I work part time during the weekends at a nightclub. Therefore, I often bring back bottles of beer after work. Help yourself with the beers my future housemates! If you ever get tired of beer, just let me know, then I'll figure something out. On the other hand, I'm also a full time 3rd year student at Swinburne Hawthorn. Hi! My names Grace, I am 20 years old, originally from Japan, but moved to Melbourne from Adelaide. I really enjoy being out and about, but also love to lounge at home with a glass of wine and watch movies. I am a very friendly person, and love to chat but also really enjoy my own personal space. I am looking for roommates that I could be friends with, occasionally have dinner with, etc. Grace
Mike and I are from the US, visiting Australia on a working holiday visa. We just arrived in mid-February so are really excited to explore Melbourne and take some trips out of the city! We're both chill, happy, and clean people. Mike loves exploring the outdoors (biking, tramping, kayaking, paddle boarding, rock climbing, etc.!); I love taking fitness classes (barre, yoga, Pilates), exploring new restaurants, and sharing a bottle of wine with friends! Back home, Mike was a scientist and I did market research. Looking forward to finding a great place to live with some friendly flatmates!
I am a student from the United Kingdom coming to study History at the University of Melbourne on an exchange semester. I love to play the guitar, read, bake and I'm incredibly excited to explore and get to know Melbourne! I'm clean and tidy and enjoy quiet nights in with a film and a glass of wine (or a hot chocolate!) but I also enjoy going out and having a good time. I have lived in shared accommodation for the past year and a half and so I am acquainted with all of the responsibilities and normalities that come with this. I am eager to experience all that Melbourne has to offer!
Fun loving, happy to keep to myself, or join in whatever's going on in the flat/house. Non smoker, but not fussed about living with smokers either. I'm into all sorts of films and music, so that section of the pub quiz is sorted if I move in.
I consider myself to be a peaceful, friendly individual with an open mind. I enjoy spontaneous adventures, treks, Music festivals, fitness. I'm someone who enjoys the company of others and enjoys time by myself equally. I tend to keep things tidy as I have mild ocd. Un-winding with a drink or some meditation is something I tend to engage in. Im from Bombay, India and currently doing my Masters in Monash. Will be spending most of my time studying or working part-time. Looking forward to meet my new flatmates.
After travelling Europe for a couple of months, I'm now in need of a new home. I have no idea what I'm doing with my life, so I'm happy with both temporary and longer-term homes. I'm sure I'll be in Melbourne for at least the next 6 months, probably longer, so I'm happy to sign a lease and such. I've been living in share houses for many years, so I'm well house trained, clean, respectful, chill and all that jazz! I'm available to move in anytime. A bit about me: I'm 24; I have a love of animals; my favourite meals are brunch, pre-dinner snack and dessert; I enjoy nature and sitting in parks; I've been working full time at a ski store for what feels like forever (but I enjoy it); I try to always look at the positive and/or funny side of life; my hair colour/style changes frequently (currently pink); I just started attending aerial circus classes for fun/fitness and love it; I rely on public transport to get around; and I'm currently coming out of a 6 year obsession with Hi-5 (the kids band) that basically consumed my life. I will also provide daily smiles.
Hey everyone, we're two friends looking for a house share or possibly sign on to a new lease. We’re both quiet and easy going, able to cook and clean and generally look after ourselves. As to more specifics, Ross currently studies English and Philosophy full time and Xander is working for the man full time until the dream of being a professional aviator can be properly realised. We both have shared interests in music (Xander probably knows the entirety of Bruce Springsteen’s catalogue off by heart) as well as politics and the occasional chat about life, the universe and everything. Ross also owns heaps of furniture: fridge, tv, several beds, chest freezer, etc. which can be shared if there is space available for it. If that sounds like your cup of tea then we’d love to hear from you.
Hey I'm Megan 😊I am travelling from the UK to work and travel Australia. Been travelling before so i now I am onto a working holiday here in Melbourne! I am travelling before i start university next year to study interior architecture. So looking for chilled out people to share to with!
I'm moving from Adelaide to Melbourne to do a PhD at Monash Clayton so most of time will be spent in the lab during the weeks but on weekends you can find me down at the beach or at a gig. I enjoy drinking a glass of wine and relaxing with a good TV show after a long day at the lab. Because I will be at the lab and studying most of the time I will be keeping to myself quite a bit however, I'm still a quite social person and would love hanging out/making a good meal (I'm italian so it will be very carb-heavy/like a warm hug) for you too.

