Hi Guys, Moved to Melbourne around 5 months ago. Hard working professional. Travel quite abit so away a lot. Looking for comfortable place to relax when home easy going roommates. Love watching sport and having a wine or beer on the weekend.
We are a young couple from sunny Scotland moving to Australia for 4 months in September. We are arriving in Melbourne on Sept 1st and are looking for somewhere to live until the end of December. I am 23 and a law graduate and my partner Ross is 22 and a geography graduate. We are taking a year out to travel and work abroad and our first stop is Melbourne! We are both into sports and fitness, movies, eating out and like having some drinks at the weekend. We are both non-smokers and clean. We have both lived in share houses previously so understand about privacy however as this is our first time in Melbourne we would love to make some friends who could show us the ropes! Hope you'll consider us :)
Hi there! :-) I am a 25 year old Norwegian who just moved to Melbourne to do one semester of my masters in economics and business administration at the University Of Melbourne. I'm really sociable and I would love to find a place to live with like-minded people. I love to travel, explore new things and get to know new people. I'm a tidy person who is used to living with other people and respect my roommates. I'm always up for fun and I would say that I'm an easy going person. I am interested in finding roommates who would like to make dinner together from time to time, go out to grab a beer or a cup of coffee, or just chill out. If you need a new roommate and think that I could fit in I would love to hear from you :-)
Hi, I'm Aleks! I work full-time in Coolaroo and in my free time I like to cook, do some fitness, go for a walk, read. I'm tidy and responsible :-) I'm looking for a safe place to call home long-term where every housemate lives responsibly and is friendly. I need a furnished room with rent + bills up to $200 a week. The closer to Coolaroo the better. I promise to keep the room tidy and well-maintained :-) Thank you.
Hi everyone, my boyfriend and I are moving to Melbourne on Working Holiday visas this October - looking for a furnished double room in the city/inner suburbs. I am 23, from the UK, and Ricky is 22, from the US. We're not looking for a party house but we're very sociable and would love to get to know you as we don't know many people in Melbourne! We love cooking, going out for dinner/drinks, and doing fun days out. We're planning on working full-time when we arrive (we have enough to support ourselves until we find work). Budget is $300-400 pw for rent and bills. Move in date 4-7 October - staying for about 1 year, though maybe a little less. PLEASE NOTE: We do not arrive in the country until October 4th, so please don't message me if you want us to move in before that! For this reason we also can't inspect properties - but I can Skype you so you can get to know us a little and we can see the place :)
Hello! I am Joanna and I am really excited to be moving to Melbourne!! I am a registered nurse and have a government level security clearance. I am reliable with rent and bills, clean, tidy, non-smoker and respectful. I am looking for somewhere close to the city and am looking to live with some lovely people! Even better if you have a dog! Please feel free to inbox me if you have any other questions, Cheers!! Joanna
Adaptive. I fit the house rather than the house fits me. I've lived in many situations, with many types of people. Just back to Melbourne after living in Beijing and Manila. Oh I'm gay, which i hope makes little difference in this day and age...
I'm an American working full-time 9-5 in CBD. I'm fun and easygoing, laid-back and easygoing. Generally, I'm upbeat and positive, friendly and happy for a chat around the house or over drinks. I've lived in Melbourne for almost 2 years and am fully house-trained for share houses = tidy, pitch in for housework, pay bills on time, and all the rest. As to household stuff, I could bring a fridge, a television, and a BBQ, along with my own bedroom stuff. Probably a couch too if needed.
I'm chilled, reliable and easy to get along with. Been doing the share house thing for a while so I'm pretty house trained! I'm quite social and love to have a beer and a chat or the occasional meal but get the need for space as well. I'm a good communicator and would love to live with rad people who get along and consider their home more than just a place to sleep. I'm also a grown woman who knows how to pay rent/bills on time, stick to a cleaning roster and buy toilet paper! I'm from Melbourne originally but have been living just south of the Grampians for work for the last couple of years, I'm moving back to Melbourne to start a new job. I'm a gardener and will kit out the place with awesome indoor plants if I get the chance! I love to cook, go out to gigs and have a laugh. I've got a heap of furniture and am all ready to go so could potentially do a team up or put stuff in storage to fit into an existing sharehouse. Hit me up if it sounds like a good fit!
