Hi I'm lochie, 21 and a student at Latrobe I am easy going and love hanging out yet also enjoy quiet time. I love sport and cooking. When I'm not studying i work part time in the city and hang out with friends. Due to unforseen circumstances i have to move out by the end of the year and have to find somewhere new to live. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated! Cheers
Hi, my name is Alonso. I am a mexican PhD student looking for a nice place to live in and interesting housemates to share it with. I am very relaxed, tidy, friendly, and curious person looking to meet some great new flatmates.
Hi, my name is Erica, I'm an outdoorsy creative person, I love gardening and adventure sports. I also have a piano which I play occasionally. I like a tidy house, a bit of shared time, a bit of me time. I'm a busy person working in health promotion 9 day fortnight. I spend a few nights a week out of the house and go away a bit on weekends. My move date is flexible.
Hi I'm Melissa, I'm a full time graphic designer/web developer for an agency. I enjoy playing guitar, seeing live bands, watching movies, video games, having a quiet drink, reading and anything related to dogs. I am very quiet, but happy to share common interests and be social with other housemates. I have no pets, although I am fine living with pets (I'm a qualified dog trainer and animals are awesome). I am a tidy, reliable person and happy to help out wherever I can. Ideally I am looking for a place close to the 86 tram line or South Morang train line for easy access to work and preferably a place to park my small car. I look forward to hearing from you :)
Hi, I'm Bel. I will be starting my postgraduate in speech pathology starting 20th January. I'm friendly and also respectful of others' spaces. I enjoy going out to explore the surroundings and also sunshine :) If I do stay home, I'll probably be studying, doing some light cooking or playing the ukulele. Looking for a clean and serene environment and easygoing housemates. I'm a non-smoker. My hobbies include traveling, pilates and hanging out.
Ideally looking to start a sharehouse with someone nice. Currently, working part time and completing my law degree in another 6 months time. I am Aussie citizen but my background is Indian. I am respectful, friendly and considerate. I appreciate the fact that people need space and I expect the same from the other person. However, I am also a friendly and caring person and very happy lend some company. I like clean environments though. Especially, toilets and kitchen. So, please be mindful of that. :-)
I'm very easy going and easy to talk to, and get along well with others... I'm very respectful and very tidy. I love to cook and I like to eat on the healthy side of things as well, and I don't mind cooking for others.. I'm very responsible, and make my payments on time , actually I've always been early lol... I don't drive, so with that being said, I do go on the good faith of pictures and descriptions give, and thus far haven't had an issue, so inspections aren't needed, but maybe a phone call to chat would be something I can do.
Hi, Currently working full time in the CBD, looking for a fun house/flat share in a new area and to meet some new people. I love dogs, don't smoke (but don't mind if others do!) Would say I'm a friendly, easy going person, who likes to be socialable and going out with friends. Love a good Netflix session at home watching movies.
We're to ourselves but can be social if someone is around the house. Very clean and tidy. We're just really great people.
Just moved here from the UK but lived in Melbourne for a while a few years back. My job (news editor for a tech/finance website) means I can travel a lot - was in Chicago for a while a couple of years ago - and so I'm staying here over the summer. Looking for somewhere for a few months with sound, relaxed people who wouldn't mind a beer in front of the TV every now and there. As for me, I try to be the goldilocks housemate - neat but not obsessive, friendly but not pushy, sociable but I'm not about to drag strangers back at 2am for a party. No fuss, no muss. Interests include books, films, music (I worked at a record shop last time I was here) and coffee, if that counts. Respectful of people regardless of colour, gender or sexuality.
Hi, my name is Ben. I am currently studying International Relations at La Trobe, but work full-time during the holidays (and part time during the school semester). I am pretty relaxed and easy to get along with, and am hoping to live with people who are keen to build a friendship, and enjoy having a beer or wine every so often. I do my best to live green by being energy conscious and sorting my recyclables. I like to keep my own area tidy but am respectful to those who enjoy living a little messier, and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty when it comes to chores around the house-hold. I like to socialise on weekends but keep pretty quiet during the weeks, as I work 5- 6 days a week or am studying. I am also supportive of an environment where issues and grievances within the house-hold can be discussed openly but respectfully so there is no tension between house-mates. I am looking for accommodation that is long term for the foreseeable future as I continue my tuition. I enjoy reading, movies, video games, skating and meeting new people.
