Hey! Me boyfriend and I are looking for a place to stay for the next month - 3 months! Both easy going and easy to get a long with. Enjoy a night out but also chilled nights in :) Or looking for 2 rooms with another couple
I'm a Korean born but New Zealand raised gal who moved to Melbourne 6 years ago and now call it home! I initially moved over to study fashion and textiles merchandising - so have been working within the industry since I can remember! I'm currently working at General Pants and have just started a short sewing course at RMIT so I can start my own street wear brand this year which I’m super excited about! In terms of my personality, I'm super friendly, outgoing, humorous, super chilled and can get along with absolutely anyone I meet. My interests include fashion, sewing, reading books, keeping active and going to the gym or going for walks, listening to podcasts and watching TED talks, and attending festivals and gigs. As I've lived in share houses the past couple of years, I know to keep communal spaces clean, doing my part to keep the house maintained, paying the bills & rent on time, and respecting one another's space. But at the same time I love having a chat with the house mates after our day/night and doing social things like getting a Bev/dinner, going for a walk and attending gigs.
I'm Sam, moving over from Perth to Melbourne during February. I'm an engineer and currently work Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO), I will continue this from Melb but once settled will begin looking for a city role ASAP. I'm easy going, extremely clean, enjoy going out on weekends but usually prefer to keep a quiet and peaceful home. I'm ideally looking for a 2x2 in Collingwood or Prahran or nearby. If it's a sunny day I'll probably be out and about riding my bike or swimming. May take some time to figure out what to do during Melbourne winters.. I'm great at keeping indoor plants alive, as well as murdering outdoor plants. I currently live in an apartment by myself so I have plenty of items I can either bring with me or not. Other than that I don't plan on bringing any furniture with me so furnished/unfurnished isn't an issue.
Hi! Canadian chick looking to move to Sydney or Melbourne on a short-term lease for the time being. I looking for a private room in a nice area. I enjoy yoga and going to concerts. Always down for a beer. Cheers :)
We're from the UK on a WHV417, 28&29 y.o so not new to paying bills & being responsible! Looking to secure full time employment as soon as we arrive (22nd Jan) but not necessary for us to pay rent/bills as we are coming over with a nice cushion of funds. Both very chilled out, love to cook, and enjoy a wine every so often. Hoping to get out & about in Melbourne to see what the city has to offer on our days off! Hoping to find a LGBT friendly place with some chilled housemates that respect peoples privacy but are also up for a catch up over dinner/drinks occasionally.
Hi! I am moving back to Melbourne in early March and looking for a place for 3-6 months min. I come with a small kitty, Marley. We both keep to ourselves, me working part time/full time and studying while Marley spends most her time sleeping. I’m tidy and considerate of others and keep the cat's things the same! I'm easy going and down to chill out or get down for a boogie and a couple of bevs.
Hi! My name is Isobel, I am an 18 year old from Tassie, looking to move to Victoria for Uni. I am starting a bachelor of business this year at Latrobe University, and need a room preferably before the 4th of Feb. Flexible with the length of stay, whether it's 2 months or 6 months. I'm a very friendly, easy going and tidy person. Always happy to be social, but also enjoy my own down time and am very respectful of others privacy. Asides from uni, I really enjoy visiting friends, exploring local parks, listening to music, bingeing Netflix and patting any dog I meet.
I will be in Australia for 9 months on a working holiday visa. I love to learn new things, so I will be trying to soak up as much as I can while here. In the past I have worked with kids as a ABA therapist and also in the vet field. I plan on working at least one full time job. I love to hike and go shelling. I love to cook, and I keep very clean.
My current housemate Anna and I are looking to move out of our established houseshare and find a new place to live and some like-minded people to share it with! A bit about us: Anna: Is from Bateman's Bay, NSW. she is a full-time student studying Interior design at RMIT while working part-time. Lara: Is from the Gold Coast QLD. She is studying Media and communications at Swinburne while working part-time. We both enjoy cooking meals together, chats over wine... you know how it goes! Basically, we're both full-time students and workers so while we enjoy the odd night out and fun around the house together, we still enjoy our solitude as well and respect each other's privacy. Our potential housemate/s is someone that is self-sufficient, mindful, clean and easygoing. We are friends rather than housemates and genuinely love the experience of living with supportive and fun housemates. We are accepting of all genders and sexual preferences as well as food preferences. If this sounds like a Household you'd enjoy chuck us a message :)
28 yr old female working full time as a university tutor, moving to Melbourne from Perth in Feb 2019. I’ve been to Melbs 5 times and have an existing networking of friends. Also hoping to make new ones :-) I love ballroom dancing, netball, hiking & camping and getting cosy with a good book. House trained, not a crazy party gal but usually up for a chat and a giggle at the end of the day! Looking for one or two other housemates, preferably young professionals. Possibility of fostering or adopting a pet would be a bonus!
