I'm looking for a room or to start up a share house with people. I'm Steve and I work in FMCG brand management. I recently moved to Melbourne to take the role. I'm easy going and generally like to have a chat and a drink/meal with flatmates, but I also know when people need their own space. I keep fairly active and ride to work most days. I'm a buddy photographer, a bit of a foodie and generally enjoy doing anything in a social environment. I'm a tidy flatmate and definitely do my fair share of the housework. I'm looking for flatmates with a similar mind set. Easy going, like to socialise and are working professionals. The room needs to be unfurnished (I have all my own stuff). Ideally I'd like to stay around the $250/week mark, but can go up to $300 for the right place. I'm also happy to consider a longer than 6 months. Hit me up if you want to know more or are interested in starting a share house/have a room.
I'm a 29 year old American guy that has just finished backpacking in Asia for a year and now I'm settling in Melbourne for awhile. I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months, potentially longer. I worked in IT for 4 years in Chicago but I'm currently in search of cafe work (hopefully day hours). I'm laid back, considerate, keep things clean and have been told that I'm a very easy person to live with. I enjoy running, biking, and cooking. I'm not a huge party person, but definitely enjoy a few drinks after work and the occasional night out. Since I'm new to the city it would be great to become friends with my future flatmates but it's not a must.
I am a English nurse a non smoker who is very clean, tidy and respectful. I work hard and enjoy my days off. I am a mature professional but young at hard and easy going and always up for laugh. I am new to Melbourne and not 100% sure of the areas yet but wanting to share with 1 other non smoker somewhere nice near a beach and not to far away from the City. Ideally i would like a house with a pool and bbq area (not an apartment) but it is not essential.
I'm Haley. Currently I am working full time as a Personal Assistant. I'm 23 years old and I'm looking for a place to call home. I work from 8-6 everyday and have weekends off. On my weekends I try and hang out outdoors. I will either be exercising, at the markets, cooking, catching up with girlfriends or just relaxing at home. I also have family and friends in Bendigo as I am originally from there so I travel home quite a bit. I am relatively quiet, very easy going, relaxed, respectful and clean. Living in a clean and tidy house is really important to me so I would like to live with someone who has the same mindset, please do not contact me if you cannot put your dishes away and leave your stuff lying around the house. I am looking for a flatmate that I can become friends with and share the occasional dinner/brunch and a laugh, but also someone that likes their own space and independance. At this stage I am looking for a place for about 6 months but if I can find a place that feels like home I will stay for longer if possible.
Hi I'm matt, I'm 26 I work full time as a plumber by trade .I'm mindful and respectful of other people. I'm a very clean neat and tidy person. I'm easy going and pretty easy to get along with. I'd say I'm fairly open minded respectful and educated on political views religious beliefs and all that sort of stuff. I'm very upfront and honest. I can be quite social but also will keep to myself at times as I work long hours and my job can be quite stressful at times so I'll just come home and want to switch off for awhile but I'm also happy to share a meal or have a beer or wine every now and then aswell. Preferably after something with off street parking and own bathroom ensuite

I am a laid back, down to earth, happy and sociable individual. I love sharing meals with friends (I can cook!), binge watching new Netflix series (let's find a series to watch together!), exploring new bars/restaurants/cafes, hanging out with friends, doing yoga, drawing, hitting the beach, doing cultural things like checking out art exhibitions, and am always up for an adventure. I would love to live in a house that is also a home, and to hang out with my fellow housemate(s), but also respect other people's space and alone time! I am also fully able to clean and do household chores - thought that was worth mentioning too! I'm 23 and I am here from England! I've just started a full time job in a branding agency in the CBD and finding a house is next on my 'settle-down-in-Melbourne' list!
I am 27 years old, work full time (9-5, Mon- Fri) in marketing for an IT company. I have been living in Melbourne for three years and have several years' shared house experience. I am very easygoing and tidy. I like doing sports and hang out with friends to explore the good coffee and restaurant on weekends. Besides, I don't mind play guitar and cook yum Chinese food for my future housemates. Hope I can meet awesome housemate here. Thanks !
Sean and I are from England. We are in Australia on a 1 yr holiday working/visa and will be spending 6 months, at least, working/living in Melbourne. Sean is a barista and I am a baker of cakes 👨🏻👩🏾🍳☕️🍰🍩 Our budget is $300-400 pw and we're looking to move as soon as possible! We are an easy going couple and our main interests include; food, music, cartoons, cake (Karishma), video games (Sean) and more food. We like our home to be a place to chill (not a party house) and to socialise over a beer or three with our pals at pubs 🍻 We respect our flatmates space and are clean/tidy.