Hi I am 21 years old and a student at La Trobe university, I am looking for a place stay.I am pretty quite, and easygoing and don't like too much noise, also very tidy and clean and spend most of the time studying. I am easy to live with as I don't like being nosy and involved in other people's business.
I am a pretty laid‐back person and easy to get along with ! I work as a consultant Pharmacist and I do locum work all over Australia sometimes I am away for 2 - 3 weeks and sometimes I am in Melbourne for months . I prefer quiet home but I am a bubbly person . I am neat and tidy and I am looking for a housemate who will be comfortable to have a conversation with but also respect privacy . I am a non smoker but I don't mind sharing with a smoker . I am fine with pets and love dogs I am looking for a furnished room as I do not have furniture and I prefer Brunswick , Coburg and surrounding suburbs
I am a 23 year old Biomedical Science graduate relocating from Noosa to Melbourne to start a Masters degree in Epidemiology at the University of Melbourne. I am a reliable, quiet, tidy and respectful individual who enjoys an active social lifestyle, with a balance of quiet nights in. I love to cook and indulge in all things food and wine related. Ideally I'm looking for longer term accommodation so I'd be happy to sign onto a 6 or 12 month lease. I am open to either furnished, or unfurnished accommodation as I have some pieces that can be transferred down from Queensland/I am able to provide or chip in for new furnishings. I can relocate down to Melbourne as soon as a place is available.
My name is jacqueline. My partners name is faton. We are desperately needing a home as of today. We teamed up with 2 backpackers who decided to stop paying rent. Which has forced the police to come and change the locks. We are currently homeless with two beautiful cats who are both toilet trained. Please get back to me asap. This would mean the world to us right now please.
My brother and I are both Australian Uni Students at La Trobe University Bundoora. So we are looking for two separate rooms. I am currently studying social work and he is starting a psychology degree next year. We are both tidy, friendly and respectful people who are looking to share accomodation with people who share similar qualities as ourselves. We are both social but are happy to keep to ourselves depending on our house mates. I currently have 3 pet rats which i keep tidy and in a cage inside ( in my room if prefered by others). So we would probably suit people who love animals or at least tolerate them. My Brother is gay and I am straight so we do not have any specific preference for housemates as long as they are respectful and accepting of the LGBT+ community. We are both non smokers, musical, creative, vegan and atheist (not preachy though). If it sounds like we would get along we would like to meet up to ensure it's an appropriate match for both parties :).
Becca - From the U.S. and am working full time. Just graduated from uni back home and am taking a year off from school here in Australia. Byron - Melbourne local studying full time and also working part time (~30 hours/ week) Both very independent in what we do and tend to spend a fair bit of time out side of the house. We do enjoy cooking at home most nights however are still up for checking out Melbourne's endless restaurants and bars. Have both lived in share houses before and like to consider ourselves respectful of all others.
Hi! My name is Lauren and I'm looking for a nice room for the beginning of Jan. I'm a relaxed, fun loving person and very social. I'm respectful of personal space and clean and tidy. Originally from NSW and starting my master in Physiotherapy in early January. I love sports, the outdoors, getting together with friends and health sciences. I look forward to meeting potential housemates and hopefully making life long friends in the process:)))

We're fun and sociable, but respectful and responsible too! We're moving to Melbourne to broaden our career-based horizons, and just need somewhere to stay for a few months whilst we find long-term employment and our own rental accommodation. Jamie: animal lover and foodie. Will be studying at La Trobe University, and hopefully working part-time, all while pursuing a career in the animal care industry. I make a mean pizza too! Jack: recent media/international studies graduate, and up-and-coming media personality (radio and TV hosting).
I am working full time early mornings, I am clean, courteous and respectful of other people and their belongings. I have a 10yr old son who stays with me every second fortnight. I am also a teacher of martial arts.