Hi! I'm a Portuguese PhD candidate enrolled in a Drug Discovery joint PhD between the University of Nottingham and Monash University. I'll be staying for 1 year in Melbourne and would like to travel and get to know Australia as much as possible. On my leisure time I enjoy watching movies (Lynch and Kubrick fan) and going to festivals and concerts. If you have any questions - feel free to ask.
*** no smoking, drugs and heavy drinking*** I am a bubbly, social conversationalist; I have lived and worked in several countries, Australia being my 5th home. I love to laugh and talk about lotsa things - politics, development, startups, travel, charity. In my private time I like to day dream about new ideas and create change. I love sports and like to take big walks. I have two beautiful, mixed race boys who mainly live with their mother at the mo, one is 8 the other 3.5. My big boy is a Hawks fun; the little one a Bull Dogs fun; I am fun of both teams obviously but my real heart is w Arsenal - 20 years in a row. Isn't that true of all Africans? lol - I am pure Aussie. I used to live in leafy Eltham and ran my own business. I am now separated and single and recently sold our property. I am looking for new life and challenges; I am currently working on two start-up ideas and want to be closer to the city. I love to solve BIG PROBLEMS and call myself an entreprenuer. Who knows may be one day I will actually become one after I land the big dollars :). Sorry that was wrong. I'll land the big dollars soon or later. Sigh.....! I'm looking for a private room within a house to co-share costs - my budget is between $150 -200 pw and will pay upfront for atleast 20 weeks in advance (3 / 4k). I prefer a 2BR house i.e. a house with only two occupants. A single parent with child(ren) would be a great housemate. Hit me up if you have a room; male or female and you don't mind living w a genius (lol im not) but I am v sociable. Age group from 29 to 55 is preferable, but I am also pretty chill and can hang out w Melbourne's baddass teens lol. I can handle street slangs v well and can repeat "like" in each of my sentences. "Its like he doesn't like me"; "it's like she married a crappy guy" :) I hold a masters' degree and prior to starting my own business I worked with a bank and a large not for profit agency in Melbourne. I have lived in Melbourne for over six years and I am permanent (i've postponed my citizenship test since January lol - :) If you have any questions please ask - I have put all cards on the table. NB. I do not like racist people so if you are one and I contact you just ignore me, I will understand. Thank you for reading my profile. Make it beautiful and contact me if you want a room mate. I am an awesome bloke / dude / guy / hunk whatever you wanna call me. Lotsa people who chill out w me like me instantly. They honestly do lol. Cheers.
I'm a soon-to-be lawyer, working full time and also doing a bit of study on the side. Lover of all things podcasts, good food, good chat etc. Outside of work I love hiking, travelling and good times. I'm house-trained and am happy to live with guys/girls, I'm an LGBTI+ ally and am flexible with location but has to be close to PTV
Hello, My name is Elise and i'm a 28yr old Vet Nurse student looking to take the plunge and move out of home towards the end of the year. Currently I am at TAFE one day a week. and work in Altona at least 2 days a week. Being a Vet nurse I am a passionate animal lover so I do have a small dog (Cavalier) named Brodie that i would really like to come with me so the place I am searching for would ideally need to be pet friendly. He is VERY chilled and gentle, and loves cuddles. I am also a keen cook and baker, and I am learning cake decorating on the side. I am very laid back and easy going, am up for sharing a meal and/or a drink, watching a movie or even going to a cafe/restaurant. I am looking for a place for around $160-200 p/week, the closer to Bell street or the Western ring road the better for access to my work in Altona.
I'm British, 22 and am currently living in Collingwood. I have recently moved from London with work (I work for an architecture firm). I am quite an outdoorsy person, in my free time I enjoy sports/gym, going to the cinema/theatre. I love going for dinner/drinks in the evening or having a chilled evening in with friends. I am pretty easy going and clean and tidy and am looking for a house where I can make friends rather than just living with strangers!
We are both Italian and we are moving now in Melbourne after 4 years in Sydney. I am an architect and Emanuela works in hospitality. We are clean and nice people and we can't wait to settle down!
