I'm an American dude who loves nature, staying active, and diverse communities. Most recently was living in Hong Kong and just transferred to Melbourne for work (business consulting). I'm just getting to know the city, so open to any rental duration PLUR✌️ Just opened this account - may come back and add a bit more color to this 😋
Looking for a nice place with like-minded people. Originally from country Victoria. I’m early 30s just left a video production management role with Fox FM to work with a US production company, I’m easy going and get along with everyone. I have a black Labrador that I’ll have by my side. He’s a great dog, fully house trained and is a pleasure to be around
We are Conor and Tanja, 28, from Scotland, and we are coming to live in Melbourne as of 15 October. Conor is a qualified accountant and I work in the third sector. We are quite outdoorsy and like to spend spare time, evenings and weekends going on trips, exploring new places, being out and about in general!
Hi Future Flatmate... I am super clean, friendly and very easy going. I just need a short term let / spare room for 7 weeks. Accommodation needed from 21 October to 9 December 2017. I don't cook much and I will just need to wash clothes once a week. I work in the city (Marketing/Copywriting) 8-6pm, Monday to Friday. On weekends I enjoy going out, exploring, exercising and travelling. I am originally from South Africa, but spent the past 4 years in London. I now find myself enjoying Melbourne's unpredictable weather, amazing brunches and excellent coffee! I head back to South Africa over Dec/Jan for a month so ideally just looking for a short term let beforehand. Shout if you have any questions. Thanks, Holly
Hi, I have recently moved to Melbourne after living in Singapore for the past 11 years. I am looking for a short term accommodation (starting from 1st October). I am very easy going, clean and organised person. I have lived in shared flats/properties for the past 7 years (Singapore) so I am fully aware of the shared space dynamics & responsibilities. I enjoy photography, reading, and travel. I also like to play board and card games with friends/flatmates.
Hi my names Rob and I’m a mid 30’s professional - high school teacher of Media, English and Food Studies and a former chef and film production freelancer. I have been told I cook a mean homemade pappardelle pasta with spiced tomato ragout (not gloating, just quoting : D). I am clean, reliable, social and finically stable. My moral compass leans politically to the left with a social conscience. Some of my interests include independent cinema, alternative music and basketball. I am chipping away at both a feature screenplay and manuscript and make the odd short film when I find the time. I also play basketball casually in an amateur league. I am not a big drinker though on occasion enjoy a big red or micro brewed beer and am happily addicted to coffee.
Hi I'm Adam, a 26 year old guy. Moving to Melbourne from Christchurch NZ this November. I'm a professional bartender, so I'm moving to Melbourne to farther my career. I've lived with flatmates almost my whole life. I'm respectful, conscientious, don't mind doing chores, and I think I'm a pretty pleasant guy to hang out with. Plus I'll probably end up making and feeding you some weird cocktails you've never hear of before.
We are a couple, Carla from Argentina and Stephane from France. Recently moved to Melbourne after travelling round New Zealand for a few months. We are on a Working Holiday Visa with jobs in Hospitality. We need to move right away and we will stay at least for 6 months. We want a room in a shared flat or house, with a big bed for both. We are looking for a nice place to chill out through the week, with people who are keen to have a drink or just watch a movie. We are both outgoing people and willing to give most things a go. Stephane has a degree in Gastronomy and loves cooking. He plays basketball but interested in any sports. Carla has a degree in Communication and she is also interested in photography.
Easy going, respectful, clean. I'm considerate of other housemates, enjoy sharing a drink and having a chatt, but also very fond of my own space. I work full time and travel as a part of work, so I spend most of my time away from home.

N - eat and tidy (on top of it like no one's business!) A - ddtionally, I love keeping my room immaculate!! D - etermine to provide some stimulating conversation. E - nthusiastic and lively. T - errible trombone player (so I won't bring the instrument with me!) T - errific pop-culture knowledge. E - diting/Writing is my name of my game (primary job).
