Hi there. My name's Sam. I'm 30 & I've been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. I work full-time in the CBD in Finance, 9-5:30 Mon to Fri. In my spare time I'm often out hunting for new places for breakfast and spending more than I should on vinyl. I enjoy reading tech blogs, pop culture, a few beers over trivia and the occasional Netflix binge (currently watching Dirk Gently). Seal's Kiss from a Rose is my go-to karaoke song. I'm currently looking to find a relaxed space to share with some friendly people starting mid-June I'm looking to stay long term (min 6 months), and am happy to put my name on the lease if needed. I'm share-house trained, clean, respectful, timely with bills and LGBTQ friendly. I'm looking for flatmates who are approachable and enjoy sharing a few drinks over dinner now and then, but understand that everyone needs their own space from time to time. Ideally I'm looking for a home more than a house, and enjoy being social with my flatmates. It's also important that the new house is close to public transport :) I try to eat healthy but I'm a sucker for a good parma. I typically organise my own food, but I'm happy to throw in for any communal house dinners or share if you ever need ingredients in a pinch! I'll be bringing a fridge with me too, so plenty of space for beer and extras! I don't have any pets, but I do have a good dad joke. 'Did you hear James Bond slept through an earthquake? He was shaken but not stirred'.
Hi, I am a Masters of Landscape Architecture student at the University of Melbourne. I am an international student with previous experience living in shared accommodation. I am pretty easy going, conscientious and respectful. I like to keep busy and like exploring new places, but am equally at home catching up with housemates over a beer or two. Being vegetarian transitioning towards vegan, I tend to cook for myself but am always open to finding out what others think about my food. I like keeping my surroundings clean and appreciate clean people. I am also environmentally conscious and would enjoy living with similar humans. I am looking for a room in a house or a flat which I could call home for at least the next 6 months and am looking to move asap.
Hi everyone, My little dog Sonny (7 year old mini foxie) and I are moving to Melbourne from Perth in August. I realise it's probably a little early to be posting but just in case. I am looking for a pet friendly rental within 20-30 mins of the city. I would also need parking and having had the luxury of living Perth for so many years I have become rather accustomed to the warm climate therefore I would definitely a place with heating! If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be really grateful. Ideally I'm looking for my own place but if that's not affordable I'd love to find someone pet friendly to start a lease with. (she's an indoor dog, used to having a dog door and coming/going as she pleases) I'd love to hear from you. I have household furniture & White goods. Anything you'd like to know, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks in advance, Soph & Sonny
I currently work in social media marketing in the CBD, usually spend my nights watching some trashy tv shows (Rupaul or Honey Boo Boo) or a doco on Netflix and eating the same meal repeatedly. I have some pretty good pros, in that I come with a Fridge, Lounge, Table, Chairs and most communal kitchen items. I'm also pretty good at puns and being inappropriate. I've lived in shared houses for over 3 years, so I'm fairly across housemate etiquette but I am really keen on making my house a home.
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
We are a young couple who have recently moved from New Zealand to Melbourne!! I (Madi) am studying full time and working part time, and my partner (Nathan) is working full time and playing AFL. We are both pretty busy but enjoy socialising when we can!! Looking for some young like minded people to become friends with!
whats goin on!? I'm a young 34 year old lad from NZ moving back to Melbourne Mid to late June. Already have employment to get into pretty much straight away when I arrive. I also have a job coming up in Sydney in the very near future (fifo sort of) so I'm either looking for somewhere temporary until I get the call, or if the house is an awesome environment and the price is right continuing the tenancy and fly back on my time off.... I'm single, no kids, an electrician by trade, social drinker, outside smoker, yo yo dieter, sociable, and looking for a place to not only put a roof over my head but to make some new friends too! So feel free to flick me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your pad! 🤙 Will need parking available
We are a young couple looking for a private room. Josh works in online marketing and is 29. Brianna is currently looking for work and is 23. We are both friendly, clean and respectful. We love animals, watching movies, social drinks, playing games and we keep to ourselves a lot but enjoy socialising also. We are looking to move in ASAP. We are potentially the chillest people you will meet. :)
Hey we are a chilled couple from Manchester, England. We're very laid back, clean and tidy, and respectful of others. We're massive foodies and love to try matching wines with our food. We both work hospitality, I'm front of house and Neil is a chef. We love to go out and try new restaurants, we also play snooker in our spare time and love a good series on Netflix! We're very sociable and easy to live with, it's important to us that we have a great relationship with our housemates.
Well as i'm sure it states somewhere, My name is Sam. I've spent my whole life in Auckland and have decided to make a big move to Melbourne! I'm pretty unsure about where I want to live but I'm excited about it all. I'm a very good cleaner - especially dishes - and consider myself a pretty responsible and considerate person. I know literally no one in Melbourne (exciting) and look forward to making a fresh start. I am an actor, so my working arrangements will be based around whatever fits in with acting classes and auditioning. Thanks for your time :)
Hi all! I'm Amelie. I'm a 30 year old fun and lovely gal. Looking for somewhere to live that's chilled out and clean. I'm a bit of a hipster at heart but without the pretentiousness and the looks. I love going to markets and cafes, upcycling small projects, pot plants, rustic furniture, cooking, drinking fountains of tea, appreciating life and having a laugh. I've just moved to Melbourne from Sydney (originally a New Zealander) so I'm still finding my feet at the moment. I absolutely love Melbourne! Ideally I'd like to live with people similar to my age who have outgrown the partying phase. I'm quite independent and love working on creative projects so I do like a lot of downtime to myself occasionally. I enjoy cooking and taking care of myself, eating healthy and exercising. I take a lot of pride in the space where I live so I really like places that are clean and creative, with people who are kind and considerate to each other and don't mind the occasional banter.
