What I'm looking for: A room within a sharehouse with 1 other person, with an ensuite/unshared bathroom. It will be a quiet, clean place that respects my privacy and sleep (no party houses). The accommodation must be near transport that can easily access Westfield Carindale (either walkable distance, or has a direct bus) Bit about me: Female, early 30's, clean, tidy, and quiet. I work full-time (in graphic design and beauty industries); I work Saturday and Sunday during the day (my weekend is midweek Wednesday and Thursday) so you'd have the place to yourself during weekend days. I'm very considerate and respectful of others privacy. I'm social, but I do like a lot of my own space and privacy. I enjoy gardening, and have some herbs and tomato plants, enjoy daily exercise, along with drawing and playing guitar.
What makes us great to live with?! We both love wine! Actually, we're reasonably clean (not a clean freak though), work a lot and in general awesome company. Aaron's a Student. And I run a small web dev company in the Valley! We're both pretty fun guys, keep to ourselves, and to all reasonable extent... normal (with the exception that I like maths, which isn't *that* normal)
Hello, everyone! I am a 32 years old Brazilian studying International Trade and currently working at a Mantra hotel. I am preferably looking for a private room with easy access to the city, as I study on Adelaide St. I am a very quiet and tidy person, that likes to cook my own meals, listen to music and read. :) Please, be in touch if you think you can help me. Thanks!
I'm a 29 year old engineering professional with a passion for fitness and the outdoors. I'm usually not home much on weekdays, as I work long hours then go to the gym. On weekends I like to relax and socialize, or maybe get out of the city. I prefer a clean modern and simple house. Must have off street parking
Ronan and I are easy going and friendly people. We enjoy other peoples company however are also happy to keep to ourselves. We are both full time uni students. We have lived in Brisbane for the past 2 years but sometimes spend our weekends in Tweed Heads, NSW. In our spare time, we like to hang out, visit dog parks and go to the beach. We are looking for a room mate/s to move into a new house with us. We own our own furniture including a lounge, TV, washing machine, fridge and dining table so you will only need your bedroom furniture!
Hi All, My name is Shaun and i've just come back from my last adventure overseas. I've decided to pack up my stuff and move to a new state and see what Brisbane has to offer. Firstly don't be scared by the fact I'm unemployed as I've quit my job to move. I'm extremely motivated and won't take long to find a job. And on top of that I have savings so I won't struggle to pay the rent in the meantime. My first profession is a qualified chef and the second being a thermit welder in the rail industry. Travel is my biggest passion having been to 5 continents and 37 countries so far. I love everything outdoors from hiking, camping, road cycling, running and so much more. Ideally I'd like my budget to be an all in price but always flexible for the right place and right housemates. As I'm driving up from Tasmania I'll have my car. So a place with Parking available is a big thing I need. If you feel like i could be your next friend and flat mate i look forward to hearing from you :)
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. When sharing you need to be respectful of others. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year, first sem accounting student at QUT. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). Mia is currently 3 months old, she's a clever little monkey and wins everyone's hearts. It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
Extremely clean and tidy professional Engineer moving to Brisbane due to starting a new role. My new role includes international travel so there will be periods where I won't be there. I'm from the Sunshine Coast and enjoy an active lifestyle. I'm a quiet person but also enjoy social drinks.
Full time employed. Non-smoker. Financially stable. During my free time I enjoy rock-climbing, bushwalking, yoga and photography. I'm looking for and unfurnished bedroom that offers access to it's own bathroom. I'm interested in sharing with a person who appreciates mutual respect and keeps the place clean and tidy. No smoking. No pets.
Hi Everyone! My name is Ashley and I am looking for a room in share house or to take on a house with someone :) I work full time in Morningside, I am a receptionist at a dry ingredient blending/protein company - Yes I have the protein hook ups ;) hah I work 7:30am - 4pm so I will not be home during these hours. In the weekend I alternate between my house and my partners house (male, 23) so the odd weekend I will have my partner over. I smoke occasionally but am in the process of giving up and I am a social drinker but I don't drink much. I'm friendly, respectable and clean. I enjoy my own space but I am not a snob. I currently do not have a car so I need to be near some type of public transport. If the house/room is great then I can compromise as I do get picked up & dropped off for work. In regards to furniture I only have my own bedroom furniture but am happy to go halves, or whatever with furniture. If you would like to know more feel free to get message me. Thank you, Ashley
Currently living with a couple of girls in Morningside, but the girl that owns the house wants to move overseas. I love riding motorbikes and staying fit. I love cooking and socialising, but often crave a day to sit on the couch and do nothing. I'm in sales for construction and travel away sometimes for work to the other capital cities. Overall, I'm not stressed by much and am pretty upfront.