I work full-time Sunday to Thursday 10am-7pm in the northern suburbs and I spend a lot of my free time at the gym, spending time with friends and going to see local music, so I'm out every day and most weekends. When I do stay in I'm usually reading, writing, listening to music or a podcast, so I'm pretty laid back in general. This will be my first time living out of home so I definitely won't be stepping on any toes, and I love getting to know new people without being too intrusive. I've lived in Melbourne my whole life in the eastern suburbs but I'm looking to move closer to the city. I own my own car, don't smoke and I'm single. I was raised to respect people and their belongings, and as the youngest of four kids, I'm not nit-picky about sharing. I'm easy to get along with and I like to think I have a good grasp on common sense. I can be a little introverted but most of the time I'm pretty bubbly. The move date/stay time is an estimate as my parents are selling their house in the coming months, but ideally I'd prefer a longer-term stay. :)
Hi! My name is Dave, and I'm a bit of a FIFO Festival / Events worker. I am currently doing a mixture of local and interstate work, and at the moment I'm looking for a place to stay a minimum of 4 weeks, possibly right through till February/March. I'm clean, house trained, and generally described as laid back, fun, friendly and quite sociable. Definitely up for a bit of a tipple, but also totally fine with quiet time as well. In fact, due to the nature of my work, ideally I'm chasing a room without too much street/other noise and preferably with some sort of curtain/blind scenario, as I do the occasional late shift and hence will need to sleep in during the day sometimes. But I'm flexible depending on what you've got and not too fussy overall. Both furnished or unfurnished setups are fine as I don't have much stuff, and I also have a ute, so I am more than happy to be of use if you need to get rid of, or bring new stuff into the house :) As for downtime, I'm big into music, surfing/beach, bicycles, cards/board games, movies, anything DIY, generally chilling out etc and am a keen gardener/urban farmer. If this sounds good to you, then give me a shout anytime :)
33yr old Professional. ( I'll be working for a French Luxury Company) Moving to Melbourne in late October for a new job and starting all over again. I'm pretty neat and tidy, Great sense of humor ,value mine and others privacy, love to cook, social but like to do my own thing from time to time, go to the gym a few times a week, home is my place to unwind and relax after work so don't mind a social drink every now and then, would be great to have housemates that could become friends and show me all the great local spots. Ideally i'd like to be a half an hour from the CBD via tram, train or bus. I love Melbourne but not too familiar with suburbs so i may have overlooked a few please let me know! I Love the outdoors so any excuse to get away for a spot of fishing or a decent bush walk and I'm all in! Love animals so if you have a social dog or cat i don't mind at all I'm also Bisexual- sorry just being honest :) Just got myself a new car so undercover or off street parking would be great!
Hi! I'm a telecommunications technician from Perth. I've been living in Melbourne for 2 years in January. I like sports, music, catching up with friends and getting out and about with my Border Collie x Kelpie named Rudie. I'm happy to hang out with housemates, however I'm independent and can take care of myself. I know how to clean up after myself and am self sufficient in all ways.
Had a tonne of experience in share houses, therefore am a considerate and tidy housemate and will always pay rent on time. I am an aid worker by trade but currently in the hospitality industry because food is awesome and I love making people happy with it! I'm really easy to get along with, chilled out, and enjoy debriefing with those I live with and, if the situation calls for it, a drink and some social time together too. I love food, travel, yoga, animals and going to music festivals (all kinds). You'll like living with me because I promise I'll make you laugh. When I'm not making you cry. Ok bye!
Hi, I am Katja. I am 25 years old and from Germany. Currently I am back home to visit friends and family. I love doing acrobatics, reading, traveling and getting to know new people. I have lived in various shared flats before and never had any issues. I am clean, tidy and easy going. From now and then I might have a friend over or I am going out. Please don't hesitate to contact me for more information :)

We are a couple of British nurses (one Irish one English) looking for private rooms in a house share. Were making the big move to melbs for a working holiday on the 4th October. We've lived together in the UK for the last 2 and a bit years so we respect each other and are both clean and tidy. We're both quite socialable and like someone who's up for being active and doing activities on days off. Obviously we will be working in hospitals around Melbourne so probably won't be around too much would like to live with like minded people who are up for a bit of fun and who aren't too serious. Looking for a nice private room each in the same property as I like Jenny but not enough to share a room with her. (Sorry Jenny)
