Hello, I'm a French girl willing to discover Melbourne and Australia. I'm on a travelling year with another friend. I'm easy going and like clean places. I would say that I'm a social introvert. I do love eating and going out (always up for a drink) but I like having time for myself and do nothing but watching movies, series or listening to music.
I have been sharing a townhouse with 11 other people from mixed nationalities. I'm easy to get along with, clean, organised, considerate and good fun to live with. I'm quite social and friendly but I also enjoy my own space. My hobbies include listening to music, motorsports, reading about cars, tech, and into exploring new places and enjoying little things in life. I recently just finished my masters in business administration and working full time in my field. I am still settling in and looking for the right bunch of flatmates.
I am 22 and work hospo in Fitzroy. I keep clean and pick up after myself, good at paying bills on time and being respectful of other house mates. Keep relatively to myself but do enjoy getting amongst house activities. Hoping to pay a maximum of $200 p/w rent. Looking for a comfortable home with people I can get on with. Let me know if you're interested. Cheers!
Greetings :) We are a young professional same-sex couple seeking a teamup for a roomy shared townhouse (or such) in Melbourne, Carlton/ Carlton North or inner East/ North Melbourne. We are both comfortable, clean, easy-going, and love good chats and a bit of fun every now and then but also really value some down-time and rest after a long day of work. We currently live in a cosy apartment in South Yarra, our lease is ending on the 15th of May and we wish to secure a place by early-mid April at the latest. What kind of home we are looking to share: Our main goals with our new home is to reduce the amount of rent we are paying currently and have a bigger home with a roomy backyard and living area. We are looking to team up with 2 other people (don't mind couples) for a 3 bedroom house/ townhouse. Our main requirements are a minimum of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (preferably ensuites), a backyard, for the location to be within 10-20km of Melbourne CBD, divided rent up to $600 per week (exc bills). We have an adorable fluffy feline son named Wilbur who is about 6.5 years old, he is a very calm and well-natured cat. His only activities include intermittently switching from deep sleeping, intense eating and purry snuggling. He is incredibly comfortable and loving with new people, clean, and very self-sufficient. He does occasionally want to play and have a bit of a run around but his most loved activity is curling up to sleep. A little bit about us: We both have full-time 9-5 jobs during the week and prefer quiet evenings during the week, occasionally having dinners with friends every now and then but that is the most we do on weeknights - reserving most of our going out/ socializing and such to weekends. We have a good small bunch of close friends who we love seeing as often as time and energy permits. We love a bit of a boogie once or twice a month whether it be in the form of a cosy little house party or a 5 day doof out in the bush. Despite this, we aren't huge party animals and strongly value a good work, rest, play balance. As housemates, we love cleanliness but also understand that with full-time work and a busy lifestyle sometimes a pristine, perfect home is not always achievable. This is absolutely okay with us but we would always ensure that a thorough clean-up is done at least once a week. We also love a friendly environment at home, having a chat over a smoke, tea or wine once in a while but some nights we just want to retreat into the couch or our bedroom and sleep or binge watch Netflix or documentaries. We also love plants, candles, incense, art, all kinds of music and prefer eating a predominantly cruelty-free, vegan diet. What we are looking for in housemates: - a reliable, honest and compassionate person - transparency and trust-worthiness - MUST be LGBTIQ+ friendly and aware - relatively clean and cat friendly - easy-going, open-minded, well read and responsible - someone who matches similarly to our profile, has a sound work, rest, play balance What we don't want in housemates: - excessive drinking, partying, etc - expectations to socialize all the time - cat allergies/ dislike If this sounds like you or we sound like people you would see yourself living with - hit us up with a little bit about yourself, include your favorite film or song and why you love it. Happy house hunting x
Hey there! My name's Maria, I come from Spain and I'm 28. I'm starting a PhD at the Doherty Institute here in Melbourne and I'm looking for a warm place to live. I'll be working full-time during weekdays and I'll probably have to work at home, but I enjoy chatting while drinking some wine or beer in my free time, watching netflix, reading... I enjoy some time alone as well, but I'm overall a social, joyful and positive person who likes spending time with her mates. I'm a quite active person, I love doing sport and attending to dance classes and I like having a healthy lifestyle. I'm also very tidy and respectful. Just message me if I sound like someone you'd like as a mate and hopefully friend and confident!:))
I'm a creative and musical individual who loves to eat and laugh with friends. Having lived by myself for a while, I'm great at adulting - including paying rent/bills on time and keeping the house clean. I'm sociable, but very independent so value alone time. I'm looking for a reasonable sized bedroom and a secure back-yard for Indy. Indy is a small, 8 year old Chi-Hound (Dachshund x Chihuahua). He is super friendly and polite; at the moment he comes to work with me most of the time. For the past couple of years I have been managing an artisan jewellery business. I'm pretty relaxed and quiet during the week, but I love to go out dancing.
I'm a theatre lover working in Arts Marketing. When not working, you'll find me at the theatre, a bookstore, a gig or gallivanting around Melbourne's restaurants. I travel fairly often.
I love to cook, I am a musician and active climber and am keen to get a locals view of Melbourne. It is my second stop in Australia and my first time to the country. I'm working Melbourne Comedy Fest.