I'm a 21 year old kiwi who has been living in Melbourne for the past three years. At the end of last year I moved out of one of the colleges at Melbourne uni and am now looking to move into a sharehouse a long-term lease. I've just finished my undergrad degree at Melbourne uni, having done a double major in French and International Politics. I'll be continuing study doing Honours at Melbourne uni this year, so, wherever I end up living, I'll be around the house a fair amount when I'm not at uni, playing sport, at band rehearsals or doing casual work shifts. I'm a pretty chilled out kind of person but also enjoy the occasional party, so I'm happy to fit in with any home vibe! I'm quite a sociable person and am always up for a chat, so I'm hoping to move into a house with social housemates. I also love meeting new people and trying new things, so I'll enjoy living with anyone provided they're clean and respectful.

I am carrying a discoverer deep inside of me thats why I adore travelling, tasting and cooking foods, dancing with good music, talking and sharing a part of my life with good people who have different line of vision than me. My goal in this life is to contact with people as much as I can, and turn myself into a international woman. I love nature, the beach, festivals, breakfast adventures, dogs, sunshine, yoga and a good cup of coffee. I also love exploring Melbourne by bike and travelling the world. I'm looking to move in with some relaxed, positive and respectful housemates that have their own thing going on but don't mind a catch up over a glass of wine, a movie or a house dinner. Hey flatmates.com world, I'm Amy, When I asked my friend what to write in this bio she said i was fun. Although it's true it's probs not the most constructive thing to say. I consider myself to be a normal human being: friendly, easy going, considerate and clean. Looking for a social household, respects others but also doesn't mind a chat or a cheeky bev. I work full time in HR, but outside of workla I like to go to gigs/festivals, drinks with friends, travel and attempt to keep active at the same time. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me a message :)
I'm an exchange student from Vancouver, Canada. I'm laid-back, clean, and respectful of others. Just looking for a chill place to stay at until June 30 :)
So I've taken a huge leap of faith and accepted a job I was randomly offered in Melbourne that commences in 3 weeks.....so needless to say I need somewhere to live! So a bit about me....physiotherapist and masters in OHS, self confessed terrible cook (though will tell people I'm trying to impress otherwise), pretty adventurous and reckon I'm a decent roomie having had long stints renting here and overseas. I'm pretty comfortable talking to people so you don't have to worry about awkward silent moments... I fancy myself as a novice green thumb, exercise a lot and follow far too many furntiture designers on instagram. I own my own property which I renovated, lived in and now rent out so know the value of a good tenant and happen to know how to use a drill should it be required. Ideally I'd like to rent with just one other but I'll bend the rules with two if you're a decent person and good fun. Right, I think I'm done pumping my own tyres so if you're interested in letting me live in your house and cooking you a mediocre meal with a decent wine then hit me up! Cheers! Laura
Hello hello My names Julia I'm a 24 year old New Zealander who is now going into her 2nd year in Melbourne and I love it! I work full-time at CGU insurance in the city and for the past year I have lived in prahran but my lease has run up so I'm now looking in this area again but in a share house. I am bubbly, love a laugh or two, I have a love for travel and meeting new people, I'm tidy and clean, and most of the time active. If I sound of any interest please get in touch! I Would love to hear from ya 😊 Thanks Julia (Jules)
Hey there, My names Anthony. I'm currently looking for an available room in the inner west of melbourne- preferably Yarraville or Seddon. I am a 27 year old who works full time in the telco/IT industry. I'm a polite and respectful house mate who pays bills on time and keeps their space tidy, including kitchens and bathrooms. I lead a healthy lifestyle and love cooking at home as well as hitting the gym regularly. When I'm home I'm usually relaxing in my room watching Netflix or playing video games. How ever, I also like to come out and have a few beers, ciders, etc with my house mates. I am also fine with pets and love dogs. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do. Also I have a motorbike so I won't be taking up your car space. If i look like your ideal house mate, let me know. Regards Anthony **ive just recently got served eviction notice as my current apartment got sold and the new owners want to move in, sooner I can move the better!***
Hey I'm Kylie! I'm 29 and have just returned from living in London for two years! I love to travel, catch up with friends and family, shop, eat brunch and enjoy long walks and Pilates. I work in retail. I'm a down to earth Aussie girl who loves to have a chat!!
