I am a postgrad student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Environmental Study; commencing my study in Feb 2017. I previously worked for NGOs focusing on sustainability issues and community and gender-inclusive empowerment programs in Indonesia. I have tangible passion in environmental protection and human right issues especially the queers since I'm gay myself. I Love to travel, read, listen to music and party when it is the right time to do so. I can assure you that I'm an open-minded person and respect differences and diversity because I believe everyone is unique and has a right and freedom to do what make them as a person and of course happy. I'm very tidy and always take a good care of my house. If you require a reference letter from my previous landlord in Perth, I'd be happy to do so. Oh yeah, almost forgot, I love cooking Indonesian cuisines too when I have some spare time and always proud and glad to introduce it to my friends from different background. 🙂 I love to make friends with people from any backgrounds, this was also the reason why I became an Airbnb host when I was in Jakarta. Please feel free to ask me any questions. Cheers, Randi
Working professional, reliable private and friendly female looking to share, preferably in a place that has a courtyard or yard as I have a 9 yo staffy who's super friendly and likes company. He's fully housetrained - so am I lol. Moved back to melbourne for work. I like to chill on wknds seeing family and friends, fairly settled with a routine during the week of work, gym and walking my dog daily. I like to think I live a fairly healthy lifestyle, like cooking from scratch (mum's veggie patch is going to come in handy yay), I'm clean and considerate as have been in a share household for most of my adult life. Don't mind the occasional outing, but prefer dinners with great company. Have some furnishings but not much. Can purchase if needed for a share house that's new. Looking for another person th share with to create a home rather than somewhere to just live. Pls msg if you're looking to look together for a new place also.
Hello potential room mate! My name is Paul, Recently moved to Melbourne from the far north coast of NSW I'm currently working as a chef in a busy cafe in Brunswick east and I'm in need of a new home! Quite a sociable guy i like to relax in my room or catch me outside having a brew! Always down for a chat and a hang but honestly i just want to come home and kick my feet up and have a chill.. Really tidy and always cleaning up after myself. You'll most likely catch me making massive meals for the week or even have a bake off so there will always be a cake or something sweet flying around to eat! I like to get out on my days off and explore the city or hang with friends, I never bring the party home. Thanks for reading, hope to hear from you!
I'm Michael, I'm 34 and work in tech in St Kilda. I'm easy going and great to live with. I'm well experienced in share-housing. If you like I can provide references from my current housemates. I'm clean, organised and always able to cover bills. I go to the gym, make mobile apps in my spare time and do video editing. I also have a ridiculously huge movie collection. Seriously, it's really big. I enjoy the occasional drink and a night out but I'm by no means a party animal. I also play guitar. I might be on my laptop a fair bit but I'm by no means antisocial.
I am a clean and independent person, who is very house trained (haha) I work full time and am often working long hours, I also study so a reasonably chill place would be ideal. I am 21, though please don't let that deter you, i'm so far from a party girl its ridiculous, i have shared multiple times and also lived independently, I'm super reliable with rent and bills so that will never be an issue at all! Move date set as April 15- but flexible as to moving earlier or later, just want to find somewhere that's a good fit!
Hey, I'm a very friendly, sociable, hard-working 25 year-old who has lived in Melbourne her whole life. I work full time as a radiographer (yes, that means shift work) and I'm generally very busy in my free time. I enjoy keeping fit and play a multitude of sports and I like running also. I'm a big foodie and love to eat out and cook at home too (happy to share the household cooking duties). I love a good glass of wine (or two, or more), binge watching trashy movies/tv shows and hanging out with mates. My family and friends are really important to me and I would like to live with people who I could eventually consider close friends as well. I'm looking to live somewhere modern, reasonably spacious and close to my work. I would need somewhere convenient to park my car (on, or off street) as I participate in an on-call roster and need to have easy access to my car in those instances. Ideally I'd like an ensuite or my own bathroom, but it's not a complete deal breaker. I'd really like to get the ball rolling as my current flat mate wants to move out and I don't want to foot the bill in our existing apartment for both of us for too long! Please feel free to contact me if you're interested in getting to know more about me!