So about me, might be long but might be short story. I currently live in Tasmania but feel now after some unfortunate events over the past two years that it is my time to leave. I currently work in aged care as an ECA and wish to continue this when I arrive, I’m thinking I might also study but unsure of this at the present time. I have a passion for cooking and entertaining friends, as if friends I unfortunately do not have any over there so I’m looking to make some amazing memories and friends. I plan to stay forever in Melbourne as this will be my home from now on. Now to the things I am looking for; I need a place where I can park my car. The home to not be far from the city and/or a short train/tram ride home, as us Tassie folk feel driving to work for half an hour is hell so I’d like to start off small with my commute. My own private bedroom thats lockable, My own bathroom, But mostly a place that’ll have amazing housemates to take me out on the town every now and then, treat me well and teach me how to live happily as my life over the past few years have brought me down. Oh and one last thing, no matter how little I need to bring I will never leave my best friend Thermomix so hopefully there will be a small place to share her in the kitchen.
I'm a full time professional and live an active lifestyle, stay as fit as possible and am passionate about my work. I'm very clean and used to be a cook, so love cooking too. Play a few instruments and sing. I am not a huge party person, but definitely enjoy a glass of wine or whisky over some banter or chill time. I typically keep to myself a bit, but really enjoy socialising with the right people. Give me a buzz on 0498486089 if I sound about right Looking to move in the first 3 weeks of February (Feb 1 to Feb 22).
Hello! Avery and I are both lovely individuals who love all things food, wine and culture! We’re super excited to explore all that Melbourne can offer us. Avery loves to play guitar, winding down after a long day and I love to sit there listening. We’re happy to chat about the city and what secrets it holds. Although we’re also keen on having some down time to ourselves. We’re clean, and respectful and we know how to keep a power bill low! We’ve gotten used to the heat from living in Noosa, QLD for a few months so we don’t need an air con unit to be happy! Can’t wait to meet some new people and start another party of our adventure!
Im a friendly person with no smoking habits. I dont mind a drink or two with my flatmates. Loves to have a joke sometimes. Im clean and organised. Im comfortable with male and female both flatmates.
Hi! My name is Kalle Johansson. I just got of the bus from Byron Bay where I’ve been working as a musician and barista the last couple of months. I’m 22 years old, love cooking vegan food, playing music and wine nights. I’m very social, tidy and spontaneous. My plan is to stay in Melbourne until the end of May, when my visa unfortunately runs out. Give me a call if you want to! Cheers!
I’m a personable and friendly gay man working in a professional role in Collingwood. I own my own home just outside Melbourne but I’m looking for a place to live during the week. I’d be away in the country most weekends (expect to have me around 4-5 nights in a typical week, maybe less). My husband would occasionally stay over but would not be sharing with us. We have a very adorable middle-aged Labrador retriever, she would very occasionally stay over (only if that was OK, it's not a deal-breaker if not). I'm deeply embedded in LGBTIQ community activism and I am a volunteer director of several health-sector NGOs. My politics are very left-progressive, I am a bit of a hippie at home (we live in an off-grid mud brick house) and love reading, discussing ideas and politics, and trying to make a difference in the world. As a flatmate, I'm considerate and caring, I like things neat and clean in the shared areas, I don't bring the party home and I pay my share of all the bills with no hassle. I don't smoke, use hard drugs, or leave passive-aggressive notes: I'd prefer to share with people who share those characteristics.
A friendly, studious person with good vibes to exchange experiences and learn languages. I'm a very respectful person, aware that sharing a space with other people requires working in team to lighten the burdens.
We are friendly and easy to get along with, we don't bender (often) but we aren't anti social or stuck up, we don't whinge and complain and we keep the place clean and show respect when it comes to noise. I'm Cameron im a 29 year old electrician from Queensland And my partner is Tonje, shes a 23 year old photographer from norway
