Hi! I am Lisanne and will be starting my PhD in Law at RMIT early Feb. In addition to this I will be working at the University. I am Dutch but have been living in Australia (Sydney) for 2 years. I have also lived in The Netherlands, Spain and Sweden. I am well-travelled and open minded. Like outdoor activities but never say no to a glass of wine after a work day. I clean up after myself and like to keep my place tidy and clean. I am looking for a home far away from home with like minded flatmates! Shoot me a message if you have a room available and think we'll be a good match, cheers! Ps. Unfortunately I cannot live in a house with pets as I'm allergic to cats and dogs
My name is Maddy, I'm 25 and will be moving from the Gold Coast to Melbourne in Feb 2018 to study a Master of Psych at Monash in Clayton. I'll also be looking for a casual job. I'm looking for a friendly share house to move in to. I'd like to move in with people who are keen to hang out and have a good time. I only know a few people in Melbourne so a social household will be a great start. I'm a friendly, social and open person. If you think I'd be a good fit for your house and want me to come round and check it out in Feb, let me know :)
Moving to Melbourne from the US (Seattle). Will attend the U of Melbourne for a graduate program. I am a part-time paid musician, and love adventure/the outdoors. I have always been a very clean roommate, and get along with just about everyone. I'm a very social person and would LOVE to live with someone local!
I'm 29 from the states here traveling through OZ. Looking for a furnished place for 2-3 months. I work in accounting in the CBD M-F with typical work hours. When im not working, I like to go to pubs, cafes and am really into sports. Im really easy going guy who likes to go out and socialize, but am ok staying in and doing things solo. Cheers!
Hi I’m Zach. I grew up in Echuca and have been living in Melbourne for the past 7 years. I studied engineering at RMIT and am now working in the city for a software consultancy called Readify. I love playing basketball and keeping fit. I’m easy going for a chat and to hang out while being respectful of my room mates’ boundaries. I clean up after myself and keep my apartment generally neat and tidy.
I am a tidy, open-minded, social girl who wish to live with other young people, but requires a little private space however. I will study Fashion Design BA at RMIT, Brunswick Campus from February to July. Dont worry about paying the bills on time, I will do, as I have won a scholarship which covers most of my living expenses. I am a responsible adult, who can take care after herself, and always has time to clean up, because I cant live in a dirty environment. I cant cook, but love to eat.
Hi, I'm a 23 year old Radiographer who doesn't mind a few wines and a chat, loves a cup of tea and an occasional netflix binge. I also like to keep active with pilates and running. For work there is occasionally shift work involved, so I would prefer not to live in a party house. I would be interested in becoming friends with roommates but would also like some down time occasionally. I am looking to move in late Jan to early Feb as I need to be out of my current rental by mid Feb and can supply a fair amount of furniture and appliances if need be (everything except a washing machine and microwave). I am probably looking to move in with only one or two people, so shoot me a message if you think you’re interested :)
I am easy going, pay on time, clean after myself. I am into yoga, meditation, hula hooping, dark chocolate, hiking, markets, second hand stuff, camping. I love a friendly environment in our home but I am also very independent and keep myself busy. I am vegetarian but I do not mind if you are not :) I prefer long stay but I am also adaptable to short stay since I won't have a place from February 2018. Please message me via Flatmates. Thanks.
I'm Lydia, 30, and work at Toyota, though my experience before this is in humanitarian aid sector. I'm pretty easy going, like to share a meal with housemates occasionally, a glass of wine or beer and a good chat are always good, but I understand that home is a sanctuary and space/alone time is important. I love reading, enjoy a good meal, pubs, playing ultimatum games and a good laugh. I think it's important to make the effort to make a share house a home, not just a house. I like to keep communal spaces clean, and cooking for housies. I'm very easy going and flexible. I think it's important to respect others' space and time.
Danish architecture student on exchange in Melbourne. Hoping to share a place with happy housemates February-June. Hi! I’m a Danish architecture student looking for a room in Melbourne during my exchange semester at RMIT. I’m hoping to share a place with housemates, as well as having my own private room. I expect to spend a lot of time at uni, but I’d love the company of flatmates for the time I'm home, and occasionally share a meal together. I'm always up for a coffee and a chat, or a friday night glass of wine. I enjoy climbing, yoga, travelling, cycling around the city, and cooking with friends. I also like listening to lots of podcasts which means I might sometimes have weird facts/stories to share. I'm considerate and have lived with others before, and I'm vegan. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or if you have anything available.