My name is Patrick Nicoll. I'm 24 years old and a full time Investment Analyst working in the city. I finished studying at the end of 2015 and decided to travel for a year; to New Zealand, America and Western Europe and have just returned to Australia and am looking for a place to call home for the next year to two years. A bit about me! I am an easy-going, relaxed, friendly and social person but also enjoy my own independence and space. I love jazz (I particularly enjoy going to all the great jazz clubs in Melbourne), film (I particularly have a taste for experimental stuff!), travelling, hiking, and trying all the new food spots in and around Melbourne. I also love to chat about economics and politics - I'm a bit of a debater when it comes to most things! - , but I am well aware many find it to be rather dull!!
Hey there! Recently my priorities have started revolving around cooking, music and writing. Recently a friend of mine said I'm a guy who is always up for anything so I can be a lot of fun. I love to relax and enjoy the comforts of a home as well.
I don't build houses, I build homes... now I just need my own. 23 years old, moving Down from Sydney for work. I'm a builder with a large construction company. Keen on somewhere with good vibes.
Hey Team, I'm looking for a nice place to call home!! I'm looking for a drama free place to call home, with clean and tidy, easy going house mate. A little about me: I am an artist, in my early 30s. I'm respectful, quite and easy going person. I love to have a chat and cup of tea with my house mates but I do like my own space and spend a lot of time doing art. I like to hanging with friends, going to gigs, dinners and traveling. I also enjoying sunshine and picnics (when you can in Melbourne lol) I am very well house trained including paying bills and rent on time. I'm looking for the right place with really great people to live with. I can move in when ever the room is available, I don't have pets and I don't smoke. Let me know if you would like to meet and have a chat. Karen
Hi, my name is Sotara. I am a Registered Nurse who is trustworthy, down to earth and reliable. I have no pets (I do love animals), single (unfortunately), and not much of a party person but don't mind having a few drinks and a bit of fun on non-working days. I like to have a good laugh but respect people's space and privacy. I treat people how I'd like to be treated. I would like to move into a room/home with a family/friendly vibe. I am looking at moving in around the 16th of April for a minimum time of 3 months into a comfortable place where I can call home. Please contact me if you think I fit your description. Any other questions just ask!
I'm Jack, a fit, sports loving male from Hobart, Tasmania. I have lived in Melbourne before and loved the city and am fortunately getting the chance to relocate back for work, having lived in Brisbane for the past few years. I am clean and respectful and believe in courteous behaviour towards neighbours and co-housemates. -- Ideally would love a one bedroom to myself if anyone is looking to sublet. A car space would be ideal but no a necessity.
Hey! We're a young couple who loves to play video games, go out and be social. We're clean, enjoy cooking and love animals (but have none of our own). I'm working casually and will be returning to uni in a few months, so we are looking for a place where we can hang out during the day, binge watch some netflix or make some cookies. We don't mind a bit of housemate interaction but respect privacy of others. Bonus points for a dishwasher, heating and aircon. We come with our own bedroom furniture so we're flexible about furnishing. Slide into our dms ;)
Hi,This is Minami. I am Japanese. I'm looking for a private room. Included all bills and Internet.About200pw. I don't understand English very much. But I can speak hard. I like Fashion, music, movies etc... I will be waiting to contacts from nice guys! Thankyou.
I consider myself a really easy going and friendly person, who loves to spend time with friends, go to markets, see plays, art, movies and go exploring in the area for delicious food. I'm also a big fan of yoga, bike riding and dancing around the house. I work 30-35 hours a week at a gelato store called Messina, so if you love gelato, i'm always in great supply! I'm also vegetarian but am not bothered if others cook meat in the house. Ideally, i'm after a place with lovely people who I can have a great chat to and good laugh with. I love my own space but i'm always open to have a chat, hang out and come together to make dinner together. I'm clean and tidy but am generally just happy to go with the flow of the house. :~)
Hi, My name ist Matthias and I am a 24-year old student from Germany. I'm searching for a room to stay in from 7 April until the end of August this year. I will be doing research on my master's thesis in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Melbourne. My hobbies include running, skiing, volleyball and I also would like to learn some new sports as well as see as much of Australia as possible! I would describe myself as open, friendly and uncomplicated. I don't have any pets or dietary restrictions. I would prefer a single room to myself because I will be working full time on my research. However, I am looking forward to communicating and engaging in activities with my potential flatmates! If you want to rent your room starting at the 1 April, I would be okay with it! I'm looking forward to hearing from You! Cheers, Matthias
21. Lots of share house experience. Like to be friends with housemates and catch up occasionally but I'm not in your face and I'm very into respecting people's privacy
I'm a respectful person, engaged in a busy life, looking for a quiet and peaceful sanctuary to call home. I have a stable, long-term work situation and study part-time. I value my independence and currently enjoy living on my own, however now that I have gone back to uni this year, I need to adjust my living arrangements to suit my new lifestyle.