All the nitty gritty stuff! I'm originally from nz ( currently there ) but have been offered a work transfer in Melbourne! So of course with out a doubt I accepted it!I'm a very sociable person! I love getting to know people whether it's over a glass of O.J or a good ole coffee! I'm financially stable! My hours are 7-7 sometimes 6! So won't be around for much other than to catch up on a years worth of lost sleep! I love a good banter! As well as the odd, uber eats and chill kinda shindig! I don't drink, only on the rarest of occasions like Jesus is going to walk this earth rare 😂 and I 110% do not smoke whether that's cigarettes or weed 110% no, not against it just not my cup of tea, I'm a clean freak, I love living and being in a clean environment! So I'll do more than my fair share of house work without a hassle! I love to keep active, running and the gym is my time where I feel the happiest so I like to keep on top of that at least once every day! And yeah! I'm really easy going! Pay bills on time, respectful of everyone's own personal space!! I'm a real people kinda person but also enjoy my alone time! But if the shoe fits please let me know would love to hear from you
Hey Guys, I’m moving back to Melbourne after a stint in London and I need somewhere to live! I’m great to live with because I'm a neat FREAK (I’ve been known to do laundry when drunk) and I’m also an expert at ordering in (in the past 3 months I’ve cooked 5 times), although don’t let that deceive you because I’m still an alright cook. Another great thing is that I’m a ‘social media expert’ well that’s what my colleagues in London called me so I’m always there to help you draft the perfect insta caption. Part of my neat-freakiness is that I don’t throw parties at home so you don’t need to worry about me trashing the place, and I also have my twin brother’s Netflix account (free to use) which honestly is a pretty good deal. I’m pretty easy with where I live as long as it’s central to the city. My goal is to live near/on a tram line because prior to London I was confined to Williamstown… So hit me up if you want some sass in your life because I’ll bring it in bucketloads.
Swedish girl, first time in Australia on a working holiday visa. I'm looking for a place I can call home for a while. Clean, cosy and relaxed. Overall I'm easy going and social. Love staying in for a movie night or just chill with some good food on the table. Been traveling on and off for 5 years. My plan is now to be in Melbourne for minimum one year. Im working full time in the city so will be working both day and night shifts. On my days off I usually spend the day hanging out with friends. Like indie, rock and electronic music. Up for partying and bar hang outs here and there. I'm an easy, social person. Don't take to much space. Like to keep myself active. Have no problems with animals. Love them all, so far. Just text if you have any more questions👌
I am looking for a room somewhere in Melbourne's inner east preferably close to the bay. Kitesurfing is my main hobby, I spend allot of time bayside so I would like to be reasonably close. I ride my bike to work everyday, enjoy the outdoors and generally keeping fit. It not necessary but It would be perfect if I could find a place with some facilities like a pool/gym etc... The home and people are more a focus for me than the suburb. I am open to any suburb in this area. I am originally from New Zealand I have been in Australia for around 15 years, 12 in Sydney and 3 in Melbourne. After spending 9 years in the snow ski industry I now work in the IT industry as an analyst/programmer so I like to be active in the w-ends. I enjoy kitesurfing, biking, technology, travelling, food (especially Asian), socializing/eating out, skiing, most sport and just about anything that is fun. I am very easy going, consider myself clean and tidy and are very respectful of other people and their space. I am an animal lover so don't mind any household pets especially dogs. I look forward chatting and hopefully to coming and meeting you!
Hello, I am an English, 26 year old single male who has been living in Melbourne for the last year. I am a Digital Advertising Manager with occasional (or more often than not, frequent!) long hours and a fairly busy schedule. I would consider myself to be a loyal, supportive and compassionate friend, as well as particularly conscientious about other people's feelings. I swing between spending lots of time at home relaxing and being out and about every night of the week. Like nothing more than to come home and have a good chat and catch up in a relaxing environment and I'm always up for drinks/dinner too. I've got a 457 visa and have no intention to move back to England in the immediate future. If you've got any questions, please feel free to give me a shout. Minal
Hi everyone! my name is Lucile I'm 23 & I from Paris in France. I'm looking for a share house because I'm in Melbourne since 2 weeks for 1 year and I don't want to invade my friend's house :) I came here to exchange with people from everywhere, and starting a new life to the other side of the world. I'm a smiling girl, discreet when it's necessary but present at the right times. I like to cook as if I were a part of a large family (No mess! lol) I like to listen music as if I was beatmaker (No worries, got my headphones) I like reading novels as if I were studying literature (But I really don't) I wouldn't be often at home. I prefer to discover the streets than the closets! lol Thanks for reading me, bye for now :) Lucile
I'm a respectful person, engaged in a busy life, looking for a creative, quiet and peaceful sanctuary. I have a stable, long-term work situation and study part-time. I value my independence and currently enjoy living on my own, however now that I have gone back to uni this year, I need to adjust my living arrangements to suit my new lifestyle.
Canberra raised now a Melbourne northsider looking for an unfurnished room in the neighbourhood when my Carlton North lease is up. Work a 9to5 in sales by day and study post grad in procurement part time. In my spare time love making music or playing around on my dj set. Great to join a house that's up for hang outs, gigs or the occasional beers at home. I'm easy going, social and considerate of space and privacy. Been living in sharehouses for a while, so I know to pay bills on time and keep tidy. Anything else you'd like to find out? feel free to ask!