Hey everyone, I'm looking at moving to Brisbane in a couple weeks from Ayr. I have just left my job in childcare, for a new start and new adventures in Brisbane. I am easy going, open minded, friendly, clean, respectful and love to make the most of my weekends. I enjoy my own space but am interested in meeting new people and new adventures. Also love any chance I get to head to the beach.

I am a very genuine, down to earth person who enjoys a chat and is social but also respects the privacy and needs of others. I am super clean, friendly and looking for a home with a good vibe and relaxed housemates. I'm really into climbing, fitness and generally an active lifestyle and would like to live with non smokers. I'm studying interior design (part time) and also work in retail and looking for a clean place that I can call home where I can relax with housemates as well as focussing on finishing my studies. If I sound like someone you would be interested in living with, please say hello. :)
My boyfriend and I are currently on exchange for one semester of university in Canada. However we are back at the end of January and will need somewhere to live. We are easy going people who like our own space. We both work and have jobs waiting for us when we get back to Brisbane. We also study at Griffith University Nathan
I am looking for 1 or 2 people to share a house with. My move date, budget and length of stay are flexible for the right place / people. Must love dogs. I have 2 border collies a boy and a girl they are both super friendly. They will accept head pats and tummy rubs free of charge. I would need a house with a bit of fenced yard for them. I work full time 7:30am - 5pm Mon - Fri. I play soccer and like to keep fit which takes up most of my spare time. I am very friendly and always keen for a chat. Very laid back and easy going. Always keen for BBQ and beers on the weekend. You won't see much of me during the week sometimes. I'm not really bothered male or female, just no couples. If you think we would be a good fit drop me a line.
I'm caring and super considerate. I keep to myself, enjoy my own company. I work in a busy café so when I get home I don't like to mingle much. I'm vegan and very clean and tidy. A lot of the time I'm not home because I'm out on nature adventures and exploring over the weekend.
I'm a registered nurse. Tidy, quiet and friendly. I work shift work so I'll need the house to be quiet during the day so I can sleep for night shift about 3 times a month. Always happy to hang out and have a chat, but I'm respectful of boundaries. I would also require room mates to be 420 friendly.
Hi I'm Nicole! I work as a leading hair stylist for my best friends thriving growing salon. I'm a busy, enthusiastic and outgoing person with a beautiful big rottie named King. I walk him and excercise daily and love a bit of piece and quiet in the evenings. I am social on weekends but work and my dog is a priority. He is house trained and a pleasure to have around the home. He will become you best bud! I am looking for a room in a share house preferably with my own bathroom. I am tidy and will always clean up after myself so hit me up if we could be suitable for your place!
I'm extremely clean and tidy so I'm looking for a housemate/housemates that love coming back to a clean home to unwind. Private and not interested in late nights, drinking and partying. Keen traveller, enjoy nature, yoga practitioner, environmentally conscious individual, animal lover. ( I absolutely adore my three cats) Moving to Brisbane for work. I will be a contracted working professional, a veterinarian to be precise so cats are trained and will be clean and cared for.
I am a Structural and Mechanical Engineer and now study full time Nursing/Paramedic. I am quiet and committed to my study. I am social and enjoy an occasional drink and chat, also fitness oriented. I am clean and house proud and like to live a clean environment. I enjoy movies and hiking and work part time. I do have my own bedroom furniture and also a large LG double door fridge and 65" Tv which I would sell if it cannot be accommodated at my new place.
I am currently working full time as a jeweller, I'm looking to move a bit closer to my job in Muarrarie. I'm pretty quiet and I'm not home a lot of the time. Equally happy hanging out having a chat or enjoying my own company. I'm very respectful and clean. I do have a little parrot named Calvin, he is able to live outside and doesn't make a huge amount of noise. When I get some spare time I am usually either gardening or heading to the beach. I am looking for a house with a garage or some space where I can set up my workbench where I make jewellery.
Hey there, I'm relocating to Brisbane at the start of November for work and will need a place to stay. I will be a bit of a ghost throughout the working weeks as the office demands long hours, but am looking for a relaxed place to stay - preferrably partial to a drink or two on the weekends. My work will be in Morningside so ideally looking within 10min drive from there.
Hi there! I'm super keen to make a new start, moving to Brisbane to study! I come from Toowoomba, I am an outgoing and honest person. I like things super tidy and am a very clean person. I'm willing to take a share in all household jobs. I am seeking my own room, preferably not furnished, and fairly roomy, as i will need to set up a work desk for study. I would love a built-in robe, but if not, its completely fine. Possibly modern. I am willing to pay up to $190 a week for rent, that including bills. Thankyou, just contact me if you have any questions.
