I am a full-time student (studying occupational therapy), part-time gym receptionist who is looking for a place to live for the next 12 months. I am a keen wine drinker, dog patter and google searching enthusiast who is very social but also respectful of other's need for space, quiet and sleep. I love to cook, be outside (especially in the sun), watch documentaries and make terrible drawings. I am a clean person who is frequently described by others as 'very chilled out' and am pretty easy going. I am often out for most of the day, especially on the weekends but would also love a place where I could sit and watch TV/chill out with my housemates when I am home. Looking forward to meeting you!
Heya! I'm a 24 year old Melbourne gal looking for an unfurnished room (preferably of a decent size) somewhere in the inner north or east, after spending four long years on the wrong side of the river while finishing uni. I am currently finishing off my exams and working part time, and then will be starting full time work in the city in February in a grad program, and though flexible I'd probably prefer to be with others that work full time. My current lease is up in mid December but I would ideally like to move in sometime in late November. I have lived out of home for four years so have plenty of sharehouse experience and am pretty easygoing. Ideally I am looking for somewhere mostly quiet, friendly and reasonably clean - but the occasional house party/gathering is still definitely welcome. I'm relatively clean and respectful of other people's space and shared areas so ideally would like to be with people who are similar, but I don't particularly mind pets, smokers etc. Broadly speaking I enjoy being outside, art, gigs/festivals and travel as well as the occasional quite drink and/or smashed avo (hence not saving for a deposit...). Move date, price, etc are all flexible so please feel free to get in touch with any questions. PROS: - Above average knowledge of native Australian birdlife - Never leaves unwashed dishes in the sink - Can find north without a compass provided it's not cloudy CONS: - Not great at opening jars - Tendency to get obsessed with uncool TV shows (e.g. Air Crash Investigations) - No longer have a 5 star uber rating as my housemate once brought home a stray who turned out to be a bit casually racist (but still a solid 4.9)
I'm Ariane and work full time as a patent examiner (I research new inventions). I’ve been in Melbourne for a year and a half now and love it here. I enjoy getting out and socialising with friends, having a laugh, going to festivals, exhibitions, gigs and exploring the bars and cafes on offer. I am also a massive foodie and love a good glass of wine. I’ve just started learning the drums (electronic- so you won't hear how bad I am, don't worry) and love seeing bands. I like keeping pretty busy during the week, catching up with mates and family but also do like my downtime (the usual stuff that’s always written here, blah, blah). I like to keep fit and healthy (that also keeps me busy) and I really like a clean house. I’m independent but really like to have a homely vibe with the people I live with.
21 year old from Perth looking for a room ASAP! I'm friendly, outgoing and easy to talk to, do love time to myself but am always down to meet new people and make new friends! If you like groovy songs, art and native flowers then I am your perfect match xox
I'm looking for an unfurnished, spacious room where I can easily fit my queen-sized bed and my desk. About me, I'm a software developer working on a full time basis in the CBD. My working hours are usually crazy, so I'm not home until 8 or 9 pm everyday. I'm a chill person who enjoys chats over a meal or a few drinks, and I definitely enjoy a good movie. My partner lives in Sydney and he visits every 2 or 3 weeks for the weekend. So leave me a message if you think I can fit into your house or apartment :)
Hello!! We are a couple from Spain (27, 29 yo) looking for a place to call home. We would like to live close to the CBD or suburbs like St Kilda, Albert Park, Middle Park, South Melbourne...) and we can pay 300-350 pw. Hello, Sarah and I just arrived on Melbourne, and now we are looking for a room. We are 26 and 27 years old, loving life, ready to move in a sharehouse. Sarah is working in hospitality, usually on day shift, she likes literature, photography, doing huge chocolate cake, that I recommend to everyone. I’m working in construction, I like photography too, gardening, and to eat chocolate cake. We like to spend time with the mates, we are looking for cool people to live with, share some meal and having good time together. We talk fluent English, we already lived in sharehouse, and are responsible about all the duties and the behaviour engage in a share living place. We both already found work, we just miss our place to live to set up our lives for a little in this beautiful city. If you do think that it can match with you, give us a try and we pretty sure you won't regret! Looking forward to hearing from you soon :) S & H

Hey! I'm Nicole Morse, I'm 19 and study Fashion Merchandising at RMIT in Brunswick. I'm a fairly quiet person who loves to watch Netflix and go out for dinner/drinks occasionally. Currently I'm living with my parents over the summer holidays but looking at moving down to Brunswick start-mid January. Fun facts about me: - I LOVE to travel!! - I play tennis - I work at Kmart - I'm from country VIC AND I'm desperate for a room around Brunswick! :))
I am a fun, motivated and positive individual works full-time at a dealership near Collingwood. ( mid 20s) Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything you would like to ask me. cheers. :)
I just started work down here in Melbourne and work all through the weekend so I'm mostly looking for a place that is neat and tidy that I can leisurely sleep in when I get home from work and on my off days, something cozy with laid back people that are clean, polite and respectful of others as I try to be - definitely not looking for any kind of party house or anything of the like. I'm almost 19, I work a lot, sleep, love to cook good food and workout in my off time when I'm not too tired. Though I am bubbly and love a good chat I'll often be silently resigned to my own room enjoying my own company, multiple naps or researching things online. Though I'm young I'm very mature and would like mature, preferrably older housemates whom like a chat here and there but prefer to keep to themselves.