Hey all 😊 My name's Imogen and I'm looking for a place I can call home during my time in Melbourne. I'm 24, British, and have spent the past two months travelling South East Asia and the East coast of Aus, and I hope to be in Melbourne for at least 6 months. I'm sociable, friendly, clean, and I love meeting new people. I'm partial to a good pre drinks and a boogy on Chapel at the weekend, but I also enjoy a big feed and a chilled night in when it's necessary! During the week I like to (try) to be super healthy. I love to cook and keep active, so on week nights you'll find me in the kitchen or the gym after work. I love to cook for others too, so bonus points if you're willing to be my guinea pig! Looking to live with likeminded people of a similar age, and to be friends with my housemate(s), so if you think you fit the bill, please hit me up!
Hey guys, we are looking for a lovely couple or single to share a new house with in the Brunswick / Coburg area. We are a couple in our 20s with a gorgeous golden retriever x staffy. We've been in the Brunswick area for a year or so now and are looking for others to join us on a new lease. We have a few houses lined up to apply for, all of them are close to public transport, have off road parking and you will have your own bathroom. We are looking for a couple / single who enjoy company but also have their own thing going on. Ideally looking at moving into a new house in mid-june. Please flick a message through for any other details you might need and we can organise a time to meet up and chat.
I'm the kind of person that can easily get along with other people; watching movies, play sports or go to the gym. I'd like to maintain cleanliness in my place all the time and love to help with the household chores. Open to meet new friends and respectful to others' privacy or culture. Prefer to share the flat with a single person. Pets are not an issue. Non smoker but would love to grab some beer on Friday nights or weekends. Moving in to Melbourne this coming July and by that time will start to look for an IT job (Web developer).
Hey there potential roomie! So about me, well, I currently work fulltime in a law firm as a Legal Assistant (8:30am to 5p). I love to cook, shop, chill with friends and just do pretty much normal things! I also, understand that people like space, just as I like my own, but I am ALWAYS willing to do new things, and this is for sure one of them! Speak soon, hopefully :) x
Hey there! I'm Carmelo, 29/ Italian , working FT in constructions, at 2 sites located both in Balwyn and Hawthorn. I'm ideally looking for a room around Balwyn_Hawthorn_Kew or wherever I can get to work easily, even Brunswick and around (Near tram route 109 and easily accessible to Glenferrie station would be great, but not essential) I'm friendly, clean, house_share_trained, easygoing , and looking for same future flatmates. I can make an amazing Carbonara ...and that might be enough to get the place, without considering a funny accent included in the package 😂 Let me know! Thanks guys🤞🏻 Ps: I'd need to find something as soon as possible
Hi! I am coming to Melbourne for study abroad for spring semester. I am originally from America, but have living in Tel Aviv, Israel for the past 6 years. I love to cook, not a neat freak, but also not a slob, love to be social and meet new people, but am also always down to binge watch Netflix!
Hi, this is Eddie from Taiwan. I'm 27yrs old engineer works in IT and as a freelance translator. I'm easygoing and tidy, always down for a bit of banter. I'll be studying in melb later on this year, currently looking for a place to stay from the 4th of June up to three months stay. If u still have a private room/single studio apartment, a parking spot(street parking is fine) available, please let me know and hopefully we can organize a viewing soon. Cheers! And no couples, thx!
Hey! My name is Lauren and I am friendly and easy going. I'm in my final year studying business at RMIT and have casual job in retail. I have lived in shared accommodation for the past three years so I know how communal living works and have all the usual stuff down pat (cleaning, paying rent and bills on time etc). I enjoy having a chat and sharing a meal or a few drinks with my housemates but also respect people's personal space. I love travel, coffee, dogs, exploring Melbourne (as I'm originally from Tassie), music, yoga and eating hummus. Able to move in around mid-June. Please send me a message if you have a spare room or are looking to teamup!
Hi~ I'm Merry Joy :) I'm a 2nd year university student at Monash Parkville. I'm neat, tidy and relatively independent in that I can cook for myself and can drive. I'm quiet, but am definitely up for socializing from time to time. I respect others privacy as I would expect in return and will give space when needed. I've had experience living in a student accommodation before, as well as living in a sharehouse for one and a half years. I've always payed the bill on time. Hoping to live with you soon! ~
I am a full time student and would like to find a furnished place that I can call home (but for now mainly to look for short temporary option until end of July). Looking for place within 100-300 metres from either tram 1, 6 or 19. Love to hang out with fellow flatmates but fully respect to other people privacy, differences in culture, religion and ways of life. I am a social smoker but never inside the house (Big no no).
Hey my name's Harry. I'm 22 years old and am a full-time student at RMIT. I'm from Torquay and am intending to move to Melbourne relatively soon to study a masters degree in public policy. I'm very respectful of others and always clean up after myself; I also get along with pretty much everyone and enjoy socialising. During a typical week I'll be mainly studying, going to the gym, playing video games, and having friends over here and there. On weekends I tend to enjoy either going out/seeing people, or just hanging around the house/playing video games if I'm feeling like a quiet one. Raymond is a really down-to-earth 22 yr old Canadian that is halfway through his second year of law at Melbourne Uni (so a very smart cookie in other words). Like me, he loves to have a good time but is very tidy and respectful of others. His interests are pretty similar to mine (except for the video game part). He's a really fun guy to be around with a great personality and sense of humour.