Hi, my name is Noona 😊 I have moved from Western Australia about 5 months ago for my studies. I'm a full time student studying naturopathy in the city but also work at the cherry tree hotel helping me be very reliable with money and bills etc. I'm 29years old and have travelled the world for 10 years gaining me the experience of good house sharing etiquette. I tend to like my environment clean and fresh with lots of nature and plants about...plus I have a wonderful crystal collection to bring good vibes to the household. I like to believe I bring happiness and light to all those around me and am falways willing to share my alternative therapy (massage, iridology, meditation, and natural medicine) with the household. I also own a beautiful VW kombi van so awesome adventures can be had in that too!! I'm not a massive party animal but enjoy a small shin dig/ BBQ here and there. I'm a big animal lover and like to volunteer/dog sit from time to time so a pet friendly pad would be ideal but I don't have any pets of my own so have my options open. Hopefully I am the house mate you are looking for but if not i hope you find who your looking for 🙏🏼 Thanks so much. Peace and light, Noona
Hey people, I'm looking for a room up to 300$/pw. It should be close to a tram or train station. As I will move out of my current place on 15th April, I need to move in immediately 🙂 About myself: I am very active, like to cook, travel or meet my friends to hang out or a night out. Also, I love to go to the gym or enjoy the amazing weather at the beach. I am very open minded, sociable and easy going. Also very tidy/non smoker. Happy to hear from you! Caro
My name is Matt, I'm from Manchester in the U.K. I'm very easy going, easy to chat to, very clean and organised and always up for making new friends. If my housemates generally wanted to keep a chilled environment or a crazy one, either is fine by me! I work part time in Melbourne Central and also DJ on the side. I don't mind any kind of living scenario, I just want to get out of hostels and meet some new people!
Hello - I'm Catriona, 27 yo, Female, working full-time near the airport (never know what to write in these things!)... I like to think myself as a social go getter. Yet at the same time, I am also happy to do my own thing. I work full time, which means I usually like to kick back during the week. However, I am also partial to impromptu BBQ's and a cheeky wine every now and then. I also have great fun trying to convince myself that I'm a health enthusiast; enjoy running... My current housemate is sadly looking to move a little too far for my work commute. So sadly, this means that we will need to part ways. Keen to find somewhere close to the Thornbury area (I just love it). Would be happy to do a team up, or come and check out a space. I come with a few house hold items, though not much. A hammock, and a BBQ - because, really, what else do you need? Look forward to hearing from you.
I'M looking for a fab house/apartment to move into with some chill people. I'd like somewhere sooner rather than later, but am pretty flexible with moving dates. I'm looking for somewhere I can call home. I'm not home very much as I like to keep myself busy, but when I am I like to enjoy my space and keep things tidy and clean. I'm not too fussed on anything else. At the moment I'm just working full time in hospo in the city, but will begin studying fashion merchandising at RMIT mid year. Other than that I like to create, make, photograph things when I find the time. I like having a good time and go out and socialise with friends at bars etc. a bit. I'm usually quiet coming home though and don't really bring the party back to the house. I do also enjoy going to festivals and try to go to gigs when I'm not working. Im all about good times and chill vibes so I'm not too keen on unnecessary drama or negativity. I'll give you your space if you want it, but I will also be there to chat/throw banter/chill with. So if you're cool with that then hmu pls xox

Hey! We're a young couple who loves to play video games, go out and be social. We're clean, enjoy cooking and love animals (but have none of our own). I'm working casually and will be returning to uni in a few months, so we are looking for a place where we can hang out during the day, binge watch some netflix or make some cookies. We don't mind a bit of housemate interaction but respect privacy of others. Bonus points for a dishwasher, heating and aircon. We come with our own bedroom furniture so we're flexible about furnishing. Slide into our dms ;)
I'm going to ACU so I prefer to live close to the tram stop or train station or perhaps can ride bike (less than 20 minutes) to my uni.
I work full time in IT and recently moved to Melbourne from Perth. I'm easygoing, very quite, respectful, clean, sociable and well versed in share house living. I can offer several references from past housemates I previously lived with in Perth. I have a car so I am looking for some kind of parking.
Amanda and I are in our mid to late twenties looking for a whole property to lease. We are reliable, clean, hard working women who work full time. Available date is flexible.
My name is Teresa, I am from Germany originally and have been living in Australia since March last year. I`m looking for some lovely people to live with who don`t mind doing things together occasionally as a household, and would enjoy going out for a beer or watching a movie together. That being said I love to have time to myself, watching a movie or reading. So having some alone time is important as well. I`m house trained and have lots of share house experience. I`m Vegetarian (trying to be as vegan as possible), but I don`t wave flags about it. LGBT friendly, pet friendly. I`m big into movies, coffee and art as well as road trips and exploring. Please feel free to contact me!
HEY GUYS! Katie, 18, carpenter. I'm super fun but also enjoy relaxing by myself. I'm the girl with a Jeep Wrangler and loves anything adventurous. I have had to look after myself since 14 so I’m not your typical 18 year-old as I’m extremely independent. I’m more then happy to help out with cooking as I enjoy making yummy food and I clean up after myself. I worked at Grill'd for over a year so i can make the best burgers you'll ever eat! Don't smoke Allergic to cats LOVE DOGS I'm looking for a house with a few people in it that are positive, friendly and would see each other as a friend, not just people who rent rooms in the same house! I'm super happy all the time and just love having a laugh.
