We are an uncomplicated and flexible couple looking for a room to stay for our study abroad at Swinburne University. I (Artur, 31) am studying a Master in Business Engeneering and my girlfriend (Jella, 25) is studying Banking and Finance. We are not partyanimals but we are open for a nice evening accompanied by a good wine and good conversation, and also for a beer in the next pub.
I'm 30 years old and have lived in Melbourne for 4 years. I work full time as a cafe manager. I recently left uni as I'm in the process of purchasing my own cafe in the near future. Ideally, I would love a room in a house (something with a little backyard would be great) as I have been living in apartments for the last few years. I like to cook and have a glass of wine though through the week I tend to lay low as I have an early start in the mornings. I have a fair few plants to bring with me :) (and some furniture if needed). I'm quite tidy and very respectful of others. I'm just looking for cool new housemates and a lavish new place to call home :)
HEY THERE FUTURE FLAT-FAMILY! Looking to move in ASAP and stay until the end of June this year. Happy to send bank statements or pay a month's rent in advance. Visa, ID, references from earlier flats etc. are all available. - I'm Ellie, a 26-year-old Graphic Design and Marketing student, who are looking for some friendly faces to share a home with during the months to come. - I'm originally from Sweden, but during the last couple of years I've been bouncing around the globe for both studies and work. I absolutely love meeting new people and my lifestyle has made me very adaptable and used to live with different people with mixed backgrounds. The ideal home for me is somewhere where respect is shown for each others daily lives, where one can comfortably take time alone whenever needed, but also talk shit over a cuppa in the shared space and actually get to know each other. I'm tidy and simply care about the place I live in. - During the semesters I'm all about my studies, yoga, drawing, and cooking veggie food (we can already sort out that it wasn't me who stole that bacon in the fridge alright!). However, I have a soft spot for music festivals and live music, so please come out with me or take me to some of your favourite gigs when we have time off! - Think we would have a good time living together? Feel free to send me a message and I'll pop over to see the place and meet you in person. I'm currently Airbnb:ing in the CBD. Looking forward to it, enjoy your day!
Hello future Housemate/s. I'm Tayla a 22-year-old working full time in real estate in Oakleigh so I'm pretty busy Monday - Friday’s & the occasional Saturday. Although I'm young I'm very mature for my age. I've lived in Melbourne for 2.5years now and I love it! Previously I lived at home in Ballarat as well as spending a year in Wellington, NZ and also Hong Kong for a few months. This means I know how to look after myself and how share houses work. I'm really chilled to live with and tend to do my own thing but wouldn't mind having a housemate to hang out with as well as a shared meal maybe once or a few times a week. I'm clean, outgoing, fun, respectful and also have a netflix & Stan account which I'm happy to share. I also have brand new house goods if needed otherwise can be stored (tv, washing machine, fridge, toaster,BBQ etc.). I'm not a party animal but do go out with friends a few times for dinner and a drink. On my days off I like to make sure the house is clean and tidy as well as doing the groceries but if I'm not in Melbourne you can usually find me visiting family in Kensington & Geelong! I'm looking for a place with girls around my age so if you have a room for rent or are looking to team up feel free to send me a message! cheers!
I'm studying Events Management at Napier University in Edinburgh. Although I'm originally French, but i've moved around a bunch, so if you need tips on europe let me know! I love to travel, so here I am in Melbourne for 4ish months for a semester abroad! I enjoy cooking at home, exploring cities and the surrounding nature, and checking out as many unique events as I can. I keep things clean, respect others areas and aim to be an understanding. communicator (in case there's any issues, we'll try to sort something out). Message me if you have any questions!
I'm chill and I like to bake goodies. I also like to play guitar, basketball and find vacuuming relaxing. I like plants. I have a few. I also have a bike. I like to ride it. I like to make people laugh. I love coffee. I like a lot of other things too. I work full time at The Gordon TAFE. I identify as a comedian.
I'm Jake, a UX writer originally from Manchester who loves swimming, cooking, yoga (when I can be bothered) and writing - whether that's UX stuff or my own short stories, poetry and so on. I'm moving to Melbourne and will be free from the 14th March onwards. Top 5 things I'll want to do when I get out there are: 1. find some good places to eat 2. get some contract work 3. Start cooking for my flatmates 4. make some new friends, and take them to places I found in 1 5. Get out into the local spoken word/poetry scene. If you can help with any of those or, even better, want to live with me while I discover all of those things for myself (and you!) then hit me up. As long as I have my own room I can work the rest around that :) Let me know if you want to chat! Jake
Hi there! I'm Sophie, I'm 23 years old and I'm from Auckland, New Zealand. I moved to Melbourne at the end of September 2018 and am currently living with my aunt, however I'm looking to move out. I work full time at Mantra on Russell, as a Food & Beverage Attendant. My hours vary - some days I'm working morning shifts starting at 5:45am/6am and other days I'm doing evenings, finishing at 11pm/11:30pm. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends, explore new places and events, and keep fit by going to the gym and playing tennis. I am a neat and tidy, laid back person, who has respect for herself and other peoples space and belongings. Move in date is flexible.
I am starting a new job in Melbourne, in the eastern suburbs. I am a pretty relaxed, considerate housemate, I enjoy socialising but also like my own company just as much. Always happy to watch some Netflix or enjoy some good food. I enjoy gardening so would be keen to set up a little herb garden or veggie patch if possible.
Hi, my name is Courtney and I'm looking for a place to call home for the rest of the year. I'm friendly, considerate and tidy, and I'm currently working in retail. I'm also studying part time, and am keen to settle into Melbourne and enjoy a few new hobbies. Please message me if you think we'll get along, I'd love to have a chat!
