Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old multimedia designer from Finland. I have been in Melbourne for about four months and working full time (weekdays 9 to 5ish) doing digital marketing and design. I'm looking for a nice place, close public transport and the city. Preferably until the end of July (five months), but also open for shorter periods. I'm really into music and all kinds of creative stuff in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and other events around the city or just hanging out with friends, watching movies and etc. I have plenty of experience sharing apartments around the world and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. I'm also responsible, clean and reliable, so I'm happy to do my bit around the house and will take care of the rent and bills without a hassle. Not too interested in a party house, but a friendly and easy-going share-house environment. Feel free to contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
Well I'm Juan David, I'm from colombia and actually I'm studying at swinburne in glenferry rd. tidy and respectful, not a party guy but that doesn't mean that I'm gonna stay in my room all time. I'd like to chill out for a while on weekends and share with you the most interesting things about my culture . Hope u understand that I'm improving my english so any question that u have just let me know
Hello there! I'm Tamara, 32 years old from Brazil. I recently moved to Melbourne to study, but I also work full time. I spent two years in Australia with the working holiday and now I'm studying Travel and Tourism. I think what makes me a great person to live with is that I'm easy-going, but I also like the house tidy and clean, so I can be relaxed in a way, but also responsible. I grew up in Brazil, but moved to Germany in my 20s, where I spent 7 years. After Germany became a bit boring for me, so I went traveling and lived in different places like Switzerland and Cambodia. Now I'm based in Melbourne for a couple of years and I love the city. Music, cinema and arts are my life. I love to exercise as well with yoga, running or swimming. It's difficult to write in a short note why I'd be a good housemate, but I honestly consider myself a good girl at heart, good fun, and very laid-back.
I am a 22 year old male, originally from Western Australia and only recently moved to Melbourne (10 months ago) after I graduated with an Environmental Science degree and gained employment as a Contaminated Land Consultant in South Melbourne. My preferred length of stay states 4 months, however I am open to settling in for much longer depending on other circumstances which I am happy to discuss in detail. I am very relaxed, stress-free and prefer to live in a tidy environment. I am very active, attend the gym in South Melbourne after work everyday and also play Football (AFL) in the winter. As I maintain a healthy diet, I enjoy cooking my own meals and always happy to cook for other housemates whilst i'm at it. Always up for a good chat about anything and everything. Please consider me as your potential housemate!
I am very easy going guy from France on a Working Holiday Visa willing to settle down in Melbourne for a year. Friendly and quiet, I'm very easy to live with. Always up to meet new people and drink some beers after a long day at work!
Hi there, I've just moved to Melbourne, from India.. Very enthusiastic to make new friends and hang out.. I like to read sometimes, go for hitch hike, go camping and have irresistible love the pets.. I am a Post Graduate student ,and I am used to the "sharing a place" thing for almost 4 years now..
Hi, we are a German couple. We want to find a long term accomodation as we are planning to stay three to four years in Melbourne. We both have been living in shared flats for many years and are looking for a relaxed rather than a party place. Let me write a bit about us so you get a first impression. We both have studied in the beautiful little town of Heidelberg in the South West of Germany and have been a couple since 2010. We decided to go to Australia a year ago and Andrea found a job as a postdoctoral researcher at Monash University in Clayton. Before her job starts in March we took the opportunity to travel throughout New Zealand. Now the real adventure begins, we have to find a place to live and get settled into our new lifes. We both enjoy nature, outdoors and like to go for walks or day hikes. We cook a lot and like to invite friends for dinner every once in a while. Arne: I have studied cultural anthropology, political science and psychology. I like to travel and I have seen my share of the world: I was one of the countless backpackers in Oz after my civil service in 2005. Later I went to Chile for an exchange year. The university there was not so good, so I rather started travelling throughout Latin America from Fireland to Mexico. I took my time to finish my studies and read some more interesting books about world history, philosophy and the global financial system. After university I tried to get a job in an IT company and was more than surprised when they actually hired me. I did a crash course in IT & project management and really liked it. In 2014 my company sent me to work for one of the big banks in Zurich, Switzerland, and I have stayed there until moving to Melbourne. Once we are settled in I will start looking for an IT job again. I have been playing indoor volleyball for my entire life and want to join a team again. But let's find a new home first... Andrea: I grew up in a German city close to the Dutch border and did my bachelor in Nijmegen. I moved to Heidelberg for my master in molecular biology and to Uppsala, Sweden, for an exchange semestre. I got my PhD in 2015. I had a great Ultimate Frisbee team in Heidelberg and am really looking forward to join one in Melbourne. So please let us know if you think we would fit in. Happy to come over to get to know eatch other in person.
