I am working full-time in the tourism industry. I would love to live in a furnished studio, granny flat or 1 bed room unit. I like leafy suburbs and close to the train station so I can get to work in the city. I would like to move on Saturday 14 July.
Hi there! I'm a 2017 highschool graduate from Cairns and moved to Brisbane 5 months ago to study at Griffith University :) I am currently looking for a new place to live! :) I love sport and I absolutely love my friends and family! I often like to go out and explore different areas and I'm not afraid to experience and learn new and different things! I also love meeting new people and am always up for a chat! I do love my friends and like to be out-and-about and social on the off occasion, but you will most likely find me studying, reading a book or watching a movie - I do love my downtime. I am a respectable, quiet person who generally keeps to themselves but still enjoys interacting with different people. I like to keep myself presentable (most of the time except for when I wake up and look like a zombie) as well as keeping the areas around me clean. I am an extremely excitable person and have an overall bubbly personality but I also know boundaries and when to be respectable :) I love eating watermelon and am a full-time dog patter and animal lover!
Looking at moving out of home. I will be bringing a large lovable doggo with me, who is playful and loves people. I take full responsibility for her and her business so would just need someone who likes animals and is down to give a few pats every now and then. I am currently a full-time uni student but do work part-time. I know how to pull my weight with cleaning but also require the same respect for shared workloads when it comes to the housework. Ill keep to myself but i'm always down for a drink and a laugh.
I am a full time university student studying a bachelor of criminology and forensic science at QUT. I am set to graduate in December and am wanting to undertake my Honours in 2019. I work part time (usually 3 days per week) as a guest service agent for a 5 star hotel in the city. I can either work early mornings or late nights. I am an avid traveller and will likely spend a few months out of every year overseas. I don't have any pets except a Thai Gourami fish named Mike, who I will be bringing with me. Ideally, I would love to have somewhere where its okay for me to have friends or family visit/stay with me occasionally. I am an avid lover of curling up on the couch with a blanket for a movie night or just having a chat about the day we've just had. I'm the kind of person who's pretty much always down for a conversation, but as a uni student, I also respect the need for time alone. I would love to have the occasional Netflix marathon or head out into the city and do lunch. I am not simply looking for a room (let's be honest - you can find that anywhere), I'm looking for a home with people I can enjoy returning to and seeing at the end of the day. I am a non-smoker, definitely not a party animal and more than capable of doing my fair share of whatever needs to be done.
I am friendly but enjoy my own space, clean and tidy, love gardening, photography and reading. I am respectful of others, genuine, always pay rent and household bills, love animals especially dogs, a bit of a greenie, Dont sit up watching tv all night. Have been known to pet sit for housemates and family and friends :)
I'm Aaron, 26 and work full time in marketing. I have been living in share houses for the past 4 years. I am a clean and respectful housemate who doesn't mind socialising but will also respect your privacy. I enjoy playing sport, in particular volleyball.
I am a retail manager, so work full time. I am easy going, I clean up after myself and I am respectable. I am fairly quiet during the week and usually try to head to the gym. I don't mind a cheeky drink or two over the weekends though, but don't go crazy. I do like my down time, but I am also always up for a chat.
Recently got back from overseas and looking for a new place for me and my dog. I have a 3 year old cattle dog cross, her name is Flame and she is completely house trained and very friendly. Looking for a laid back house with housemates who like to be a little social. I'm very respectful of privacy & personal space. Would ideally like to form friendships with my future housemates. I work full time Mon-Fri and am usually out on weekends at the coast with my dog or having drinks with mates.
Clean & tidy and a great cook. I also study and work so I usually keep to myself and am pretty busy. I do have a puppy (minature foxie) and I would love a place that is also able to take her =)
I'm currently only looking for people to sign on with me at the following ad https://flatmates.com.au/P630988 if a couple takes the large room rent will be 107.50 per person/week or large room 160 and smaller room 140 I am friendly and happy but a little bit shy so I often will be happy to keep to myself in my own room. I work part time at mcdonalds and won't often host any of my own events with friends. I like to keep my surroundings rather clean. I have a queen size bed, a desk and a chair for my room, I have fridge of my own if we need more cold storage space or it can just go into storage.
I'm a 28-year old ESL teacher and I work in the city. I am looking for somewhere south of the river to experience living on the other side of the river :) When I'm not working, I like to socialise. I'm a member of the local Rotaract club (community service group). I like to cook, bake (which my students love), read, watch TV and dance (Latin dancing especially). I love getting out of the city on the weekend for a bushwalk/hike and I'm keen to be a little more active during the week. So if you could help with that, that would be great! I am a very clean and tidy person who values her quiet time but also love to have a glass of wine and a chat :)
I come from Taiwan, a subtropical country, but get fascinated by the Aussie lifestyle. Don't want to be part of those Asians who don't talk to other people, would like to communicate with people in English. I'm well-behaved and got no strange habit. Though on working holiday, I don't tend to live a life that is out of control, yet I do crazy things. Willing to do the chores and keep the house clean as everything hasn't gone too far. Thinking the point of sharehouse is not only to live under the same roof but to connect with flatmates.
Hi there :) I'm brand new to Brisbane and don't know a soul, looking for some cool/respectful housemates to live with! I moved here for work from Perth, and will here for a minimum of 6 months (but might be more!). Ideally would like air-conditioning as I've heard that it gets pretty sweaty in QLD, some sort of parking option and maybe close to public transport. I will have a car so open to driving to work (Merivale St) but would love to have the option both ways. I'm 26, work full time in HR/CEP and generally keep to myself during the week but love a good chat whenever and some fun over the weekend. Definitely looking to pick up some sort of hobby to keep me busy while I'm away from family too. Please let me know if you have any qs! Aimee
My name is Victoria, I am a young professional working in the city. I am looking for a room to rent for approximately $160 (+/- $20) per week inclusive of bills and internet with an off the street car park for my small car. Must be with clean and tidy people. I am not fussed about location as long as it has a bus stop/train station within 50 metres of the front door which goes straight to the city. I am easy going, tidy and respectable. I don’t drink, won’t be having parties, don’t smoke and don’t have any pets. My boyfriend stays with me for one to two nights every fortnight. If you don’t have a big fridge, I have a smallish fridge which I would like to bring with me. Room can be furnished or unfurnished. Please message me on flatmates.com or call or text me if you have something available.
Hey I'm Mike, I work full time as a designer in Toowong. I'm pretty chill throughout the week and tend to be pretty quiet. By the time I've worked out and eaten dinner it's usually late enough to wind down. Weekends I try to get out of Brisbane and head to the beach or go for a hike. I love socializing and wont turn down a few drinks, but I'm by no means a party animal.
I’m going to be honest I like to drink and I smoke. I’m just looking for a place where I can get along with my roomies/ make friends who I can share good household habits with. I’m very clean and organised and enjoy cooking or socialising but also prefer to have some time to myself to finish off extra work I bring home or complete my studies and watch tv. I’m super chill and easy to get along with. I work five days a week mixed shifts and if I’m not out on the weekends I’m probably chilling in my room. I’m more leaning towards looking for team ups but if you think I might be another addition to your place then hit me up.
I’m South Indian, settled in Australia since 5 years. I’m a very quite and tidy person. Also loves to make friends and hangout together.