I am a clean person especially in shared areas, I love to cook and I like to share what I cook (for a gold coin donation). I paint and am quite a recluse. I like to watch horrible tv shows and listen to indie music and chill. I like some wine and a movie. I am not a party animal, or a smoker. I keep to myself but I do like to have a chat and a giggle with my house mates when I'm home. However university and work keep me quite busy so I only really have one day off a week. I would potentially like to get a cat. As a side note though i am looking for a large room. Preferably around 4x4ish. Thanks for reading.
Hi! I'm Miri, I'm 21 and currently studying Photography at RMIT and working part time in the city. I'm a regular gig goer, taking my camera along taking snaps and vids, op-shopping and market hunting for vintage gems and some good ol' chats over a glass of red! Looking for a house that is social, happy and easy going environment, but also being aware of the occasional study cram before exams and housemates being considerate of this time. Thanks! :)
Hi everyone! I will start my master degree in Rmit and looking for a comfy place for long term stay. 24 yo female from İstanbul. I'm easygoing and friendly, always up for sharing a dinner or drink. Enjoy spending time at home, watching movie but also enjoy going out at weekends. Looking for housemates that will become friends :) Don't have cats but loove them, so if you have it's np for me. Ps: I can move on from 12th of november. Cheers!
We're a couple in our 30's, I'm a new PhD student at the University of Melbourne, looking for a long term rental, and Manuel is here to work full-time. We're not smokers, no pets, very clean and laid back :)
Dan, 29, dj, nightclub manager, chippie..Work mainly in the CBD, so looking to move city way not about the 4 hour round trip every time I head to work, so time to move...Always super busy on weekends and some nights mid week..Carpentry work with a mate during the week doing our own thing, so super busy 24/7...Social but definitely a fan of quiet time after being around nightclubs all weekend..Clean freak and fairly quiet most of the time..apart from the music ;) Like to think I'm considered polite, neat, respectful & chilled out ..Fairly rushed intro, but feel free to ask away if there's anything I missed! ;)
Recent uni grad, taking a year off to work and travel within Australia. I'm originally from Canada and am 22 yrs old, looking for a place to call home in Melbourne. Ideally looking for roommates who are up for a drink or a night out, but also keen on having some down time and privacy. I'm super outgoing, social and respectful.
Hey Yo! I'm Kat, a 26-year-old girl from Estonia. I love animals, yoga, good vibes, natural food, theater, dance, art. I have 6 months till I start traveling again and I'm currently seeking an opportunity to move closer to my workplace. I would love to meet new inspiring people and get the best out of Melbourne experience. I would describe myself as a chill personality with positive energy, loud laughter, good kind of weirdness and inspiring thoughts. I like keeping it tidy but I don't have OCD. I try to be in the moment and let life guide me. Love sharing experiences and philosophying about the universe. Peace! Kat
Clean, Relaxed couple from the UK are emigrating to Australia in January. Laura has a job lined up with BAE systems. Ronan is looking for a job in the biotech sector. We like a quiet night in as much as going out for a drink with a few friends. Looking for some cool relaxed house/apartment mates to live with.
