Hi, originally from Denmark but based in Berlin since 2004. I've worked some years in higher education, and am now doing a PhD. My project examines feedback in online learning. I'm in Melbourne for a 3 month stay as a visiting scholar at a local uni. In Berlin I'm mostly living a big city life, so I'm happy to have a few months here in beautiful Melbourne where the city is more easily combined with outdoor activities and wholesome fun. I enjoy bouldering, hiking, swimming, jogging, and most often I go to bed early to get an early start. I'm primarily searching for a room in CBD, Fitzroy/Collingwood or Brunswick. My Office is in the CBD, and I work normal office hours. I love meeting new people from different backgrounds, and with interests that are different from my own. I'll be in Melbourne until 1 April.
Hi. I'm a young at heart 41 year old looking for a mature, friendly, clean and quiet household to move into in December 2018. I'm a professional who is also training for an amateur body sculpting competition and studying part-time so I’m looking for a quiet, peaceful environment with a clean and functional kitchen. I enjoy fitness, running, swimming, reading, meditation, yoga, a large variety of music, philosophical/intellectual conversations, spiritual exploration (although I'm not religious) and getting out into nature, be it the beach or the hills. I'm vegetarian however the household doesn't need to be. There is quite a large amount of food prep required for my training so I tend to spend a lot of time in the kitchen each week however I’m mindful to work around others I live with and always clean up after myself.
Originally from the UK and have spent the last 3 years living and working in Austria. I've moved to Melbourne on a 4 year sponsored visa to start work in the Australian subsidary of my current company as a Project Manager. I'm pretty well-travelled and will be coming from shared accomodation (5 people), so I understand how important it is to be a clean and respectful housemate! An outgoing person and like to stay active whether it be in the gym, playing sports or out on a hike, etc. I'm also keen on my music and would love to meet people to head to some gigs with; officially a pubs-over-clubs kinda guy (these days!) and always keen to improve my cooking skills (obligatory glass of wine/cold beer during preparation!) Weeknights are admittedly quite low-key between work and keeping active, but it would be great to meet sociable housemates keen to enjoy the occasional meal together etc. If you've any questions, please feel free to ask!
So a bit about me; I'm 24, and currently between studies. I finished a bachelor of arts a few of years ago and have been doing odd stuff since then, but am planning on beginning a masters of architecture next year. I am interested in all sorts of things (sometimes too many)...such as permaculture, cooking, all sorts of music, doing various art/craft-like things such as gardening, reading and writing, and bike riding....etc. I'm looking for a communal kind of home that likes to cook and do stuff... Currently I'm working casually as a receptionist at a Physiotherapy but am looking for some other casual/part-time work.
Hi guys, I’m looking to house share or team up with new people for a new lease. Seeking people that are chilled and reasonably clean, common areas in particular (bathroom, kitchen, laundry). I clean up after myself and I’m easy to get along with. I have a pet dog named Tealk who I keep clean and is well trained. I have a backround in visual and performing arts though have been working in trees for the last 4 years, currently studying a diploma that takes up a lot of my time. My hobby’s include wood turning and art so I’m looking for a place with a garage that can be used for these purposes.
Hi! My name is Laura and I'm from Barcelona. I've been living in Melbourne for about 4 months. I'm a very easygoing person and I'd love to make any kind of plans with my housemates. I love music festivals and travelling. I'm looking to meet young, fun and open-minded people to live with :) I'm also very clean and I love cooking!
Outgoing 25yrs old couple from Bali, Indonesia. we are both masters student and part time employee. We cook a lot, but always clean up afterwards, we're neat and like to live in a clean, tidy environment Always pay rent and bills on time (I am the “rent organiser” for the current share house). Our interests are; music, bicycle, shopping, movies and dogs! Although we don’t own any at the moment what we need is a nice, comfy place to call home for long term period. A big room with ensuite is not necessary but preferred. We need to find a place with one car park :) we are smoker, however, we will NOT smoke inside the property or even in the balcony if it's not allowed. We will obey the rules related to any smoking restrictions.
I love good food and company, I enjoy cooking and I'm very into clean spaces. I am an actor and playwright, social but definitely keep a low profile through the week as I'm usually busy with creative pursuits/rehearsals/hospo jobs. I'm a reliable, relaxed and down to earth person. I'm not a pet owner but I get along with dogs and cats swimmingly.
1. Your future dentist... want tips for a great smile? I graduate very soon :) 2. Quite confident in my ability to live peacefully and respectfully with people. 3. By far one of the most considerate and tidy (but not excessive) person you will ever live with. 4. I enjoy cooking and baking for others :)
Masters mechatronics engineering student at uniMelb. I'm a Big fan of sports, enjoy working out, a FIFA legend. I believe I'm a friendly person in general. I'm neat and like to tidy up things especially areas I share with others. Usually at uni most times during the semesters.
