I'm 35 and a building supervisor. I have a 8 year old dog named Archie who is a well behaved pet who rarely barks. Recently separated from a marriage and looking for people of a similar age to rent with.
I'm a 24 year old British ex-pat now permanently living in Brisbane. I graduated from UQ (psychology) and work part-time in medical research. I plan on returning to post-grad study in about another year. I don't smoke, have no pets, and only drink on rare occasions. I enjoy living with, rather than just existing, in the same house as people. Love a good conversation but enjoy my down time as well as being out most evenings at dance class. My move out date is flexible but ideally looking for somewhere new from the start of January.
I'm a 23 year old full-time professional working in the supply and logistics industry. I’m looking to move to an area close to work in Wakerley but not too far from the city. I've been living in share houses for over 4 years and very respectful, clean and tidy. I enjoy my own space but always up for a chat over a glass or two ☺️ Please send me a message if you think you have something suitable 🏡 I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, my name is louise. I’m new to Brisbane and keen to find a place to call home. I work full time, keep active and eat clean. I try not to be home much. I’d love to find a house mate who is happy to have the odd glass of wine but also like my own space sometimes. I’m very respectful, clean and tidy. Would like to find someone with similar interests.
I am a very easy-going, calm-natured and comfortable person to live with. I don't have raging parties but I don't mind a get together now and then with friends as long as it is suitable for all involved. I work two jobs so I am always out. I am happy to give personal space to whomever I live with, but also happy to share a drink and a chat when is suitable. I have a older, quiet dog who I have shared custody with, so he would be there on and off once a week or so and used to be a therapy dog for hospital bound children.
I just moved to Brisbane from the Gold Coast and work for QCAT in the city so looking for a furnished room (just need a queen size bed) that is close to buses into the city. I am very clean and won't be there that much as I am from the Gold Coast so always down there of a weekend seeing family and friends. I am fun, outgoing and social. Would be great to meet flatmates that are friends to enjoy a meal or a drink with occassionally however it's not absolutely necessary and I understand we all have our own lives. I prefer a room with a queen bed, ceiling fan and built in wardrobe.
Hey guys, I’m Dylan and I’m 22. I’m looking to rent a place for a little while and see how it goes. I just got out of a serious 3 year relationship and I’ve gone back to my parents but i really need some space from them. I’m a self employed contractor that’s works 5-6 days a week . I have a great income and feel like I can really contribute to the house. I have a Ute which always comes in handy and always down for a close run ! About me. I’m pretty chill and will keep to myself a lot. All I do is work gym sleeep ! I don’t do much cooking as I love of protein powder and fruit haha so I will barely need the kitchen ! What I’m after. I’m not looking to be in a lease. I’m looking to pay 2 weeeks upfront and 1 week on the day I move in ! Much love !!
I moved to Brisbane a few months ago, and I am bringing my dog here in January, but unfortunately, my current place does not allow pets. I am looking to start a new sharehouse with friendly people who love dogs. I would prefer to live with social and friendly people, I don't know many people here yet so it would be awesome to make some new friends. I work full time as a hairdresser in Fortitude Valley. Tuesday - Saturday. I am active and I love to Travel. Also, I enjoy going out for a wine on the weekend and love to try new restaurants. Looking for something long-term.
I'm a quiet-type. No loud music, respect personal space and love animals. I'm just as happy sitting down playing games or watching TV/listening to music as I am to get out of the house and do some exploring. I work in office admin so I'm usually home during the weekend. Although kids are cool, I got my quota of entertaining them working at a theme park so won't be looking for a place that has kids. Would love to share with someone (or a few someones) that like to chill out and not take the world too seriously. I'm a smoker but only ever smoke outside. I have my own bedroom furniture (and a MASSIVE double-door fridge) so I'm looking for an unfurnished room at least. Also have my own car - so would need at least on-street parking. 420 friendly xo
Hi! I'm Regina and studying health science at Endeavour college and looking for a place more close to the city. I'm planning to move sometime between mid-December or early January. I'm into health and nutrition and I like to go to the gym, occasionally hike, yoga and read. To live with I'm considerate, respectful, like open communication and fairness with cleaning. I can be a bit quiet at first until I'm settled in and I value my own time and personal space but would love to have drinks together and go out on weekends if we're similar. I'd prefer living with people close to my age and also have off-street parking. Regina :)
Been here past 2 years doing my PhD, so have some household items with me and looking for an unfurnished room. Pretty easy-going, clean, and social but also, appreciate alone time. I've lived with guys and girls, so not fussed, but do prefer similar age housemates. I do leave couple months at a time for my research, but when I'm around, I enjoy catching up with a glass of wine after work, love cooking, and spending any free weekend outdoors hiking/camping/climbing etc. So if you also love all things under the sun, we'll get along quite well!