A little about me- I'm a triplet, I'm studying psychology and criminology (no I cant read your mind but for $5 ill try really hard) and I once ate so much chocolate as a kid I had to go to hospital. I would love to live with some fun people who wouldn't mind a cat in the house, and another human-sized cat (me) to hang out with :)

Hey! I'm a Canadian (from Toronto) travelling through Australia and decided I loved Melbourne so much I have to stay for a while. I'm running my own small company in the sustainable fashion space but also working full time. I'm very used to sharing space with other people so I'm very easy going, open minded and respectful. I love to cook healthy food, be active (running, yoga, hiking) and explore local events. I also eat a predominantly vegetarian diet so if you don't want meat in the house I have no problem with that.

I relocated for work and to start up an office from Sydney 8 months ago for and currently living in Brunswick East in a 1BD Apartment. I am looking to move out and move in with someone from Melbourne and/or looking for a flatmate. After settling in nicely to Melbourne, I've decided to make this city my home. I'm respectable. clean and a non-smoker. I like to keep quiet during the week as I work full time and I don't mind the occasional outing for a drink or dinner.
Hey! How are you guys doing? I am Dutchie (from the Netherlands), finished my Master's last summer and am now traveling the world. However, I ran out of money so I need to work... and during my last travel in South-America everybody recommended me Melbourne (seriously, I have not heard a bad word about it thus far), so I am very excited to go there mid April. After work and in the weekends I love to do/watch sports, such as basketball, and football, preferably in combination with a beer/wine/rum/anythingthatcointainsalcohol and I am always in for a party. Futhermore, I would love to live in a house with other outgoing people that like to do things together such as cooking/dining, trips and party. Don't hesitate to contact me and let's plan a skype-meeting so we can get to know each other!
My name is Daniel, I am 27 years old, I study a Masters degree in RMIT and work half-time in Starbucks. I am from Mexico. I like to hangout with friends, watch comedy shows on the internet, cook a little for myself. I tend to prefer organic stuff over artificial and chemical stuff. I am originally from India but last 10 yrs have been overseas including UK, Sydney and now Melbourne.
Hi there! We are a Canadian couple (Cait and Ramey) and an English lad (Alex) who have spent the last six weeks in Wentworth trying to make a dent in our 88 days of regional work. As the season is drawing to a close and work drying up, the three of us are ready to leave hostel life behind for a few weeks and come back to the city. I (Cait) am a teacher registered with a supply agency in Melbourne as well as an experienced bartender and barista, Ramey has worked in the service industry for 7+ years, and Alex has just received his white card to work construction. The three of us are kind, courteous, NEAT, and (if I do say so myself) quite fun to be around. We're liberal, queer/LGBTQ+ friendly, avid readers, and pun wizards (well, at least Ramey is). Our big party days are behind us, but we do enjoy a few social beverages here and there. We also love a good game; card games, board games, dice games, charades...you get the picture. After a month and a half of living in a hostel, we are all looking forward to having a little slice of our own space, but aren't the types to just hole up in our rooms whenever we're home. We are looking for two furnished rooms available for roughly six weeks as of April 7-ish, and are hoping to pay about $200/person/week or less. Obviously the world will not bend to our will, so we are expecting to have to be a little flexible. If you think that sounds like what you have and you're looking for three people that sound like us, shoot me a message and let's work something out! Cait (and Ramey and Alex)
Im from good ol 'Murica, studying child care and development at a private college in the city. When im not studying, I'm nannying 3 munchkins and working an amazing cafe in fitzroy, or an amazing resturant off brunswick st. Other than that, i try to maintain a social life in between. Loves: cooking new meals, baking, netflixing, wineing or beering, paying bills on time, cleaning up after myself and making the house look ahhmazing, and every dog i ever meet (and cats, if they let me 🤗) Dislikes: people who clip their toenails in public and the word moist. Pretty busy lifestyle, but always happy to chat! Lived in share houses before, so definitely not my first rodeo :)
Hey everybody A little about me I'm 26 and female have recently got out of an abusive relationship so Im pretty keen to find some good chilled people to live with, currently I receive a pension for medical reasons so no job but I still do have the money , and I am also a smoker of both tobbaci and the green thumb variety, I also have a Little poochie she's 7 and very small and very awesome , very arty myself wanting to do more but limited because of circumstance anyway I think that might be it without going into an epic novel life story lol gimme a hey if your interested in having me as a flatmate Jess
Shared accommodation is actually preferred as I enjoy to live a fun and social life with good surroundings. I'm an easy going, mindful and respectful guy who works hard and enjoys life outside of work also. As a sub-contractor, I take on work as it comes which leaves me with not having a permanent routine. Though in my spare time I enjoy DJing and producing music, though I am respectful towards privacy and being respectful with my hobbies and social life to maintain a happy and stress free living environment also. I like to live and maintain a clean and healthy living environment, enjoy meeting new people and socializing with friends. If you have any further questions, feel free to message me. Thanks. Michael.