We're two international students from Vietnam in need of off-campus accommodation, as we'll start our courses at Monash University from March 2018. We're not a pain in the ass. We don't bump loud music at night, so your sleeping schedule will not be disturbed. We don't steal food in the fridge. We don't litter. We're very negotiable when it comes to chores. Overall, we're reasonable people (or at least we think so). Living with international students could be a refreshing experience too. Don't worry about the cartoon picture, we just don't have a picture we can upload at the moment, so that'll be used temporarily.
Hey there! I am moving to Melbourne on the 12th of February to do my masters in management at la trobe university city campus! i've travelled a lot, so i understand different cultures and their way of living. So I’m super comfortable with all walks of life. I am very friendly, adjustable, clean, crisp, tidy, responsible and eager to learn to see things in a new perspective and to learn different cultures with respect whilst studying! Tbh, I Prefer going out than to the uni! So the priority is not all about studies. Although, Private time while private time, study while study and at leisure i’d love to go out for a beer and just cannot say no to some some sick parties on the weekends with the fam! Looking forward to learn surfing so a House near the beach would be perfect. Other than that fifa, NAPS, sporadic gym goer, cooking, Netflix and sip on some good wine is what I do to kill time. To be more precise, I’m up for anything you just gotta name it, well let's game it! Traveling around during holidays? Yes please! Let me know if we could team up. Cheers!
We are both students who study full-time online and work part-time. We are quiet, clean and respectful individuals who mostly keep to ourselves, but are always up for a chat. Sage is an ancient history student who likes to paint, draw and play acoustic guitar in her spare time. Dylaan is studying information technology and enjoys programming, playing video games and building computers. --Free "IT Guy" included for all your household technology woes ;)
Hi! I'm 28, moving to Melbourne on 20th January, have a permanent visa and will look for a job (work as a mechanical engineer). I'm friendly, easy-going, tidy, non-smoker and love pets (but don't have). Going to make new friends in Melbourne. Looking for a furnished room to rent for 4-6 months (probably more). Prefer Nothern suburbs, also Western and Eastern, but not far from CBD. My budget is 200 AUD per week including all bills. I guarantee cleanliness and paying on time. Ready to pay a bond and for a few weeks ahead at once. Arriving on Saturday 20.01.18 and ready to come for an inspection on Sunday 21.01.18.
I am pretty laid back, love a laugh and a beer/cider/wine or two, but also like quiet time and appreciate others doing the same. I like to keep tidy, but am not anal and nit picky etc. I respect shared areas as well as my own. I'm moving to Melbourne from Northern NSW so looking to live with someone happy to share their secret squirrel knowledge of the beautiful city! :) I am looking to live with 1-2 others and move toward end of February at this stage.
Hi there. Looking to move into a share home for a year or so... just trying to save some more moolah so I can buy my own property eventually. Currently, I'm in my own apartment with furniture but if necessary, I don't mind offloading some for the right place. Otherwise, more than happy to keep all my furniture for the right abode too! I'm laid back, enjoy the social banter over a beer or two, and also appreciate a quiet night in. Also, importantly, I'm a clean and considerate housemate. Look forward to hearing from you.
I'm a cheerful and laid-back student looking for a place close to uni. In my free time, I like to listen to music, make art and have a good ol' chat. I'm also housetrained and can cook you a (sort of) decent meal from time to time. Looking forward to chillin with you!
Hello! I am an 18 year old professional who is moving to Melbourne from Brisbane in late January. I am staying with a friend for the first few weeks then will be looking for a place to share with some great people. I'm a tidy, friendly person who is always down for a chat or a beer! I will be working full time bartending whilst in Melbourne.
I'm a 20 years old girl from Norway who just moved to Melbourne. Just got here after 5 months of travelling and now looking to settle down here and get a job. I’m social, independent, easy going and tidy. Like hanging out/grabbing a drink so looking for a social place. Care about the environment and making conscious decisions and would be great if I shared a place with like minded people.
I’m a 25y old Belgian girl currently living and working in Melbourne on a whv. I’ve been working in a restaurant for the last two months and lived in Caulfield North for a while. But now I have to look for a new place! Just so you know, I work full time and I’m financially stable. I’m a joyful and social girl, one of the reasons I love working in hospitality! I love cooking, but I’m not the greatest cook, but you can be the judge of that 😉. I’m pretty easy going and always up for a chat. Although I work full time and sometimes weird hours, so I might not always be around. I love sports and traveling and I prefer being outdoors. Hopefully I can bike to work, cause that makes me really happy and reminds me of Belgium 😉 Ask away if you have more questions. Hope to hear from you, Cheers Marie
