27 years old.. relocating from brisbane to townsville! Will be working full time.. I am easy going bubbly and veru sociable although not having many friends in townsville I will be a rather quiet housemate. Hoping to find a perfect sharehouse with young people around my age to help my move to townsville be smooth and fun :)
I am starting in first year again at uni with a vet degree, hoping it to combine it with all the science I've studied so far to end up being a research vet. I have experience living in share houses, and while I'm not partying all that much, I do like having someone I can have a chat or drink with every now and again. I don't have any pets with me, but am fine with other people's (especially dogs!!). I'm pretty clean and tidy, and clean up after myself pretty quickly. It'd be good to live with people who have the same cleanliness mentality. I should qualify for Austudy, and am getting in contact with some vet clinics to see if I can find some casual vet nursing work, so paying rent on time will not be a problem (and has never been a problem in the past). I will try get involved with some sport and outdoor clubs while I'm up there, as I very much like combining my socialising with my exercising. I will be driving up from NSW with my little car, so can fit in my bed, but not a lot else in terms of furniture. If you've got a place in which you think I could fit well, please let me know!
Hi! So I'm from Sydney and am moving to JCU to study full time. I'm currently unemployed and my parents are helping me fund my living costs in Townsville until I find a job up there (which is what I'm currently doing now). I'm very keen on sports and social events. I'm an avid runner, hiker, cyclist, scuba diver (especially so, since I've recently been qualified with a licence). Because of this I'm generally a morning person. I love to cook! And am super fine with cleaning up after myself. I'm respectful, quiet (when needs be haha) and am easygoing. Despite being very keen on social events and parties, I am very studious and studying will be my first priority, however I am totally fine with noise and people whom work busy shifts (I understand as I, too, do shift work here in Sydney). I love animals (at home I have a dog and cat) and have absolutely no problem with having them indoors. I don't mind outdoor smokers however I would really truly appreciate a listing which doesn't allow for indoor smoking. ***Please note*** that as my home, family and friends are in Sydney, I will be back in Sydney for my uni breaks. These periods include: - Mid June-Mid July 2018 (1 month) - November 25th 2018 - February 10th 2019 (date is not completely set however the 3 - 3.5 month period away is a good rough estimate for how long I will be gone for). - Overall my total time spent in Townsville will be 8 months. Because of these conditions I am looking for a listing which will be flexible with this. I am new to the 'moving out of home' scene and am a bit nervous with moving states and starting a new lifestyle, I would really appreciate a listing who is welcoming, helpful and close-nit.
Hey Hey! My name is Rachel and I am looking for a place to call home :) I am 25 years old and am moving from Melbourne to Townsville to study at JCU. I am very friendly and outgoing and love a good chat, even if it’s sharing a meal together after a long day. I do like my own quite time - though if there is a good movie/tv series on, I’m down! I am also very respectful of others and am always courteous. I'm quite active and I love soccer and working out so it would be awesome to find some housemates with similar interests - if not all good :) haha
Hey! My name is Emma, I'm 24, from Geelong Victoria and looking for my new home while I study at JCU! I'm pretty easy going, a little awkward at first but I'll soon come round! Love a chat, eating out and a cheeky drink or two! I can also be quite the hermit and will happily bunker down on the couch for a Netflix binge or to devour a book. Love coffee, brunches and the odd late night Maccas run! I'm pretty laidback, but won't leave huge messes behind either. I've been accepted into Veterinary Science so I'll be studying A LOT, but that also means pets are a definite plus! I'd love to actually be friends with my housemates rather than just sharing rental costs. Hit me up if you think we'd get along! I'm hoping to be up Townsville way in the first week of Feb. :) A room with a bed would be preferred but not essential!
Hey I’m Kathryn, moving to Townsville from the Snowy Mountains in NSW to study Vet Science. Looking for a friendly, clean place to live for myself and my two super adorable, super well behaved dogs. Looking to move around the first week of February. Please contact me if you have a place that would be suitable.
My main asset is that I am a clean/tidy freak. No one ever has to clean up behind me. I am quiet & very trustworthy. I am a homebody & outgrown the party life, but, I can still be a fun person. I can take a joke as well as give it. Love watching movies & the occasional alcoholic beverage.