I'm a 26yo software engineer working full time in east brisbane. I'm a sport and outdoor activities enthusiast. I do rock climbing with UQ sometimes in kangaroo point and sometimes indoor. I also started doing Muy Thai recently. So during the week i'm usually out till 7 or 8pm. I'm reasonably social and house trained, and i'm mainly looking for a place to call home where people are willing to communicate and maybe share a meal or drink whilst respecting each others privacy at the same time when it's needed. I'm into music and play guitar sometimes (I got my awesome headphone that i use when i wanna play, so you don't need to worry about the noise if it bothers you). Preferably looking or a place in West End with an undercover garage, but that's not a must.
Hey there. I'm a 31 year old Queenslander looking for a new place. I'm looking to move in with a friendly girl who has their own life but likes to hang out together as well on occasion, and share a glass of wine after a long work day! I don't smoke (ever) and am ridiculously neat and tidy! I work full time in Newstead in recruitment. Have lived in share houses before so I know the drill. Hope to hear from you, Lauren.
My name is Danielle, I'm 21 and currently studying nutrition & dietetics at the University of Queensland. I work part-time at Woolworths in Manly West (5% staff discount) and I'm looking to move between where I currently live in Manly and Brisbane City, preferably Cannon Hill area and near a train line. I am hoping to find either a 2-3 bedroom apartment or townhouse with 2 bathrooms and I would love to move in with 1-2 girls aged ~18-25. I'm studying so I do like peace and quiet but I am a friendly person who is up for drinks, brunch, walks and netflix with my flatmates. My move in date is flexible over the next few months and I'm looking for a 6 month lease initially. I love pets so I'm happy with move in with anyone who has them (as long as we can find a place). Message me if you would be interested or have any more questions :)
I am extremely tidy, considerate of other flatmates and I pay my bills on time. I work full time and spend most evenings and weekends at the gym or at the dog park with my pup. Looking for a nice house close to the city or teaming up with others.
Please read my full ad before contacting me. About me: I'm a 25yo self employed female who works from home. I work about 15 hrs a week so currently looking for another job to utilise my spare time. I'm quiet, clean and considerate of others. I pay all of my bills on time and always pick up after myself. I enjoy Pilates, walking my dogs, traveling and being sarcastic. I am not a party person but enjoy socialising every now and then. I am a very easy going person with an open mind. Would prefer to live with mature, semi-responsible and like-minded people. I'll consider moving anywhere Brisbane/Gold Coast/Byron but do prefer Brisbane Southside. I have a friendly and loveable staffy named Soul, aged 3 who is part of the package. He is an inside dog so my perspective housemate/s must love animals as he is my number one priority and a safe and loving environment for him is paramount. He is washed weekly and is a very obedient and affectionate dog who loves to be around humans and other dogs (no cats sorry). I have a second staffy who will predominantly live with my ex but will occasionally stay over as we like to have slumber parties and braid each other's hair. I am essentially seeking to team up with 2 others to apply for a new rental. I have all kitchen appliances, a coffee table, TV unit and dryer I can bring or leave behind. I plan on buying a new lounge and miscellaneous decor items when I move. I would love to make a house a home with 1-2 individuals similar to myself. Flick me a msg if you think we can be friends/housemates!
I'm a Psychology student at QUT and work part-time at a pizza store (that means I can bring you home amazing pizza after my shifts). I'm a tidy, easy going person who is respectful of personal space but keen to sesh and socialise with my roommates :) message me if you have any other questions. I am willing to pay more rent for the master bedroom.
Hi girlies! I'm currently looking at places with my friend Ashley, and we found a beautiful 4 bedroom townhouse in Morningside that we would love to apply for. Rent would approximately be $135, and you'd be sharing a bathroom with Ashley and another person- it would be awesome if you and a girlfriend were interested in moving in together and taking up the other two rooms! We are both working casually in the city together, Ashley is at uni and I am 2 weeks away from completing my degree so will be looking for another job in my field soon. We love socialising, going out for drinks, netflix and chilling at home, however we do like to keep to ourselves at times and are both pretty study oriented. We would love to live with two girls who are out-going, friendly, respectful and tidy too. If you think this suits, swing me a message :) P.s we don't really smoke but definitely don't mind if you do!
Hi my name is Fin, I work in Hamilton as a jeweller. My cat Luna and myself are looking for a place to live, preferably close to Hamilton. I'm a very quiet and tidy housemate who works full time five or six days a week, and I'll always pay my rent and bills on time. Please make sure your place is pet friendly before you message me.
