Hey there! I'm Kate, 31. I work full time in media researching stories for a lifestyle show. I moved back to Melbourne earlier this year after 4 years living/working in Sydney and London so am looking to make friends and rediscover Melbourne. I'm definitely not a party animal but I would like to live with people who would enjoy a post work wine or heading to a nice pub every once in a while. In my spare time (god, this sounds like a dating ad..) I like reading, watching films, exercising, salsa dancing, karaoke (okay I actually haven't done karaoke for about 6 years but I like the idea) and learning new languages. I'm clean and respectful of communal areas and I'd really love to live with similar minded people. My dirty student share house days are behind me! Other than that I'm very laid back, never been into 'drama', just looking to meet some great new people!
My name's Jordan and I'm a 21 year old creative from the Gold Coast. I studied Film at University and graduated in early 2016; I've since been living and working in Sydney. After over a year's production work, I've recently returned from a much needed Euro trip, where I spent a few months between Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam. I've recently made the drive down to Melbourne for a new job and am looking for a short term (2-3 month) sublet, where I can settle in, apply for my own lease and prepare for the following working year. On my weekends I like to work on my own personal projects, taking photos, soaking up the sun in the gardens and exploring new places. I'm ultimately looking for a bunch of down to earth, open minded roommates who I can have a drink and chat with at the end of the day! Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hi Guys, We are Dominic and Patrick. We are mid 20 year old working professionals who have just moved to Melbourne from London UK and Arizona US. We are extremely tidy, polite and respectful but also enjoy socializing, meeting new people. Festivals, BBQ's, gaming, traveling, nights out sports and we are also massive movie geeks. We are hoping to meet some people with similar interests! :)
Hi all, My names Sean, and I am a young professional working in the fashion industry. I work full time as a trend forecaster/ designer for one of Australia's leading retailers, so Im often quite busy during a typical week. In my personal life, I love to socialise and catch up with friends/ meet new people. I love sandwiches, reality TV, and going for a cheeky drink. Get in touch :)
Hi potential roomies, hope to hear from you soon! My name is Lucas and I'm a 30 year old guy currently working for the Bureau of meteorology near southern cross. I enjoy watching movies and TV shows in my spare time, or reading useless facts on the internet. I also enjoy going to the beach, going on road-trips, and Nandos! I can alternate between being very social and very not, depends on mood. I grew up in QLD though have lived in Melbourne since 2009. I'm gettting to get back into fitness and health after Knee surgery in April (2017)... Starting off well so far and looking at trying to find some new hobbies when I can. Would enjoy doing these types of things with you if you're interested. I'm looking for somewhere that will become available any time after now through to 'earlyish' next year. Need somewhere closish to public transport due to lack of a car. Thanks!
Hi there, I am a very outgoing, fun, energetic person. I enjoy having a glass of wine with dinner and when I get home from work. I am very laid back and enjoy a movie night but I also like to go out for a meal and some drinks with friends. I am a yoga instructor and love being outdoors, going to concerts, farmers markets, and going on new adventures. I am a clean, organized person and get along with almost everyone. I love late night chats about important things and even the silly things. I am a vegetarian, however if you do eat meat it doesn't bother me. I'm moving to Melbourne end of January but I am a planner and wanted to hopefully get a place before I actually moved. I will be getting a job once I get there but will be there on a working holiday visa :)
Hi I am Jacques. I grew up in south africa and currently live in england. I am in AUS on a working holiday visa and currently working full time in port melbourne. My GF alishia is from singapore and works from home for a company in brisbane. We are both clean and tidy and keep noise levels to a minimum.
Hi im a 33 year old working FT just relocated Perth and looking for a room in a quiet friendly house. Not looking for a party house. I work full time, love sports especially footy, soccer, music, running. Also enjoy the occasional beer & cooking. Budget $300 🙂
Hey my name's Dom, I'm 26 and currently working full time in IT at a school in the CBD. I'm looking for a place to stay until May 2018 as I'll be heading off to Europe for 6 months! I'm a really easy going guy, like to keep tidy and organised without being a clean freak, respectful of personal space and easy to get along with. If you have a silly sense of humor we will become good friends, I'm a pretty good cook too! Most weekends I'm out and about going hiking, camping or filming during the day then socialising with mates at night. Week nights are pretty low key with the occasional beer after work. Looking for a place with easy public transport to the city & to live with someone who enjoys a drink and a laugh from time to time!
Hello! I've just moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa. Left my job in construction project management in England to come out here and live the dream. I'm a very sociable person but also hard-working. I'm clean and respectful of others. Enjoy watching and playing various sports. Also a keen cook and don't mind mucking in when required. Looking to live with like-minded people.
I've recently moved over from the UK to Melbourne. I'm loving it so far and the plan is to stay in Australia for a year as I'm on a working travel visa. I can only commit to 3 months right now as i will probably decide to do a bit of traveling later on. I graduated last year and have a full time job as a bartender in Fitzroy. I like sports, going out for a few drinks or even just chilling and watching a movie. I've been living in share houses for the last 4 years so I know the deal!
Hey! I'm an easy going 23 year old from NSW who has a current permanent job in Williamstown - so paying bills on time will not be an issue! Currently based in Maidstone but on the hunt for a new place. Pretty open and friendly person, so will be keen to socialise with flat mates in spare time, but also very respectful of personal space. Enjoys a drink and hitting the town on weekends. Big music fan so will also be keen to get down to some gigs.
Heyo! I'm working full time in the city and am looking for a room in a shared house/flat. I've lived in share houses for the past 4 years so quite used to respecting others space + paying rent on time. Looking to live with people I can call friends rather than living with hermits. I love to spend my weekends outside as much as possible hangin with pals or drinking a nice cold bev. Looking to move immediately! My budget is max $220/week not including bills and needs to be close to public transport as I don't have a vehicle. I'm interested in starting a share house as well.
