Hi! I’m a 25 year old female from the US looking for a rental for June and July (could start as early as mid May). I’m clean, chill, like to socialize but also happy doing my own thing. I’m finishing up a backpacking trip/sabbatical with a class in CBD and will be in class 9-5 weekdays, and plan on exploring Melbourne and Australia as much as I can after class and on weekends! I love a good glass of wine, live music, anything outdoors, art, dogs, and some good conversations about life and current events (preferably over wine). Open to any neighborhoods since I’m not familiar with Melbourne as long as they’re safe, easily accessible to CBD, and preferably has some good happy hour spots. Let me know if you have any questions or wanna chat more!
Hi there, I'm a french man coming to live in Australia. My girlfriend is from Melbourne which is the main reason of my presence here :) but I'm looking for a flat for myself only. Being under the working holiday visa status I'll be looking for a temporary consulting mission until I can get a permanent residency. I've lived in shared flat for 7 years in different countries with people from all around the world. I can speak fluent French, Spanish and English. I've always enjoyed sharing moment with my flatmates: have dinner, drinks, go out at night, have a chill Sunday run to get the body back on track for Monday morning or even reggaeton flat cleaning sessions. I'm always ready for a good laugh, I love cooking heartwarming dishes and decorate the house with funky stuff! I'll be available from the 24th of April to come and see the flat. Cheers, Antoine
Hi, I'm Miriam I'm a friendly and reliable type of person interested in finding a housemate to live with. I have a good sense of humour and like to chat about the day over a glass of wine and watch movies, but also enjoy time on my own and am respectful of peoples' space. I like to cook, do crafty things, go to dance classes and visit interesting places around Victoria. I'm a bit of a sci-fi nerd, enjoy reading, music and going to art galleries and the theatre. Love animals but am allergic to cats :-( Looking for a friendly and relaxed housemate who will be happy share chores, flat responsibilities and requests from managing real estate agents, keeps similar 9-5 work hours, and have a nice chat from time to time. Good communication is important too :-)
Hey everybody, I'm Brad and I'm a Kiwi looking for a new flat in Melbourne. I currently work as software support in Glen Waverley and looking for a place either close to work or to the city. I'm a quiet house mate that keeps mostly to myself but I'm always up to hang out or chat about anything (from work to world events).
Hey y'all. 24. Graduate engineer. I keep my head down during the week, but generally am a chatty fella who loves to get amongst it on weekends. If you're looking to fill a room or want to team-up, shoot me a message! Keen to arrange a meeting asap. If you're one of those that keep their tomato sauce in the fridge, don't bother. Ta.
Hey! I've just moved here from England and I'm looking for a place to live in Melbourne. I'm easy going and laid back, and keep my stuff tidy. I'm always happy out with flatmates, however I won't be offended if you prefer to keep to yourself.
Hey! My name is Romy. I'm 26 and from Sydney. I am looking to have accommodation secured by the time I arrive in Melbourne so unfortunately I won't be able to attend inspections. I arrive on the 2nd of May. I am happy to make payment to secure the room. I will be happy to stay at 4,5,6 + months if offered. I will be studying mathematics and science to get me ready to continue my degree next year. I will prefer something in the CBD or near a beach but I'm okay to take a 40-50 hour train ride to the city at most. Something longer than that is not ideal. I have a 3 year old Maltese Poodle called Ollie who will need to move in with me. He cannot be an outside dog. He has lived in an apartment since he was born. I like to keep to myself but also friendly. I will mostly be out exploring Melbourne with Ollie (my first time in Melbourne) and when I'm not out will probably be in my room resting or studying. I will also be looking for work in my first 2 weeks, but payment is no problem. My interest include music, movies, concerts, nature, animals, Netflix, documentaries, photography and travel (just to mention a few). I would say I'm pretty open minded too. I prefer a room with tiles or wooden floor but okay with carpet. I will also need internet. Thank you :)
When I'm not at work, I'm either at pilates or F45, having brunch/dinner or having a wine with some friends. Although I'm a real homebody, I love going out for dinner and or catch up with some mates on the weekend. I'd love to find a housemate/housemates. I love traveling so I'm away some weekends or for a few weeks at a time throughout the year. I'm currently working full-time in healthcare in administration. I am looking for someone who is tidy and doesn't mind cleaning but I'm also not OCD.
