I come from Austria/Europe, am a musician and a teacher. I am great to live with because I am a very tidy person and I am a great cook. I am going to spend an exchange semester at Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. I do not want to live alone while in Melbourne that´s why I am looking for a shared home. I would like to make music, taste great food, explore the city, meet new people and make the best of my time in Melbourne. I am a very open-minded person and like to spend time with people from different cultures (I guess because I am a musician), I often listen to music and I love to cook!! I already spent some time abroad (Sweden, Thailand) and am used to get along with people from different cultures and different styles of living. In my spare time I love to go for long walks in the park and enjoy the nature. If I could make a wish I would like to live in a modern and cosy appartment. (And I am a big fan of the magic of tyding up by marie kondo :) ) I would be happy to hear from you!
Hiya! I am a current undergrad doing a BA in Gender Studies and Psychology. I am someone who enjoys a bit of a chat, but also understands and respects privacy. Not much of a party person, but will enjoy a night out once a month, if that. I’m all about cooking and making yummy food. I have been living in a share house of 6 people for the past year and completely understand keeping communal spaces tidy, neat and clean.
Well hey! I'm looking for someone to team up with so we can find a nice little place to live. Rent isn't cheap so why not group up :) Looking at properties around 350-400 mark, town houses, newly renovated etc. Currently working in Moonee Ponds so looking around or within 15 or so mins from that area. You know, Glenroy, Essendon. Im pretty chilled, you'll probably just find me playing video games watching movies and TV most of the week. Sociable but appreciate space also. Weekends usually not home or just having a quiet drink around the house. Furnishings wise, I've got a bed and my essentials, but will be filling in the blanks once we are approved. Money is there for whatever we may need as it comes up. Oh and I also have a cat. She's 6, hopefully that doesn't complicate the situation! Who's ready for an adventure
We are an Italian couple, both in our mid 20s. We love meeting new people and I reckon we would make pretty good housemates as we're both very clean, tidy and respectful. We like to have our own space but we also love to have some good chats or share a good meal (I love cooking and baking). At the moment we’re staying in Toorak at some friends’ place but we’d like to find a more stable accomodation. We're planning to be in Melbourne for about 4 months. Let us know if you wish to meet up. Thank you, Dom&Sara
hey hey, im cass, 24 year old full time paralegal in the city. I drink beer, love documentaries and buy copious amounts of pretty plants. I'm never in a shit mood, great to talk too and will always make you laugh loads. hit me up
Hi, My name is Natalie and I am in my mid thirties. I am looking for a mid to long term and furnished (but can be flexible) room in the Northern suburbs of the CBD and within a 15 min walk to a train station. Ideally I would a like an inclusive of Rent & Utilities around the $300 mark. I am neat and tidy and will keep the place presentable, but I am not OCD or a fan of a strict cleaning routine. I am a 9-5 office worker and outside of work I hit up the gym most nights and/or be lazy and opt for wining and dining instead but less often than not. Weekends are generally running around doing stuff or just socialising. I understand people lead busy lives these days, but I would prefer someone and or people that like to have a chit chat with their fellow flatmate/s on a regular basis. I am an animal lover so pets would not be a problem.
Hi there, welcome to my profile :-) I’m looking for a furnished room as soon as possible until April. I have been travelling around the world since February and decided to stay in Melbourne for the next six month, to work and to explore Australia. While I was studying in Germany and England, I have always lived in shared apartments, so I’m not new to this. 😉 My interests are sports (yoga, running, bouldering). I like spending time together cooking or chat over a glass of wine. I wish to find flatmates who are interested in spending time together. I'm 27 years old finished studying and have been working for many year already, now I'm working in Melbourne. Hope to hear from you!! Janna
Hey! I'm moving to Melbourne in January 2018 I'm chilled and easy going and get along with people who are like minded. I'm moving from Sydney to study Fashion Design at RMIT. I don't just want to find a place to just live but more to create a home for myself that I look forward to coming home to with fun People. Cleanliness and respect are also important to me. Also ready at any point to be a professional photographer for a night out
Hey! I am a Canadian female who has been living and working in Melbourne for the last year. I'm a really down to earth and fun person to live with. I'm clean, respectful, but also fun to hang around with. I'm looking for accommodation for 6 months or more depending on if my visa can be extended! I enjoy cooking, hanging out with friends, and enjoying a glass of wine with a movie. If I sound like your ideal housemate let me know!
