Hey there! Looking for a place to live for the next 4-12months. I am keen on seeing different areas of Melbourne so don't mind if it is only a shorter-term lease. My selling points: often out of the house, will contribute indoor plants and wafts of delicious food down the hallway. Will happily keep to myself or have a chat. Have lived in many share houses around the world so know the drill. I am clean (very keen on the idea of a cleaning schedule) and considerate of space (will clean up my stuff when finished on the table and try to use the kitchen when no ones else is). Me: - I have just finished up a Sociological research project on dating apps (very interesting) and am currently seeking a social-science research position for 2019, considering a PhD for the year after. - I play field hockey and generally like to be active. - Typical millennial who likes travel and food. - Non-typical millennial who doesn't like social media. What I'm looking for in my housemates: Don't have too many expectations but definitely get along more with people who are open-minded and accepting folk. Regardless, I am keen on housemates who like to communicate when they have issues (I will do the same) so we can discuss, compromise and continue on with a happy and sustainable housemate relationship. What I'm looking for in my new dwelling: ~10min walk to a train station (or tram directly into the city) Anywhere in the South-East or Eastern suburbs. Medium to lots of natural light.
Ian is 27, from Scotland and has been in Australia since February 2017. He is a roof tiler, works full time and has a job lined up for when we arrive! Gabby is 29, has just graduated nursing and has accepted a position at a hospital to start in early February next year. Originally from Melbourne but has been living on the Sunshine Coast since March 2017 for a little break and to study. We also have a little cat called Pippa, who is very friendly, cuddly and quiet. She will probably head butt you for pats, but other then that, she's pretty chill. (She will for sure stalk you if you're eating ham though) She’s already in Melbs with family at the moment but I really would like to get her back ASAP if it suits the house we move into. We are both very easy to live with, very tidy and aware that we are sharing a space with other people and to be respectful of that. We also get down with wine and socialising but just not every weekend anymore ... you know .. saving and that. We are moving between the 6th-12th of January. PS. I tried to upload a photo of the two of us but it cropped me out so you have a lovely close up of Ian and it won't let me change it lol. Apparently, it likes him more than me.
I am a Canadian uni student coming to Melbourne for an exchange trimester at Deakin. After the trimester ends in June I plan to stay in Melbourne to work until returning to Canada in December. And of course I would not mind studying together, or learning Spanish, barista courses etc. etc. I like ciders. I don't mind if you have pets. I am a good listener. I work in Pandora as a Christmas casual, but m not busy in working.

Hey guys, I am looking for a room (private and fully furnished) around central and east side (Melbourne). I’m a Singaporean student studying Law and HR in Deakin warping up the last year. I study full time and work and intern. Pretty occupied most of the time. I’m social, talkative and generally the life in the room. I am a definite people person, get along with most people, but at the same time enjoy my private time. I love my good bottle of red, a good show, and cooking up a stir fry or a curry. I read bits and pieces, want to get back to playing my guitar. I also spend a lot of time in parks and nature and am responsible and clean, and expect the same from others. Just a uni girl looking for great people to live with. There you have it, a chill 22 year old that would love a share house. Feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions(: Thank you! -Berlin
I'm an expat from Canada that fell in love with Australia two years ago and hasn't left since! I currently work full time as a venue manager for Maniax Melbourne, so if you're ever looking for a free axe throwing adventure, I'm your girl. I used to be a fitness instructor at a trampoline park, so I'm a gym junkie with a pancake obsession (maple syrup goes on EVERYTHING), as well as a home owner myself so I know how important it is to be a great tenant and housemate. Bonus: I have a Costco membership and a horrendous drunk baking habit so you can finally buy your toilet paper in bulk, and munch on whatever goodies I create over the weekends!
I am working full-time for the government in the city. I recently arrived back from a year in India/Nepal. I love the outdoors - hiking, gardening and sports. Looking for a place that is communal and if possible with scope for a garden. Currently living with my sister on the Peninsula and looking to move closer to the city for work.
Well grounded irish female moving from Perth to Melbourne for a new job and seeking a nice safe and modern rental for myself or a room in a home that is quiet. I am a Consultant, who leads a quiet life but has a bubbly and outgoing personality. Non smoker/drinker/drug taker/partier. Into health and fitness, meditating, self development, reading, learning new things (currently learning to dj as a hobby), making natural products. I am respectful of others and not looking for a housemate to entertain me or vice versa. Clean and tidy and pays rent & bills on time. Looking for a place to myself or to share with one other person maximum, someone who is like minded, leads a quite life and is respectful of another persons quiet time and space (no couples please). Move date will be mid January 2019.
Looking for a houses with 2 bedrooms, for me, and another for the other occupant. I'm clean, non smoker, professionally employed and looking for a long term lease. Would prefer to share with a single woman as I have school aged female children.
I am starting a Masters of Writing and Publishing at RMIT next year, and am hoping to move closer to the city to cut down travel times - at the moment I am also working in the city. I am looking for a change of scenery after living in share-houses in the eastern suburbs for the past 5 years, so somewhere in the inner east, inner north or south would be ideal. I am looking to move early January 2019, but this is pretty flexible. I am looking for a cat friendly house with yard space. The cat is nearly 2 years old, and is shy, but fully house-trained. I have all my own furniture so nothing will be required for the room. I also have a car, but I'm pretty flexible regarding this as I don't use it much. I am reliable with bills and cleaning and always keep my space tidy. I've had several years experience living in sharehouses, and have been the head tenant in the past. I'm pretty quiet to live with, but I appreciate a friendly and fairly sociable household. I enjoy board games, movies and cooking, and am pretty easy to get along with.
I'm a pretty easy going gal, i like to go out on the weekends and i'm also pretty social during the week. I like spending time around my house and decorating. I really enjoy making a space a home, cooking for my flatmates (if they like what i eat - im pretty clean, with the occasional pizza) and Id prefer to live with people who like to chat (not all the time, i wont badger you!) and want to spend some time together watching TV and joining friends. I'm new to the state so am looking to make and expand connections with people. Ive also travelled a fair bit and im always up for an adventure when im not at work. I graduated this year from a university in the UK but i am also part australian, being brought up in SA.

