What makes me great to live with? I'm friendly, funny, kind, neat and respectful. I work full time as an architect - on weeknights I like to see friends or just chill out at home. I want to live with people who will share a drink and a laugh, who are neat and tidy but not too pedantic and uptight about such things. I have an interesting way of viewing the world, have had an interesting upbringing and like to talk about the meaning of life. I don't have any weird/annoying habits and as far as I know all of my previous housemates have enjoyed my presence :) I love art, nature, music and beautiful films. Send me a message if you think I'd be a good match and we can take it from there :)
I've been travelling for the past 8 months and now ready to go back home. I can be quite reserved around new people but super social once I get to know you. I love video games and watching TV series such as GoT, Westworld, Vikings. On an average weekend you'll usually see me drinking wine, playing PS4 and singing (not good singing), and will usually go for cafe breakfasts. I'm vegetarian, although known to eat chicken nuggets while drunk, and want to learn new recipes. I work in Private Health Insurance and usually have 9-5 working hours. I'm pretty down to earth, tidy, and never have anything to complain about.
Heyy! My friend Arthur and I are looking for 2 private rooms around Flinders, South Yarra, Prahran or even Windsor. We are both French speaking good English, we are tidy, clean and respectful towards our housemates. We gonna stay at least 3-4 months in Melbourne for sure. We always enjoy meeting new people and we hit the gym quite a lot haha please feel free to ask for more :)
***Please don't contact me unless your place is in Port Melbourne or South Melbourne*** Hey! My name's Noelle. I'm an Irish 34year old illustrator/designer. Absolutely love what I do, it's my passion :) That said I know how to relax, love getting out and about, going to the gym, socialising, galleries etc. exploring Melbourne! Always respectful and considerate of housemates and would expect the same. I'm a positive person, very easy going & sociable, happy to chill out with housemates and have chats over coffee/wine :) Currently live in a Brunswick but started a new job in Port Melbourne so looking to find a gem of a place to call home and some equally sparkling housemates to go with it! :) I'm looking for down to earth, friendly, tidy and respectful flatmates with same outlook as myself. It's lovely to have a friendship with the ppl you rent with, creates a nice atmosphere in the house. At the same time it's important to have your own thing going on as well. I'm not a room hermit but I enjoy downtime, I work hard have a full time job and my own creative work so that takes up a lot of my time. I try to keep a house relatively tidy and clutter-free as I've a huge fear of sp*ders so the tidier the house the less place they can hide 😁 That said I'm not going around with the hoover every 5 minutes 😄, but if I see something that needs cleaning I'll do it don't need to be asked. I tidy up after myself and I don't treat the common areas like my bedroom. Again, I'd expect the same from housemates.. Things that make a happy home: mutual respect, relaxed atmosphere, communication, consideration, kindness and paying bills on time. That's it in a nutshell!
I am 23 years old moving to Melbourne early February from Newcastle to start University! I will be studying and working part time. I am clean, tidy and am always up for a chat and hangout! I love most types of music, anything to do with fitness, travelling and dogs. I’m after my own room in a clean and tidy house with some other awesome housemates :)
I'm a 23-year-old recent Swinburne Graduate. I was born in Poland and moved to Melbourne about 3 years ago. Unfortunately, my flatmate with whom I have been living ever since I moved to Melbourne is now moving out and I have to find a new place to stay. I'm young yet mature, very easy going and respectful. I'm interested in art and design, enjoy going to art galleries and exhibitions in my free time. I usually cook at home every second day, I'm very tidy and rather quiet. I don't own a car so I would prefer to stay in a place located relatively close to public transport. If you own any animals it's a massive bonus cause I love pets, especially dogs :)
We are a sociable couple who also respect when people want time alone. We love to cook, we are clean and respectful.
I live a quiet life. I am building an online business around part time work and spend most of my free tim eon that. I like to read, watch movies and cook. I've lived and worked around the world, have some amazing stories I'm bound to share. I love animals, so if you have pets that's great. I enjoy a glass of wine with dinner. Not keen on living in a smokers environment. I tidy up after myself and prefer to live with other tidy people, but not OCD extreme. I can laugh at myself, pretty easy going. I'm looking for a 3-6 month stay, with potential for longer.