If a bold Yorkshire accent is your kind of thing, then I'm your housemate of choice! ;) I Love: -A bottle of red -A good bit of terrible reality tv -An upbeat Spotify playlist -A duvet day I'm all about a chat, but also like my alone time. HOME is where the HEART is! I keep a tidy house - I'm like Mrs Doubtfire (apart from not a man dressed as a woman) I don't take myself too seriously, but I seriously do need a place to live! Cheers :)
Hi potential future-flatmates!! I'm from Hobart, Tasmania, and I've just moved to Melbourne for university (UniMelb), so I'm hoping to find a place in that area somewhere. I play hockey and I also do a bit of orienteering (bonus points if you don't have to google 'what is orienteering'), and I've got a bike to get from A to B. That makes me sound quite a bit more energetic than I am, but I do have my lazy moments (trust me). Also, if you want a pub-buddy, then look no further! Say 'beer' or 'wine' or 'alcohol' and I'll be there with bells on. Same goes for coffee. I hope that I'm easy to live with, I do chores and I generally clean up after myself. I listen to music a lot, especially when I'm studying, but if you don't like that then thats why I've got headphones. I don't mind moving into a non-furnished place, but if its furnished, then, well, what a bonus. I don't smoke, I love animals, I'm not a morning person, and I eat almost continuously (but don't worry, I wont eat your food). I like sitting down for a Netflix marathon, and also occasionally having house dinners. I've ticked 'working part-time' because hopefully I will have a casual hospo job by then (anyone know of one going..?) but I am currently unemployed, unfortunately. Also flexible with moving in dates and preferred length of stay. Hopefully my rambling has convinced that I'd be a cool person to live with! If you think so just give me a yell and we can meet up!!
Self employed girl geak engineer and electronic music lover. I am looking for a new home with people who have a life outside of the house but also like to chill and share a wine and chat from time to time. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do, not fussed on what others eat or sexuality as its all relative, each to their own. Mutual respect is the way forward. Flexible with move dates, ideally early to mid to late . If you have a garden, that would be awesome. Again, not a deal breaker though. I love animals but don't have any. I am open to a sublet but prefer to rent and be on a lease and 6 months minimum is preferred.
Hi there. I'm a completely house trained young 41 year old looking to establish a new home with an awesome housemate. I'm neat and tidy, love a good chat and laugh. I'm quite the homebody but love to get out and about enjoying movies, theatre, comedy, good food, social drinking and hanging out with friends. Health and fitness are all really important to me and you can find me at the gym 3 to 4 times a week. I also play social basketball once a week. I love cooking and enjoying having friends over for dinner parties and bbq's. I have a 5 year old son who lives with his other mum in NSW and he visits a few times a year. I have everything we need to get a house stated, lounge, white goods, all the kitchen necessities etc. If I sound like someone you would be keen to meet to see if it can work, drop me a line. I look forward to hearing from you. Vanessa

I'm pretty low key during the week, alot of netflix and chill, on the weekends I might have a few drinks with friends or go to a gig. Hi there, I'm 25 yo Polish, arrived to Melbourne 3 months ago. I'm seeking a private room starting with 12 March, or better -prospective housemates to create a new place to call home! I'd preferably stay in the northern suburbs (Brunswick, Northcote etc) but I'm not really fussy about that. Flexible with rent duration, but 3 months is a minimum stay. The only condition is more or less convenient location with public transport going straight to the city in the nearby. Some basics about me - I'm pretty laid back, positive person, not intrusive though which means I'm keen to hang out with a beer or 5 every now and then but need to have my own space as well (and I'm happy to give you same opportunity). I'm much into music and everything what is related to that. What I'm doing in Melbourne is generally having fun, meeting people, gathering good memories and money for further adventures! I used to work in accounting, here I'm working full-time in hospo. Pm me if it feels like we might get along well!
My name is Michael, I'm 25 and I'm looking for a 2/3/4 bedroom sharehouse close to the city. Preferred move in date would be March 5, but I'm flexible. I'm an entrepreneur, having started a smoothie business in late 2015 which I work on full-time. I also do some freelancing work for the self storage industry. My business has recently just moved into a premises in Collingwood, so I'm looking to find a place nearby. And yes, there will be opportunities for free smoothies! I'm very organised, clean and would like to live with people who are as well. I'm pretty easy going, always up for a chat and respectful of others privacy. Outside of work I like to stay fit by going to the gym and playing touch footy, going out to brekky with friends and exploring Melbourne! I'm originally from Brisbane and have a few friendship groups down here, but I'm always keen to meet new and interesting people :) -Michael