Hi everyone, my name is Valentina and I'm a 25 years old girl from Italy. I have been living in Australia already for one and half year and my partner and I are both thinking that's about time for us to move to Melbourne. We are ideally looking for a studio or a one bedroom apartment, we wouldn't mind getting on a lease for one year for the right place. We both love travelling, listening to music (especially records) and food lovers. I have a big passion for photography and one of the reason why I'm so keen to move to Melbourne is because I hope I"ll manage to do something with my passions, get inspired by other people and learn more. My partner Cane loves music, especially hip hop and jazz and spends a lot of his spare time producing his own music. We are looking for a cozy, tidy and clean place that we can personalise (furniture is not a must) and finally call home. We are looking around St.Kilda and South Yarra as I always feel the need to be by the water, but happy to consider other areas too. Our budget is 500 pw max, keen to spend a bit more if most of the bills are included, and happy to move in by the 1st of november. If you have something or know someone that could help us out, please contact me!! :) thank you very much Valentina and Cane
*Do not message me if the room you are offering is NOT in the suburbs that I have listed* French expat, I have been lucky enough to call Australia home since 2012! I am moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for work and to be with my boyfriend. I am ready to start this new chapter in my life! Looking for a nice place to call home and to meet amazing people! I am fun, clean and respectful. I work full-time and like to work out, eat food (I know I am French but I am a terrible cook ahah), catch up with my friends, paint, travel and go to the beach. Don't mind the occasional housemate catch-up but also like to keep to myself at times too. Bonus points if you watch GOT and Stranger things!
I'm 22 and from Denmark, working full time as a nanny (the cute baby in the picture). I'm happy, tidy and respectful. I like music, cooking (sometimes really odd things) and occasionally binge watching a stupid Netflix show. Enjoy sharing a meal, a chat or some drinks on the weekend, but mostly take it easy on the weeknights, as babies can be pretty exhausting. Always up for a chat though. I have my own van, that I like to drive places (currently figuring out what next trip should be). I enjoy camping. Happy to keep a clean house, I'm not too fuzzy myself, but if there's a cleaning schedule, that's all good. Generally a laid back, relaxed person. My boyfriend will be sticking around until December and I'd like for him to live with me until then. Happy to pay more rent until he leaves. He's also employed full time. He likes football, cider and banter. We're, of course, accepting of everyone ❤️💛💚💙 Cheers!
'm 25 and studying the JD at Melbourne uni full time. I also have a part time job at a family law firm in the city. These both keep me quite busy, I'm often at the library studying. This means when I'm at home I do like a relaxed and quiet house. I'm always up for a chat and a few wines though! I'm really clean and tidy and love to bake all kinds of yummy things. I'm also really organised with life so I'll always pay my rent on time and contribute my fair share to the house.
Neat, tidy, quiet. I enjoy a casual chat over coffee, but am not someone who is always hanging around to talk your ear off. Working full-time in the CBD, so somewhere close to transport would be great.