Hi guys, we are a fun, outgoing and diverse couple; work and workout, healthy cooking and clean, but also in for a drink; a pizza and just chill! Looking forward to find a nice and decent place;)
I'm a 31-year-old female from the beautiful town of Telluride, Colorado! I am heading to Melbourne on a Working Holiday Visa because I want to learn all about coffee, the Australian way. I work as a head barista and ran a couple of my own small businesses back in Colorado. I am extremely fun to be around (very sociable), but I also am very understanding and considerate. My friends call me "Mom" because I take care of everyone. I am clean and dependable (I always pay rent way before it's due). I like to go out, but have quieter nights in. I love traveling and getting to know others from different cultures, so I am very excited to meet more Aussies! I used to live in Wellington, New Zealand, so it makes sense that I should make Melbourne my next home! I am open to any housing situation, including subletting, but I prefer to have my own room.
My name's Jacob but I usually just go by Jake, I'm 22 and into technology, art, music and riding bikes - I relocated to Melbourne from Perth in October because Melbourne is awesome and have secured full time work here whilst continuing to work remotely part-time for an information security consulting firm in WA. I've been staying with a friend in Melbourne and am looking for more permanent accomodation to call my own for a minimum of around 6 months, I like to keep my living space neat, happy to split household costs fairly and would prefer somewhere with decent internet, convenience of getting to the CBD for work is also a plus (nearby public transport etc) Always keen for a bit of household banter, hang out when our downtime coincides or to make dinner and watch a movie or something from time to time but I work hard and like to chill outside of that (AKA I'm not going to be inviting handfuls of people over) also if you have any tech issues it's pretty much certain I can resolve them. I have good rental references from real estate in Perth (have held leases in my own name previously) as well as any professional or personal references that are necessary. Hit me up if you have any questions/wanna offer me a place or get lunch and discuss it (feel free to show me more places to get delicious food in Melbourne)

Hi lovely Melbourne people! I am a 28 year old easygoing, fun-loving female from Germany, a Business Economics graduate, travelling since almost 2 years. After driving, living, working around NZ and AUS I plan to settle in Melbourne for about 6 month exploring art, music, food, culture and lifestyle before the journey continues to Southeast Asia. Currently working in a cafe and some hours in a restaurant. I can clean after myself, respect privacy and would love to move into a cosy, peaceful home. Easy to chat with, enjoy conversations about cultures, travelling, the world and always happy to broaden my horizon/ get new input, being creative with salads and self baked muesli (the best :) ). At the moment into Yann Tiersen, Alt J, Indie, electro. Always up for an after work tee/beer/wine/dinner/movie or a night out with my flatmates. Also happy to spend time by myself, reading, doing sport - starting with Karate and improving Yoga skills, practising guitar (unfortunately don't have mine with me), strolling through parks, taking photos, op shopping, dreaming... Hey! I'm looking for a home to dream at night. My current housemate and friend is moving to London. so I am now looking to share my condiments and beers with some new pals. Due to recently turning old (30), I find myself on the lookout for somewhere somewhat "adult", but also chilled. Natural light, space, plants, semi-organised – you know. Ideally looking to share with 2/3 others in a cute house with a yard for Summer ahhhhs. Fitzroy North, Northcote and Clifton Hill are in my heart zone. Would also consider Fitzroy, Carlton or North Melb. Open to teaming up for a new lease too. I'm from Melbourne originally and I spend my days working on graphic design projects. I’m into kind people, happy gatherings, checking out galleries and gigs, bike riding, fun fitness, cooking, travel… the pursuit of a balanced lifestyle in general. Currently working from a studio in the CBD and as a contractor for a few different companies. Varied routine, but can assure reliability when it comes to paying rent on time and being a considerate, clean and easy going housemate. Always up for hangs and am equally mindful of sharing the space and respecting down time. I come with a washing machine (if needed), plant babes and a friendly as tude. Looking forward to meeting you. Lauren
I'm easy to get along with, love to socialize but also love my own space, happy to lock myself away for some downtime. I work in hospitality, am also an artist and photographer. I love cartoons i can spend hours watching Adventure Time, Rick and Morty and all adult swim cartoons, i feel like this has an impact on my sense of humor too (i think i'm pretty funny). I have tattoos and sometimes colored hair i model for a international alternative girls model website and also enjoy my video games. I have an art major in video games actually and am hoping to leave hospitality at some point for an arts industry job. So yeah, if your feeling my vibe shoot me a message, my current lease finishes at the end of January so am looking to move in around then. Cheers Amy
My name is Flame (thats cool enough as it is right?), I am a bubbly energetic girl. Fairly athletic (although prone to binge watching a whole TV series in a day) and healthy. Bit of a music and movie nut, would love if you could enjoy with me but respect personal space and also need my own space at times. I am looking to study part time and work the other half next year so looking for a permanent residence while i'm doing that. I'm not a huge party animal but do enjoy a night out or a beer after work/school. Love love love food and cooking, would love someone to share meals with every now and then. As I said earlier I am quite energetic so to not be alarmed if you arrive home to me dancing enthusiastically around the house. More then happy to answer any questions you have! :)
I'm a great cook and really funny. I am moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for work. I love socialising, fashion & food Really easy to get along with.