I work at a marketing agency/publishing company 3-4 full days a week and do various promotional jobs on weekends. That could see me handing out free products, which often means freebies around the house! I love my veggies and salad creations, but I'm keen to learn to cook some more proper dishes! Not vego or anything, but Lentils can be my second home sometimes. I have a passion for travel and last year got to experience living in a shared apartment in Barcelona whilst doing an internship, I've been to SE Asia and Europe a bunch of times as well. You'll definitely catch me outside soaking up some sun, putting together/making my latest outfits, or doing my regular yoga routine. I'm a social person and enjoy having a chat, but also value my downtime to put my feet up and watch a show, or even better, stretch the day away.
Fun, outgoing and adventurous person. I work full time Tuesday to Saturday. I’m very open minded and easy to get on with. I regularly attend the gym and enjoy socialising with friends.
Hi there, I'm Alfie. I work at a start-up company as an Operations/Office manager. I consider myself really easy going, and laid back. I love meeting and making new friends from all over the world, and learning different cultures; a friendly introvert if you can call me that.. I'm never without a smile on my face. On my spare time, I like to just relax, watch a movie, cook a nice meal or catch up with friends. I also love being outdoors - whether it's doing some gardening in the backyard, reading a book at the park, or climbing the Cathedral Ranges. I cycle around, and keep active as much as possible. I play social ultimate frisbee a couple times a week, which is always fun! I may or may not recruit you to come on a Saturday for a throw at the park. :) I'm not into the whole clubbing/party scene. Would prefer going to the pub, catching a gig, or some live music and having a chilled night out. I'd like to have a glass of wine or beer with my flatmates once in a while, share a meal, watch movies, and hang out together. But I respect your needed space too. I definitely tidy up after myself. I like to keep the house clean and tidy especially the communal areas (kitchen, bathroom, living, etc). I do have a few things to fill a house (a couch, TV, fridge, washer, etc) so would be cool if I have space for them in the house/storage or until I figure out what to do with them! I will most likely sell them off slowly if not needed in the new home. I am also bringing along some indoor plants, and herb planters if that's okay! :) About you: Looking for flatmates that are friendly, sociable, and considerate. They should also be responsible and tidy. I'd like flatmates who I can have fun, and hang out with - to have some quality time together; flatmates I can actually become friends with so we can make a home away from home.
Hi, I'm Andrea! I'm from Fiji and I'm doing my Honours in Psych at Swinburne (Hawthorn) for the year. I love live music, art and hiking and will mostly be out and about finding a new gig to go to when I'm not too busy with school work or reading/writing/making music (don't worry about noise, I've invested in headphones!) I'm usually real laid back and keep to myself but definitely don't mind sharing a giggle/beer and hanging out with open-minded people :)
Hey there! I'm Ranveer, currently an engineer working at Docklands looking for a place close to the city. I work full-time Monday to Friday (9am -5pm) and train for cricket Tuesday-Wednesday nights (and usually have matches for the entirety of Saturday). I'm into photography and digital art during my spare time and generally clean up after myself. While I enjoy cooking at home, I actively explore new cafes and places of interest. I ensure to clean up after myself and generally accomodating to peoples needs. Feel free to contact me for any other queries. Kind regards, Ranveer
I'm a 22 year old bartender from Perth, currently working in Camberwell. I'm clean and tidy, easy to get along with, laid-back and just an all around chill guy. I can keep to myself but I'm always happy to hang out as well.
Hello Everyone!!! I'm a 27 years old Colombian girl who is studying a Project Management course and working as a cleaner in a building in CBD. I've been working there since I arrived to Melbourne, so I can say my work is reliable. I am a pretty clean and calm adult who doesn't like parties at home, but enjoy a good beer and chat.

We are Derrelyn (27) a Aussie female and Blaine (26) a UK male couple looking for a place to move to and call home. I love cooking and baking healthy treats, going to the gym and trying new things. Blaine likes going to the gym and having a few beers. We both love to travel, play board games, trying out new things, Netflix and socialising but also like our own space too. We are easy going and like to keep the place fairly clean but certainly not OCD about it. We both work full time 8-5 in the city. Let us know if you have something available. Ps parking for 1 car would be needed
I'm a software developer and football player hoping to find a housemate in the perfect location for work and sport! I love eating and learning languages.
Professional landscape architect from Texas. Newly arrived in Australia, looking for clean, relaxed place to stay. I spend most of my time outside the house working and pursuing hobbies but I am happy to socialize and help with chores.
*flexible with durations and move out date. For the right household dynamic would like to stay long term* I’ve been living in Richmond with my partner and now looking for temporary accommodation so I can get my own rental. I’m a paramedic in the city and I work four on four off. I’ve got a Bull Arab X rescue, Phoebe, who I adore and need a small outdoor space for. I have a very high standard of cleanliness so you don’t have to worry about that aspect. I also pay for a weekly cleaner at the moment and I’m happy to continue that. I’m an introvert and enjoy my own solitude but also really appreciate company and conversation. On my days off I’ll be entering ‘sloth mode’ watching Netflix after night shift, going the dog park or seeing my siblings. I like getting dressed up and going out for a cocktail but not so much interested in clubbing. I’m vegetarian, non smoker and have never been late on rent. What you see is what you get - I’m genuine, respectful and very caring of those in my circle. Let me know if you’re a dog person too and we can get a coffee.
work in the fitness industry, living a healthy lifestyle, but also blend in with others on the weekend. "Listen, Understand, Action" is my way of living.