Hi there! My name is Elysia and I'm bubbly, busy, and respectful person. I'm a traveling sales consultant so I work from home 2 days a week, and the rest I am out and about. Let me know if you want to know anything else about me!
We are friendly, sociable girls from Newcastle, England looking for a flat to rent for up to 6 months within Melbourne and the surrounding areas. We are currently looking for a full time job so will be out of the flat most days. We both like to go out and socialize on the weekend but also enjoy a cozy night in with a pizza! :) Please contact us if you think we sound like your kind of girls! :)
Hi there potential new roomies :-) I am in the look out for a private room in a positive and respectful share house. I am fully house trained, easy going and responsible when it comes to paying rent on time. I am very happy to provide previous real estate references if needed for piece of mind. I enjoy yoga, travelling and horse riding . I work as a Campus trainer at an RTO in the city. I am sociable but enjoy my quiet times at home also. I am looking to live with people who are house proud, friendly and don't mind having dinner on weeknights over a good banter. Thank you ☺️
About to finish working in the bush up in Kununurra. North W.A in the Kimberly. I don't mind socialising but can also keep to myself. Haven't lined up work in Melbourne yet but have a fairly healthy nest egg saved up (Not much spending in the bush!) Clean up after myself and all that. Don't know what else to say really so any questions just ask. Also have a ute so can be mercilessly used for moving and picking up stuff! Looking forward to being back in the city and sharing stories.
Hey Teamers! I am working full-time and am a professional human. I moved down from Newcastle, NSW at the start of the year and am looking for someone to share a house with that is cool and easy to be around. I'm pretty relaxed about most things, and am clean and tidy. I don't mind getting down to do housework and can cook semi-reasonably. I don't mind a night or two out at the pub and would love someone to hang out with me whenever I do have a beer or wine. I play music and love listening to and trading music discoveries with people. I am reliable at paying bills and have a good rental history. It would be tops if you think you and I would be great housemates, so let me know! Thanks, AT
Sarah and Mackenzie are searching for two separate bedrooms in a flat or house to live for the next 3-6 months while on a working holiday visa. We hope to find temporary work within the first couple weeks of our arrival date (March 21), but we are looking for accommodation ASAP. Our budget is $250 per person per week. We met in college and have stayed close friends since graduation while we were both working full-time. We are very easy to get along with, very clean/tidy, enjoy the outdoors, fitness, cooking, music festivals, and going on adventures. We prefer St. Kilda, CBD, or other surrounding neighborhoods and can be flexible on price depending on location. Please message if interested or have any questions. Cheers!
Heya! I'm an ESL teacher, originally from California. I LOVE my job (career). I also love yoga, and plan to do my teacher training later this year. I'm studying massage in the CBD and have class once a week at the weekend. Javier is from Spain; he's a chef by trade, but is studying video game design! We're both pretty nerdy in our own ways. We like to be social, but we also like to have our time for us. I work M-R, during the day; he's studying the same days. He works a few nights during the week and works weekend nights as well, so we haven't got too much time to spend together during the week. When we're at home, we like to cook dinner (he cooks, I clean), watch Netflix, play games (our collection of games in Australia is slowly growing), and read. We are NOT huge partiers. I am, however, a member of a wine club and order a case of wine every couple of months. I am often down to share a glass of wine and a chat. We like to go to the cinema or to the park. Both of us love to be around nature. We're in Australia for a few more years, so we'd like to find a place that is our HOME, not just a place to live.