Hey, me and my brother are looking for somewhere to accommodate us from 1st December or can be earlier. We are two easy going guys from London, enjoy socialising but respect peoples personal space we are also clean and tidy and love cooking. I myself (Aaron) work full time in catering so ideally needs to be close to the city or living in surrounded areas. My brother Bradley is here just travelling with me until he goes home at the end of January. (I am aware this is not ideal but once moving in somewhere I plan to find someone to replace him as soon as he leaves) We are on the lookout for either two bedrooms or shared room we are not to picky as we would love to find somewhere to settle down. The budget shown above represents each of us what we are willing to pay. We do need somewhere furnished or semi furnished :) We would love to be your future housemates!
Hi everyone, English couple on a working holiday visa currently in Melbourne. Very easy going clean and tidy. Like our own space but more than happy to share a drink or make dinner together. Looking for somewhere until late Jan early Feb before we continue our travels around Australia!
We are two easy-going, fun-loving girls who met in college. I'd been living in San Diego for the past couple of years since then and Rachel had been living in New York. We love the beach, but are usually up for anything at all. Adventure is our passion and we'd each been wanting to live in Australia for as long as we can remember. Social, friendly, respectful and clean. Looking for a place that is a great fit for us, and we are a great fit for them!
I've been share housing for several years now, and know how to be a considerate housemate. I'm respectful of others space and privacy, but also keen for a chat over a glass of wine from time to time. Clean and tidy, but not uptight about it. Flexible move date. I work fulltime in the CBD -8:30 to 5:00, gym a few nights a week, and keep pretty low key during the week. Come the weekend I enjoy getting out of the house, and exploring all Melbourne has to offer- Museums/galleries, markets, outdoors, dinner & drinks, festivals, movies/theatre, the list goes on. Party days are over, but still manage a night out every once in a while. Looking for a home, not just a place to keep my things. I get along well with people who share similar interest, people who are open and honest, and those who don't take themselves too seriously. I like living in a relaxed at home. Open to sharing a meal when suits, but flexible with life's other commitments. I come with my adorable French Bulldog, who will never turn down a belly rub. He stays outside during the day (he sleeps for most of it!), then inside when I get home. It's hard not to love his quirks, but being a dog person is must.
Hi Guys, My name is Chloe, I'm 26 from London. I lived between Melbourne and Sydney for two years in 2013 - 2015 and have decided to come back for a years working holiday with the possibility of permanently relocating. I will be arriving on the 30th December (right in time for a good NYE party!) and am looking for a place to stay either in Melbourne CBD, Brunswick, Fitzroy, Richmond or Port Melbourne. I would consider other areas but they are my preference purely because I am familiar with those areas. My Partner from the UK will potentially be joining me around February time (not 100% confirmed yet) but for the first few months at least I will be riding solo, so am looking for a cool bunch of people to hang out with. Im a fairly private person at home as in I like to have my own double room and bathroom however I love having a housemate who is up for shared dinners and a glass of wine every now and again. I love cooking, cinema, meals out, yoga, travelling, a night out on the town occasionally and love love love weekend brunching. Ideally would like to live in a house with no more than 2 other house mates :) Please message me if you have a suitable room available or would like to buddy up
We are just awesome! We are currently in Melbourne looking for a place asap, in saying that we have an airbnb from 24-26th November also. So can be a little flexible with days for the right place. I am 27, love my sport, fitness, health and love meeting new people. I am really laid back and love to keep clean and respectful. I have lived in share houses before and also managed one myself on the Gold Coast. Feel free to check out my Facebook, that will give you a great idea of the type of person i am. :) My partner is 24 from France, speaks fluent English, super respectful and great fun. No issues at all. Respectful of others and easy to get along with. I am happy to pay a few weeks rent up front or whatever you need to do. Money isn't an issue. I am preferring a furnished room, as we are coming with nothing, bit if it isn't im sure i can get a bed and mattress if needed. If suits, i would love to have a chat or maybe even a skype if that suits better. We are free all today (22nd Nov) and Tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday Before 10.30 to check out a place. Feel free to call me anytime if this suits.
My name is Isabella and I am originally from the United States. I recently completed my undergrad from Columbia College Chicago where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Business. I will be moving to Melbourne mid/end of January with a work/holiday visa and I am very excited for the new adventure. I have several friends spread out throughout the city -- but I am looking for a space to call my own during my year in Australia. I am easy-going, tidy, very social, and always on the move-- I will most likely be working a few jobs during my time in Melbourne-- I honestly don't intend on spending a whole lot of time at home (I love filling up my days with activities and being outside). I enjoy trying out new restaurants, going out to drinks with friends, staying physically active, and getting lost (haha that's the best way to find the coolest places). Truly excited for this year ahead and looking forward to meeting you X
Hey Guys, I'm looking for somewhere where I can set up shop with some rad individuals hopefully around the listed areas, but open to suggestions. Migrating from Brisbane 4+ years ago I am a pretty chilled out guy, big pet lover, Rugby fella with the addition of occasional sporadic furniture making, Friday afternoon drinks and my complied list of the best beer and burger combos in Melbourne (subjectively opinionated) and I am house trained so you can expect all the good stuff of a quality housemate. Currently working as a PM/Estimator (Mon-Fri) while looking to further myself within the electrical industry. I am always down for a hang or a cheeky pint and will often grab my camera and go on an adventure until I get lost But eventually find myself back home with some pretty wicked stories. I'd love to hear about you if you think I might be a good fit :) Good luck with the hunt!