Hello! I'm Laurence. I am pretty newto Melbourne as I recently moved in from Montreal with my girlfriend Ariane. We are both 2 young professionals in our twenties and will be quickly seeking to have a stable work in our field of expertise. We both lived in shared apartment before, have had roommates for many years so we are used to living in a shared place. We are cool, not intrusive but like to have a chat once in a while and a good social life with our roommates. Furthermore, we love to cook and like to keep our place clean. Looking foward meeting you!
Hey recently moved to Melbourne and looking for somewhere for myself and a friend to live short term. Short term only, due to the fact friends are joining us in December and will be all moving in together. Both on a working holiday visa. As much as we love to socialise, we love to watch a good TV series or documentary. Been travelling for the last year and now ready to settle back into working and living in Melbourne.
I'm a 26 yo female one year away from completing my postgrad degree in medicine at Melbourne Uni. I'm originally from Sydney. I enjoy being a good mate for my housemates I am a social creature but I am also happy in solitude if people need their own space :) I've been renting with housemates since I started uni 8 years ago so I feel like I've got a grasp on this sort of thing and won't be terrible to live with! I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, going on foodie adventures and binge watching Netflix especially when I have upcoming exams. I love wine and cheese nights. I enjoy a cold beer and playing Call of Duty. I also enjoy travelling, board games, musicals and boozy conversations about history, science and politics. I am also super clean because I find it therapeutic but am highly tolerant if others aren't so much :) My lease ends Dec 11 and my close friends are all moving away so finding somewhere before then would be ideal! I have a bunch of stuff so unfurnished would be better for me.
I'm pretty laid back and easy going, I like to surround myself with good people that are respectful and down to earth like myself. I love to to cook and expirermint in the kitchen. I'm a student nurse at HSA as well
Hi, We are a couple of Professionals, looking for a place to sleep closer to the city to ease our current 3 hour a day commute. We are an Architect and an Interior Designer working full time and studying our trade at night. We are looking for super clean, neat and respectful flatmates. We are not looking for a party house or a house as we are way past this stage. This is a short term 6 month at max run for us as we are looking to purchase our first property by June 2017. We would be happy to house sit for shorter periods or quietly reside in a granny flat or the like. We enjoy being active running, bike riding and picnics when not working 40+ hours per week.
I've just moved back from the Gold Coast and working in Richmond so I need somewhere close by. I work fulltime, I don't have pets, it's just me myself and I. I'm a bubbly friendly person who likes to try and have a social life. My family lives in Geelong so I try and go down that way to see them as much as I can when I'm not working. I would like my own room not share! If you are interested in having me as a room Mate please contact me as I'm needing somewhere pretty soon.
Im friendly and easy going. Im a Kindergarten teacher originally from Nz, In my spare time I play sports and like keeping active. I have sports a few nights a week, but enjoy chilling out with a glass of wine at times too.
Heya. I've just moved to Melbourne by way of Brisbane and before that, Canberra, for work with the APS. I'm clean, tidy and bill-punctual, chill, tall and nerdish; a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for drinks, games, generating food, dumb jokes, and making hay out of city loife. Pets are a life goal; big, sympatico, gender balanced share-households (4+) are a longstanding preference. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere colourful, inner-northish, with a bit of a garden and within reasonable riding distance of the CBD. I'm currently staying in Northcote with fam so I can move whenever, or even get on board with a team-up with other cool interlopers. If you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate, shoot me a DM and let me know. No roomshares pls. Thank
Hey! I'm a 29 year old female with a passion for photography and adventure. If you have any questions for me, please don't hesitate to ask!
