Hi, I'm Daniel, a 38yr old guy looking for a nice share house in the Richmond area (but open to other inner city suburbs if the place was right) I'm full time employed as a field trainer/foreman in the elevator business. I have some good experience in sharehouses in the past, but for the last few years have been living in a house I own on the Mornington peninsula. Work commitments mean I have to work in and around the city more and I'm looking for a cool, friendly sharehouse to call home so I don't have to deal with the Monash freeway/carpark anymore! I'm a friendly, neat guy who would like to find some cool flat mates to enjoy the odd evening with having a few beers or a meal, but also like my independence and doing my own thing. So if I sound like a good fit for your house, feel free to shoot me an email.
A little bit about me: I am 25, from Perth, and new to Melbourne- as I've mentioned, I live in the area, so i have developed a routine in the suburb. I work full time in Hawthorn (Tuesday-Sunday), with the occasional 1pm-9pm shift during the week, so may appreciate the time and house to yourself in the afternoon on those days (or be indifferent to haha)! I also train at the Goodlife gym 4-5 days a week, before/after a shift. I am a highly sociable person, but have a healthy respect for your space and down time. I like to spend time relaxing by reading, or watching netflix- and only having been in Melbourne for about a week now, I want to go out and explore what this city has to offer! So time to yourself will be plentiful :) I am a tidy person who cleans up after themselves, do general house hold chores, and will tidy the kitchen if I see a few bits and bobs lying around. Rental and bill payments are paid on time of course! If you would like a reference for my rental history from previous house mates, and/or a credit history i will happily source them for you as well :) If you are interested in having me around, please don't hesitate to throw me a message! Kind regards, Rhea Empillo
I'm originally from Adelaide and I've been living in Melbourne for around 18 months now. I work full time for a university and I've been studying part time this year. After over a year living on my own in an apartment I'm missing the simple things in life, such having dinner with someone else, gardening, and hanging your washing outside in the sun! As I've been living on my own for a while, I've got white goods, lounge room furniture, books, bedroom furniture, a stack of bicycles, camping gear and a car.
Hello everyone, My name is Bram, a 30 year old Belgian who's travelling the world. I used to be an investment banker but I really hated it so I quit everything and started travelling. I've just spend a year in NZ and now moving to Australia. I will be working full time in Melbourne for about 6 months and I'm looking for a nice place to stay. This can be a shared room, an attic, a garage or an iglo for all I care. The most important part is the people I stay with. I am a very outgoing person and very straight forward. I believe in honesty all the way which admittedly can be a bit much some times (I say it like it is, no filter ;-)). I absolutely love music and I will have music playing all the time. I also play the guitar and I beatbox. I like sports such as climbing, swimming and snowboarding, but I recently discovered kite-surfing and I travel with all my gear therefore I will try doing it wherever and whenever I can. So a room close to the beach is definitely a plus. Oh and I'm a vegetarian and I absolutely love to cook for others and myself and I like to share ingredients and ideas! So if you are looking for a social, open-minded, honest and easygoing flatmate, then please look no further! Hope to see you soon!!
Hi guys! I'm Alice from Italy. I'm 30 years old and I'm looking for a room in a share house as soon as possible! I think I'm a great flatmate to live with because I'm really tidy and clean, respectful, quiet and reliable. I love TV series, reading and karting, and I really love to share a bottle of a good red wine! I don't like to live in a party house, I'm sorry! I've just finished my 88 days of farm job for my visa and I've already found a job full time in hospitality from Monday to Friday, but I'm also looking for another job for the weekend. Hope to have a chat soon Thanks heaps
Hello, I am an engineer recently moved to Melbourne from Perth for work. I am very clean and tidy. I am considerate of others not to disturb them. And I am most often busy with my work and computer activities.
Professional and sorted guy who is chilled and easy to live with.
Hello! I'm from Alaska and about to move to Melbourne on a working holiday visa for an undetermined amount of time, around 4-6 months or more potentially. I'm currently living in New Zealand traveling and working while living in my car so I'm excited to move into a real bedroom. I'm ideally looking for a place without a cat as I am allergic. I'm a respectful, social and tidy person, and I plan on working full time as soon as I arrive. I enjoy almost all things outdoors, video games, and going on adventures.
