I am a mature and responsible 28 year old Canadian woman looking to have an incredible experience in Australia. I currently live alone in downtown Toronto and have never had a problem retaining employment and paying bills. I'm looking for a break from my current life in my home city before entering a new university program in September 2018. I have been working in the hospitality industry for quite some time now, and intend and holding down a solid job during my stay in Australia. Aside from that, I have plenty of money saved up to ensure that I can make the most of my working holiday. Looking forward to a change of pace and hopefully a change of perspective!
Hey, I just finished my master's from Latrobe and looking for a nice place to live. I am really chill to hang with and respectful of another person's property and personal space. I am into all kinds of Sports and enjoy a Bev once in a while and would like to have a nice chat and a laugh with the people I live with :)
I am really easy going and tidy. I work Monday to Friday 9-5 and usually gym outside those hours. I am looking to begin a masters so I will likely be studying if at home or taking care of my Rabbits. I have two rabbits Alfy and Cookie who I take good care off. They live outdoors in a self contained area. I love animals, health and fitness, brunch and meditation. I enjoy a chat in the evenings and also happy to give others space.
Looking to start a new place, got a bunch of cool furniture that I'd like to deck the place out with. Prefer somewhere with a backyard for sunny fun timez. About me: - laid-back, open-minded - full-time drug and alcohol worker in the north east - studying Master of Counselling - dance classes, gigs, and nature walks in my spare time - have lived in share houses for a fair while so familiar with the loo roll buying/dish-washing dealio - big on recycling
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.

My name is Maddy, I'm 25 and will be moving from the Gold Coast to Melbourne in Feb 2018 to study a Master of Psych at Monash in Clayton. I'll also be looking for a casual job. I'm looking for a friendly share house to move in to. I'd like to move in with people who are keen to hang out and have a good time. I only know a few people in Melbourne so a social household will be a great start. I'm a friendly, social and open person. If you think I'd be a good fit for your house and want me to come round and check it out in Feb, let me know :)
Hi! My name is Anne, I'm a 25 year old Dutchie, moving from Amsterdam to Melbourne for a master's at the University of Melbourne. Besides studying I plan to travel a lot to explore the most I can of Australia while I'm there! I'm quite the busy bee (traveling, sports, soaking up some local culture) so I probably won't be home that often, but I do like to have house nights, drink a glas of wine or beer, watch a movie or share a meal with roommates!
Moving to Melbourne and know no one, just jumping in head first from London - you only live once, right? I'm 27, which sounds scary now it's down on paper. I'm a secondary school English teacher and have just been granted a permanent residency. I am arriving on the 17th of March but happy to start tenancy a bit earlier, just in terms of having peace of mind that accommodation is sorted. I decided to move in March to coincide with Term Two, so I should begin working within a few weeks of arriving. I plan to do relief work while I get settled and then move on to a more permanent role. I'm clean, tidy, responsible, dependable, try to do one nice thing a day - an adult basically. I'll probably be knackered most nights and just want a night in front of the tv. So no loud music or house parties, of my making anyway! Equally though, knowing absolutely nobody I'd be grateful for some friendly housemates, who might be able to introduce me to Melbourne and help me get to know some people, just settle in really. It could be fun, being shown the ropes - as long as it doesn't involve too many clubs.
I’m italian, I’m a chef and already been in melb last month for holiday. I fell in love with the city and now I’m coming back to work. I'm 26 and I'm a very clean person, love listening to music, reading books and explore the city. I'm a smoker but want to quit, and love keeping myself busy with gym, work, hanging out.
Just a humble man looking for a place to to live. Happy to socialise in common areas, respect other people’s space. I clean up after myself, and think a general schedule for cleaning is also fair. Pays bills on time. Share house trained. Smoker, outside though.
I'm 18 years old (turning 19 soon) and have lived in a share house for a few months already. I am from Adelaide but moving to Melbourne really soon! I clean up after myself and am respectful of others privacy. I like to socialise and make new friends! I love getting in the outdoors and exercising :) Please feel free to message me! :)

About me : Known for being chilled and independent, I am a 29 year old male who has decided to move closer to work after being offered a new role in one of the University area in melbourne. While everyone needs their own space i won't mind coming out for drinks/food or hanging out every now and then. I like keeping things clean but not a clean freak and like helping around in the house. Love travelling or even a movie nigh at home as well as checking out different Bars and Restaurants. Waiting to hear from you soon. Pranamya AKA Rocky
Hi! I'm Renee and my partner moving with me is Dan. We're looking for a place where we can be comfortable, make some new friends in our house mates and find a new home. We'd love somewhere that has a fun, relaxed atmosphere while still being clean, tidy and functional. We look forward to being able to spend quality time with our new housemates, sharing meals together, bingeing our favourite TV shows, or having a quiet night in playing board games and having a drink or two. We (especially me) love animals and would love it if you did too, a friendly dog or cat around the house would be no problem at all. A bit about us... We're moving down from Sydney as I am soon to start a Master of Genetic Counselling at Melbourne Uni! So I will be studying full time and working part time. Dan is a psychologist, currently working with young people, and will be working full time. As I am moving down for the start of uni I will be arriving from the end of January to mid February (date flexible). Dan will be finishing a few things up here in Sydney and hopefully moving down in March/April. We're both active people who love spending time outside (particularly hiking or bushwalking). I love to read, do fun crafty things like knitting (somehow my projects rarely get finished) and I love cooking/baking (my jams and chutnies are in high demand), I'm also mildly obsessed with dogs. Dan enjoys keeping fit and active (running, boxing classes and hopes to take up bike riding), and then likes to come home to relax watching Netflix or having a good chat. We're both quite left leaning and I'm veg (I guess technically pescatarian as I occasionally eat seafood) and Dan is happy to eat veg a lot of the time although he hasn't quite converted yet. We're also both definitely LQBTIQA+ friendly! If we sound like a good fit for your household please feel free to contact us! We look forward to hearing from you!