Hi there prospective flatmate! I’m James, a 24 year old Melbourne local doing the 9-5 in the Victorian State Government. I’m looking for 1-3 people to set up a new flat/house share in the inner north. I’d like to live very close to the city, either in Carlton/Fitzroy/Collingwood, in that order of preference. I’m looking to spend 250 - 300 per week. A few practical things: I have enough very nice furniture to furnish the kitchen & living area, so would be looking for someone without much furniture. I have a car! So I will need to take up a secured car parking spot. About me: In my spare time I like to cook, bar hop with friends, do yoga, train jiu-jitsu, read, and listen to podcasts. I’m very clean, honest, and big on open communication. I prefer a friendly social house, where we share some wine and talk about our days. But, I know how to respect people’s boundaries, and will make sure to give you enough privacy. I’m passionate about social justice and progressivism, so I’m not interested in sharing with anyone who’s not respectful of women, LGBTIQ people, marginalised groups etc. I’m ready to move anytime from 7th May onwards. So let’s meet up and have a look at some places!
I’m 27 from the uk. This is my fourth year in Melbourne. Soccer player and personal trainer so like to keep myself fit. Enjoy socialising, catching up with friends over coffee, finding a good bar to have a few drinks, going for walks. Laidback person looking to find a place I can call home and new housemates to call friends
Hi Im 33,M,staying for a min 3-6 months I prefer no smoking in room/house premises, not after a late night party house.Yet gathering of close mates with few drinks should not an issue. If you have place with similar settings, pls let me know. Cheers! M
I'm a private, but really nice, genuine guy who pays bills on time, am mostly flexible with things and easy to get along with. I'm open to anyone to live with as long as they are accepting and are clean and not noisy. :)
Hey! We're two psychology students from Norway who are going to study at University of Melbourne for one semester (from July to November). We've been friends since we started studying at University of Bergen in 2014. Vivian is very tidy and clean, and Anders is also tidy and clean most of the time hehe :) We're both very sociable, caring and love having fun. Of course, we're also serious students. Occasionally... It's kind of difficult to tell you what we like to do, because we're both interested in culture, news, politics, technology and so on. We're just really adaptable, and willing to try new things. We're the kind that can stay home an evening to watch movies, go on a full night party or even a hiking trip. The keyword is "variety"! We're not going to be in Melbourne until the start of July, but would love to move in to the flat as soon as possible. We would love an apartment with two bedrooms for ourselves, but we don't mind sharing flats with other likeminded people either! The most important part is that the flat is at a convenient distance from the university, is clean and tidy and at a convenient price! We're willing to pay around 400$ pw each of us. Feel free to contact us if you want to know more about us! Best regards, Anders and Vivian
Hey all, my name is Gazain im 22 years old from Dubai. I've lived in Melbourne for about 3 years and just graduated, so will be job hunting for the moment. I love hip hop so expect me to be blasting it through my headphones on most days. I like to gym as often as i can during my spare time so (expect a lot of meal prepping!).I like to cook and indulge on the weekendsn; and amm very LGBT+ friendly and am an occasional smoker looking to quit in the next month or so. I'm also very drug and alcohol friendly (no judgements here) Im looking forward to hearing your story and sharing a home, please contact me if i seem like the right fit!
Hi there! My cousin and I are both independent adults where we both share the same opinion about optimism and positivism. We want to achieve both our goals in life in a positive way and we empower and encourage everyone around us to be their own self and throw away all the negativity in life. We are both international students from the Philippines (you can expect goodies from back home or you can go with us for a vacation and visit the wonders & fun back home) and are both studying here for quite awhile, probably 2-3 years most. We're currently looking for jobs but you don't have to worry on how we pay rent (our parents kindly told us they'll pay for the few months while we are looking and searching for jobs). I can also assure that chores won't be a hassle as we also help participate in cleaning and all that jazz. We are pretty much flexible and let's work together to make our stay fun and positive all the way!! P.S. It would be nice too if its near a bus and train station since we both can't drive at the moment.