Hi i'm Alex, I'm your typical easy going guy from New Zealand, I have been living in Melbourne for about two years after a stint in London. Im looking to move as my company is relocating to Richmond and I want a easy commute. So what makes me great to live with well... From a flatmate perspective I have been flatting since i was 18 so I think I have a pretty good grasp on flat etiquette and being a good flatmate. Naturally I'm quite a social person and i dont take myself too seriously so I'm always up for yarn , watch a movie together or go on flat adventures to the pub/park. It would be great to have flatmates that all get along and can hang out at times. Being a mommas boy I was raised well and domesticated so I cook, clean and am generally pretty handy around the house. Professionally, I have a full time marketing job that as a perk gets you free cheese! everyone loves cheese... well except for vegans... One of my passions is travelling, so throughout the year ill be away on holidays and maybe even with the flatmates! I also do Muay Thai kickboxing which keeps me active. Anyway drop me a line if you think i might be a good fit. Alex

Hello potential future housemate! Rishi is a full time barista, and work for Sensory Labs in the city. I have been living in share houses for almost 4+ years, am pet friendly, don't smoke and pretty social, but also respect privacy. About myself- have multiple interests like music, hair, coffee, reading, being outdoors in random parks AND FOOD. Cook a lot at home and entertain a few people for dinners including housemates. Holla at me for some Biggie smalls playing in your house all the time and to smell garlic in the kitchen most nights ;) PS have a brother coming to live with me from overseas, so looking for a cute (not small) room to share with the little man.
Hello there, My name is Sabahat and I am looking to rent out a place by Jan! I am 25 and I am from India although I was born and raised in the middle east. I'm quite easy going, relaxed, helpful and respectful of others space.I love anything rock ..particularly 80s and 90s. In my spare time i like to read or paint or even binge watch something. I'm an outgoing person which means I'm always up for trips, live music shows or even just a walk outside.I like my things organised and clean. I also cook sometimes. 420 friendly. I am currently studying construction management at Swinburne and work at a subcontractors office during the week. I am actually only looking to move in by jan 16th. I know this is an early advertisement but I will be travelling to Oman in December and will homeless when i get back. So I'm hoping I get to meet you and confirm my new place before I leave in Dec. If anyone out there has something for me and wouldn't mind me for company pleaseeee do let me know :)
Hi, I'm looking for a medium to large sized room in a sharehouse . I lead a pretty busy life throughout the week, but enjoy a glass of wine or some brunch on the weekend. I appreciate a healthy balance of socialising and respecting privacy with housemates. My interests include travelling overseas, trying new restaurants, taking advantage of all the cultural goodness Melbourne has to offer with the Arts, learning French, and going to pilates.
I've been share housing for several years now, and know how to be a considerate housemate. I'm respectful of others space and privacy, but also keen for a chat over a glass of wine from time to time. Clean and tidy, but not uptight about it. Flexible move date. I work fulltime in the CBD -8:30 to 5:00, gym a few nights a week, and keep pretty low key during the week. Come the weekend I enjoy getting out of the house, and exploring all Melbourne has to offer- Museums/galleries, markets, outdoors, dinner & drinks, festivals, movies/theatre, the list goes on. Party days are over, but still manage a night out every once in a while. Looking for a home, not just a place to keep my things. I get along well with people who share similar interest, people who are open and honest, and those who don't take themselves too seriously. I like living in a relaxed at home. Open to sharing a meal when suits, but flexible with life's other commitments. I come with my adorable French Bulldog, who will never turn down a belly rub. He stays outside during the day (he sleeps for most of it!), then inside when I get home. It's hard not to love his quirks, but being a dog person is must.