Hi potential roomies, hope to hear from you soon! My name is Lucas and I'm a 30 year old guy currently working for the Bureau of Meteorology near southern cross. I enjoy watching movies and TV shows in my spare time, or reading useless facts on the internet (trivia is fun). I also enjoy going to the beach, going on road-trips, and Nandos! I can alternate between being very social and very not, depends on mood. I grew up in QLD though have lived in Melbourne since 2009. I'm getting back into fitness and health after knee surgery in April (2017)... Doing pretty well so far and looking at trying to find some new hobbies when I can (rock climbing hopefully soon). Would enjoy doing these types of things with you if you're interested. I'm looking for somewhere that will ideally become available in February, as I need to move out of my current place in Caulfield North by March. Also, need somewhere close to public transport due to lack of a vehicle. Thanks! Lucas
My name is Laura, I just finished off a Master of Social Work. I've been living in the Brunswick area for the past four years and would love to stay around town. Like a true Northsider, my main form of transportation is my trusty bicycle. Although I do have a car! I am a domestic goddess due to my many years in hospo, I knew the motto of "if you have time to lean, you have time to clean" would come in handy one day. I am vegetarian. I work full time in Brunswick. Warning: I have an addiction to house plants and love a good garden. I enjoy reading, pot luck dinners and live music. I love getting outdoors and am a keen hiker. I'm also a diver.
Hey, I am a postgraduate architecture student moving to Uni Melb, after growing up in NZ and Adelaide. I'm tidy, fun and easy to get along with. I'm also reliable and happy to take up home responsibilities. Definitely up for socializing, but will also respect your personal space! If I am not in studio working, I'll be making art, running, cooking, and exploring the city :) particularly into wine, design and rooftops... feel free to message if you want to team up or share!
Well traveled cultured independent woman, who takes pride in my life and living space. Just arrived from Perth! I’m chilled, friendly and social but also love a lot of down alone time , like any well balanced Libra 😉 You could find me at a Latin gig sweating it out on the dance floor, browsing through an Op shop, with a good book and a chai, going to Yoga and Thai boxing classes! I am a professional and also a practicing Hypnotherapist, I promise I won’t turn you into a chicken in the middle of the night but could help you with your chocolate addiction 😜 I am Looking for a spacious room, in very close proximity of city and public transport Look forward to hearing from you, if you have a place in these areas!
Irish, working full time as a PR/Events Manager with an agency in Southbank. Sociable, easy going and tidy! Non smoker. No pets, unfortunately! Music lover, love going to gigs, festivals or whatever is on around town. Looking for somewhere that I can hang out with the housemates over a glass of wine or food but also respect each other’s space. Ideally looking for a furnished room for a minimum of three months.
Im relaxed, respectful 33-year-old Masters student looking for a laidback house to join around the inner north. Ideal space is somewhere with some light and outside space and housemates who like to share a laugh and a cup of tea on occasion.
Hello all =) I'm a laid back, good natured guy whose hobbies and interests range wildly from binge watching tv shows on Netflix to going on drives to nowhere in particular then exploring where I end up. Its safe to say I'm always up for new experiences and challenges. I'm fully house trained and pay my bills on time. Professionally I am an Actor but when the gigs are not coming in I pay my rent working in hospitality, hosting pub trivia and sometimes teaching to odd drama class. I'm hoping to find some housemates who can become friends overtime and a home where i can be happy and creative.
I'm a 22 year old international student from Sri Lanka studying my Robotics Engineering bachelors at Swinburne University.
Just moved over from London and keen to meet new people. 25yo, love my sports, especially watching and playing football. Listening and sharing good music. Enjoy having a drink and going out at the wekeends. Down for socialising with flat mates but also understand privacy. Flexible on location.
Hi there! Our names are Hugo & Sofía and just got to Melbourne. We're both 28yo and looking actively for a job (and a room!). We used to work in product development and finance in the automotive industry, but we quit are jobs searching for something else and here we are 🙂 We're looking for a nice place with easygoing people who'd love a beer and a chat after work or any plan may come up. Of course we respect everyone's space and enjoy some chilling evenings too as we did with our flatmates back in Spain. Shoot me a message if you're interested in having us for an inspection 🙂 Cheers
I’m from Tasmania and moving to Melbourne to start my masters in teaching in February. I like the outdoors, food, travel and all round good times. Looking to live with relaxed likeminded people!
I'm a 22 year-old full time graphic designer working in Collingwood. I'm sociable and fun to live with but like most people I need some space every now and then. I'm looking for a place that won't be more than 1.5 hour travel to my workplace during peak hours. I would love to live with people who I can also be friends with, are tidy and respectful.
My name is Alex Woollatt and I’ve been living in Melbourne for about a year. I work in front of house/hospitality at both the Melbourne Events Group and La Mama Theatre. I’m very easy going, I work hard and I love anything arts related, movies, music, theatre, galleries. I love to keep active as well, love going to gym, running, doing yoga and meditating. I’m very independent, cook and clean up after myself, and also very social so I'm happy to have a chat. I'm looking to move out of my current place after 1st Feb, and have to be out of there by the 16th Feb. If you like what you read and want to meet, let me know!
