Canadian moving to Melbourne from London. I work in the advertising and design industry as a digital artist. I'm looking for anything from a short term sublet to a more permanent place for around 6 months. I have a pretty standard schedule, work Mon - Fri. When I'm not working; skateboarding, art, photography or anything outdoors camping, hiking, fishing, snowboarding.. Canadian stuff
Hey there! I'm Chloe, 22, originally from Tassie - been renting in Melbourne for over 3 years now. Have just graduated from uni with a bachelor of business :) I am tidy, reliable, and always down for a good chit chat. I love to cook. I am considerate and respectful of others and their things. I love music and going out to gigs. I have a bit of furniture etc that I have collected over the years that I am happy to share with my future flatmates – open to the idea of team-ups.
Hey there, we're a couple looking to move close to CBD as one of us is currently studying at UniMelb and I plan to enroll there for the next academic year. Our focus is on a budget place in a safe area, close to public transport, since we're working part-time and studying. Ideally a place with own/ensuite kitchen & bathroom, since sharing and time-management with others may not be possible for us as students. Furnished or semi-furnished is fine. We're both pretty low-maintenance, outgoing and love exploring new places, but otherwise happy to stay home and study/read. Neither of us drinks or smokes.
I'm 36 and have full time job, one casual job and am also studying online, my 3rd degree because apparently I'm a glutton for punishment! I enjoy music (I go to gigs a couple of times a week),also talking politics, I loooove cooking, and I spend a fair bit of time juggling study / Netflix binging / reading, sometimes all at once. I'm pretty experienced at the houseshare thing - I clean up after myself, pull my weight, and pay what's due on time. I also have a cat, or a sloth. Depends on the day. She's a 10 year old rescue cat and is the most inactive and passive thing ever, she's also my mate.
I’m Jackson - 24 (although some of my friends would say 30), full-time economist and film buff (I also have a budding interest in baking!). I'm Melbourne born and raised, but have a U.S. citizenship (not that I plan on taking advantage of that anytime soon...). I'm easy-going, sociable, friendly and open, but also take pride in being organised, clean, and respectful of others. I'm a sucker for getting out and going for walks, be it in a city park, or state reserve. I'm currently on the hunt for a room close to the city, just to make the commute to work easier, and to experience life in the vibrant inner-city culture and surrounds. I've had rooms in share houses before - in Copenhagen, in Berlin and here in Melbourne. I'd love to find a new home with a group of people who consider themselves friends, not just housemates. I've been an avid traveller for most of my young adult life, having spent many long trips in Europe and surrounds, and have spent 3 months in Cambodia working on a micro-finance project. When I get the chance, I love to go to a local café, sample a coffee, and have a nice read of the paper or any other article, book or magazine that has piqued my interest.
Hey! I am just about to graduate from my law degree at Deakin University Burwood. I'd love to move closer to the city once I graduate and before I commence my practical legal training. I am a really social person and it would be awesome to meet new people!
By way of introduction, my name is Ahsan, I am single, 32 year old male, an Electronics engineer, graduated from Australian Nation University (ANU).I am extremely clean, easy going and a friendly person. I have been working with one of the Australian FMCG as a lead technical consultant but unfortunately just been made redundant due to economic crunch. I am currently working part time and also looking for full time opportunities, and considering the attention I am receiving from recruiters, I believe that I will find something very soon.
Currently living in a shared house on the Mornington Peninsula but due to study, work and placement I'm needing to move into the city. Im a third year social work student at RMIT and starting a 12 week placement at Peter Mac at the end of August. I will be wanting to stay at a place long term. Im 25 and very sociable, want to be able to chat to my housemates and have a wine here and there :). But also will be very busy with my time during the week and independent,
What's up People I'm Marco, I'm looking for a shared house and nice people to live with. About me I can tell you that I love to cook a lot and ride my bike everywhere, listen to music and play it, one passion I have is to talk about physics/universe and psicology/spirituality aaaand I work in the hospitality industry, obviously I sound like a very normal person...but I'm not hahaha!! I love to travel and I can offer free language lessons in Italian, Spanish and a little bit of Portuguese and French. I play the drum but don't worry never too late or too early and I play it well ;) I'm very respectful of housemates spaces and I'm clean, I've got a lot of experience sharing houses around the world. I'm very keen as well to team up with anybody, hopefully before the 2nd of August, which is when I'll leave the house where I'm living now.