I’m easy going and very easy to get along with and a Clean person. I work in hospitality so I’m always in and out of the house for work on weekends and through the week. I have a small dog who is 5 years old and an inside/outside pet. Exercised regularly. She’s very friendly and loves people and gets along with other animals fine.
Leaving Brisbane to study a Graduate Diploma in Tropical Biology and Conservation at JCU! Looking for a share house with some friendly people as I'll be new to Townsville. I'm pretty easy going. My interests include reading, cycling, scuba diving, wine, and cheese. I'm flexible on the lease length (between 6 and 12 months). If there's anything you'd like to know don't hesitate to ask!
Neat, Tidy, Quiet. Easy to get along with. Plenty of share house experience. Working as a Supported Living Facilitator (Disabilty Services) 30 hours a week. Looking for a clean living environment offering occasional socialising where I will be able to work on personal projects in my room during days off. Not adverse to housemates hosting guests providing everyone behaves in a friendly and respectful manner.
Hi all.I am a student who will be looking to work part time.I will be attending James Cook University. I’m an easy going guy. Might be a little shy at the beginning but once you get to know me I am a fun loving person. Like to keep the place very clean and tidy. Not much of a party person,so I won’t be messing around with the place. Gym going guy. Personally I don’t have a pet but have no problem if you have one.
Hey! I'm a quiet and chill housemate. I work, study and have a pretty involved hobby so you won't see much of me. I prefer Netflix than partying so not looking for a party house. I have a beautiful kitty cat called Hodor who is friendly and loves affection, so looking for a place with either no pets, or other cats only. No dogs sorry. I look forward to hearing from you!
I am a tidy, 2nd year Uni student with a steady income. I enjoy socializing and being part of a household. I have been renting in Townsville City for the past year. My flatmates have broken the lease on our current apartment and as such I would be looking to move in as soon as possible. Eager to team up! send me a message!
Hey! I'm looking for a place to call home while I complete my Masters (marine biology) at JCU. I live a pretty active lifestyle during the week but always up for drinks/chats/fun. I'm into sports, music and my latest hobby is diving. I have done the share house thing for the last 6 years so I am generally pretty clean, considerate and helpful! Hope to meet you :)
Currently studying in Cairns, moving to Townsville to study courses that are not avaliable in Cairns. Both currently work and hoping to find jobs once we move. Both easy going, enjoy being active and socialising but study hard and keep to ourself when necessary aswel! Can be flexible on our move date, but preferably around 03/02/2018. We also have a car that we will happily carpool with to university 😁
I am a 28 year old male, currently at the end of my lease for my currently accommodation in Townsville and would like to contact or meet anyone to possibly have a look at sharing accommodation or in need of filling accommodation replacements for the new 2018 year. I am interested in any living arrangements and would like the opportunity to meet new people as well. I am currently studying and in my final year of my bachelor of science and I work on my holidays as a contract labourer and also when ever I have spare time from my studies. I am very relaxed, polite, tidy and friendly with anyone that is social and friendly in return and get along well with anyone. I like to occupy my spare time by exercising, fishing (although I am not very good), relax in front of the TV some days and others venture out and socialize with friends and family. I am open with everyone that would like to know abit more about me. I look forward to hearing from you guys and the opportunity to start a new outlook on living for the new year...happy New year! Sincere regards, Paul O'Neill
Hi I'm Rafa, a 24 year old international student (postgrad psychology) from Germany. I'm about to start my semester abroad at JCU in February, thus looking for a furnished place to stay during the semester (4 1/2 to 5 months). I arrive in Townsville at 2 February. As far as I can say, I'm an openminded, friendly and honest person. I get along with most of the humans and animals and I enjoy meeting new people. As i grew up having 3 siblings, I like having people around me. Still, having some time for my self is important to me too. I'm a Non-Smoker, I like pets and I enjoy doing sports, preferably outside. My Hobbies include playing basketball, calisthenics and listening to live music. I love to be outside as much as possible, visiting beaches, getting to know the area and landscape. Feel free to ask me anything. I'm looking forward to hear from you.
Hi I'm a full time student at JCU looking for either shared accommodation or teeming up to rent a place. I'm very easy going and clean. I'm always up for socialising whether it's over a drink/food/ binge watching shows, in saying that I do respect everyone's personal space.