Hey , I am from California, 31 years young, and been living in Melbourne for 4 years. Looking for a friendly warm home with chilled wonderful people. I am into the outdoors, music, rock climbing, surfing and camping and the odd festival. The following would be some good indicators we would be a good match: - Flatmates that hang out a bit at home or outside on occasion - Kitchen is full of delicious smells and occasional dinner gatherings (I once opened an Outback Steakhouse in the middle of the desert, opened from 4am-7am serving sous-vide roo sliders) - House is not full of couch potatoes in front of the TV - Clean house with uncluttered common areas I design user experiences in health technology and have no problems paying rent on time and helping with any tech needs. In my free time I practice acupuncture/massage and design brass jewelry. Warm Regards Eric
Hey there! I'am a tidy and quiet person. I like beeing social but also enjoy time on my own. Its important to me to keep areas we share clean and tidy. Also its important to me to drink a beer with my house mates from time to time :)
Hi! I work casually in retail and full time as a model with a top agency. I'm currently living with the parentals and would love to break free! I currently live on the Mornington Peninsula but my whole life is basically up in the city and therefore I'd like to be close to the city :) I'm a fun person who would love to have pizza and wine nights, self-diagnosed coffee addict, I'm a respectful smoker, would love to live with someone who is easy-going like myself, lgbt+ & 420 friendly, and just an all around cool dude. Happy to set something up in regards to starting a share house or joining an existing one! Thanks :) Demi
I am a reasonably clean person. I am a person who can be approached easily. I consider myself open minded, so I'm sure I will not hold anything against you if that is what you believe in and stand for. Like any girl, I love shopping and food! I love the beach as well and I also try to stay fit by doing some sort of exercise. I am from Vanuatu, which is a country in the Pacific made up of a chain of small coastal Islands. I was born in Port-Vila, the capital. So, generally we all have really nice clean houses because it is a part of our upbringing. And when you go to other peoples houses to eat or something, you're usually expected to clean up without even being asked! This is a sign of appreciation and a way of saying thank you. I moved over to Australia in 2015 and it has been wonderful so far. I have learnt a lot of things just by living here, and i know that if i had not moved here I wouldn't have been able to learn the things I know now. I am currently in Brisbane but will be moving to Melbourne in less than two weeks. I want to experience Melbourne and see what it has to offer. I will be looking for work there asap! Please message me if you think I will be a suitable flatmate and you are happy to share a place with me, lets team up. Thanks :)
I'm Canadian on a working holiday visa in Australia for a year! I love being busy so truthfully, I won't be home too much. And when I'm home, I'm usually sleeping, listening to music, or watching Netflix! I love music and work in the industry, so shows and concerts is where I'm usually at! Living with me would be easy-- I'm nice, clean and fun, but also laid back at the same time!