Hey, I’m Jake. I’m 22 and Moving to Melbourne from Adelaide in March to work a full time finance job in the CBD. I’m looking to either find an established share house or start a new place with 1 or 2 lovely people around the same age. I’m very easy-going and promise to not annoy you too much. I love spending my spare time during the week relaxing with a decent movie, enjoying a solid TV binge or listening to music but it would be great to find someone who still doesn’t mind going out for a few drinks or sharing some great food. I’m respectful and I like to think I'm pretty clean and tidy (without being a freak). If I sound like someone you could put up with, feel free to drop me a message!
Hey everyone, I am looking for a house to call a home. I am a very active bubbly person who is tidy clean and respectful. I enjoy music, movies, cooking, keeping fit, sports and so much more. I am looking for a place with like minded people that I can enjoy living with to have a few drinks and dinner with if we are all home. I enjoy cooking and movies and oddly cleaning, won't lie love a nice clean house. I work full time in sport administration which I love. If you would like to know anymore about me hit me up :)
I am a 22 year old male living in Tasmania. I am moving to Melbourne in mid March and looking for accommodation in South Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. I currently have two part time jobs here in Tasmania, at Woolworths and at a yoghurt factory. I also have full time employment organised for when I arrive in Melbourne. I am an easy going, tidy bloke who enjoys relaxing, martial arts, music and coffee. I also LOVE dogs.
So being the spontaneous person I am I've accepted a job I was randomly offered in Melbourne that commences in 3 weeks.....so needless to say I need somewhere to live! So a bit about me....physiotherapist and masters in OHS, self confessed terrible cook (though will tell people I'm trying to impress otherwise), pretty adventurous and reckon I'm a decent roomie having had long stints renting here and overseas in houses the equivalent size of a donga. I'm pretty comfortable talking to people so you don't have to worry about awkward silent moments...... I fancy myself as a novice green thumb, exercise a lot and follow far too many furntiture designers on instagram. I own my own property which I renovated, lived in and now rent out so know the value of a good tenant and happen to know how to use an electric drill should it be required. Ideally I'd like to rent with just one other but I'll bend the rules with two if you've got a wicked sense of humour and good fun. Right, I think I'm done pumping my own tyres so if you're interested in letting me live in your house and cooking you a mediocre meal which I'll make up for with a decent wine then hit me up! Cheers! Laura
Hi everyone, I'm a 24 year old Biochemistry/ Human Pathology major studying at Monash Clayton. I'm third year, so this is the big one (before probably several even bigger years post grad... don't remind me). I've been thinking of moving a little closer to campus but not quite ready to commit to true suburban life. So South Yarra down to the caulfield region is probably about my sweet spot. I'm very active and love to be healthy, if you want someone to go for a run with or a training partner.. you have a friend right here who you can tag along with to the gym for free (free entry for a guest). But otherwise, I'm going to be focused on school work and generally demolishing this third year at uni. Lived in a number of share houses over the year so know the drill. Very tidy in shared areas and happy to contribute to keeping the house in order. I work in a healthcare clinic but am also a signed model, so during uni breaks work a lot to fund more easy living through semester. Also very happy to live in a place with pets, if you're fine with me lavishing plenty of attention on them.
Im currently working full time in Port Melbourne, living in Seddon with my 1year old cat who is fully trained and is an inside cat. Wanting to move to the eastern side of the city but not too far out, let me know if you can help us out.
Hi I'm Tiffany. I'm 26 years old and work full time Monday to Friday as an employment consultant in the city. I'm bubbly, enjoy seeing friends and family and enjoy my alone time. I need a bedroom which will fit a queen bed, desk and tall boy draws. I am very clean and tidy :)
Hey guys, Lily here (26) from the Netherlands.. just moved to Melbourne:) I am easygoing and fun to live with. Always up for a good conversation and some hanging out with a glass of wine. Besides also love to enjoy myself by reading a book or doing some yoga. Love, Lily
Hey lovelies! I'm a part-time exercise science student and I work in South Melbourne in a centre for lower back pain rehabilitation. I'm clean and I love cooking healthy meals. I like to work hard, study hard and most importantly play hard 😉 A few cheeky bevs every so often are a must! I'm looking to live with 2 or 3 other people in a social house where we hang out, cook together from time to time and go on crazy adventures! I'd love for everyone to be involved in sport in some way but that's not a necessity! Also my parents breed dogs so once a year I can take you to visit a swarm of puppies!!!