I am a neat and clean Architect working in the CBD. I am also an easy going with a good sense of humour. Happy to be social as well give people space to do their own thing, not a hermit. I have a car, so I will be looking for a place which as parking or free street parking.
Hey! My name is Madeleine. I’m a 25 year old from Sweden who just moved to Melbourne from Gothenburg and I’m now looking for a room in a flatshare. For the last three years I’ve been studying psychology at the university of Gothenburg. I’ve now decided to take some time of uni and spend a year or two in Melbourne before I continue with my master in clinical psychology. I will be working in the restaurant/café business. I Like to keep myself active and usually I spend my spare time hanging out with friends, go to the gym or reading a good book. I like indie, rock and electronic music. I’m up for partying and bar hangouts. Also I enjoy wining and dining and cooking occasionally. I’m an easy going, social person but I don’t take up too much space. Kindest, Madeleine
We are a couple of introverted performing artists who love the outdoors, reading, film, cooking, spirituality and exploring. Very easy going and we value kindness, compassion, honesty and openness. We have a well-behaved cat also. We would love to hear from anyone offering temporary accommodation, sub-lets, or a two-bedroom places. Many thanks! :)
I'm 22 and in July 2016 I moved to Melbourne from Perth, where I finished studying and started work writing for a newspaper and as a part-time Dj. I moved to Melbourne to get more into music and study part-time, but only lasted two days at uni before dropping out to focus more on music and writing and other interests. I'm very content in Melbourne and am here to stay for a while. I'm always seen myself as easy to get along with. I like meeting people from all walks of life, but particularly enjoy getting to know and talking to those with similar interests to me. I'd like to live with others who are empathetic and generally respectful. I like doing lots of things and am always open to exploring more activities attitudes, but I particularly like music, health-awareness, writing, friends, being outdoors, discussions about interesting things, etc. Please get in touch with any questions or for general chats. Thank you! Jacob
Hi there Here I am, a young professional (working in a law firm) who is moving from Sydney beach life (yeah, weather was not great recently) to an art and food capital of down under. I am looking for a room minimum for 6 weeks maximum.. depends. It's hard to understand what the place looks like and the vibe of it through the pictures and I don't want to promise a long stay and then to leave. I am a very social person, loving meeting new people, share the stories and laugh but I understand when is the right time not to disturb and sometimes require time for myself. Ideally I would love to stay in a tidy lovely house/apartment close to the station/tram stop with a lovely atmosphere and great people.
Hello! I'm a vet student, new to Melbourne. I'm great to live with because I'm quiet, clean, and respectful. Definitely not a party animal, but I enjoy a nice glass of beer or wine at the end of the day. I cherish my own space at times, but would also like to have flatmates that I can chat with or who can introduce me to the cool places around town. I'm hoping to team up with a person (or a couple) who loves animals but can't have their own. I can help you out with that! I have a cat and a dog that are not yet in Melbourne, but hopefully will be soon (as soon as I found the right housemates). I'm fairly flexible with location, as long as it is relatively easy to get to Melbourne Uni. My move-in date is also flexible. I'm also happy to consider a room in an existing house as long as my pets are welcome too. They are both quiet, trained, and sweet!
Hey! I am a student and i'm hoping to team up with other students to get a lease for a house. Please feel free to get in touch. Im also keen on moving into a shared house which is already set up. “Know thyself? If I knew myself, I'd run away.” Jk. I'm quite open minded, respect a person's space and I pay my bills on time. Im responsible enough to not be the cause of any unnecessary inconvenience. I would be delighted if we (everyone out there), could possibly work something out! Thanks!
I just arrived in Melbourne and am currently looking for a room. Shortly, I am French and I am 23. I study cultural communication in Paris and I have decided to work in Melbourne for a long term job in Alliance francaise of Melbourne where I'll be in charge of promoting French artists. What I love above all is art, laughing and meeting people from everywhere. Last year, I made an academic exchange in Berlin for 6 months and I truly think it was the best experience I ever had. I get used to live in flatshares with basic rules such as respect or cleanliness. I'm an easy going girl, when I'm not working I usually like to spend the day relaxing at home or discovering new places but as Melbourne will be fairly new to me, I will be doing a lot of getting to know the beautiful area ! I'm flexible to meet you when it suits you 🙂