Hello future Roommates! We are a French/Scottish Couple in our late 20's who have enjoyed working and travelling across Australia for the past two years. Little about us... My name is Gini 28 years old and originally from Glasgow, Scotland. I'm currently studying a Diploma in Human Resources and work part-time as an Office Temp covering Receptions and General Admin work at different companies across Melbourne, mainly 9-5 working days. Ludo is 28 years old (nearly 29) and from Paris, France. He's is currently working as a sales assistant in a bike store, Ludo is a keen cyclist, triathlete sports in general oh and cheese! We are an easy going, open minded couple who like to socialise have a chat about life, travel, etc. but we're not too in your face either, respectful of space and the need for some downtime! Like to lead a healthy lifestyle, keep fit, eat clean (not opposed to the odd treat now and then). Love to cook, try new recipes and happy to share meals and a bottle of wine..or two. Both of us are clean, tidy and organised. We previously sub-leased in the Brunswick area which we loved, but are open to discovering other areas. However this time we would ideally like to have our names put on the lease (rental history for the future etc.) We are looking to rent long-term 6months or more and would love to call a place home not just a place to live in. Happy to share with open minded, respectful people from any nationality. If you like the sound of us and think we'd suit your home, please don't hesitate to drop us a message! Merci :)
Hello! My boyfriend and I just arrived here from the US and are planning to stay here for a year. We are fun and active people. Jim is a web developer and I was an insurance underwriter. We are responsible and clean. Ideally looking for a furnished room or apartment but could also do an unfurnished room. Looking for a good part of the city with convenient public transit access and awesome flatmates if applicable. I enjoy volleyball and soccer, we both like rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding and playing flag (American) football. Thank you for you interest! Annie and Jim
Hey there! I'm looking for a new place to call home as well as meeting some absolute legends. I work full time and am hoping to start studying part time mid next year. I'm pretty chilled during the week and don't mind a couple drinks on the weekend. Also love a good Netflix sesh. I'm a huge animal lover and have spent the past 4 months house sitting and looking after 2 adorable blue Staffies. Shoot me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your humble abode :)
Hi there! I'm a 25 yr old student currently studying a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science with ACU. I also plan on doing my Masters in Exercise Physiology. I'm pretty active and love being in the gym. I've been studying for 2 yrs already with another 2.5yrs to go. Ideally, I really want to move closer to uni. Brunswick/ Fitzroy is my favorite area but I'm open to any area within around 20-30 minutes from uni (currently I'm an hour out). I do have a dog, she's an old doggo. 13.5yrs old. She genuinely spends her entire day sleeping! Though she loves a walk. If a situation arises where I really can't have her, I'll make an arrangement with my mum but ideally, due to her age, I really want to keep her with me (and she's friendly to all animals - if you already have some). I'd like to be with people who are active and social. Whilst I recognize the need for privacy, I don't want to be living with people who sit in their rooms 90% of the time they're home :)
Hi all who might be taking the time to read this! My name is Ignacio, a 25 y/o guy from Chile, but hey, please keep reading! haha I'm moving to Melbourne to study my master's in Information Systems at UniMelb, and I'm planning to spend also a couple of years in this city. I graduated from a public university in Chile in Organisational Psychology, and then I worked as an IT implementation consultant for a firm based in Toronto. As I was awarded with full graduate scholarship, I decided to come to Melb to start this new chapter of my life. I usually spend my free time biking around the city, and visiting new cafes and bars, if not a park -depending on the time of the day-. I also enjoy cooking at home, as it allows me to save a lot of money as well. At home, I'll be usually seen either studying, cleaning the kitchen -yeh, I'm a bit of an OCD when it comes to that, so I usually clean after myself immediately-, or having a good chat with my future housemates while enjoying a glass of wine. I'm quite house-trained as I've been living with flatmates for quite a few years now both at home, and abroad, with people from different nationalities, so I'm also pretty flexible and chill when it comes to get to know each other and their different habits. As a Chilean, my mother tongue is naturally spanish, but I have been speaking english also from a very young age, as well as working (and studying a bit) for a couple of years now, so communication won't ever be a problem. If my profile seems like a good fit for your houseshare group, please don't hesitate to send me a message as I'll be very looking forward to seeing them. If there's anything else you'd like to know about me, please feel free to shoot your questions! I'll be open to having long distance interviews/calls from now, and for inspections starting from the third week of January. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile!
My name is Chris. I am 26 years old. I am a friendly down to earth guy with a good sense of humour. I don't smoke but I don't mind if anyone does. I like a beer but I'm not a party animal (those days are over ha) I enjoy watching movies, sports and love the outdoors. I'm a sociable guy so be good to live with people who are similar of course. Thanks Chris