I have plenty of sharehouse experience, living with a variety of characters over the years, I'm independent but sociable and enjoy catching up with housemates. I like movie nights, occasional shared meals and keeping things clean - and if you have any animals I will adore them! Vegetarian, working full-time (normal hours) in the human rights space.
Hey there ! I am a french girl, travelling and working here in Melbourne. I'm looking for a place to live and share, but no worries, I am pretty quiet, pay my rent on time and respect others privacy. On the other side, I am pretty bubbly and outgoing, and I always enjoy some time chatting ( and let's be honest, I also love good shared meals ). I'm pretty into arts, I actually do play guitar, but I always manage to keep it low not to disturb anyone. Feel free to contact me and ask me more questions if you want to ! I'll be happy to be in touch ! Cheers
Hi there, My name is Amelia, I'm a 28 year full time professional working in the CBD. Tidy and easy going, I'm looking to live with like minded people. Originally from the UK, I have lived in Melbourne for over year. Enjoy the odd glass of wine with flat mates and like my own space too :) Interested in flats within the Brunswick area as I'm hoping to fit in some short courses in the evening. I'm an ESL teacher and Master degree student. Respectful, tidy guy who enjoys a good chat as well as time alone. I play the double bass and am looking for housemates who wouldn't mind me practicing every once in a while.
Hi! I'm super easy-going, tidy and very clean, and financially reliable. I'm a paramedic, so you won't have to suffer my company too often with all the shift work :P I like to keep healthy and fit (housemates are welcome to join in for workouts! Haha) and I love to cook. I play jazz trumpet and I do occasional painting. I'm outdoorsy - enjoy regular camping and hiking. I do have two mostly indoor Bengal cats (both~2yo, and hypo-allergenic) who are freaking adorable. I would ideally prefer to live with other cat-lovers, it makes life much easier. Please know I am a very responsible pet owner, but the occasional help of cat-feeding would be appreciated what with night shifts etc. I'd love to be able to make a friend out of my prospective housemate(s), but I understand everyone needs their space of course. That's me :)
Hey my name is Simone I would describe myself as a very easygoing and passionate human being. I love to have conversations, I always loved to see my housemates as a family.. I'm a 26 y.o. Hi, I'm Gab, I'm 28 and I work in marketing for a gallery. I'm interested in travel, photography, art and music. That's me in the middle with some pals at Meredith.

Hi My name is Victoria/Torie and am looking to find a location closer to my work in Kew. I have a 10 year old fur-baby named Keira who is a mystery dog of different breeds (basically in between a small and medium sized dog.) she is a well behaved, low maintenance dog that loves being around with humans and gentle natured dogs. Generally keep to myself and like to keep all communal areas clean and tidy. Depending on others people's schedules, I also like to sometimes share/take in turns at cooking for each other for dinner (cos it's just nice!) I don't own a lot of stuff anymore so will just be basically bringing bedroom furniture, a mini bar fridge, a 32" TV with smallish stand and of course my trusty, loyal pooch :)

Im currently in the middle of a Criminology degree plus some other counselling diplomas. I'm James, a 25 yr old kiwi working in advertising. I have been in Melbourne almost a year and am looking for a quiet and sunny room in a central suburb and some cool people to live with. I'm a laid back, social guy who appreciates things to be clean and tidy, but I'm always up for having friends over for a few drinks during the weekend. I work in advertising, so if I'm busy you may not see me for a couple of days, but at the end of the week I'll be craving a few drinks and a good laugh. I enjoy eating out and going to gigs, as well as making the effort to squeeze the odd run in too. As a kiwi, my footy knowledge is slowing developing, so I'll be making an effort to attend a few games this season. Can cook, and happy to share meals if you are too.

Hello, we're a young couple looking to move in to a room together. Originally from Perth, Gary is currently working, while Cotton, born and raised on the Chinese island of Hainan, is studying at university. We are both easygoing, friendly and tidy, and enjoy socialising as much relaxing at home. Neither of us are party animals and committed to a healthy lifestyle.
Hi, I’m Mathew, 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT University. I’m very clean and tidy, respectful of privacy, trustworthy and do my share of the housework along with paying bills on time. I’m friendly, social and always up for a chat. My course is a handful, so I tend to be on the quiet side when at home. I’m looking for a place within 30mins of the city, with a large bedroom for all of my stuff. It must be near public transport. My interests tend towards the geeky side of things, I am very good with computers and can always lend a hand with anyone’s IT troubles. Non smoker, no drugs, don’t drink. Looking to move around Easter time, preferably earlier. Bond and first months rent ready to go!