We're a young professional couple with two dogs. We're looking for someone who's interested in saving money or getting debt free to help us do the same and the long term team/friendship that comes with it. We have good taste in music, food and people, but I guess everyone thinks that they do... We moved to Melbourne in October and want to team up to get a nice place as close to the city as possible for the best price possible - with a yard for the dogs (Tell him he's dreamin'). Steve: A Canadian Engineer working in Southbank and master of the meme, Steve's pretty stereotypical Canada in a lot of ways. He's an outdoorsman and fly-fisherman that does engineering as a necessity to fund his addiction to chasing fish. Also an aspiring ninja that hasn't reconciled the fact that his luminary childhood dreams of world domination will most likely never come to fruition. Sometimes prone to write SJW stuff online. Mic: Mic is an Australian that works in retail management for a national chocolatier. She's keen on live music, animals (her Facebook feed is literally about 75% raccoons, dogs and otters), a major foodie and Beatles fan. If you don't understand or empathise with the plight of women in the modern world, swipe left - or whatever you do on Flatmates... Mana and Mocha: Mana is a 4 year old brindle staffy X who has mastered the art of the guilt trip. Having easily the most expressive dog's face you'll ever see, she likes to lounge around or run around or do anything fun really. Her favourite place to be is snuggled with someone - or the park, or... y'know what? She just likes to be Mana, wherever that is. She does fart a bit, though. Mocha is a 4 year old tan kelpie with OCD. Whilst waiting for her food or begging for yours, she can be easily fooled into chasing a ball instead, which can then be used to your advantage to eat in peace or get her to go outside, etc. She's a snuggle magnet with a turkey neck. Great for winters in front of Netflix, but sometimes she gives you this really judgmental look, like "What are you doing with your life? Stop watching Mad Men and go outside for a bit." *Disclaimer* Not to be political, but we're left leaning tolerant people that don't subscribe to bullshit norms and get pissed off by cruelty to animals, which means that you can complain to us about your problems and get support to chase your dreams, but we won't clean up your shit or entertain revisionist bullshit that puts Tony Abbott on a pedestal. Hate isn't welcome in our lives. If you don't genuinely like dogs, it won't work - guaranteed. Oh, and Sunday morning is for homemade pancakes. It's a ritual. Sometimes I'll make crepes instead of pancakes, but it's usually pancakes with homemade mascarpone and some sort of fruit or chocolate sauce we've made. I can always make more to feed the house.
I am a friendly, hardworking 26 year old Female looking for a room to rent, a pool would be nice too! Haha. Preferably with people around my age bracket, and with people who will understand that I have an active social life (I work all different shift days/times, am out a lot with friends, at the gym etc). Would prefer to just have one housemate. Love sports, horror films, cooking, 80's tunes, going to the gym, beer lol. Am a clean housemate, who is considerate and motivated. If you want to know more please feel free to contact me and I would be happy to answer any queries :)
I am a fun loving and easy to get along. Moving to Melbourne in January on a PR Visa and hence will be looking to make new friends who can help me ease into the whole Aussie culture and help me grow into my new life. I don't booze or smoke and the kinda person who believes in minding his own business.
Greetings, the names Tayler, I'm currently from up northwest of Melbourne, approximately 50 minutes from the city (smack bang inbetween Bendigo and the CBD, to be exact). I'm looking for a place to stay closer to the City and to my uni (LaTrobe) to make commuting (and life for that matter) a little less painstaking. As for myself currently I am working for an events decoration company on a setup team, travelling around to fancy venues to setup weddings and corporate functions. Whenever it comes to speaking to a client onsite I'm the person my colleagues direct the client to. I'm frequently appraised for having a mad sense of humour, whilst being extremely mature when necessary. While I do still live at home, I strive to pull my weight in regards to chores and other errands, and always clean up after myself. I also ride a motorcycle so parking is less of an issue for me (yay someone gets two parking places!) My main hobbies are; Video gaming. Motorcycling. Reading. Programming and robotics. And the occasional culinary experimentation (no, Easy Mac does not count.) I'm also a pretty big fan of board games. What I'm looking for; Like-minded individuals who also have strong senses of humour! Potential long-term living (more than a year) depending how things go. A house equipped with NBN would be amazing *but it is not particularly a must* :) Please also note that this is my first time moving out, however don't let that sway you from contacting me, I'm a very easy-going, mature person who is keen to have good experiences with people who are not only my housemates, but people I can consider friends! Hit me up if I fit your quota! I'm happy to answer any other questions you have to ask and would love to meet-and-greet!
Kayla and I have both complete the HSC and are hoping to move to Melbourne to study. I will be having a GAP year to work full time, but Kayla will be studying all through 2017. We are supported by Centrelink. We both enjoy a good read, Kayla is vegan, I'm a vegetarian attempting to go vegan, but we're non-judgemental over what others eat. We're good at keeping our room tidy and can help out in anyway needed.

I have 4 years share house experience in Melbourne. 🤓I'm a easy going man and not a party animal. I don't drug or smoke. I always keep my room clean or tidy. Btw, I'm good on cooking. Hi everyone! Sadly my lease is ending and i need to find a new home and new housemates by the 10th December! I am 22, work full time at a hospital and obviously, pretty terrible at about me's. I've rewritten this whole thing 4 times but my internet keeps crashing, so i am going to give up. Until i find some more energy to write this again. I like going for walks and i really like puppies. I also like good conversations but i am asleep most of the time unless it's festival time. On top with rent/bills/cleaning i promise. Message me!!!!