I am a dance maker/performer/teacher who also works in the disability arts sector, studying at RMIT. I’m clean, respectful, easy going, happy to hang out/share a meal/do cute house stuff (or not - whatever the vibe is! Haha) can efficiently adult when it comes to bills/rent/keeping the house presentable etc. :)
My names Jenna and I'm a 21 year old gal moving to Melbourne from the Gold Coast in early 2019. I've landed a job as a registered nurse and looking for a place to live! I'm a pretty easy going person who enjoys being active and travelling. I don't have any pets of my own however I am a huge animal lover. Although I enjoy socialising, I like having a homely space to be a tidy and peaceful place and I'm very respectful towards others and their belongings, and understand the need for personal space. Most of my week nights are pretty low key. Of a weekend I'm mostly out and about with friends, adventuring in mother nature or enjoying a cheeky beverage or two at a local bar. I'm just chasing a place with some mellow vibes and good people :)
I'm a down to earth Irishman looking for a friendly place to call home for the next few months. I have lived in several share houses around the world without any complaints (ok one complaint about dishes but I swear I have changed :). I like to relax on my days off and am a very good pub buddy but my best attribute is my cooking. I share where I can and I'm respectful of other people's stuff. I don't get up to many physical activities but I'm really easy to talk into joining in. Also keen to join a cricket club here.
Hey! I’m Ana from Spain, I’m a psychologist moving to Melbourne looking for new opportunities. I’ve been living in Australia for almost 3 years already, on the GC and Cairns. I love climbing, all kind of activities outdoors, the beach, marine life, expos, electronic music, and of course, travelling!✌🏼 At home I’m really chill, I like to socialize, watch a good movie or try to cook a new dish. Super tidy and respectful. But, to be honest, I like to expend the time out. At the moment, I’m looking for a full time job.
Hi guys, I'm Nayab but my friends usually call me Dexter! :) I'm currently associated with a manufacturing company as a Electrical Engineer.. pretty hectic schedule during weekdays... full-time work, then training in evenings.. or odd dinner out with mates but weekends is the time to unwind! And I do so by checking out new brunch spots, long drives out of town or going out to check out any gigs happening nearby :) I'm originally from Asia but moved permanently to Melbs roughly 1 year ago so exploring this awesome city is what I like the most! ;) I have lived in shared houses before so I know the drill of being clean, tidy, friendly and at the same time respectful of other's privacy.. Not a fan of 'disjointed' housemates so would prefer a little social roomie.. Hit me Up!! :)
I'm a Finnish male from; Helsinki, moving Down Under, to work as a carpenter in Brunswick East. My journey begins: 1st of November, in the gorgeous city of; Melbourne! - Easy going, approachable, reliable, friendly, outgoing, good sense of humour, respectful, handyman around the house, coffee lover, music enthusiast, snowboarder, and just a great bloke. I've lived in: New York, London, around Europe, India, Nepal and travelled extensively around the world. Whilst living abroad, I've lived with many people and have a great rapport amongst all past house mates. I'm happy to live among people from all walks of life.
Sociable, personable, clean and tidy professional from the UK. Into music, wine, food, all the usual stuff. Looking to live with like minded people in a nice home. I like to be out and about and be mates with my housemates rather than just sharing a place but don’t want to feel like I’m living in a hostel! I have my own bed and other bits so looking for somewhere unfurnished with good storage.
Hey looking for friendly laid back person/people to share a house with. I work in civil construction so out of the house all day, if not working would like to relax, listen to music, see friends, have friends over, go out just generally live happily :)
Hi, my name is Tristan. I'm a full-time arts undergrad at Melbourne. It's not natural for me to advertise myself like this. But if I have to: I would say I'm hygiene-conscious, semi-sociable and pretty organised. I enjoy meeting new people, learning, dissecting art, the opera, music and laughing with humans. I thrive on open-mindedness. :) I have to say, I'm not looking for anything in particular as I prefer to keep my options open, it would be great to have a clean, safe and supportive environment to be in.
I'm clean, easy going and lead a relatively busy lifestyle. I currently live in Brunswick and will be moving out due to the redevelopment of our current property. I'm a legend of a housemate because I can respect the space of others, and also appreciate a drink or a night out - if that is your thing. As for who i am, I'm in the third year of my apprenticeship as an electrician, and I love it - Outside of this I study and play football. I can provide any references you might need, or answer any further questions. Thank you