I'm a friendly, clean, calm, easy going girl from India, I'm moving to Melbourne soon for an MBA at the Swinburne university, I'm looking for a place to live close to my uni with friendly people and plesant surroundings :)

I enjoy playing basketball, soccer, pool and all other kind of sports. Respectful and tolerent and open minded My favorite kind of music is Old school Hip-hop but i like other kinds too. Looking for a place to stay to settle down and work to get ready for next year as international student fees are pretty high at university.
Hey! My name's Hayden :) I'm doing a clinical masters in neuropsychology overseas next year. I have two part-time jobs, and I'm looking for somewhere to stay where it's easy to commute to work over the next 3+ months. About me: I'm a super chill guy who loves to socialise but also respects others privacy. Well domesticated and very clean (but not intense). I also love sports so when I'm not working I'm often out training (football is my favourite! That's soccer to most Aussie folk). I want to stay somewhere east so I remain close to work. I am a group facilitator at eating disorders Victoria which means my hours can be quite varied, but I'm extremely respectful of other's schedules! If you have something that would suit me let me know. I'd love to meet you and check the house out!
I am a friendly, respectful and clean person. I am 29 years old looking for a nice place to share housing.

I am a 3rd Year Bachelor of Sound and Audio Engineering Student at Boxhill Institute. I've been living with a housemate for the past year and a half but an opportunity has arisen for them to move into a better/cheaper residency with other friends, so I I will most likely be in need of a new place to live in the next few months, whilst I finish my final year of study. I am a musician, artist, fun and loud but respect quiet, tidy, independent. I currently don't have a car so will need to be near public transport. I have a small dog but may be able to leave them with family if necessary.
Hi, Very social, organised and clean student who works two jobs. I am currently studying my second year and looking for a place close to my uni (Swinburne) or along a train line so I have convenient transport. Love to cook so there will always be food. I am usually always busy with uni, work and social time so I wouldn't be in the way but at the same time would be down to catch up over a glass of wine. Don't have much time to go out on the weekend as I am usually working so I am not looking for a party house. Thanks and please do contact me if you think we would be suitable flat mates.

I am a fun-loving 27-year-old professional from Melbourne looking to either fill a vacant room or team up with others to start something new. I am very easy going - I have a social, vivacious and spontaneous personality and enjoy cooking and/or catching up with housemates over a good tv show or drink. Yet, I am also very considerate of others' space and enjoy my own to unwind here and there. My profession is in the sciences but I enjoy anything creative in my own time; namely painting, reading and listening to alllllll sorts of music/going to gigs etc. I try to live a very active, healthy lifestyle and am a massive foodie so enjoy going out with friends regularly to check out new spots. I also adore anything adventurous outdoors and trying new things/learning from others' interests and knowledge. I am neat and tidy by nature and proactive with cleaning as I appreciate living in a clean space. Please PM me if this sounds like you!! Liv
I'm pretty easy going and always up for a chat over a few beers. Work for a marketing company in Collingwood and also studying a masters part time. Moving up from Geelong so looking to live with some fun, easy going people.
Hey I'm Stef and I'm looking to move into a house (preferably) or apartment with 1-2 people as soon as possible as I'm currently commuting from Geelong. I come with all of the furniture and with an adorable French Bulldog named Biggie, so you're going to have to like dogs! I work office hours in marketing for a pub group, am extremely easy going and enjoy the odd vino (or 2). I've previously lived with a partner and after that a housemate, and tend to fall into the role of the organised/responsible one which doesn't really phase me. So I'm fully capable of remembering to pay the bills. I really don't care whether you want to be mates or keep to yourself, however a brunch/drinking buddy is always welcome. My main request is my own bathroom and an outdoor space for my dog. Feel free to get in touch to go for a coffee or wine.
I'm a 25 year old female working professional in marketing in Richmond. I like to keep busy with work, exercise and going out with family and friends for a good meal and a wine. Looking for housemate(s) similar to myself who would enjoy a chat after work sometimes but also like to chill out in their own time too.
I am happy to move in a shared house or start one in the area listed. I have all white goods like fridge TV, L shaped leather couch, washing and of course all the kitchen utensils. If we find a place with a backyard, I even have a BBQ and backyard furniture :). Let me know your thoughts. I would be inspecting properties or move into a shared place.