I'm looking for a private room around the city, prefer around St Kilda, Southbank, Prahran, Richmond, Carlton etc. I don't really know my way around, but I know that I only want to be travelling like 15 - 20 mins Max on public transport from home to the city. I'll be moving from the Gold Coast in early March to study Dermal Science at Vic Uni in the City. I'm super easy going and not really a party girl but don't mind a sneaky bev or two after a busy week. I'm looking for some friendly house mates who wouldn't mind showing me around a little. I'm visiting on the 18th and 19th of Feb for Uni orientation so would be happy to meet up with potential house mates on either of those days :)
I'm full time Fashion and Textile Merchandising student at RMIT brunswick campus, 22 years old, and my lifestyle is simple , healthy, I like workout, outdoor activities, hang out with friends, I'm looking for nice roommate to share house with,I'm very easy-going person.
My name is Ari, and I am moving from the United States on 15 February to study journalism at the University of Melbourne. I am 23, and completed my Bachelor’s in history from Florida International University last April. I love nature, adventure, arts, and good times. I also love travel, and have been to 19 countries, on 4 continents! As such, I’m really excited to come to Australia, and explore Melbourne and its environs. As I am pursuing a master’s degree, I take my schooling very seriously, and as such, will not be the kind of flatmate to go out partying every night. All the same, I’m definitely the type to want to hang out, get a couple pints, and enjoy all the opportunities Melbourne has on offer. I’m pretty easy going, clean, and responsible (will always pay bills on time). Overall, looking for fun, chill, and responsible flatmates with which to have an awesome first year in Australia. I am available to come see the place from 16 February. Hope to hear from you soon.
Hi there! I'm Cecile, I'm a 23 year-old graphic designer on a working holiday (determined to try and stay permanently!) in Melbourne. I'm mixed French/Japanese, and I speak too many languages for no reason at all. I love to draw and make zines, cook and bake, watching movies and tv shows *and* discussing movies and tv shows. I also love to walk around and I'm a big fan of hiking. I'm also a skilled op-shopper. I am looking for a place that's convenient and easy to access by public transport (I'm incapable of driving), as I plan to look for a job and I want to be able to get places without much hassle. I have preferences for a furnished place (a place that has at least a bed and a closet) since I can't carry any furniture with me from Europe. I like hanging out but I also like to do stuff on my own. I'm always careful to respect shared spaces and keep them clean. Somehow, cleaning is relaxing to me so you don't have to worry about this aspect! I don't I'm arriving in Melbourne on the 15th of February, I'm okay with both short term and long term deals! If all of this sounds good to you, then let's talk!
I'm from Copehagen, Denmark and moving to Melbourne for this coming semester to study at Melbourne University, Parkville! I'm really looking forward to Australia and Melbourne in particular, and would obviously love living with a couple of people, preferably other students! I've always been a very social guy, who's easy to get a long with. I both know how to cook and clean, which should make for some great common dinners!
Hey, I'm a fashion student new in Melbourne. I am super chilled out, outgoing and fun to be around. I also respect personal space so I make a great housemate. I'm also very clean and friendly. Hit me up incase of anything. Cheers.
We are two kiwis who have made the jump over the ditch to set up in Melbourne. Pat is en route from travelling Central America and Liv has started post-graduate studies at Melbourne Uni and is working part-time as a Dentist at the Royal Children's Hospital. We are both into outdoor activities, travelling, eating and meeting new people which is why we would love to move into a house share. We have both lived in shared housing for years and so would like to think that by now we are easy to live with.
Looking to move into a pre-existing share house or start a new one with some cool people. Hey guys, my name is Louise, I'm a 24 year old film student, photographer and musician, I also work part time as a barista. I've been living in share houses for many years now, so I'm completely housetrained, i.e. I know how to keep a place clean and be respectful of housemates and I'm looking to live with people who feel the same. I'm hoping to find somewhere in the northern suburbs (brunswick, northcote, fitzroy, thornbury etc). I'm into music, live gigs, art, food and going out with friends. If you'd like the sound of this post feel free to contact me on here and we can have a chat :).