**MOVE IN DATE AROUND THE 15TH OF AUG** Hi! I'm moving to Melbourne from Hobart and looking for an easy house to slot into. Ideally i am looking for a house that is also a 'home', and I would want to be good friends with my housemates (also have friends in Melbourne so ~no pressure~). I'll be working full time in South Melbourne but am willing to commute for the perfect house. I like going for beers at any opportunity i can, but also having a quiet night in. I like crafts and have my own little side business for fun, I play drums in a Hobart band (playing in Melb in Nov!) and am looking forward to finding the perfect ~melbourne coffee~. I have lived in many share houses (went to uni in Brisbane) so I am very respectful of peoples spaces and love a clean shared area.
Hi! We're two Canadians on exchange in Melbourne. We are enrolled at the University of Melbourne studying Biomedicine and Nutrition. We are neat and friendly, open to explore the neighbourhoods of Melbourne. We love to discover new spots around town for food coffee and everything else!
We are two easy going people, who care about humans and are compassionate and respectful. We love going for walks and enjoying the nature. We like to get together with others and share a good meal and chat, possibly with a little wine/beer and a board game. We've both rented for the last 5 years, so we are reliable with our pay and tidy up after ourselves. We understand others need for downtime, as we need it too. If we catch your interest, write a message and we can chat over Skype. (Required since we currently live in Denmark) Cheers, Rune & April.
My name is Laura Cortes.I'm Colombian, I'm 27, studying and working in Melbourne since one year ago, I'm looking for a room ASAP!!, the reason is because the lease of the place where i'm living will finish soon. I'm easygoing, clean and tidy, like to share and have good talks, but also have my on space, love music and beer. Thanks, looking foward to hearing from you
Hello! We moved to Melbourne this week along with a cute wee cat! :) I am a Social Media Manager and Brendon is a Music Tutor. We are relaxed, tidy, and creative. We enjoy good movies, playing boardgames and are very excited to explore and enjoy living in Melbourne.
G'day, we are Holly and Jesse, and we're looking for a new fabulous place to call home. Holly is a singer/songwriter, youth engagement worker and bartender, and volunteers at Triple R. Jesse is a gardener who works labouring for the City of Whitehorse and also writes fiction and spends a large chunk of time working on his writing. Jesse is American, Holly is Australian, Holly is a vegetarian, Jesse isn't. We both love pubs, beer, books, cooking, walks, talking, seeing shows and sitting in parks. We are both genuinely happy, positive people who thrive on meeting and getting to know new legends, and although we both love going out, we both want home to be a sanctuary and definitely not just a crash pad. We're currently in a pretty unique situation - we've been between renting temporarily with friends and long-term Airbnb stays, although we both have stable, steady work. Holly also regularly travels outside of Melbourne on tour. Jesse's current visa is up just before Christmas, so we're planning to leg it back to California at that time. It would be so lovely to find the perfect home in Melbourne for the next 5 months. Looking forward to meeting some great people here!
Im a Norwegian girl turned 24 years old. Here in Melbs Im enrolled in a 2 years postgraduate in IT (Network and Security) and have 1.5 years left. Im a non-smoker, no pets. Currently working 20% as a web/app developer on the side and have no problem covering my living costs. Looking for a relaxed place, as uni take lots of time. Im not a party person, but enjoy being social.
Hello, I'm Elliot, currently living at home in the suburbs of Melbourne. Looking to move out sometime in the near future. In no rush, but would be good to meet new people and find a great place. I am a fairly normal guy I think, friendly and generally a happy person. I just got into full time work and around that I like to exercise most days and socialise when I can. Also like days to really chill too, respectful that people need to relax. I'm a pretty laidback person. I also eat quite healthy for the most part so someone who is the same would be good, definitely help keep me in line a bit! Around that I like to go out for drinks and eat out more than I should.. Not a neat freak but would definitely say I'm clean and like to live in a clean place. On here to be a bit different I guess, friends have moved to other cities and into big share houses and smaller places and moved in with great people so doing the same would be cool. 6 months was a guide, would like to stay in a place longer if all works out well
