I’m a Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, quiet lifestyle, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. Young-at-heart, I've lived in lots of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident, worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, art house films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free, kid-free household to share with 1 or 2 adults (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates. While I enjoy watching an hour or 2 of TV (e.g. news, docco, The Chase or The Simpsons), I don't watch it most of the time. I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. I'm non-vegetarian and heterosexual - happy to live with vegetarians and/or LGBT people. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. I am interested in renting for at least 6 months. Move-in date flexible. References available.
I am an international student doing my Masters at UQ. I am fun, yet organised. I am concientious, clean up after myself and keep tidy. I will be working long hours so will not be home too much during the day. I love cooking and am happy to do a 'I cook, you clean' arrangement. I get along well with most people. I am a morning person, and will be up by 6am most mornings to go running. I do usually have music going but always at a respectable level. I would prefer to live with just 1 other person, however I am willing to look at a 3 bedroom place. I need to have access to the train or 66 Bus route as I will be working at hospitals next year. I am looking for January ONLY.
Hi, I'm Clare, 33 and I work full time with the government. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a clean and spacious house. I have no problems paying bond and going on a lease, and have never paid a bill late. I'm very used to sharehouse living, previously studied and worked shifts so I'm respectful of other people's timetables and downtime. I also like to have a tidy house so it would be a welcome change to live with people who do their share of the housework. I usually do my own thing and am looking for flatmates who are more or less similar, but also up for a chat and a glass of wine at times. When i'm not at work I'm at the gym, reading, or catching up with friends. Unfortunately the owners of my current place want to renovate and sell so i have to move on, but I can leave anytime up until 12th December. Having friends over is great, but I'm definitely not looking for a loud house or anyone who uses drugs, and I would like to stay pretty close to the city. Pet, LGBTI, student and shift worker friendly :)
Hi! I'm new to Brisbane and am looking for some nice, non-smoking flatmates to share with. I'm very considerate of others, and do my share of housework. I am relatively neat, tidy and fairly quiet, though I do enjoy socialising with people. I don't drink (other than special occasions) or smoke. l totally love dancing- swing, salsa, rockabilly and others. I'm pretty handy around the house, and a good gardener. I'm employed full time in Brisbane CBD in the APS, and studying part time. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and checking out the local cafes.
I'm a young working professional, work full time (Mon-Fri) in marketing, so can definitely pay my rent on time. Always tidy and respectful, plus I like to think I'm a pretty chilled chick. Happy to move whenever is convenient. Would love a nice, clean place with just a cool atmosphere. Play a few teams sports, and am quite social so I won't be cramping your space too often!
Hey guys, originally from France I have been living in Brisbane for over 8 years now. I just sold my unit and have 30 days to find great flatmates to live with :) A bit about me: I work full time as a professional in the city. I am educated, clean, trustworthy and respectful of others' privacy. Whilst I enjoy socialising, I am generally quiet during the week as I focus on work, working-out and living a healthy positive life. I am into the beach and outdoors, travelling, meeting new people, formula 1 and reading. I am looking to move in with some like minded people who look after their home and are clean and respectful. Lastly a couple of important things, I would like a room with its own aircon and own bathroom and I need access to a locked garage please. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Julien PS: I love dogs if that matters :)
I am a neat and respectful person, who is currently studying a double degree part-time at QUT, and working full-time as an Accountant in Fortitude Valley. Moreover, I enjoy being active - I run often, love cooking, and happy to share the responsibilities of house chores. I am looking to move into a place after the 4 November, also, if my personality suits, I intent to stay for over 1 year.
We are two laid back females who both work full time, as well as Jessie studying part time. We like to have our own space but we are always up for a beer or a chat, and enjoy being social on weekends. We have most of the furniture needed to furnish a house, and as such are looking to either start a share house with like-minded people, or move into a house that could accommodate our belongings. We currently live in New Farm, although are wanting to move from our current apartment to a house (we both want to get dogs). We don't want to live too far out of the city, and New Farm is our ideal location. We're looking at spending a maximum of $250 each, and are looking at houses that are 3-4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a maximum of $900p/wk. There are a few properties currently available in the area that we're looking at, so if you feel like you'd like to team up to start a rad share house then send us a message!
I'm Madison, I'm 26yr old nursing student, working part time. I'm a clean and organised person. I pretty much get along with everyone I meet. Looking for a place around in or around the surrounding areas of Morningside, Norman Park, Cannon Hill and Carindale. Must have air-conditioning! Unfortunately I can’t go over $170/week. Look forward to meeting you.
Georgia and I are a super laid back couple. We're v clean and like to spend most of our time hangin out in nature. We've got a van that we've decked out for camping so we go on plenty of trips when we're not working so you'll have plenty of time and space to yourself in your place. Hit us up if you want some cool gals to live with - We need a place (asap) until March when we go back to Narrabri to do some seasonal work!