I'm Henry, 26, English by Birth - Aussie by passport. Passionate about about health and fitness, and drinking Tea. I currently working in construction which means I am out of the house most days. After hours I usually go to the gym and i cook most nights and enjoy cooking for others too. I work hard and I also know how to have a good time. However i need my sleep and can be a grandma during the week. iv lived with strangers before however I have been renting my own place in prahran for the last 2 years, so like most people, I like having my own space- but Im also a people person and living by yourself can get lonely.. Id like to live with people who I can confuse with sarcasm, who have a good work/life balance, friendly, clean and intelligent. Pets love me too. If I sound like someone you could see as a housemate, please give me a call or message :) cheers H
I am an open fun (German) roommate with years of experience in sharing apartments. I like to cook and be social, but also appreciate some quiet time now and then. I work in hospitality on Chapel so I do like to go out for a drink or two. I am not the cleanest person ever (so probably not the right fit for people with OCD) but I keep the common areas tidy. I am really easy going so just message me and you can get to know me!
I'm a weird kid from Bendigo studying IT at Monash this year! I'm quiet, shy, and keep to myself, but I am not unfriendly, and I like to be helpful. In my spare time I draw, read, and worry about the future. I don't leave hair in the shower, and I put the lid down after using the toilet. If you have a lawn or some bushes and the right equipment, I can deal with that too, I've been working as a gardener for over a year!
Hi.. I am Elen, I am an Indonesian Chinese. I am studying master at Swinburne. I am looking for a new house in Hawthorn area. I prefer a single room and share with all females. I am an easy going person and also would like to share meals, chat, hangout with the flatmates. I like jokes and would not mind to have drinks on weekend. I wish to share the house with easy going people and friendly people. I am neat and pay the rent on time. If there is a houseshare/flatshare available with the same criteria, please contact me. Cheers 😊
I am a 28 year old guy from Amsterdam who is currently traveling the world after working 8 years as a young professional in Telecommunications. I've recently arrived in Melbourne and I noticed I really love it here. That's why I'm looking for a place to call home. I'm also planning to work as much as possible in the next few months. People appreciate me because of my positive, outgoing and happy attitude. I'm reliable, trustworthy and very social. I would describe myself as the 'just trying to be happy kinda guy'. I'm sociable, reliable, friendly, considerate and trustworthy. I'm a vegetarian and a smoker (but can smoke outside), I love beers and I am a music lover in general (would love to learn to play any instrument!). Other things I appreciate: food & cooking, sustainable living, serious conversations, coffee, spirituality and the smell of washing powder. Ideally I'm seeking for a chilled out, homely and cosy plase to call home in area's like Fitzroy, Coburg, Brunswick, Northcote, Richmond, Collingwood, St. Kilda, Windsor or surrounding area's. BUT, I'm really flexible so if you have a room somewhere else, please let me know as well! At the moment I don't have a place to live so I would rather move in yesterday then tomorrow :) So, if you concider to rent out a room and you are looking for an awesome housemate, don't hesitate to contact me right away so we could have a chat in real life soon (that probably gives a way better impression of myself then this story)
We are a couple from Nottingham England currently travelling Australia for a year. We have been living in Melbourne for the past 3 months. We work full time during the week. We are both very sociable and love meeting new people.

Hello!! I'm from Indonesia with Chinese background. I'm living life like a double agent: When I was in Indonesia I'm self employed, running my own online shop selling bags and shoes, often travelling to meet suppliers in China - while enjoying my time living in the world's most liveable city with a working holiday visa! :) In Melbourne I work at a chocolate cafe as an all-rounder. I love coffee so it was a really fun job for me. I look forward to work at flower shops for my love for flowers as well. I love reading and wandering around the city. Since I have about a little more than 4 months left in Australia, I'll be working at a chocolate cafe casually, while working on my online shop, and enjoy Melbourne as much as I can. I've lived in Footscray area for the past 6 months and would love to try living in other suburbs! I enjoy exploring the city on my own and am looking forward to go on road trips for the rest of my stay in Melbourne. I also love nights in as much as nights out drinking with friends! Very excited to be back in Melbourne after going home for the holidays for a month.
Hi world! My name is Alexander Sørensen. I'm a study abroad student from Denmark studying film at Swinburne for a semester, and I'm super excited to get the chance to live in Melbourne. I'm a kiwi, so of course I love a great glass of wine. I'm quite good in the kitchen, I can bake a pretty great cake and my brownie could easily be some of the best in the world. I will be undertaking my Masters at RMIT and working Part-time so will be super busy. I work/ study in the fashion industry, so it would be cool if we had a few interests in common.
