Hello! I'm from Malaysia and a second year advertising student at RMIT. I'm looking for a private room somewhere within the city, and preferably walking distance to RMIT. I'm a pretty chill and easygoing person. I like to keep things organised and neat around the house. Before this, I stayed at a student accommodation where I lived with 7 other people so I know all about cleaning after myself and respecting people's privacy. I love to explore new places (especially finding new eateries to satisfy my foodie cravings) and like to keep active by playing badminton on the weekends.
Im a 26 y.o high school maths teacher (currently on school holidays woo hoo). I’m friendly and tidy and I’ve lived in sharehouses in melb for the past 5years. I like to see friends, have drinks, go out for meals, do activities etc.
Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies and so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. ;) If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :) ... oh and one last note: my preferred length of stay is in fact roughly 5 months but this website doesn't offer this option. :D
Hi, I'm Francesca, 22 and from Italy. I just graduated in industrial design and I'm looking for a new work experience in Melbourne! I would consider myself to be caring, sociable and respectful to other housemates. I enjoy listening music, going to gigs, watching films and doing trekking tours. I'm tidy and very clean and I absolutely need my own space. I will work most of the time but I would like making friends and sharing the free time. I sing and play guitar and why not, I would like to share my music with other musicians! "Home" for me is a place where I can relax myself and also enjoy, I would like to share this place with people that contribute cleaning and do other homeworks. Please message if you’re interested! Francesca
hey people, I am starting my Masters at UniMelb this February and am looking at either joining an existing sharehouse or starting a new one. If you're keen to start a new place, let me know! I'm originally from Perth, into various hobbies that change all the time, easy going and a pretty decent cook. hit me up if you're interested
I'll be moving to Melbourne first week of February to study Masters at RMIT Brunswick. I'm originally from Manila, Philippines but I've lived in London, France, and San Francisco. I spent a couple of months per year in Australia (particularly Brisbane) in the past 2 years. I've also travelled to different countries in between. I love travelling, exploring new places, going on an adventure, being outdoors, art, photography, local cafes and bars, working out, going to festivals, and good food and drinks (wine and gin are my go to). I'm easy going and likes to have a good laugh. I'm also very social but enjoy my own space and respect others'. I consider myself as clean and hygienic, and reliable when it comes to due payments.
Studying double major in Environments at MelbUni, I tend to spend long hours at library. So when I am home, I like to cook or read a bit. Not a party fan nowadays due to my schedule. Also work part time as barista in a coffee shop. Plus I love making people laugh so I am willing to have a healthy social communication with my roommates. Also I like to have a clean house, so I am up to help in household duties.
I returned to Melbourne a few months ago after living overseas for many years. I’m loving being back and reconnecting with old friends and all the good things Melbourne has to offer. My work is music-related; I’m a sound engineer and concert manager. I’ve picked up some great work since returning, and this year is looking good - my diary is certainly filling up. Accommodation-wise I’ve been doing a mix of house sitting and staying with friends for the last few months. I’m now looking for somewhere for the short term, possibly longer - it's all open to discussion - and preferably furnished. I know what it takes to share a home in terms of good communication and keeping things hassle-free, and I'd like to live somewhere where things are kept generally clean and tidy (as an ex-home helper I'm a dab hand with a dustpan and brush) and the place ticks along nicely. I'm probably more suited to living with over-30s. I can be quiet at times but am by no means antisocial. I enjoy reading, music, science and nature and derive ridiculous amounts of pleasure from cryptic crosswords. Don't let that put you off, though! I like to have a natter and a laugh and share occasional meals when the opportunity arises, whilst also respecting people's need for a bit of quiet time and personal space. I do yoga, walk a lot and am generally active, enjoy cooking and eat pretty well. I’m a non-smoker and not much of a drinker, but certainly don't mind if you're partial to a tipple. Do get in touch - I'd love to hear from you.

Hey, I'm Alicia. 23yr old female born and raised in Melbourne. This year I will be working as a nurse at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and looking for a new place to call home with some housemates I can also call friends. I am a open minded, friendly, relaxed, considerate and a tidy person. I'm single, non smoker, I don't have any pets of my own but I do love animals. I love spending my spare time rock climbing, hiking, bike riding, having a drink/meal with friends and playing board games, cooking, watching movies and reading. I am looking for a house with social flatmates, who also enjoy their own space and time, but would like to have a drink now and then, watch movies, share a meal, chat and even head out into town to cafes, bars or the parks. My job will be starting in February so looking for a house in late January/ February sometime for a year if not more. Happy to grab a coffee and have a chat with my potential future housemate/s. Alicia x

Hello, My name is Arran and I am a 22 year old IT Engineer from the UK. I am one of the few people in the world to work in IT whilst having people skills. I come from a humble background and have been raised to show respect to others at all times. Outside of work I am usually busy catching up with friends, at the gym, going walking etc. Definitely past the partying phase do enjoy a glass of red sometimes. I am happy to do my own thing but also have the odd meal together and chat.
I'm moving from Brisbane to Melbourne for my undergraduate degree and I'm tidy and clean and am looking for flatmates and a room near the Monash Parkville area or other surrounding suburbs. I am friendly and hardworking and will be focusing on studying. This is my first year living out of my home so I am a bit nervous but I am very excited and enthusiastic to move to Melbourne.