Hi there! I'm a 28 year old professional working in IT. Specializing in Law firms and Medical Practices. My workplace is in Salisbury and I currently live down in the Gold Coast and travel up and down the coast every day. Its now time to make the move north and, closer to work. I love to make people laugh and get along with anybody. In my down time I tend to either work on IT projects, play video games, rollerblade, mix music, read comics or have a few quite drinks at home with fellow flatmates. I'm currently looking for a place for both me, and my cat friendly black cat Shadow. I look forward to meeting you soon! Steve
Hi all, I’m Luke, a friendly, laid back and sociable 23yo with a permanent full time job who is looking for accommodation with a good bunch of people that all get along and try to have fun. I am very easy going, love a laugh and a chat. I love getting myself out and about at the weekends, to gigs or out for a few drinks with friends. I enjoy heading to the gym or boxing classes most afternoons of the week ,but keep it fairly relaxed during the rest of the time. Love a bit of TV and Xbox too. I have a permanent job so no issues with the rent payment. Looking for similar minded people who are fun, motivated and respectful of others. Would love to meet any interested potential housemates over a coffee!
I am a full time professional, I am very chilled and easy going, I like socializing but also keep to myself sometimes after a long day at work. I work Mon-Fri, love yoga, spending time outdoors, beach, and catching up with my friends. I a looking for my own room, preferable with own bathroom.
Clean. Friendly. I cook delicious food. Work full time so I'm only home mornings, evenings and weekends. Vegetarian. Enjoy TV shows, movies and books. Have a fairly new car so would prefer off street parking Love pets but don't have to have one of my own.
Hey I’m Elise 26 year old nurse looking to move back to Brisbane for work.....I’m currently commuting from Toowoomba everyday! I have 2 beautiful Ragdoll cats, that I can’t bare to part with! They’re both house trained but honestly prefer to explore outside during the day. I’m enjoy sport playing and watching. I’m social enjoying a wee bevy when I can but am respectful of personal space.
I'm a really down to earth person, neat and tidy. I enjoy peace and quiet every now and then but also like to be sociable on weekends. I have an 8-year-old cavoodle, she only weighs about 4kgs so she doesn't need much room. I most likely wouldn't have her with me all the time as she'll be with my dad some of the time too. I work 2-3 nights a week until 1:30am so I normally sleep on my days off from uni. I'm looking to live with someone who I have things in common with. I'd love to live in a friendly environment with people I can call my friends. I'm looking to move around January/February 2018 next year and am interested in finding a place that's more long-term. If you think we'd be a good fit feel free to send me a message :)
Hey guys, We are a couple looking for a new place to call home. Preferably a granny flat or a large bedroom with a ensuite, something fairly private. We are clean, tidy and easy going. If I'm not working on the weekends we like to either go on adventures, spend time with friends/family or just relax at home. We will occasionally enjoy a couple of drinks and a night out. I'm a student nurse and work part time in the CBD, my partner works as a full time apprentice toolmaker. We hope to find some like minded people and look forward to hearing from you. Tara & Travis
Hi guys, I'm a 30 year old Australian non-smoker, working full-time in the digital team at Flight Centre. When I'm not destroying my liver at work's new rooftop bar, I spend most of my weekends out and about exploring what nature has to offer! Love surfing, camping, and generally anything that'll add a glow to my English inherited skin tone. That said, the odd hungover TV series binge isn't out of the question. Down? Most people would describe me as very cruisey, and always up for a laugh. My humour would be best described as a mix between Euphoric Queenslander Memes and Happy Gilmore. Should also probably mention that I'm tragic Broncos fan and I cried after the 2015 grand final. Cheers, Matt
Hello! I'm relocating to Brisbane within the next month to work and study (secondary education). I also own a very very social (house trained) Maltese X Poodle. I'm easy going, respectful and tidy - I am a Christian girl who loves going camping, hiking - or anything outdoorsy, but I do love a good Netflix binge every now and then! I will be working a few jobs and I am looking to team-up with someone (or a few people) to rent out a house or rent a room in an existing share house - around the Carindale (or surrounding areas). My budget is $175 per week (bills included). I'm social but I do value personal space and alone time. I am looking for someone who is mature, tidy, likes to keep busy, loves dogs and who overall just wants to come home to a friendly, fun, drama free, tidy house where they can just relax.

Hi there, I'm Nancy- full time student studying bachelor of Biomedical Science at QUT. I'm very happy to see your renting ads on flatmates. My boyfriend (Steve who is also full time student studying IT at QUT too) and I are looking for the room near our work place .We are doing part-time job at Cafe 63 on Racecourse Road near your house so it would be convenient for us. Moreover, we are also tidy, clean and easy-going people, sometimes we would have food at work and rarely cook at home. Finally it would be cute as you can consider and allow for us to rent that room. Thanks in advance.