Méabh and I recently moved to Australia after meeting up in NZ - before that I had traveled in South America solo for a few months. We had both quit our jobs in Dublin (as an IT Consultant and Childern's Nurse) to start our new life down under. We're aiming to get sponsored and enjoy Melbourne and the rest of Australia for a good while to come all going well. We chose Melbourne because of the amount and range of event, sports, food, people, and we're really excited to set up a nice base from which we can start enjoying it fully!
Hey there! My name is Sophie, I'm 28 and moved here to Melbourne in February from NZ. I am a graphic designer currently in the process of job hunting for nice and tidy place! I have savings to pay for rent etc until I get a job. Happy to pay rent in advance with bond. Rent and bills have always been a priority to me, they come first before anything and I have never missed a rent payment or bill in my life. I enjoy exploring the city, a drink or two and eating! I also enjoy quiet nights in and relaxing. Love music, finding rooftop bars and I love to cook too (amazing kitchens are a seller for me!) but I still appreciate Uber Eats! I'm really easy to get along with, very tidy and always clean up after myself - one of those clean as you go people! I want to live in a home where everyone takes pride in how the place looks. I am available to move in as soon as possible and happy to discuss length of stay. I am a very happy person and looking forward to making new friends along the way! I promise you won't regret living with me!
We are a mature, friendly, creative couple who are both professional theatre makers, musicians and teachers. Dave loves growing organic vegetables and cooking. We have a lovely old dog who lives outside.
Hi there ! My name is Saphera. I am a design graduate from Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand who has just moved over to Melbourne last week. I love anything creative really, and exploring Melbourne in my spare time. I consider myself very clean and organised, as well as being pretty chill.
I work full time as retail sales manager . You can find me doing something active most nights and I work every second weekend. I like to go out for drinks and dinner with friends every so often but also like a night in watching my favourite TV series. I am organised, clean and tidy. I am looking for a like minded housemate.
We're a British travelling couple (24, 25) who have landed in Melbourne 14/03 and looking to spend around 6-9months in Melbourne, although want to find a 3 month stay to begin with, and then go from there in terms of housing. $350 really is our limit, we'd prefer this to include bills but that can be negotiated. We're easy-going, clean and social housemates- enjoy a chat over cooking (I'm veggie but happy to cook meat) and a glass of wine/beer but also appreciate busy schedules and personal time/space. We'll be working but on our time off we enjoy keeping fit (gym, yoga, running, walks) and catching up with friends in the amazing restaurant and bar scene that Melbourne offers!
Half-Australian, half-Indian. I just moved to Melbourne from Singapore to continue my legal studies. Working part-time as a paralegal, looking for a place to rest my head and people to help introduce me to a new city.
I'm super chilled and super easy going but do enjoy my privacy so am looking for a crib to share with 1 other person (preferably male) where we can share space but still have our own private space. I'm looking for someone clean and tidy and who can look after themselves! :) I'm a professional hip hop and belly dancer currently studying full time dance and uber driver in the mornings and evenings and weekends so will hardly be home. I have 5 pets, 2 Maltese dogs and 3 old cats so my roomie has to be ridiculously pet friendly first and foremost! Looking to split things 50/50 with someone cool and awesome!!
We are Jenny and Stu, originally from Liverpool, England but now calling Melbourne home. Both laid back, ones tidy, one is clean so winning combination. Like to do anything involving food and wine, and slowly make our way through every instagramable brunch place that Melbourne has to offer. Both working professionals, and at the weekend love to jump in the car and explore Melbourne/Victoria. We aren't that couple who make out on the couch, lick each others faces or call each other 'boo boo'.......so don't let us being a couple scare you off, we are normal people too! Looking to move in to a place, or join up with other people to find a house. Want to be in an environment with decent people who can hold a conversation, as much as we love a drink no all night partiers please, preachy people or anyone in a cult. We just want to relax have some fun and enjoy the place we live in and the people who live there too.
Hey guys, I'm making the big move from Brisbane to Melbourne in April (arrive the 12th). I have a job as a Risk Specialist lined up, so being on a lease/paying bills is not an issue. Hoping I can leave my stuff in storage for the mean time until I settle in, so a bed would be awesome but I can make other arrangements for that. I’m pretty much bringing what I can stuff into my car. Im a pretty chill guy, I think I’m funny and easy to get along with. Ive been trying out crossfit and hope to keep that up down there, other than that you’ll probably catch me exploring cafes and eating food. I’m super tidy as a flatmate, like legit tidy, not the type that says they are but aren’t. Im 29 as well. My work schedule for the first couple of months will be pretty hectic, with 3 or 4 weeks worth of time in Sydney thrown in there. I know I can’t meet anyone before because I’m in Bris, but happy to have a chat on the phone or Skype. Cheers Ben
