have been living in a beloved home in East Brunswick for the last 3 years, but unfortunately for us, our landlord is planning some substantial renovations so we have to move out in November. I am most definitely looking for a long term home... I have studied Fine Arts mastering in painting both in Paris and in Sydney and love a nice cook up and tasty wines. I enjoy obscure movies and time out on the beach. I also perform regularly around town as a musician (music studio in Flemington/Kensington) and occasionally work as site crew on music festivals around Australia. I recently got my forklift licence and also drive a ute, makes me feel more Aussie haha I am currently working two part-time jobs: Wine Republic (delicious wines, fine liquors and craft beers retail store) and Little Hop (Tacos and Margaritas anyone?) both in Fitzroy. I am very reliable at paying rent and bills on time. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Adrien
We are Jake and Hattie and we love to experience a city in its entirety. Jake is a fantastic cook and his profession is barman so makes some excellent drinks too. Hattie loves to clean and likes to make things like candles and paper crafts. We both love pets and if you have one it would definitely help to ease the home sickness. We are looking at getting a job as soon as we arrive in Australia. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. We have both lived in Shared Accommodation before.
I'm into music, have just started DJing (mixing isn't the best yet), like my alone time but will also wanna have a chat and hang out with whoever I'm living with. I work in an office and usually go out on the weekends to gigs, bars etc. Very friendly and clean and always consider others.
Howdy, we're sisters who have two gorgeous little cats (Hugo and Elton). We'd like to move in with either one person or a couple to a 3-4 bedroom house. Basically, we've been living in an apartment and wouldn't mind some more space. I am a musician and would ideally need somewhere to practice and teach. Nearby public transport that is under 30 minutes to CBD is ideal. We come with a record player, an excellent washing machine, and laid back personalities (did I mention we grew up in the country?!) We both survive on a mostly vegetarian diet. We're quite different from each other but get along brilliantly... so hit us up! :)
I am a generally quiet person who enjoys a night in watching TV with a cup of tea. I am very neat and am good at keeping my stuff confined to a small area. Although I am generally quiet I love to have a good chat with people about almost anything. I love books, movies, Netflix and cats (although I don't own a cat at the moment). I am currently studying a Bachelor of Communication Design full time at Swinburne University. I am very independent and low maintenance and also quite easy to get along with.
Hey I'm Steph, I work in retail. I'm pretty chill, enjoy a drink and chinwag. I like my housemates to be my mates so we can go do things together every now and then. I'm a bit nerdy, Iike a good Netflix binge. I'm social but respectful, I enjoy being around considerate, mature people who are happy to socialise. If you have any questions, fire away. Cheers, Steph
Hey there! I'm from middle of nowhere Inverloch in South Gippsland, and have always lived on the coast. I'm looking for somewhere to live during my first year of University at Monash Caulfield. I need somewhere walking distance to public transport as I cannot drive (which on one note means I won't need space to park). I'll be studying Fine Arts and have a huge interest in the Arts, history and a bunch of other things. I'm vegetarian (but don't mind being around meat and whatnot) and can make a pretty good green curry if you're into that, I also tend to overestimate how much food/smoothie i'm gonna need so I'll probably offer you food pretty regularly. I like pretty much all kinds of music and am always ready to dance, but am also pretty quiet and spend a lot of time in my room in silence so if you're needing quiet to study I'm good in terms of that. I can tell you useless facts about things you didn't need and teach you how to kick butt (i'm only a red belt in Taekwondo but I still like to pretend i'm badass). I love British comedy, David Bowie, bad puns, art galleries and the colour yellow. I also don't smoke or have any pets, but don't mind being around those who do smoke, and adore pets! I'm currently working in an ice cream shop part-time and will likely be working part time for the duration of my stay.

I am a student at University of Melbourne, in my first semester of Masters and studying International Relations. I work at Coles and usually have shifts 3-4 days. I love to cook and feed people! That’s where my passion lies. I am a clean freak and can’t stand dust. Otherwise, easy going and quite like my space and like to give space to people around

We are travelling to Melbourne on working holiday visas. Really looking forward to seeing Australia and meeting interesting people. We are open minded, easy going people looking to have a good time and meet new people. Amelia's interests include music, wildlife, baking, health and fitness. John is a great cook, also has a big interest in music as well as reading, history and culture. We both enjoy casual drinks as well as relaxed nights in.
Hey My name is Joseph I'm 27 and sell sneakers in the city for a living Photography, Soccer, cooking, electronic music, art, dancing are my passions! Am social and would like a place to call home Cheers!
I'm friendly, easygoing and very clean and tidy. Looking for a sociable house but a quiet Netflix-night-in is great too!
I moved to Melbourne one and a half years ago now, and work as a junior doctor in the city. VERY pleased to report I am moving onto an 8-5 contract for the next three months- back to normality for a little while!! I love to grab an after work drink every now an again, and enjoy being outside whenever possible - running, biking, exploring... or just sat outside a coffee shop having a natter. I like to live in a house that feels like a home, is clean and vibrant and full of people who I look forward to seeing after a hard days work.
My name is Sofie and I'm 27 years old from Adelaide. I've lived in Melbourne for the past three years and absolutely love it, but find myself needing new accommodation. I work full time (9-5) in community outreach and education in the CBD (which I love), and study full time after hours, so I'm pretty busy most of the time. I also work as a freelance live music photographer, usually on weekends. My general interests are live music, digital art, travel (cliche I know), and trying to learn to be a better cook. I'm pretty quiet and reserved, but by no means antisocial. I enjoy having a chat or dinner with housemates from time-to-time, but value my privacy, and the privacy and boundaries of others. I'm very tidy and respectful of shared spaces. I have a preference for the north, but would also be open to the inner west or east. Must move in by the 18th of November. Happy to answer any questions anybody may have :)