Hai future flatmates, Am easy going and adaptable to any kind of situations. Am accompanied by my childhood friend who has very friendly nature of his own. Eager to explore and love for a chat during leisure time. I respect others privacy and keep my own to recharge myself at times. Appreciate neat and tidy behaviour.
My friend Jess (19) and I (18) are both uni students who study and work in the health industry. We are lively, hard working and responsible. Ideally, we are looking for an extra one or two (under 25ish) people with a similar mindset to team up and establish a share house scenario (or two rooms) in the suburbs surrounding RMIT Bundoora, where we both obviously study but work also.
Hi there! Name is Dani, I'm 19 working part time, and also studying. I love learning and am doing two courses at the moment. I like to chill with friends and maybe watch a movie, but also like to go out and try new things and have a good time. I'm not too crazy, but I am pretty free spirited. I have a white indoor cat named Hero, he is quite energetic and loves to play, but is deaf so needs a little comforting and direction sometimes. I'm looking for a place to stay in for at least a year, with some easy people to get a long with who are decently responsible and understanding and dont mind having a furry companion around :)
Heyy guys!! I just moved from the family farm to the city, I work in a law firm in Melbourne's CBD. I am friendly and always up for a chat, In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and being active. Feel free to call or text me :)
ABOUT ME: Friendly and proactive. Organised, tidy and respectful but pretty cruisey and easy going! I'm an ambivert, I enjoy socialising but also chilling out and reading. I'm usually out taking photo's at live music events, but enjoy unwinding at home as well. WORK: I work in the music industry in admin, PR and management roles - so I love music!!! I also teach music during school terms and am likely to be studying as well next year. WHO: Would love to live with people who can make the house feel like a home - a room mate family vibe but still have our own lives etc. People that are social and friendly and can share a laugh over dinner or the occasional drink / or tea on the couch with a movie or are happy to adventure outside to a park or garden also! Looking to move in January but am flexible with dates.

Hi there, I'll be working/studying next year and I'm looking for shared accommodation in the north or east. I'm quiet, easygoing but also social. I'll mostly be listening to music and playing videogames in my spare time but I really enjoy hanging out with interesting people. I'm approachable and non-judgemental, don't be afraid to ask me anything. Cheers.
Mature age chap. Very easy to get along with. Working full time. Selling house soon so need to find some accomodation. Very clean and tidy always ready to give someone a helping hand. Looking to pay any where from $100 for a simple room up to 200 with bills if it is more spacious and worth the extra dollars. Very reliable love sports, beach, watching worth while movies and good sit coms. Love to hear from you soon
Hey everyone, I'm Nick and I'm a sociable, well traveled guy who loves nothing more than to meet new people and share stories of good times. I'm a travel agent , I work set shifts between 6.30am -11pm on any given day of the week. I love sports, "trying" to cook, dinners with friends (at home or out) and just socialising in general. I do enjoy the odd beer or wine but my bender days are most definitely over so if you live in a place that is the place for after parties, I'm not your guy. I'm a clean and tidy bloke that's looking for a nice place to call home.
Hey, I'm Scott, and I'm making this ad on a Saturday night, while eating chicken schnitzel and drinking beer. Says it all really. I'm moving to Melbourne as of the 1st of January, from sunny/humid Brisbane; and I'd actually love somewhere to park my caboose at night! I'm gainfully employed, punctual with rent/bills, and respectful of space/cleanliness. I am a bit shy at first, and try not to impose on space or people or anything - but it would be great to make some new friends in town. In my free time, I kind of run the music/video games/tv gamut (if you're excited for RPDR S9, hmu), and I love to bake desserts (plus I clean up after myself). What am I looking for in a share house? I need somewhere to stay short-term, around four weeks to two months, and furnished; everything else is open to negotiation.