I'm 30 and from London and have been in Australia for 2.5 years and loving every second. I work as a HR Advisor, and also study very part time doing leadership and management. I like to be as active and busy as possible. I love the beach and being outdoors either hiking or camping, Anything where I'm exploring makes me happy. I'm a fun and sociable girl who enjoys meeting new people and am extremely clean and tidy. I am a positive person who sees the good in everything and like to be around like minded people. I have lived out of home since I was 16 so I am very well house trained and respectful when living with other people. I am wanting to live with people who will become my friends and not just people I live with
I'm James :) I'm a 21 year old (nearly 22) post-grad physiotherapist who just graduated this year and will be working full time at a hospital next year and am looking for a place to live. I moved down from the Sunshine Coast in my first year of Uni and while I've been studying I lived by myself for my first year in student accommodation and then after that have been living with my Aunty and Uncle. A bit about me: I'm a hard working person who enjoys being independent but am also more than happy to hang out and chill :) I'm also very tidy (my aunty can vouch for me there!) and I enjoy cooking. When I'm not working/studying I enjoy keeping active - playing touch football and running or swimming. I also enjoy reading and playing guitar…but not too loudly :) I don't smoke or drink (alcohol). But I still enjoy a good yarn.
I`m 26 year old Brazilian, studying and living in Brisbane for 3 months now. I am currently working everyday in Litton and studying Business on Thursday in the city. Want to find a private room out of the city and with more privacy. Must have air conditioner and be on walking distance to train stations
I enjoy the arts, holistic health and the natural environment. I have a sense of humour and am interested in current events. I am independant and respect others and appreciate respect in return as well as living with mature individuals. I enjoy the outdoors, animals, nature, and eco-friendly living and healthy lifestyle. I prefer peaceful, pleasant surrounds. I like my freedom. I enjoy conversations, am caring but also like to keep to myself at times. I am best living with postiive people in a positive healthy eco-friendly household. I work part time in health and health promotion. I have lots of interests so I am either doing different sorts of things (I like exploring places, ideas, experiences), some of the same stuff, as well as not much at all.
I’m a 27 year old Swedish girl, can be outgoing but also like keeping to myself occasionally. I spent the past 7 years sharing flats around London, so I’m very used to the concept. I’m reliable and responsible. Looking for a full time job here in Brisbane and would like to stay here for the summer!
I'm doing a PhD at QUT which is like a full time job :) Most of the day I am in the lab and in the evenings I do sport like crossfit, pilates or yoga :) When I come back home I usually just want to chill a bit and go to bed, so not really a party tiger haha. That means most of the time you will have the flat to yourself :)
Originally from Sydney, I've made my way up North living in the Hunter Valley, and currently in Gunnedah. I've only ever lived in share-houses and have had mostly positive experiences, with some really enjoyable dynamic groups of housemates. I currently work as a mining engineer and am about to start a FIFO role out of Brisbane, on an 8:6 roster, meaning I will only be home every second week (if I'm not travelling during my time off). I'm definitely one who prefers a night in with some Netflix and Wine, but that's not to say I don't like a night out with the right company! I enjoy my downtime as an opportunity to relax and de-stress so I can respect others need for privacy and solitude, but I'm always one for a chat too! My hobbies include: Cricket (currently recovering from leg and shoulder injuries) Music (guitar, piano, bass) Gym (rehab is a b****) Golf (plenty of room for improvement) TL;DR A housemate who will be out of your hair for most of the month, but when I'm around, plenty of good vibes :)
Hi we are looking for a new place as our current place has become unavailable for a new lease and our flat mates are moving interstate. Ideally we need our own bathroom and a large room to live and sleep in. I have a small well trained dog that is never left at home alone. My partner is from Thailand and I am Australian. I am a self employed landscaper and I spend most of my time working. Sometimes I have to work from home so a room big enough for a desk is desirable. I am well educated and I can’t live with people who regularly drink alcohol or use drugs. I’d like to live with people who are well educated and see things how it is. Must have a sense of humour. Must have job. I have land and a container from which I store all my tools and work materials. I also have all my “other” stuff in a container at storage facility. Therefore I travel light, ie I only need to bring minimal things to the room. (Bed, desk, clothes, gas Weber (optional), esky, bar fridge (optional) , girlfriend, dog and kitchen sink.) I have a classic car which I could store at my land but a secure shed/garage would be ideal. I need a secure place (outdoor is ok) to park my Ute as it usually has loose tools in the tray. Sometimes I bring my trailer home so room to park and turn around with a trailer would be convienient but not essential. I have a small well trained dog that comes to work with me during the week and often stays at my mother’s house on weekends. A room with outdoor access would be good but not essential. We return to Thailand several times per year. So Every few months we are gone for a month. I don’t steal or lie, I don’t have undesirable visitors. I pay rent ahead or on time.
Hey! I'm looking to move out mid February 2019 or a little earlier! I'm a uni student who works part time, and already have had experience living out of home. I'm pretty relaxed and don't mind a good chat, but still appreciate some time to myself. Looking to move in with easy-going, but also well-organised and respectful roommates.
Hi, I'm from the Sunshine Coast and am keen to find someone to live and potentially make friends with. I like spending the weekend going out to meet up with friends. I'm easy going and love a good laugh, but also appreciate some good quality downtime. I enjoy cooking/baking at home, but don't worry.. I clean up! I work full time in Brisbane Mon-Fri and tend to have a few hobbies that can keep me busy during the week. I have a car, but am flexible about parking. I don't have a particular date to relocate from my current location, however keen to move sooner rather than later.