Hello! I'm a backpacker from the US. I just arrived in Melbourne and I'll be here until I leave Australia in March. I'm looking for a room in a place that is social, but not a party house. I'm a great cook and a very neat and considerate flatmate. I speak Spanish and I'm trying to learn German. I love sharing stories and laughs over a drink.
We're both easy going. We're friends from highschool and enjoy gaming and a beer here and there. I'm pretty social, im gay and into health and would like to become vegetarian. I am working part time in knoxfield and studying enviro-engineering in melbourne so would prefer to live 15min walk from a station inbetween, (i drive). Ariel is more introverted, he's curremtly living in seville and will be getting a closer job after the move.
Hi all, My name is Ashley, I am a 28 year old counsellor doing my Master of Professional Psychology part time. I am looking for 2 friendly girls to live with in a sharehouse long-term. I am tidy and easy to get along with, but also enjoy my own space and respect other's privacy. Looking for a quiet place where I can relax and have some peace, but also have a good chat and share the odd glass of wine or meal with housemates. I enjoy running, catching up with family and friends, true crime podcasts, Outlander and baking. Ash:)
Hi, my name is Ankit. I just finished Master in Sport Management from Deakin. I am working with Advanced high performance which is into Football skill development. I am easy going, vegetarian but flexible with non-vegetarian flatmates as well. I love attending networking events, sports events, exploring new things, travelling etc.
I am coming back from an exchange in Amsterdam and I need a new place to live while I complete my final year of university! I am studying sustainability and environmental management at Deakin, Burwood. I had a casual job at McDonalds which I'm sure I will be able to get back, but if not, my centrelink payments and savings are more than enough to pay for my rent until I find a new one. I have lived in three different share houses since moving out at 18 and have always paid my rent on time. I am a very organised and clean person and I would like to share a house with just one, two or perhaps three housemates that also know how to clean up after themselves. I also have a pet snake, I always keep her enclosure in my room. I know that not everyone is comfortable with the idea of living with a snake, and if so I promise you will never have to see her.
Hey there, my name is Brianna (or Bree to my friends) and I'm a 19 year old girl moving to Melbourne in February. I currently live in Gippsland and working as a lifeguard for my local council pools. Next year I'll begin studying International Development at ACU, hence the big move. I took this year off to work so that I could spend as much time travelling as possible. I spend very little time at home as I'm always out on my next adventure, even if that's only down to the local Kmart! I enjoy socialising, will always be up for a chat, a drink or an adventure, but I do also really value time to myself. I'm looking for some housemates to rent a house in the Northern or Eastern suburbs of Melbourne from February onwards. My budget is flexible but I'm not looking to spend any more than $200 a week. I would be happy to either team up with some girls who are looking in the same area as me or move into a room someone has available. If you'd like to get in contact with me a little easier, email me
I'm easy going guy, after work I usually chill out but my plan is to go to some language exchange meet ups more regularly when I find a place to move out, I'm making it my new year's resolution. I'm clean, I try really hard to make sure I'm not leaving any dirty dishes and that I clean them and dry them as soon as I'm finished using them. I don't mind scheduals if the person or People I'm living with like to work this way to keep the house in order. I'm a floor laying by trade I work from Monday to Friday 7am to when ever depending on how busy my day gets and occasionally weekeds. I always cook for my self, not really the type of person to cook a feast for others because can't be bothered sorry. Things I like to do for fun and in my spare time would be going to see a good band, Excersising, catching up with friends. Traveling, sketching random things that pop into my head, Learning to play guitar. Things I'm looking for When living with other people are respect, relaxed nature, tidiness, reliability, no pets ( I dont like feeling I have to look after other people's pets if they go away on holiday or for some other reason, that's all) I would also like to have access to off street park for security of having all my tools on my car. Well that's a bit about me, I look forward to talking to you soon Cheers :)

Generally keeps up with the uni activities and is pretty active on campus with events and clubs. Sociable and forms good relationships with roommates. Has a car and will need to park it somewhere. Also needs a desk to setup a productive working space. Chris would also prefer to have a furnished apartment, but would also be flexible.