Hello! We are a couple (Australian and American) who have been living in the USA for the past few months. We are about to come back to Australia (on November 17) and we are looking for somewhere awesome!!! We really want to make friends in our new house as we are leaving a lot of ours behind here. Any orientations, preferences, or identities are a-okay with us. We like a beer, a glass of wine, and cooking. We aren't huge partiers, so we are looking for housemates who are just down to chill, watch an episode of something or play some board games. We no longer smoke but if you do, it's not a deal breaker for us. While we are health conscious, we are not vegetarian or vegan but if you are, please let us know so we can make sure we respect your kitchen and food area :) We do own a very friendly small-medium dog (a Kelpie mix named Chia) who is currently at her grandparent's place. She is an outside dog and prefers to stay outside as she is a rescue dog. Ideally we would like a space with a backyard that accepts pets or already has pets, but we understand it's difficult. She gets very spoiled there so it's not an issue if you do don't allow animals. I'm a hospitality veteran and Mike works in software development so he uses his computers a lot. I am also studying Journalism online and I'm in my final stages, so that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working. I hope to start a placement soon after I graduate, so I'll be out a lot. I am more than happy to pay upfront for the bond and four weeks rent (inc. utilities) if you are interested in taking us. Since we are coming back from the States we have no furniture at all; so if you're moving and need to get rid of yours, please let us know! Even just a bed would be a great help. We look forward to meeting you :) Mike and Tayla
I'm Kelly - 29 - Looking for a place to share closer to work as I have started a new job in Murarrie. I'm really fun and easy going. I like to go to the gym and eat healthy foods and whip up my green juices. With that being said, I also love to eat out and try new foods. I am not a party animal by any means, but sometimes would like to have friends over for wine & cheese etc and I do enjoy going out to a nice bar for a few drinks. I work in the Events industry Mon-Fri and sometimes the odd weekend. I would totally respect your space and I am very clean and Tidy! I'm pretty busy most weekends catching up with friends and family and love to get out and about. Can't say I'm every really home too much on weekends. I would love to find a room mate who can also be my friend, enjoy a chit chat, wine or go out to breakfast etc every now and again.
I'm a 19 year old male who recently moved from NSW to Brisbane just trying to meet new people and enjoy life. Currently working part time, mon to thur from 4 til midnight. Looking for a place to stay or someone to move into a new place with. Preferably around my age. I'm pretty quiet and keep to myself but also enjoy a good drink. I like to stay clean and tidy and would like to stay somewhere modern.
I am moving to Brisbane at the end of the year and looking for a team- up, room/ house/flat to rent. Looking for either guys or girls between the ages of 25-35. I am fairly quiet (until you get to know me), easygoing, like alone time and also up for a chat and a social drink. I have shared houses with people before and still remain very good friends with them. I am respectful of other people's things and I would like the same. I don't drink much or go out much, just out here and there for outings etc. with friends for coffee, brekky dates, dinner and others. I'm also keen on a backyard barbie and a few drinks with some music. I am clean but not a clean freak but like it if we help each other out and I am understanding if you need a break. I'd like a place to call home and feel comfortable living. I work in education and I won't be working over the Christmas holidays and am applying for jobs however I will have an income over the holidays. I also am into fitness and looking for someone to either workout too or show me some areas. I am happy to help out around the house and buy my own food and so forth. I will have my own bed.
We are two friends in our mid-twenties (29 is still mid, right?!), both working full time and relocating from Central Queensland to Brisbane on January 3. Yvette works as a beauty therapist and Aly is in journalism and communications. We have a small dog, a 4-year-old Mini Dachshund named London, who will also be coming along for the ride. We are looking for a third female to live with us in either a house or large townhouse in South Brisbane. The house will be fully furnished, except for your room. We are open to those who would like to be on the lease with us, or not. We are both super friendly, easy-going and love a celebration when one is called for. We are equally as hard-working, health-conscious and sensible when we need to be. In our spare time we love getting outdoors; going to the beach, exercising and hanging out with friends. We would like to live with someone who shares the same mindset as us; who can contribute to the household and get along with the banter, but also respect down-time and is genuinely honest and considerate. Ideally, we would like to live with someone who also works full time. Oh, and you must love dogs (and let's be honest, he'd be upset if he knew we were referring to him as a dog)! It goes down in the DM's - message us for more info! :)
Hey the names Dave I'm 24 and from Ireland. I moved to Brisbane in February and am currently a few weeks away from finishing my farm work for my 2nd year visa so am living out west at present.