Hey I'm Alex, I'm 28 and work in social media/marketing for a uni. On to more fun things, as much as we all like to think we're unique, when writing these I realise I'm very much not that unique. I like hanging out with friends, going out, but also like a good Netflix/Stan binge sesh too. Really into music and do some freelance music journalism too so I sometimes have spare +1's to some great gigs (think The Wombats, Jimmy Eat World, Grouplove, Foo Fighters, British India, San Cisco, Alison Wonderland, Temper Trap, Allday etc) around Melbourne. Love checking out live stand up comedy too and going to the movies. I used to work at a cinema for 8 years so despite how expensive it is I just can't stop going to see movies at the cinema. Really into sports, mainly AFL, soccer, basketball and then cricket in summer but don't mind tennis, baseball, ice hockey when it is on. That being said I unashamedly like a lot of (stereotypically) girly stuff like reality TV, in depth chats, rom-coms and the like. Don't see liking non 'manly' kinds of things as an issue at all to be honest. I clean up after myself, I am a great "vacuumer" (drilled in from the cinema days) and can confidently cook about 7 meals and have a crack at a few others, I mean what's wrong with cooking stir fry every time? I like to socialise with housemates and become friends but at the same time I'm pretty happy with my own company too. I also have my own friends so I'll try not to steal yours but I make no promises if they're cool, and if they give me free Calippos then I can make no promises at all. I have a car so if you don't, happy to go on grocery runs or to the bottle-o. I have very few useful things like a bed and so forth so happy to move into a furnished or unfurnished room. However what I can provide is a SodaStream (they're amazing), PS4 privileges, Harman Kardon soundsticks speakers for the lounge if needed (look them up they are super cool). I'd like to think I'm fun to live with, love to have a laugh. Working 8:30-4:30 I don't come home at random hours and make heaps of noise. And if I have a big night out I'll always try and be quiet and respectful when I come in. I'm currently crashing with my sister and husband in Balaclava and they have a baby due in Feb so I have to get out by then, but preferably by the end of November. Pretty much looking for anywhere in the east/south-east from the CBD to about Kew/Camberwell, don't want to live in Burwood where I work because as you'll know if you've been there, it's not the best. Preferences would be the following suburbs: St Kilda East/Balaclava//Windsor/Ripponlea/St Kilda/Prahran/Richmond/Caulfield/Elwood/Elsternwick/South Yarra/Armadale/Malvern.
I'm an easy going, respectful and clean person looking for like minded people to live with. I'm enjoying studying urban horticulture and landscape design at UniMelb in Burnley. I work in the same field (so hopefully I can find a place with a garden!) I spend most of my spare time outdoors, reading, seeing friends or back home in Gippsland. I have a number of exotic pets I love dearly but nothing suited to city living.

Hey all, I'm a 27yo male engineer from NZ. Been living in Melbourne since mid Feb. I'm easy going, respectful and punctual - keen to meet new people and learn new things from different people. I enjoy watching movies and sports. I enjoy playing squash and table tennis. Been checking out Melbourne a fair bit and would be keen to be introduced to new places in Melbourne. Every now and then I enjoy experimenting with recipes from YouTube - always looking for guinea pigs if you are keen. Looking for a place that is relaxed. Flatmates that want to hangout would be fantastic but happy enough to do my own thing.
Hiya! I'm Natalie and I'll be moving down to Melbourne from Brisbane on the 26th of October. I am starting a pastry chef apprenticeship in Kew so I'm open to any suburbs in that area. I'll be gone early in the mornings and probably working weekends. This is my first time renting. I'm a very clean, friendly, easy going person. I love to chat and am looking for housemates that I can hang out with as well. But I do also like my own space now and then and will definitely give that to my housemates. I love going to cafes or bars to get out of the house. But also love sitting around watching a good movie or tv show.
I'm friendly, considerate of peoples space and things, clean and tidy, relaxed, happy to share the chores and willing to discuss anything. As I have a dog, I take care of her exceptionally so there is no need to worry. I know her, her things and anything to do with her is my responsibility and I wouldn't have it any other way. Also due to having a dog, I am needing a place with a backyard or decent sized courtyard with grass. I look forward to finding someone to share with who has similar qualities. Thanks - enjoy :)
After traveling & working around the world for the past 3 years, I’m ready to make Melbourne my next home! I have family in the Yarra Valley but will be working in the city, so a good location between both would suit perfectly. Trying to find somewhere dog friendly, however not essential. I’m quite use to a share house, obviously would prefer my own place but I don’t mind living with others - cleanliness is an absolute must. Ages 25+ and working professionals preferred. Any questions, just ask! 😊
Singaporean. Social butterfly but also a total nerd when exams are nearing. Full-time Law student at Deakin University. Easy to live with, respects privacy. Love to live around CBD or the east
Hi there, My name is Jorden and I'm an easy going and reliable Queenslander who is currently studying International business at RMIT. I'm looking to rent a room on the East or South East side of Melbourne CBD, ideally within 30 minutes public transport to the city. I'm clean and tidy, love to socialise and enjoy being around animals so am happy to live with house mates from all walks of life. I also own a car so I am looking for a property where parking is available. I am happy to be part of a teamup so feel free to message me :)
