Hi. I am moving to Melbourne in January for a new job and looking for a private room. I am respectful of communal areas, quiet and easygoing. I am looking for somewhere that’s around 30 minutes from Melbourne CBD. I am open to any suburb 😊
Hi! I currently live in Brisbane and will be moving to Melbourne in late January, early February so I will be quite new to the city. For school I will be studying fashion and textiles at RMIT full-time so any room near Brunswick is perfect. I am quiet but love to meet new people. I’m also studious, clean, kind and a plant and animal lover.
My name is Amy, I’m 33, gay, working full time Thursday to Monday (days) and studying online. I’m quiet, clean and responsible with paying bills on time, taking the garbage out and changing the toilet roll, to name a few. I’m very independent and spend most time studying or working. I can have a chat on just about any topic. I will keep mostly to myself as I intend to be very busy for the next year. I enjoy music, drums (electronic kit, I’ll probably store it), dark beer (I rarely drink and don’t party), X-Men, NFL, reading (I don’t watch tv except the news sometimes or the latest SVU episode). I love cats. I’m looking for long term accommodation 3+ years Internet Large kitchen Heating and cooling would be a bonus but I’m a tough nut during winter Room to fit a Queen bed, desk, and 2 small tallboys (if no wardrobe) OR happy to take a furnished room with similar Preferably cats only On Street parking Happy to come inspect any day in the evening and have a chat
Hi! My name is Chris, and I'm moving to Melbourne in March for work in film / photography. I'm into all things creative, I love hanging out with mates and am not too terrible in the kitchen. I'm looking for a place full of likeminded people down to hang but also respectful of the need for downtime. Looking for a long term place around March/ early 2020. Cheers!
I am looking for a friendly, relaxed place to call home. I am starting my masters of teaching at Melbourne uni and am looking to move closer to campus. I work teaching arts and crafts to kids and nannying. I am always up for a chat but am also respectful of space. I am hoping to stay around 6 months - potentially longer. Let me know if you have any questions!
Hi! I’m a full time psychology student at uni melb, I’m looking for a spacious room which gets plenty of natural light as I have a lot of plants. I’ve been living in brunswick for about an year, love it here and would ideally like to move somewhere in the area. I’m happy to go on a lease, my move in date is between the 19th to 29th December. (But there is some flexibility with this) I cook couple of times a week and I’m good at baking desserts. Im not a party person, but socialise quite a bit. My schedule is a bit flexible. Im usually busy with uni, or working on art projects , swimming, reading, practising arhatic yoga. I come with a decent collection of books, a nutribullet for the kitchen, a quirky sense of humour, and a good listening ears. I absolutely love my personal space, need quite down time but I don’t want to live like complete strangers, I would prefer to get to know each other a bit. Ps. Please Excuse my typos, if there are any ( I’m hopeless at fixing them). If you have pets thats an added plus for me. Ive fostered many animal over the years, so i'm quite good with them. I am extremely tidy and organised, and an open communicator.
Hi everyone, I just arrived from Copenhagen, Denmark and im looking for a place to live. I've worked the last couple of years with photography as an assistant/digitech and also as a freelance photographer but recently quit and started working at a bar with friends while deciding if i was leaving or not. I've really gotten into bouldering the last couple of months and would love to get a part time job in a bouldering center once i arrive in Melbourne, other than that, im really just looking to meet nice people, explore Melbourne, travel a bit and enjoy myself. I've pretty much always lived with a flatmate or two and love doing so. So im always up for cooking and enjoy geeking out and preparing (hopefully delicious meals) for whoever is around, i'd love to do activities together since i dont know a soul in Melbourne but I of course also appreciate some alone time, its all about balance. Im super excited to move and really hope to meet and live with some awesome people :-)
Working at a pub in Fitzroy. Going into my final year of uni at RMIT. Hobbies include, cooking, judo, cycling, reading, and smashing a few beers. Keen to find a place with chill vibes and interesting people. Not a neat freak but like to live in a tidy home. I'm respectful and social to others and like to live in a drama free household. Since I work late nights not usually home in the evenings. Pretty good at keeping my noise level to a minimal when I come home from work in the early hours of the morning. Also use my push bike as my main mode of transport, after ptv that is, so looking for a place where I can securely lock it up. Currently living in Maribyrnong. Have lived with my current flatmate for the past 2 years. Wanting to move out because I’d like a change.
Hello ! I'm a student studying Journalism at RMIT, and I generally spend my days during the week studying if I'm not working at my lovely retail 9-5. On the weekends and in my spare time I love to cook, garden, and hang out with the people around me. I'm an easygoing gal, love a glass of wine or a few beers every once in a while, and I'm always down to hang out and have a chat. I love cooking, will always clean up after myself, and I really get stuck into housework with some Lauryn Hill playing. I always have hobbies on the go, and I love to sew, make ceramics, go for walks with my dog, and see live music. I can provide references from employers and previous housemates :)
Very active person, mountain biking every weekend and gym during the week. I am tidy and considerate of others who use shared spaces and always make sure to contribute to housework. I like gardening so happy to help outside if that is required aswell. I like food preping on the weekend and socialising with housemates. Also respectful of other people when they need some quiet down time. I work full time 9-5 and keep things pretty low key and quiet during the week. Weekends are usually just bike riding and maybe a couple drinks out somewhere. Non smoker and i dont have any pets.
